    Gameplay could not have been better. I have always hated playing shooters on harder difficulties, because that would warrant abandoning your balls for the sake of taking cover every second. Here, it is more organic with the movement system of dashing, jumping sprinting around the arena.     It's the raw cerebral intensity of Quake married with Doom's enemy roster and its violent, cathartic attitude. Enjoying this game requires a certain frame of mind, a certain willingness to push yourself and to think in the heat of the moment. But it's extremely rewarding if you meet it on its own terms.

    Yes, Doom Eternal is much much harder than 2016 for anyone just starting into it. It's an edge lord's game and I say that with a light heart.

    What an epic game. The soundtrack carries action pieces to greater heights and the ambience doesn't hold back punches either. A climbing ladder of constant challenge, new curve balls and constant learning results in a methodical, cheeky dance at the devils door, where everything in the audiovisual department is fuels a spectacle you create by sheer skill and prowess.

    I gave up on FPS as a genre quite a long ago. Not the biggest fan of Doom 2016 but this game was way better and much more deep.

    Such a challenging game, but it won't stop you if you'd prefer to take a breezy tour through metal album landscapes and demon guts !!
    And dont forget to put the difficulty on Nightmare ...

    Make sure to have a combat knife to shave with after every play session because you're gonna grow so much hair that you will be able to make a rope out of it to hang demons from the ceiling.

    As a sequel, Eternal is magnificent. It manages to expand without changing what made its predecessor awesome. DOOM’s core remains intact: the gory combat, bloody imagery, frantic pace, and super satisfying gunplay. What has changed is the coating. We’re presented with a new gameplay loop that builds upon that of DOOM 2016. Not everyone will like it, but I sure did!

    The game's main idea appears to be always to keep moving and is an action title that features a crazy amount of weapon and weak points to exploit in your enemies. There is a lot of detail to appreciate in its gameplay and is one of the best first-person shooters.

    Fun game. There is a lot to do while exploring the levels it features, and its gameplay is always filled with adrenaline and the exhibition of how good you can be while playing it. I had a great time with it as I went from being scare of demons to punching them out of existence!

    Don't listen to all the fools complaining about there being no ammo, you have a chainsaw that recharges itself and when used replenishes around half of your ammo. Rip and tear and, most importantly, chainsaw until it's done.

    Doom as usual getting better every year. What it was good now with Eternal is even better, extremely violent, basically all the demons from Hell trying to kill you no matter what all sorts of demons.

    It has 1 DLC The Ancient Gods which is separated in 2 parts, Part 1 you'll play this year and the second half you'll get it in 2021.

    I highly recommend this game cuz you'll love to kill those demons with a bunch of different weapons and just kill all of them! no mercy allowed playing Doom or you're dead!

    The end result of all of this is a hyper-intense gameplay loop of constant movement, weapon swapping, and decision making. It makes you feel like a demon-slaying god when you finally overcome. It's extremely engaging to the point that I keep coming back even after like 4 playthroughs.

    The game openly plays better than DOOM 2016 in every way. The game's feel gains some and loses some over Doom 2016, but from a purely gameplay perspective its just incredible. If you love shooters, you love this. Nuf said.

    I play DOOM before workouts for Adrenaline boost,and listen to its Soundtrack during the workout.

    You can discover secrets in the stages and some collectibles help you improve your suit and stuff.I honestly don't want this game to end.The game introduces you new boss demons in certain missions,then those demons can spawn normally in demon stages mid-game.(If you are new to shooters don't choose normal difficulty.

    666/10 A must-have game for shooter fans.

    Probably one of the best single player, FPS of all times. Only would have been happier if there weren't quite so many maneuverability tests that were Mandatory (for us non-speed runners) throughout the levels.

    Badass game. The amount of gore in this game is also quite amazing, as glory kills are very grotesque in the best way possible. You can easily see which demons you have attacked beforehand, as GIB mechanics make it possible to see the chunks of demon you have blown to bits.

The final boss didn't feel threatening at all and I had no issues beating it. The soundtrack fits the ambiance and pace of the game so incredibly well. Time flies when I play this game and the immersion is complete, I highlySame as Doom 2016 but without the flaws the previous 2016 installment had. The campaign is simply perfect yet a bit disappointing when it comes to boss fights. The final boss didn't feel threatening at all and I had no issues beating it.     When you actually finish the game and feeling like a better player afterward will surely make you feel something inside. Accomplishment? maybe. Shame? partly. But mostly just sad that its over. Anyways gotta go melt my face with adrenaline, brain works twice as fast now and real life is way too slow.

    Very great game. One of my caveats with DOOM 2016 was the level design. After a while, walking down one corridor after another gets tedious. The wonder of being on Mars didn’t last long either. Therefore, I was pleased to see that Eternal is the exact opposite. You will explore multiple planets and realms, both familiar and new ones.     Doom Eternal is the best "Gameplay" game. It knows its story is dumb but its fun and the fact that a guy literally too angry to die is Bhopping around killing demons is is top tier.

    The gameplay is next level and its definitely one of my favourite games of all time. Also the dlc is amazing and well worth the price and the optimization is really good.
