Dec 7, 2017APPARENTLY IF YOU DON'T BUY THE DLC YOU CAN'T DO PRESTIGE RAID, PRESTIGE NIGHTFALL OR TRIALS. Seriously? Wow..... I don't know what to say. I mean especially for the PC Players this seems really unfair, and even for the console players, to be gated out of content they paid for and had access to. Just, wow. So I guess not buying DLC isn't an option anymore.... Extremely dissapointing.

Dec 12, 2017It's as though Bungie forgot to do their homework (DLC) and put something together the morning of. This is a poor excuse for a DLC which I don't usually purchase. Yes, we have once again been $h!t on

Dec 10, 2017BungiVision seem intent on keeping up with DiceEA in wanting to rip off and alienate their player base. Three months since vanilla Destiny 2 was released and they lock content and platinum trophy behind a paywall (expansion).
And said expansion is seriously lacking in a lot of areas.
And the corporate greed continues..... -

Dec 17, 2017I will give a zero because i havent even play the game so there is nothing to criticize , btw only sure thing is that a rating of 1.4 from more than 400 ratings is the worst score in all of metactitics history so i will put a zero to make this even more exotic . Worst thing is i had prepaid for the 2 dlcs and now i dont know even if i am going to play them

Dec 7, 2017This is the worst Destiny DLC and quite honestly the worst video gaming experience I've ever had. It's short, repetitious to the extreme, filled with E grade writing and as per usual is Bungie reusing assets at its finest. This DLC completely put me off playing Destiny let alone ever buying DLC for it again (and I put 2000+ hours in Destiny 1!). Avoid this like the plague.

Dec 8, 2017I love destiny. I liked house of wolves.... this is so disappointing I just feel robbed and let down... this should have been free... no substance at all - can we have D1 back please.

Dec 13, 2017Bungie have destruction a great game. This is not a dlc, but a old part of the dark garden, in destiny 1. This game is poor and bad made, and i suppose it's to do only take a big money...

Dec 11, 2017Well, I understood why D2 was made instead of D1 got new DLC. And I was admiring how smart they disconnect D2 and D1 the way they did.
Turns out. D2 is BS.
PVP terrible.
PVE I felt im weak than ever.
No east egg or any lure based collection fun.
Everyone holding same gun.
Cya bungie. -
Dec 5, 2017a 2 hour campaign for $20? Is this a joke? The expansion doesn't address any major concerns about the game. No more vault space, no functional vault with decent sorting options, HDR is broken no PS4, mod system is still garbage, etc etc. Oh, and public events got nerfed. Thanks Bungo!

Dec 8, 20172 Hours of content, everything else is in the cash shop. Bungie is failing hard. This DLC will kill Destiny 2. They also removed content from the base game that you already payed for and locked it behind the DLC.
-
Dec 5, 2017I do not feel like I got my money's worth. It feels like Bungie cut a small chunk of the original game and held it aside as a weak, undersized, paid expansion. What a rip...

Dec 7, 2017Absolute awful waste of money. Less than 2 hours of uninteresting game-play, a single strike and old weapons. No bugs fixed, no concerns addressed, and a massive unethical crap on their fanbase - this is ignoring the controversy in that anyone not buying this DLC now has a huge portion of Destiny 2's end-game locked behind a paywall.
-
Dec 11, 2017Game is **** **** Expansion is **** **** The entire thing is a huge cash grab scam designed to rape your wallet. Steer clear of this franchise, this developer and this publisher. The next video game crash is coming sooner than you think.
-
Dec 8, 2017Very well done Bungie, keep up the good works and no one would buy your games anymore.
- Boring short story
- Re-skin weapons and enemies
- Overpriced DLC
DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS GARBAGE -

Dec 13, 2017We saw what you did there Bungee. First you hack the XP to make it lower, then you lock platinum trophies behind level capped DLC content. Oh so it's a "mistake" ONLY because you got caught.
Oh, and where are the new trophies? Is that why you locked the platinum, because you knew people wouldn't buy it without out?! Idiots... -

Dec 6, 2017Poor 2h campaign, 2 uninspired strikes, reskinned gear across all vendors, interesting and new items locked behind microtransactions and most importantly still an lackluster and unmotivating endgame. PvP is still a mess and it seems like Bungie don‘t care at all. The DLC is not worth the money and is a huge letdown.
-
Dec 6, 2017Oh what could have been, a Vex DLC on Mercury featuring Osiris sounds like an 8 course degustation, but is instead a stale dinner roll.
Bungie, is a studio more interested in micro transactions and patting themselves on the back, than providing meaningful content for it's consumers. A once dedicated player base who are quickly dropping this potato in favor of other games. -
Dec 6, 20172 hour story, rest is locked behind microtransactions. waste of money. Platinum Trophy is unobtainable if you don't purchase the DLC either which means its blocked behind a paywall. Terrible.

Playstation Official Magazine UKFeb 22, 2018Lacking content and doubling down on what's wrong with the vanilla game, Curse of Osiris is a lightweight grind and a missed opportunity to fix Destiny 2's faults. [Feb 2018, p.97]
-
Edge MagazineJan 9, 2018It still has much to do. But for the first time in a while, Destiny 2 players have finally been given something to be positive about. [Issue#315, p.116]

Jan 8, 2018Unless you’ve already bought this as part of a season pass, don’t waste your money on Curse of Osiris until Bungie actually changes direction, and I’m not talking about executing their proposed changes which painfully miss the mark yet again. The base game of Destiny 2 is a great shooter for 50-60 hours of solid content on your first play through of a redemptive story. But there is no endgame to keep going beyond that and there isn’t anything packaged into this DLC than enhances that initial experience. At this point, if you’re desperate for a looter/shooter then either fire up Destiny 1 again, watch Anthem videos on YouTube and hope for a brighter Q4 2018, or else maybe go give the Division a chance. It had a dumpster fire launch but can be had on the cheap now and I hear it’s become a very good game in its current state.
