Dec 5, 2017I quote 100%, we share the same thoughts. "I do not feel like I got my money's worth. It feels like Bungie cut a small chunk of the original game and held it aside as a weak, undersized, paid expansion. What a rip..."
-
Dec 5, 20172 hour campaign, 1 strike, and old exotics ported from Destiny 1.
Don't waste your money on this pathetic excuse of a cash grab from a company that continues to rip it's fans off. -

Dec 5, 2017a 2 hour campaign for $20? Is this a joke? The expansion doesn't address any major concerns about the game. No more vault space, no functional vault with decent sorting options, HDR is broken no PS4, mod system is still garbage, etc etc. Oh, and public events got nerfed. Thanks Bungo!

Dec 8, 2017Very well done Bungie, keep up the good works and no one would buy your games anymore.
- Boring short story
- Re-skin weapons and enemies
- Overpriced DLC
DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS GARBAGE -
Dec 7, 2017Very sad when you are deceived. This DLC shows all the attitude of the company to the players. And this is only the first addition, it's terrible to imagine what will happen next.
-
Dec 11, 2017I’ve been playing Destiny since day one and with all the promise Bungie showed with releases like the Taken King and Rise of Iron, Bungie has gone all EA with Destiny 2. I’m not sticking around hoping that the game will be fixed, I’m out. Bungie’s intentions are to casualise the **** out of this franchise and milk the audience with microtransactions and I want no part of it. Such a shame.

Dec 10, 20170 passion from bungie. This game has become a cash grab. Nothing more.
Eververse has more than 50% of the new items in this DLC. 60% of the exotics are returning rehashed exotics from D1. Very bad. 0 points. -

Dec 8, 201720 bucks gets you a hour worth of story missions (that where horrible), PvP map level Mercury to explore and cheap, underhanded methods to get you to buy loot boxes. As a die hard Destiny fan this mad e me question going back when the next expansion is release

Dec 10, 2017BungiVision seem intent on keeping up with DiceEA in wanting to rip off and alienate their player base. Three months since vanilla Destiny 2 was released and they lock content and platinum trophy behind a paywall (expansion).
And said expansion is seriously lacking in a lot of areas.
And the corporate greed continues..... -
Dec 11, 2017Well, I understood why D2 was made instead of D1 got new DLC. And I was admiring how smart they disconnect D2 and D1 the way they did.
Turns out. D2 is BS.
PVP terrible.
PVE I felt im weak than ever.
No east egg or any lure based collection fun.
Everyone holding same gun.
Cya bungie. -

Dec 11, 2017Game is **** **** Expansion is **** **** The entire thing is a huge cash grab scam designed to rape your wallet. Steer clear of this franchise, this developer and this publisher. The next video game crash is coming sooner than you think.
-
Dec 8, 2017Essa dlc nao tem nada a ver com o destiny, onde esta aquela hipe o jogo morreu faz tempo e todos nos sabemos disso incluisive a bungie uma pena a activision destruir um jogo desse
-
Dec 8, 2017This is waste of money, No pvp content, imbalance weapon's and Bungie say ist bug, No guys u just dont think that lazer weapons may be useful at pvp, So thx Bungie for ruined weekends.
-
Dec 8, 20172 hour story, rest is locked behind microtransactions. waste of money. Platinum Trophy is unobtainable if you don't purchase the DLC either which means its blocked behind a paywall. Terrible.

Dec 12, 2017It's as though Bungie forgot to do their homework (DLC) and put something together the morning of. This is a poor excuse for a DLC which I don't usually purchase. Yes, we have once again been $h!t on

Dec 11, 2017EA told Bungie "I bet you can't scam like us." Bungie replies "Hold my beer." lol Got'em lol. Not only we want more money, we going to prevent D2 vanilla players from having content they suppose.

Jan 5, 2018Do Not WASTE your money on this.... The vanilla game is average to say the least and this adds nothing at all.
-
Dec 6, 2017Payed twenty euros for a mediocre 2 hour campaign, 1 strike and old refurbished exotics from destiny 1. I urge people not to buy this waste of money for an expansion which is a serious disappointment to many fans out there.
Well done Bungie, you've officially lost my interest completely in this franchise. -
Dec 6, 2017Poor 2h campaign, 2 uninspired strikes, reskinned gear across all vendors, interesting and new items locked behind microtransactions and most importantly still an lackluster and unmotivating endgame. PvP is still a mess and it seems like Bungie don‘t care at all. The DLC is not worth the money and is a huge letdown.

Dec 6, 2017Oh what could have been, a Vex DLC on Mercury featuring Osiris sounds like an 8 course degustation, but is instead a stale dinner roll.
Bungie, is a studio more interested in micro transactions and patting themselves on the back, than providing meaningful content for it's consumers. A once dedicated player base who are quickly dropping this potato in favor of other games. -
Dec 7, 2017If I didn't know any better I would swear up and down Mercury was a PvP map that was scrapped. Reskin Destiny 1 Exotics with different wording. We don't learn anything new about the vex or Osiris... after the end of the sixth story missions you will say is that it? And everything good is locked in the eververse..

Dec 7, 2017APPARENTLY IF YOU DON'T BUY THE DLC YOU CAN'T DO PRESTIGE RAID, PRESTIGE NIGHTFALL OR TRIALS. Seriously? Wow..... I don't know what to say. I mean especially for the PC Players this seems really unfair, and even for the console players, to be gated out of content they paid for and had access to. Just, wow. So I guess not buying DLC isn't an option anymore.... Extremely dissapointing.

Dec 7, 2017Absolute awful waste of money. Less than 2 hours of uninteresting game-play, a single strike and old weapons. No bugs fixed, no concerns addressed, and a massive unethical crap on their fanbase - this is ignoring the controversy in that anyone not buying this DLC now has a huge portion of Destiny 2's end-game locked behind a paywall.
-

-
Dec 6, 2017This is the Destiny equivalent of Horse Armor, except it costs $20 ($35 for those who pre-ordered the "expansions") instead of $5. It adds, essentially, absolutely nothing besides another means for you to buy micro-transaction items.

Dec 6, 2017Beautiful setpieces and art design as to be expected but offers nothing to the core gameplay of Destiny 2 or the story. It doesn't fix any of the glaring issues of the game and is just more Destiny. More recycled content, reused areas, the strikes are literally a part of the story and the majority of new content is in microtransactions. Don't buy this if you haven't already.

-
Dec 6, 2017The story is interesting but short. My D2 Guardian is still weak and boring by D1 standards. Player feedback still unfixed 3 months in. Playable trailer to sell loot boxes.
-
Dec 8, 20172 Hours of content, everything else is in the cash shop. Bungie is failing hard. This DLC will kill Destiny 2. They also removed content from the base game that you already payed for and locked it behind the DLC.
-
Dec 6, 2017Incredible visual, sound, and musical work wasted on an extraordinarily dull, lifeless player experience. Unfortunately, Bungie seems to have forgotten how to make a game that's enjoyable to play.
-
Dec 7, 2017
-
Dec 7, 2017Not impressed. Bungie, if you want to sell loot boxes then please make a game that people actually want to play. A Bright Engram chase is not the right way because it is too disconnected from moment-to-moment gameplay rewards. I did not play Destiny 1 and have enjoyed Destiny 2 but am running out of reasons to log in. This expansion does not help.
-
Dec 7, 2017Taking away content that was already paid for, the greed train continues it's journey. Amazing that Bungie hasn't learned anything in 2 months but I suppose no one really thought they would.
-
Dec 7, 2017This is the worst Destiny DLC and quite honestly the worst video gaming experience I've ever had. It's short, repetitious to the extreme, filled with E grade writing and as per usual is Bungie reusing assets at its finest. This DLC completely put me off playing Destiny let alone ever buying DLC for it again (and I put 2000+ hours in Destiny 1!). Avoid this like the plague.

Dec 6, 2017A two hour boring campaign, with more recycle guns and gear locked behind a boring grind, at this point you will have more fun playing destiny 1 . The art and the sound is amazing as always, next expansion maybe they will put the songs in the eveverse

Dec 7, 2017Absolute waste of money, the story missions are monotonous and boring. It looks as though the DLC is just pushing users to spend more money on silver to buy items from Tess.

-
Dec 7, 2017I never dreamed that they would cheat us, gamers, like that once again - this DLC is even worse than PoE, it's garbage - the amount of content is for 2 hours of game - it should be included with a 6-pack of beers, not cost 20 USD.

Dec 7, 2017Lack luster and uninspiring. This should have been included in the main game. Don't buy this. Spend your money on someone who deserves it better.
The story has nothing to do with the main game. It feels like this Dlc excise just because they need to have a Dlc so that they get more money from the player base. -

Dec 7, 2017Disappointed!!! A DLC that as is, is up there with House of Wolves as the worst Destiny add-on to date. It's a stop-gap solution meant to spackle some of the game's cracks, and the real coat of paint hasn't quite come yet. Destiny 2 is still a fantastic shooter at heart, Bungie just hasn't figured out how to actually incorporate all of the Frankensteined MMO parts.
-
Dec 7, 2017This update is being called DLC event it adds a little of content and minor improvement to the QoL and all serious problems this game have. I am idapointed ss a veterat Destiny player

Dec 7, 2017If you want cool stroy, addictive plot and good shooting in campaing then stay away from this DLC. Story is boring as **** easy and cheesy. Last boss is a joke (12 shots to kill, literally)
This DLC was released only to ripoff people who want's to play endgame Strikes and Raids, because it's the must for them. -
Dec 6, 2017It's not worth the money. The content you get feels more like a big update. Non of the community concerns about the game was addressed and fixed. We will see more people stop playing Destiny 2. It's a shame because the game have some much potential.

Playstation Official Magazine UKFeb 22, 2018Lacking content and doubling down on what's wrong with the vanilla game, Curse of Osiris is a lightweight grind and a missed opportunity to fix Destiny 2's faults. [Feb 2018, p.97]
-
Edge MagazineJan 9, 2018It still has much to do. But for the first time in a while, Destiny 2 players have finally been given something to be positive about. [Issue#315, p.116]

Jan 8, 2018Unless you’ve already bought this as part of a season pass, don’t waste your money on Curse of Osiris until Bungie actually changes direction, and I’m not talking about executing their proposed changes which painfully miss the mark yet again. The base game of Destiny 2 is a great shooter for 50-60 hours of solid content on your first play through of a redemptive story. But there is no endgame to keep going beyond that and there isn’t anything packaged into this DLC than enhances that initial experience. At this point, if you’re desperate for a looter/shooter then either fire up Destiny 1 again, watch Anthem videos on YouTube and hope for a brighter Q4 2018, or else maybe go give the Division a chance. It had a dumpster fire launch but can be had on the cheap now and I hear it’s become a very good game in its current state.
