    This is the best game in the world! The genius lived up to expectations! The plot and the play of the actors is beyond praise. Game mechanics are unique but after 20 hours it may seem monotonous but then you will realize that this is not so. One of the most significant games of the last decade!

    Death Stranding is a great experience for those people that are bored from shooting games and try to experience new things. It is not boring even when delivering cargos( which is what you are doing most of the time) because of its online aspect and problem solving journey. It gives you the satisfaction when you reach your goal.     This game isn't for everyone but i can say if you have paitence and want to understand it, the game is 100% worth the experiance. The core part take's a bit to get into treversing the world, and understanding the mechanic's so they don't frustrate you. The gameplay involve's delivering, but for the story to progress, it only require's small amount's. However, after 4-5 hour's you'll know if the game is for you, the world and the gorgeous soundtrack will draw you in, the suspense the game create's during moment's where BT's are present, specifically with headphone's is amazing, the out of nowhere BT bosses are so crazy, and super fun to fight. The cutscene's are beautiful, beyond brilliant, ultra realistic and the amount of detail in them is astonishing, the pore's, crease's in the lip's, every detail in the eye's, the lifelike expression's on each character's face, when they cry, their expression's are heartbreaking. Little BB is adorable and the game create's that bond, that's so hard to make for the player, but kojima did it with all of BB's little gesture's, when BB cry's it's very upsetting and being so attached later in game to sam. Loving and caring for a virtual character, even one as small as BB, but with such huge importance to the entire game. This game isn't perfect, but it's got so much love put into it, and it really shine's through, death stranding is beautiful, i believe the entire ride is worth it.… Expand

    This game is not for the people who play a game for 30 minutes then decide its boring and quit. This game is for those people who play games to experience something totally new and that feels real. This game sucks you in quick with the story which I was a big fan of. Besides the story which was overall a 10/10, I would also say the gameplay loop and traversal is also a 10/10. Moving your weight around and making sure to check what slopes are the best for traversal made me feel like I was hiking on vacation. I lost countless hours just wondering around building the interstate that leads from east coast to west coast. I loved everything about to ambiance of the game and how isolated you would feel. Some people would argue that there is nothing to interact with, where are all the people?! Well since its a scary time to go outside in America, it makes sense and the isolation feels very real. Sam as a character is great and at first he barely speaks his peace and mind. Then throughout the game he slowly starts to open up and connect with more and more people. In the end, this game captivated me from the very first cutscene to the end credits. I loved it and personally think people hate on this game just to hate. Now I like Kojima but before I played Death Stranding, I didn't think he was the creative genius everyone puts him out to be. But now after playing this masterpiece in storytelling and innovative gameplay, I am here to say I am going to buy whatever he makes next, no questions asked after what I experienced playing this game.… Expand

    Tengo que se honesto, al principio pensé que era un mal juego y me dejé llevar por comentarios de haters y niños rata, pero después de 3 horas de jugarlo me pareció sumamente adictivo, el juego te obliga a aprender mecánicas y los traslados se disfrutan bastante

    A masterpiece, but the delivery system and lack of action in the gameplay makes it a bit boring and tiring. However the best game on technical issues I've ever had the pleasure of playing and the ending fully compensates for the trajectory.

    Un juego diferente a lo que nos han vendido últimamente, la historia perfecta con su belleza visual y sonora el gameplay muy realista y tal vez ahí es donde peca pero se acopla bien a lo que quiere demostrar Kojima que es una sociedad que ayuda a los demás. Le doy un 10/10 por eso, por ser diferente a lo de siempre.

    Um Jogo Excelente e incrível, fazia muito tempo desde que eu joguei um jogo tão tocante e marcante, a historia dele e incrível e bem explicada isso pode depender de cada pessoa pois já ouviu de algumas que não conseguiram entender ela muito bem, a jogabilidade ela e um pouco complicada no começo, pode parecer um pouco confuso mais com o passar do tempo você se acostuma o mesmo vale para aUm Jogo Excelente e incrível, fazia muito tempo desde que eu joguei um jogo tão tocante e marcante, a historia dele e incrível e bem explicada isso pode depender de cada pessoa pois já ouviu de algumas que não conseguiram entender ela muito bem, a jogabilidade ela e um pouco complicada no começo, pode parecer um pouco confuso mais com o passar do tempo você se acostuma o mesmo vale para a Interface.     A highly misunderstood game, and one that's been unfairly attacked for doing something different. In a world of Free-to-play games, overly competitive shooters, esports, predatory business models, redundant franchises, monetization schemes, corrupt companies that ruin notable franchises... Death Stranding is one that breaks the mold in a good way, and is almost therapeutic by design.A highly misunderstood game, and one that's been unfairly attacked for doing something different. In a world of Free-to-play games, overly competitive shooters, esports, predatory business models, redundant franchises, monetization schemes, corrupt companies that ruin notable franchises... Death Stranding is one that breaks the mold in a good way, and is almost therapeutic by design. Anyone calling it a walking simulator, was unable to dive deeper, and for arguments sake it's not a walking simulator. Just because the focus is to walk, or climb, doesn't mean that's all there is too it, and it's a gross misclassification of a noble venture by it's Creator Hideo Kojima. Anyone who gave it a 0, didn't seriously play it, anyone calling it perfect, the game has it's flaws. I am thankful a game like this exists, and truly think it transcends the genre of video games, and will stand the test of time, as well as attacks on it's existence, and creators. Review: Death Stranding is truly a work of great care, the world is fantastic, and the struggle comes from simple things, like crossing a landscape, or taking on additional challenges on missions. It tells a fully unique story, about life, death, our political landscape, and what happens if we don't take care of the world around us. Boss battles are tense, the shooting mechanics are fun, and somewhat unique in their own way. Killing is not the objective here, but connecting, and being better than just an average killer. Killing can carry consequences in this world, and the world by design is treacherous. Nobody wants to venture out into the world, so it stands that the hero of this story is someone who is brave enough to battle the elements, as well as the undead, to ensure people have what they need to survive this post-apocalyptic dystopia. It's a beautiful concept, and is very under-appreciated by the current generation of gamers who seem to settle for cheap, quick thrills. Death Stranding does demand your attention, that you take your time with it, and learn about the world, it's origins, as well as your (Sam's) role in saving that world. There are flaws in the game, and without saying anymore about the game, here is a list of what I found to be the draws, and setbacks of Death Stranding. My NO SPOILERS Pros and Cons list:
    Pros:
    Graphics are something to behold, my mouth was open the whole time, it is stunning

    Acting -Top actors like Norman Reedus, and Lea Seydoux portray their respective characters, they do so well, and you really get drawn in by their performances

    Gameplay - Well thought out, you use the entire controller, this was carefully mapped out. The game is actually addicting. Anyone claiming it's just fetch quests think games are only one pattern, that you only fight, or shoot, and this is all they know. Games can be anything, Death Stranding reminds us of that - look up Paperboy for the original Nintendo if you don't know what I mean...

    Music - Original Soundtrack, as well as included artists, fit the world perfectly, the music is it's own awesome experience
    Sound Design - is absolutely delightful, the ruffling of clothing, sounds of vehicles, or machines, it's all crafted brilliantly to fit the game

    Cons:
    Redundant little scenes every mission (Pro: You can skip these if they grow tiresome)

    Pacing - this was my main problem with the game, while I enjoyed the story overall, I do feel like the pacing could've been handled a bit better. I think if you don't get sidetracked it's alright, but getting sidetracked is part of the fun as well. There's a balancing act with the pacing

    Lots and lots of reading - I like reading, and don't mind it in games, but some of the reading could've been better handled like audio records (Similar to MGSV), and this is where the pacing could've been handled better. Some of the reading you do fills in gaps in the story, it would've been better served spoken like in a podcast. Still plenty of story, but this is a downside for me personally. Small story bits that fell flat, or felt cringey/forced. They don't affect the overall story but I definitely didn't feel anything from specific performances.

    Sponsors/Commercialism - There is some commercialism in the game from brands, it's such a minute detail in the grand scheme, but worth mentioning. I believe if it had to be in there, it was done appropriately and probably helped fund the game. Verdict: 8.7
    Similar to a movie like Blade Runner, it stands alone, and does something unique. There is so much re-playability, content, unique addictive gameplay, a positive message, and a truly mind boggling story which takes it's time to really be understood. I hope more people play this game, and prove to game developers, we don't want the same 3 games over and over, we crave new experiences, and shouldn't be so spiteful when we get them. There are enough Marvel Movies out there, but not enough Blade Runners.

    A work of art, moving and beautiful, heart wrenching and devastating. It's unlike any game I've ever played before it. Even the few cornball moments were like an adorable nudge from Kojima. This is in my top 5 games and I've been playing for 24 years

    This game is so damn boring. I paid $60 and preordered this 2 years ago because it was a deal at the time. Just wait till psn store gives this for free because it's a piece of **** kojima is a narcissist, his name plastered all over the credits which play multiple times throughout the game. The graphics are nice but the design of the world is boring, just focks and terrain. DeliverThis game is so damn boring. I paid $60 and preordered this 2 years ago because it was a deal at the time.     Kojima does a fantastic job connecting people, and creating a very unique story. This is definitely one of those games where you will have emotions all over the place and the ending will leave you speechless. It is worth the investment even if it takes some time to get into.

    Мне продали пустую, претензионную альфа версию игры. С поломанными и не работающими механиками. С раздутым сюжетом уложить который можно было бы в 2-3 часа. Абсолютная бездарность и симулятор пропуска кат сцен в душе.

    Glorified walking simulator. I expected a lot more from Hideo Kojima, who created the extremely well-made series Metal Gear (specifically Metal Gear Solid). A glorified package delivering/walking simulator is what I got. Really disappointed.

    Death Stranding is creating a new game genre and therefore paves its own path towards more interactive experiences. It is a brave work thanks to its novelty, which fortunately is not a bragging right for its creators, as it may have seemed, but an exceptional title that will reward the brave who play it.     This game does manage to be fun, even if it is one of the heaviest experiences of 2019. Everything from story to gameplay is begging to be dissected, filled with imagery and symbolism -- just like so many Kojima games before this one. Entering Death Stranding, it’s likely that we all thought Kojima’s calling card was lengthy cutscenes and stealth and action gameplay.

    Death Stranding stands as a powerful author’s game which drives a strong message of how our over-connected society is evolving, and how we can help other players. Unlike many AAA games, it shines on a truly spiritual level. Well written, engaging and visually magnificent, it offers, despite some pacing flaws, an astonishing solo game with elegant multiplayer elements. A unique representation of Hideo Kojima’s talent.
