    This game is all about time you have 72 hours (in game time is faster then real time) to solve every thing about the Willamette zombie outbreak.but things go a little wrong and now your stuck in a mall with hundreds of zombies and have to gather info from the remaining survivors. But not every ones all there and you'll have to fight them for items,info and to progress. This game does have issues though like survivor AI being unbearable but survivors are optional, also this will be a hard game it took me it took me several days beating the game because i had to restart do to not being a high enough level to beat the bosses, but dead rising does have a feature were you can keep your level and restart. If this does not sound appealing i recommend dead rising 2.… Expand

    Best Dead Rising ever Made. Now in PS4! ,Great history, excelent gameplay , this game is FAAAAANTASTIC. Buy it, its really good...........................

    A great game.
    After the questionable Dead Rising 3, I just wanted to play the start of the series, where everything was actually tame and serious. And fun at that. Now you can play it at a smooth 60fps and 1080p.

    Game muito original pra época personagens interessantes e história realmente boa, gráficos muito bonitos mesmo na versão remasterizada, jogabilidade um pouco travada mas nada de tão grave.

    It has never been so intense from walking one place to another. crazy and the way the game pacing is amazing in the beginning. You are nothing you are baby. You can barely even touch a zombie but the more levels you get the better you become and you can to make wrestling moves on them when you keep till 30 and 40. It's really intense and fun. The way you have to remember where all the weapons and health items are, and All The Psychopath fight it just all comes together in a really good Union where you mind keeps track of everything and remember. Where are the best healing spots and weapons spawn. My only problem are in the last half of the game. I feel like there weren't enough said things to do. I kind of run out of them and had to waste time by killing zombies and getting XP. Big is amazement. What's the story was good and I really like the main character Frank he doesn't feel like an bully an idiot anything to feels really compassion in this game in the later half.… Expand

    I played the original 360 version back when it was released in 2006, now I've always been a PlayStation guy but Dead Rising made me buy a 360 back in the day, now we have it on PS4 and it's just as great as it once was, the improved resolution and frame rate is a pleasure. Just as good as it was in 2006!

    One of the most fun sandbox zombie games out there. How you can pickup literally anything and use it as a weapon and the sheer amount of zombie is insane. It's great fun but the pacing in the end is a little strange, the ending in general. Not the ending specific, but to get there. Maybe that's just me, but it's only my opinion, not a fact.

    Wacky and crazy at times, Dead Rising was so much fun on the Xbox360 and I am glad it has made its way to ps4. The sheer difficulty of the game as you level up is what made me want to keep playing. Along with the sandbox nature, and being able to use anything as a weapon. Dead Rising will forever be one of my most favorite games.

    Absolute classic, one of my old favorites. The time limit makes for a fun way to encourage replayability. Be warned though, this is not a remaster or remake or anything. This is just the original game on a newer system, all of the jankiness included. Don't expect smooth gameplay and do expect a couple of crashes here and there. Still worth it for the gameplay and charisma of Frank West, though.

    A unique and very special game. I'm glad Capcom dared to make such a fun zombie sandbox with time mechanics. The charisma of all the characters and the dye of series B, make a super fun game. The music, the physics and the design of the shopping center reflect the care that the team put into designing the product. It's a shame that the series became generic and soulless and that theyA unique and very special game. I'm glad Capcom dared to make such a fun zombie sandbox with time mechanics.     Dead Rising was never a great game — it’s perverse and didactic in equal measure, and an exciting concept delivered with almost no artistry or craft. Why not put in a little extra effort to fix it, rather that just running it on superior hardware? The sequels offer a clear roadmap for the experience that Dead Rising could have been, but apparently Capcom had no interest in following it. It’s too bad, because even as a budget title, this reissue is just too rough to recommend.

    Combined with beat ‘em up gameplay and hundreds of different items to use against the hordes, the series’ best psycopath bosses and mall setting and a ton of endings and secrets, Dead Rising still holds up today for both newcomers to the franchise and returning fans like me indulging in some gory nostalgia.

    The original Dead Rising is a fantastic start for this zombie beat'em sandbox series and this new release is now the ultimate version and a good reason to pick it up.
