    How to play this game? It's full of bugs. 15 fps in the city. Who can pay money for this? It's not waste 60 dollars... PS3 graphics at the end of 2020 year. Maybe this game can be 9/10 or 10/10, but it's impossible to see anything just because of bugs and fps, and 900x resolution. Not waste your money on this, please.

    I don't remember the last time I played such bugged game. Full of graphical issues, glitches, fps drops and game breaking bugs which you can't pass. Huge disappointment on this overhyped game. Don't buy it.

    The matter is, this is a PS4 game. It's not specifically a PS4 Pro game, it isn't a PS5 game (yet). The game was supposed to target the base PS4 and anything beyond that was supposed to just be an improvement. The performance of this game isn't just unacceptable for this game, it simply isn't acceptable for any game.

    Absolutely unacceptable to launch a game in this state after delaying the multiple times and citing "to improve performance on consoles" as your reason. The game is literally unplayable while you are out in the open world just running around or in your car driving around.

    Disaster, so many bugs that i cant even play properly. They have planned this game for ps4 so long, and its not playable bcuz of glitches, bad animation, freezing and other bad stuff.
    Never seen anything like that before in my almost 20 years of playing games.

Серьезно, игра выглядит словно не лучший проект со времён ps 3, тени, освещение, мыло, текстуры, разрешение 720, а по ощущением порой и ниже, всё просто ужасно. Удивительно, как сони вообще допустила такой продукт к продаже, а ещё более удивительно и омерзительно, что он до сих пор в продаже, уже когда мошенничество, а по другому это не назвать,вскрылось для всех пользователей. Теперь уже стало очевидно, что на уходящем поколении просто решили срубить бабла, задачи сделать хотя бы более менее играбельную версию не стояло, не терять же такую потребительскую базу. Добавлю, что искренне рад за тех ПК игроков, кому удается насладиться этой видимо хорошей игрой. Не буду говорить о технических багах и постоянных вылетах, их и в недавней вальгалле было много, это не приятно очень конечно, но в целом терпимо. Что же мы имеем в итоге. Некогда народная компания СДПР, на деле лишь играла в Робин Гуда, но не являлась таковым. Под лживые заверения, что игра работает на младших консолях хорошо и тщательном скрытии реального положения дел они выкатывают вот это. Со многим можно смириться, такова человеческая природа, но не с таким откровенным ушатом грязи, который на тебя выливают. СДПР показывают в своей игре компании типа Арасаки, что же СДПР, теперь вы в высшей лиге, теперь вы одна из них, где-то на одном пьедестале с еа, вот только медалей вы не получите. Пока СДПР подсчитывают баснословные предзаказы, консольные игроки жуют свои дуалшоки и даже элит контроллеры, а СДПР продолжает трусливо отмалчиваться по данной ситуации, наверное ожидая на сколько сильным будет взрыв общественности. Кто виноват в данной ситуации, маркетологи, акционеры итд., меня как игрока заплатившего за неиграбельный предзаказ деньги, мало волнует. Мое доверие к данной студии полностью подорвано и окончательно его уже не восстановить никогда, и всё что мне ещё остаётся сказать, все что у меня есть и что в моих силах это- ПОЗОР вам СДПР.… Expand

    Not playable, don't buy it on consoles. On the PS5 you will have the PS4 Pro version, that somewhat better, but anyway awful.

    I have never seen such a disastrous game. Everything on ps4 is bad: graphics, frame rate, resolution, textures, everything from the bottom to the top. This should never be on the shelves in stores. CDPR shame on you. Well done for becoming new EA.

They promised a living-breathing city and what we got was an empty wasteland full of dumb generic zombies. NPC's have the AI of a ps2 game. Traffic has no AI whatsoever. The driving itself feels like GTA Vice City. Clothes are awful to say the least.     It breaks my heart to write this, but the game is broken for consoles. Even if CD fixs it, the game was supposed to be perfect (on performance), and after 8 months of delayment, this is what we have. I'm just disappointed. (The game is f*cking amazing but covered with SEVERAL technical issues. Surely I'll give a higher grade when gets better (if so)

    Boring buggy unfinished trash, avoid at all costs. Poor mans borderlands (looter shooter) with even worse driving, npcs are lifeless open world is a hallway full of locked doors. Repetitive Mmo fetch quests.

    This is my worst AAA experience on PS4 ever. Blurry 720p low res graphics, with FPS drops to 15, which gave me headaches after each hour of playing. Totally disappointed of PS4 version... 0/10 Unplayable!

    Before I even played the game my mouse curse had a mind of its own in the character customization. I was trying to change boob size but ended up changing something else. Didn't think anything about it until I started the game. The game does this on its own during regular play making aim impossible. I tried to play anyway. It really hurts me to realize that the creators of the legendary "the Witcher 3" could release the game in this form (this is essentially the level of the pre-alfa version). I don't believe this is real, it's just some kind ofCDPR really did the impossible! They lowered the bar so low that they even surpassed fallout 76. This is the worst thing that came out on the ps 4 of all time. I really can't understand how it's passable. I really wanna play this game but I can't because my eyes is bleeding when I play to your game more than 10 minutes. Even if they manage to fix bugs and performance, the NPC interaction is such a step backward for the open-world genre. I have video evidence of how poor the open world of this game is. There's no dynamic elements orI have put a couple of hours in on ps5 and it is an absolute disaster. The game is so blurry, there are many bugs, frame drops in the city, and there is tons of pop-in. Even if they manage to fix bugs and performance, the NPC interaction is such a step backward for the open-world genre. I have video evidence of how poor the open world of this game is.     The combat and UI was totally designed around pc and not with console in mind. It's so cluttered and so floaty with the controller.

    It ultimately seems like that this game for console was a complete cashgrab. Not to mention they hid reviews for the console version. Even if they fix everything, the game itself outside of the soundtrack, main quests, and art style, is not good.

    Cyberpunk 2077 is .....AWESOME! The graphics are astonishing, the voice acting is on point and the story, although quite generic in my opinion, is enjoyable. The combat system is interesting, like nothing complicated nor too simple, and the choices you can make in the game give you a pleasant experience. Personally, as a pc gamer, I don't have any big problem with cyberpunk. Yes, there are some glitches here and there but they are not so bad that they distract you from the game. Plus let's not forget that these are minor problems that can be fixed in a future patch. AND FOR YOU PS 4 GAMERS.....the game is supposed to run well with ps5 and the next-gen consoles in general. So you can just wait until they can fix ps4 issues. Do not blame the game if your consol cant run it. After all, you have a 7-8 years old gen play station. However, since this game is developed by CD Projekt RED, I decided to trust my favourite game developer. And, man, have I made a mistake.

    I went into this game already expecting bugs. And the game does have    I have been an avid gamer since Diablo II, and this has been the first time ever that I preordered a game. Usually I am cautious of preorders, because of generally known reasons. However, since this game is developed by CD Projekt RED, I decided to trust my favourite game developer. And, man, have I made a mistake.

    I went into this game already expecting bugs. And the game does have bugs, no doubt. However, none of them bothered me too much. After 2 hours of play time the game crashed once, but this was also no big deal, since automatic saves are common and therefore, I didn’t lose any progress at all. Plus, the loading times aren’t too bad either, at least compared to the Witcher 3.

    Before I started up my big ol’ PS4, I already saw headlines mentioning some players to be disappointed with the game on old consoles. However, since nowadays everyone feels entitled to everything and anything, and people (especially gamers) act like spoiled **** I gave these headline the benefit of doubt. And wanted to experience it for myself.

    Oh... Man….

    As I said, I don’t mind the bugs so much, as they are not game breaking. And can be fixed fairly soon. However, I have never, ever, seen a AAA game so badly perform on my PS4 (or anywhere else for that matter):
    - Textures and NPCs sometimes need several seconds to load.
    - Objects need several seconds to load. I once took a left turn to get to Lizzy’s Bar and hit an obstacle – an invisible obstacle. 2 seconds later, a WHOLE **** BRIDGE appears right above me. And it turned out I hit one of its massive pillars.
    - The framerate is straight laughable. I do not need 60fps. But stuttering gameplay?
    - The resolution is a joke. It is so bad that I have to squint and get closer to the screen in order to see what button I have to press, because the button icons are too small and blurred.

    These flaws are so vast and omnipresent, that it makes the game unplayable.

    Look, Cyberpunk 2077 is mainly about three things: Having a **** kick ass story, having a beautiful and immersive world, and being an RPG.
    The elements of the story and RPG are definitely there. But the world? Man…. The city is so empty, it feels like on Covid-Lockdown. So what if the city looks nice at night (because it does, the general graphics aren’t bad at all), if there are no inhabitants on the streets to make it feel alive and create this immersion, which is so important for this game? I do not need **** motion blur, 4K, and other stuff. I just want a good running game, that, as advertised for years, is super **** immersive. I didn’t expect any technical revelations on the PS4. But I wanted to feel Night City. Which I do not.
    Right now, as much is it hurts to say, I must conclude that the game experience on the, in terms of market share, still extremely relevant base PS4 is abysmal.

    CDPR straight up IGNORED all console versions, because right now there is no console version running well, or running as promised to us, while giving us that overhyped Cyberpunk-feel and immersion. The next-gen consoles don’t even have a next-gen update yet – coming some time in 2021. Thus, only the PC version runs well. What has CDPR been doing during the last 7 years and since April? Optimization for old console generations my ass. How could they neglect the older console on such a massive scale? - and consoles in general for that matter. Because, even if I had a PS5, the game would still look like on PS4Pro – for months to come! The game was supposed to come out in April first, so initially it wasn’t even meant to be a next-gen game. WTF? Isn’t around 40% of the player base using consoles? And if yes, isn’t the majority of them also using base- and PS4 Pros’, since the PlayStation5 still seems to be an urban myth? That is straight screwing and ignoring almost half your player base.
    Now I can wait at least half a year to properly play the game, since I 1) have to get the legendary PS5 and 2) wait for the next-gen patch.
    And then, to cover up the **** optimization for the base consoles, CDPR doesn’t reveal or let any footage be revealed of these. What. A. ****. Dick. Move. I would have expected strategies of that sort from EA, but not from CDPR.

    I just cannot fathom how CDPR had the audacity to release such a crap product. I paid 70€ for an unfinished and unplayable game. I cannot even express my disappointment with this company. Straight up **** me and my PS4. CD Projekt RED, the ones who were supposed to be different than all those other greedy **** publishers. I can’t even imagine how CDPR isn’t ashamed of itself. **** I, as a former fan, definitely am ashamed on behalf of them. “With the patch, Cyberpunk is a different game on console” – yeah, no **** compared to the PC version I bet it is.

The character has no animation to pick up items, plunder enemy bodies or open doors. The physics is horrible, the character climbs on top of the Npcs cars, the car moves and the character does not react. I playing video games since the 90s and Cyberpunk 2077 is the biggest disappointment I've ever had in gaming history. My English can be bad to write this review, but Cyberpunk 2077 can be worse than that.    … Expand

    It's ok that old Gen can't keep up with a highend PC. But withholding review copies of base PS4 and xBox while telling gamers that they run "surprisingly well" is downright fraud. Even Watchdogs Legions manages to produce a populated city with lots of traffic/pedestrians and decent graphics. Michael does Life was right about this.

    For me it’s GTAV x Fallout vibe and the story is awesome. Open world is huge and it’s everything that I’ve imagined. Waiting for a patch though to fully enjoy it on PS4 as there are many bugs but still: nothing that would deserve a 0 rating.

    I know that graphics are uneven but it’s nothing that cannot be fixed, and despite that the game is really amazing. The open world is huge and impressing. If you are grumpy you can wait till some new patch but I just don’t mind and enjoy fully the game.

    Ich vergleiche dieses Spiel mit RDR2, und muss sagen... scheisse ist das schlecht was CD RED dort hingeklatscht hat.
    Ein unfertiges Spiel nach 8 Jahren Entwicklung...
    CD Project Red, ihr seid absolut nicht besser als die ganzen anderen geldgierigen Drecksstudios!
    Vielleicht spricht aus mir mehr die Wut und Enttäuschung statt Sachlichkeit, aber Fakt ist, Cyberpunk auf der PS4Pro ist nicht Spielbar!!!
    Die wirklich gigantische Anzahl an Bugs und das Gefühl ein absolut unfertiges, unpoliertes Spiel zu spielen, macht dieses Erlebnis zu einer der größten Enttäuschungen in der Videospielhistorie,

    I'm playing the game on ps5 so it's the ps4 pro version really. When the game is working it's great but there's so many BUGS!!! The game has CRASHED on me 5 TIMES ALREADY!!! The frame rate is not bad but I'm on ps5 so I have headroom. CD ProjectRed HAS to get the NEXT-GEN version right! I can't in good conscience give this game even a decent rating because of ALL of it's issues!

    The PS4 and Xbox One version is impossible to play and unacceptable, CD totally lied about how the current generation runs the game, low resolution, frame rate locked at 20fps, numerous bugs, a very uncomfortable blur on the screen causing nausea. If, technically, it was not possible to launch it on the consoles of the previous generation, do not launch it instead of delivering this garbage.

    I can forgive a lot but... yesterday my main quest crashed and today I had 2 blue death screen!
    There is a lot of issues, small bugs or glitches. Like cops spawn behind you.

    I believe in CDP, this could be a good game, but not on PS4, period. The game is unplayable.

    Game is just unplayable. Awful, blurry image on my PS4 and around 15fps while driving a car. Happily, no critical bugs or crashes, just some small bugs in animation in cut scenes. I understand, console hardware is very old but it doesn't mean that we deserve this mess. It's not right to make AAA-game just for top and expensive PCs. We need all problems to be repaired or refund

    Love it! The graphics aren't too good, even on a PS5. But I like the story and most of the mechanics ;)

    Yesterday was a day to forget. I've "played" the game for few hours on a PS4 Pro and the experience was horrible.
    The framerate is so unstable, very unconfortable to play like this. There are a lot of bugs. And I mean, A LOT. The image quality it is just bad for the game everyone was expecting.

    One of the most sad things of all this is the fact that CDProjekt new all this problems and they never advised the people about it.     Blatant false advertising. Stopped reviewers from showing how **** the base console version is, so that people don't cancel preorders. Avoid this game on ps4/xbox one

    I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive.     Cyberpunk 2077 is a game brimming with potential, and it damn near reaches it on so many occasions, but the pitfalls of its development ultimately drag it down. There's still a lot to like here for RPG fans and lovers of the genre, but it's far from the generation-defining masterwork that the world was waiting for.
