    8 years for this? Wow. I honestly feel like this has to be the most hyped of game of all time. What a let down. Story is only reason this gets a 3. Could easily give this a 1 but am too kind.

But I can’t because they are impossible to get for under $1000. The ps4 can run red dead redemption 2 without so much as a god damn hiccup but cyber punk is too much? **** This is no way to release a game and would have waited a year or more if needThis game is just straight up broken on ps4.     CDPR, why you selling alpha version? 15 fps, 720p and low pc spec on console? Crash every 10 minutes playing game and more bugs. You could push the release date of the console version or mark it as Early Access (though not Steam). Do not just say that the hardware is weak, on the last generation of consoles there are quite beautiful and well-developed games. Even the witcher was better optimized

Textures take forever to pop in so you're left staring at these blurry blobs that are actually important NPCs or vehicles. The FPS is like around 20 consistently. It's hard to imagine a greater failure and disappointment from a developer I previously adored. This game should have been canceled on PS4/XB1 and made only for next gen and high end PCs but CDPR wanted to cash in first so they took our money and gave us this piece of garbage. Apart from the graphics and performance issues, the AIs are dumb, the city is lifeless, no barber shop or anyway to customize your hairstyle, make or tattoo after the character creation at the start....     Upset that they have restrictions on romance people but other than that game is great on ps5 hardly any problems feel bad for others who don’t get to experience this greatness. Others are just last of us stans which are just like Trump fans. They are the ones giving it 0s tell them to cry harder. Game is amazing can’t wait to see and play more!

Yes, I meet bugs (thank God quite rarely, or I'm already used to it:)), the game is poorly optimized and it's sad. Because of the large credit of trust, because these are the developers of the greatest "The Witcher 3", the coolest production,I played the game for just over 16 hours.     Some people actually expected it to be good? When i watched this final trailer and they said that it will be "Next Generation of Open World Games" i already knew it's **** Nothing in these trailers looked extremely new or never done before.

    Shame on CDPR for releasing the game in this state and for lying to the fans. Everything was a calculated lie. Should have cancelled my pre order when I saw they didn't allow reviewers to show actual footage. Will never buy any of their games again.

    Что на PS4 pro, что на PS5 это полный трэш. Ушел проходить хоть где-то через G-Force now, версия для консолей "ДАВАЙДОСВИДАНИЯ". Жаль, что вернуть нельзя дисковую версию, спасибо за 3 бумажки и наклейки за 4000 рублей)

    Doesn't work on the PS4. Crashes, glitches and plays just enough so that you exceed the 2 hour limit before realising the game is **** and you can't get a refund. Well done marketing team of CDPR you did a great job selling a game that doesn't exist

    Bought it for my PS4 fatboi yesterday, averaged around 20 fps at what looked like 720p which made it effectively unplayable, driving around Night City was like a powerpoint slideshow. The fact that this game was released in this state just boggles my mind.

    The game is so overrated. It definitely doesn’t deserve the hype nor the wait. It’s so buggy, the quality is very low and not a smooth ride. Not to mention the awful storytelling and sequences. Definitely don’t recommend.

Even with that I don’t hold out much hope for it. Games like this are supposed to look beautiful. The background stuff like furniture, rubbish etc look just so generic. Оптимизация нюхает бэбру. Ближний бой- позор. РПГ составляющая, заставляет меня плакать от разочарования. Судя по продукту, который я получил, игру делали полгода. Это больЗаплатил за альфа-тест.     Unplayable mess. Graphics are like a ps2 game. Very bad Performance, frame drops, blurry Vision, long loading Texturen and a Lot of crashes. Played it for 4 hours and had 4 crashes. Worst decision to Trust CD project RED and to buy the 200 Euro CE. Dont buy it for current gen. Its just a mess

    The police spawn out of nowhere.
    The ai is dumb as a rock.
    There is no ai for cars, they just follow a pre programmed path.
    The bugs, the crashes, would give it a negative if I could.

    Tested it on base ps4, it's just ugly and unplayable, with frame drops to 15 fps.
    Visuals are ugly.
    It's good I have a pc, but even on it, rx580 never hits 60 1080p even on minimal preset.
    Just terrible disappointing.

    Quedas bruscas de frame rate, gráficos mal otimizados e baixa qualidade de texturas.

In other words, its a **** show. streets are empty. And by empty I mean deserted. Street lamps break when barely touched. You can't jump out of your car, it stop automatically. Oh and did I mention the fps? What a joke! i feel bad for original ps4 owners as well as original xbox one owners. I just can't believe sony and microsoft approuved this game to be release on the consoles that were meant to be release on.
    Bugs and glitches aren't the only problem I encountered.
    The gameplay is so bad, enemies require an entire loaded pistol in order to be killed.
    Driving is horrible, car physics are probably non-existent.
    The animation on npc's face are so clunky. Everytime i got out of my car all i see are pixelated humanoids.
    7 years. 7 f***ing years and for what?
    A 100+Gb game that require additional updates to run properly at 30 pfs.

    El juego está pésimamente optimizado para el ps4, muchos dirán que es por los gráficos pero con juegos como red dead redemption 2 o The Last of us part II no existen estos problemas ya que incluso llegan a ser superiores a cyberpunk gráficamente. Otro elemento importante es el numero de bugs que ocurren en el juego, si bien en todos los juegos existen, aquí es excesivo como aparecen,El juego está pésimamente optimizado para el ps4, muchos dirán que es por los gráficos pero con juegos como red dead redemption 2 o The Last of us part II no existen estos problemas ya que incluso llegan a ser superiores a cyberpunk gráficamente. But this is Rockstar. So what about CD Projekt Red's history? How would they handle a last gen port of a demanding open world game?

    Cyberpunk 2077 is a next gen/PC title crammed on last gen hardware. CDPR has mostly done PC ports with a console port coming out the following year. (Witcher 2, 2011 on PC, the following year, a console port was released). Witcher 3 was the first AAA title CDPR handled with console platforms at launch, it struggled but it worked and improved with patches.

    Cyberpunk 2077's PS4 port barely runs at 25fps, dipping to 15, at a resolution from 900p to 720p. The game was clearly meant to run on a PC and benefits from a PS4 Pro. However, while the PS4 is becoming outdated, good games can be optimized for its hardware like S-M Miles Morales, which looks gorgeous. It takes the right kind of time and experience to make a console port work. CDPR did not have the experience and its awful crunch and hectic development cycle has harmed the developers from making a polished product for the console market. The game should not have been released on PS4/Xbox One AT ALL. It runs and feels like a switch port with horrible draw distance, buggy models and your character's private parts clipping through the clothes.

    What CDPR as a studio has done to its developers, I don't fully know, but it clearly was not handled well after 4 delays and a lack of proper assessment of how the game would run.
    A few things could have been done

    -Delay the game not 4 times, but a full year. Spring/Summer 2021
    The game is polished on last gen, and there's enough time for an enhanced port on next gen later that year for the holiday season.
    -If the game did not perform acceptably on last gen, it should not have been sold at all.
    Next gen/PC should have been prioritized.

    But no. When the company prioritizes sales over the performance of a port/game, they have betrayed the trust of their own developers who are crunched exhausting hours to meet their demands, and the consumer who spend their money on a product that is promised to play, and the game is far from finished.

    It is clear the game has a lot of ambition, ideas and gameplay. However, in this state, the studio has failed its developers, the hard workers who made their vision come true for the sake of profit because they likely knew the console market would sell like hot cakes for the winter season.

    To the developers at CDPR and Cyberpunk 2077, I am so sorry for the stress and time this has caused you. The game is buggy on PC, according to what I've seen/from what my friends have played, but it looks much better. I hope this situation teaches AAA studios to not crunch developers over unreasonable demands of high performance games not performing well on outdated console hardware.

    I truly hope another AAA title never results in this situation ever again. I give this a low score not to demean the developers, but the executives in charge who made this port available for sale.    … Expand

It looks like a last gen game that was ahead of its time, but it came out this week.

    Positives: The shooting and guns are the best part.

    Cons:
    1) Bugs Galore, and it crashes around 1 time per hour.
    2) Graphics look outdated even for a PS4 game, it looks very last gen. The NPC's all look like plastic.
    3) Proportions of the environment seem small, I don't know it just doesn't feel like I'm in a huge city most of the time, everything seems small and cartoonish, I imagined being high up and having epic gun fights in dangerous places we could fall. But I'm not overwhelmed in any away from the size of the city. It just feels like the proportions and the movement don't give it justice. It might have been better if the map was smaller and the environment/buildings were bigger and taller.
    4) Nothing cinematic about the story. It's just another open world where NPC's are all standing in one spot and you run up to them to activate story. I'm tired of playing open worlds where you constantly just get phone calls and then you have to go up to an NPC to activate the story. I wish NPCs felt more realistic and behaved as if they were pushing a story onto you, kind of like a mix of cinematic heavy rain elements with action decision making. I would prefer for there to be less NPC interactions and instead more cinematic and choreographed story beats. Think about it, in real life you cant just run up to strangers and talk to them all the time, there should be a moment where random NPC's get hostile at you for constantly talking to them. NPCs need to feel more modern.
    5) Sound and Music seem so bland. I'm reminded of Rage 2 from a lot of the sound queues.
    6) Swords and Knives make squishy sounds and they don't ever make metallic sounds and their animations and combos are basic as hell.
    7) The Driving doesn't have its own identity. They could have spent a lot more time changing how travelling is done, like upgrading parkour abilities, climbing, and more jumping attacks. Metros, trains, and high speed air taxis could have been so much better. Even fast travelling could have been cooler from what they are offering now. I really imagined myself being above ground most of the game.
    8) The world is missing a sense of innocence. What I mean is there is no contrast in the universe and or the characters. There's no relationships that feel authentic nor there is a sense of fragility within the characters. There's nothing sympathetic about anyone in this story, they are all just rough criminals. I would have preferred playing as a cop or a detective with loved ones and something tying him/her down to why we wan't to live and for whom. There is nothing that makes me care about this ticking time bomb, nor does anything in the story make me truly feel like I'm in the future; it honestly feels like a generic story super imposed in a future setting but there's no WOW moment. The dialogue could be less on the surface and more profound.
    9) There is no memorable antagonist or moments that feel like there is a real pending doom or a big story. This game really does feel tied down to generic open world mechanics with a generic quest map and nothing incredible in story. I expected a real epic story but ended up with just a map filled with exclamation marks.
    10) The shooting is the best part of this game but there is missed potential on how we can use technology to defend ourselves. Imagine all types of armors and devices that can block or absorb bullets and deflect robots. Anything futuristic would make this game more of an RPG but it always just goes back to the generics of an FPS. Borderlands 3 has better armors.
    11) The UI is low res, feels like a PC UI, every-time I use the UI it pauses the game and brings you out of the moment, I wish the UI was connected with my character better and it didn't pause the game but instead was a gaming component. The organisation could have been better same thing with the sound design behind it.
    12) I wish I had more abilities in fighting, and more abilities to travel and jump around the buildings. Missed opportunities with the swords and melee combat.    … Expand

    I don't believe that our "beloved" Cdpr launched this game for the ps4...and the ceo claimed that it "runs surprising good on the current gen consoles ..I won't talk about the glitches and bugs..ok maybe these will be fixed some time in the future but this game is unplayable..but those graphics and the rendering is just funny that ps2 environment is all over again

    Playing on PS5 BC PS4 version and works great. Solid 60fps and graphics look next gen, can’t wait for the full PS5 upgrade.

CD Projekt Red can't give the excuse that the Xbox One | S | X | is not capable of running at a constant 1080p 30fps, for example Red Dead Redemption 2 runs at a constant 1080p 30FPS, so the console can run decently looking games but CD Projekt Red underestimated the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 with disgusting performances, it seems like the game is running on a Nintendo Switch. i don't recommend this game at the moment, if they decide to make an update and make it look like Red Dead Redemption 2 or even the Last of Us 2 I would change my mind and recommend but this game is not good for current gen consoles if you have a next gen console or a high end PC this game is great and runs well and I would recommend on newer and powerful hardware but for the Xbox One and Playstation 4 they could've handle it better, for the game to be fun and playable just like Spider-Man 2018, RDR 2, TLOU 2. And story is a bit lackluster but that's not a big issue because multiplayer is coming soon. I don't even care about the story, since the performance is so unbearable.     Don't believe these low score reviews. I'm playing on a base model PS4 and i've had minimal bugs. So far i'm enjoying the story and gameplay. Gameplay is pretty fun lots of varied weapons to find, i'm a sucker for color loot weapons. Character design is quite detailed! Story mode so far is varied with interesting side quests.     Absolutely appalling that this trash was released in this state. CDPR hiding and taking down all footage was cynical in the extreme and we all know why they were doing it now.

    It looks worse than a PS3 game, crashes constantly and runs like 15fps if you're lucky. DO NOT BUY THIS JANK!!!

    What a pure dissapointment. This game needed 10 more years to be what they promised and advertised. The only customization left is ur character but u can’t see that because they removed third person cutscenes. In the opening they say u can live the rich live, yet u will always keep living in the slums because they removed appartments. So much got cut...this game isn’t worth 1% of the hype.

If you ignore all that, an issue remains: this game does not run well, it doesn´t even run all right or even passably. In the linear scenes 30 fps are rarely achieved and when free roaming through night city... I've seen PowerPoint presentations running smoother than some of cyberpunk 2077s set pieces.

    After 20 hours I just gave up, the issues in this game made my experience unbearable and tedious. Perhaps in 6 months, after several patches I`ll give this game another chance. For now I cannot decide which gives me the worse nightmares: how cyberpunk might have played on consoles if it were released in April of this year or the sound of a 2013 PS4 Fat running this game.    … Expand

    This game is just a janky The OuterWorlds. Gunplay is sloppy with enemies acting like bullet sponges. Weapons have no kick to them, melee plays like Kingdom Come Deliverence, weapons dont feel like they connect with enemies. Obviously loads of technical issues as well.

    To many bugs and poor graphics quality. Impossible to drive around town since the framerate plummets. This game is impossible to play but gets 3 for potential, since the little I have played seem to be promising aspects of the game. Hoping a lot improves over the next weeks since I won't be picking up the game again before some time next year.

    The bugs are not the only issue with this game. This game is absolute garbage beyond compare. No character customization, no AI driving (all cars are on rails with people in them), police that spawn 5 feet away from you after a crime (because they can't drive up), this game is just SHOCKINGLY bad.

    I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive.     Cyberpunk 2077 is a game brimming with potential, and it damn near reaches it on so many occasions, but the pitfalls of its development ultimately drag it down. There's still a lot to like here for RPG fans and lovers of the genre, but it's far from the generation-defining masterwork that the world was waiting for.
