    While the premise is fantastic, the execution is atrocious. To expect people to pay full price for a game which is virtually unplayable on day one is laughable.     This is a good game. But it's not optimized at all on legacy consoles. Either the route had to be optimized, or not released at all on the previous generation consoles.

    Looks bad, plays worse, buggy AF. Its unbelievable that CDPR realease a game in this state. Looks worse than GTA on PS3. If CDPR don't have the technical capability of optimizing this game for consoles they should've drop them, instead of selling this.
    This game is only playable on a $2000 or more PC., and eve then is not worth it, nothing more than a futuristic buggy GTA.

    The state that this game released in is absolutely disgusting and needs to be called out. Its literally unplayable. Crashes are frequent, bugs are everywhere and overall fps is miserable. I don't care if they are going to fix this in 3 months or so I pre ordered a trash in its current state.

    Come on man! I was planning on kick back and relax playing Cyberpunk over the weekend, but I'm not so sure about anymore. You might wonder why am I giving this game a score of 1 having played barely an hour, easy, I CAN'T PLAY ANYMORE! The freaking game glitch during a tutorial mission and I can't move forward. I have to restart the whole thing from scratch.

Мне физически больно играть, глаза слезятся и голова в прямом смысле начинает болеть от постоянно дёргающейся, мыльной картинки. Я поверил разработчикам "Cd Project Red", когда они сказали, что версия для PlayStation 4, цитата: "На удивление хорошо". Я верил им, когда покупал эту игру. Больше я им не верю. Больше никогда не буду покупать их игры по предзаказам. В итоге ставлю версии для PlayStation 4 два бала. Первый балл за сюжет, второй балл за Джеки.

    Consumers are not game testers. This is unfathomable this was put on PSN and put on a disc. They showcased at E3 at a console stage and made a game tailored to high end PCs. Even when it did work and didn't blue screen it was hard to focus on the content because of technical issues.

During certain sequences, such as walking around or speaking with main quest characters, the game is engaging and fun to play - these are a clear "9 out of 10". Unfortunately, the extent of the drawbacks are unlike any I've seen from a major studio at launch. At its core, shooting and driving are extremely rigid - the mechanics harken back to the age of early driving and shooting - imagine GTA 3 driving combined with GoldenEye 007 shooting mechanics (I'll be honest, the guns do look pretty). This area of the game is a mediocre "5 out of 10" - mainly due to some creativity with advanced weapons. Lastly, the bugs. Even on PS5, I have had SIX fatal crashes in about FOUR hours of gameplay. That level of issues I have not seen yet in modern gaming (my AC Valhalla playthrough crashed once in 75 hours of gameplay). These issues that make the game unplayable (by literally kicking you out of the game), are a clear 0 out of 10. That's why I landed at a 4 out of 10. A few quick comments. The QA team for this game has clearly underperformed - it's blindingly clear in my playthrough so far. Any half decent QA who has experienced fatal crashes would have reported them. That being said, it's also unfortunate that the product and business teams pushed deadlines and let all this slide. Keep in mind, we're seeing this for the first time - but these teams have had months of playing a buggy, crashing game while claiming it "has gone gold." I'm writing this after the 6th crash, mid-dialogue, and I've given up on restarting the game again. It's unplayable.… Expand

It's so blurry I can barely see five feet in front of me because the resolution, textured, artifacting, and pop-ins are awful. I got like 25 frames per second on average. That's as far as I ended up getting, because I put it down before I could even experience the game; that's how bad it was right now. I seriously hope it will be fixed soon, because until then I won't be touching it.… Expand

    O jogo na versão base do playstation 4 está praticamente injogavel devido aos bugs e o fps que despenca em vários momentos.
    Entrei em contato com a sony para tentar conseguir um reembolso e me pediram para deletar e baixar o jogo novamente, antes que eu pudesse falar mais alguma coisa fecharam o chat online. Não recomendo comprar esse jogo e principalmente não recomendo compra-lo na psn.

    Simplifying this, this game runs really badly in the Ps4 pro and the resolution is horrible as well. Probably to be expected with the lack of console review codes. An embarrassment to the developing community and a complete disappointment on the CDPR team. Not to touch without at least 6 months of patches or try to find a Ps5 to play it.

Maybe people should stop hyping a game so much because you always end up disappointed. I love it so far. If it weren't for the fact that I have a grown up job and work all day, i would have played it longer. Who knows maybe I'll getDont know what all the fuss is about. City looks lifeless, No NPC, Even Gta vice city had better npc ai than this **** No 1080p, it gives 600 to 720p, Fps drops to 15 a lot, Bad texture, Short story, Tons of bugs and glitches. Extremely bad graphics and poorly optimized. Aside from technical issues, the game itself is not that good.

    One of the most deceitful cash grabs in modern history. Certainly the most deceitful in video game history. I saw incredible looking trailers and became interested in the lore and the setting. I preordered months ago and set my ps4 homescreen to the free bundled theme. I thought: they've been working on this for nearly a decade, CDPR no doubt created an immersive world lush with detail;One of the most deceitful cash grabs in modern history. Certainly the most deceitful in video game history. I saw incredible looking trailers and became interested in the lore and the setting. I preordered months ago and set my ps4 homescreen to the free bundled theme. I thought: they've been working on this for nearly a decade, CDPR no doubt created an immersive world lush with detail; this game is going to floor me and be an incredible experience. I was wrong.

    I boot up and go to create a character. Something is wrong. This character looks like it could be an NPC in vanilla WoW. That can't be right. I exit and go to settings. HDR is off. That must be why. Turn that on. Now everything is way too dark and barely any definition. I spend about an hour tinkering with settings trying to figure out why this game does not look like anything I've been sold. Turns out that's because they advertised a completely different product.

    Interestingly, it goes downhill from there. I push the graphic settings frustration aside and move onto the game itself. I choose nomad and I'm dropped into the story. Usually this is the part where a good game will hook you in. There's a heavily pixelated poster on the wall. I've seen higher definition sprays in counterstrike source. Within thirty minutes of whatever that was, I'm in night city and the background story might as well have never happened.

    I play through tutorials and nothing is fun at all. Melee is not fun. Stealth is not fun. Hacking is not fun. You cannot plug in a mouse for this game on PS4, so you have to struggle with analog sticks, and to make matters worse, they have all these "advanced" settings that make aiming totally unnatural and borderline impossible. I struggle with those settings for close to an hour until I am able to configure it to something playable.

    Crouching, swapping weapons, sliding, and performing any action is completely unsatisfying and incredibly clunky. Grabbing a guard from behind feels like it is missing a second or two of animation, because you instantly have them in a headlock as soon as you hit a button. Driving cars in this game is on par with final fantasy XV. It's bad.

    There is way too much going on in the HUD, and the UI/menus are absolute crap. There is so much crap to loot that you spend a good chunk of time walking around clumsily aiming your analog sticks at tiny, poorly defined items in low resolution only to find out that it's just an ashtray or some other piece of junk you don't need.

    Items of people's clothing go through their model when they turn their bodies--not random NPCs, major characters. You try to talk to people on the street and most do not move their mouths. The idea that this took nearly a decade to develop is unfathomable.

    I generally play and beat every game I buy so that I get the full experience and see what all the fuss is about. But I really don't feel like playing this one at all. I knew from the beginning that this was going to primarily be a next gen title, but I had faith that the PS4 pro experience would be fine in view of the fact that so many great developers make such incredibly well-designed games that look incredible on PS4 pro (GOT, tlou2, rdr2, god of war). This game looks worse than GTA IV. There is no excuse. Playing it is not fun. It is a huge let down, and I would take a refund if I could.

    I remember people complained that tlou2 was marketed deceitfully because of some pictures of Joel that were circulated. This is a whole 'nother level of deceit. CDPR should be embarrassed by what it released and ashamed of how it released it. No commentary on how the game runs on PS4. Only pre-release reviews by people playing on expensive gaming computers. No independent gameplay footage until after release. They engineered this whole release to grab as much cash as they could from last gen players by tricking them with next gen graphics. Nice way to cap off 2020. First game in my library that I won't play. I flat-out don't feel like it.    … Expand

    My game has crashed 11 times on different occasions with no pattern or evidence as to why. The pop in of NPCs, vehicles and scenery is ridiculous. Cut scenes play without props like guns or cars, so you end up shooting at people with an empty hand, which looks really bad. If you drive around, drive slowly because the area loads much slower than the cars. I'm writing this as of version 1.04 but even with this recent patch the pop in and bugs are still present. NPCs look like PS2 era models sometimes, and the holograms are static and rigid, which is terribly ugly. Parts of my HUD display the wrong buttons, and have stayed that way since a certain mission. When you make calls, NPCs that aren't even related to the call overlap with the person you're talking to, and makes them nearly impossible to see. Romance options are extremely limited, and despite **** and sex very present in the setting, theres basically nothing you can interact with. I know its not a porn game, but I was definitely expecting more from at least who I'd be able to romance. It's has its moments and the writing is gambling, but the performance and bugs ruin all of that. I'm playing on a PS4 pro, so I can only imagine how bad it is for the base console players. It feels like the advertisement was SEVERELY manipulated for this game, which breaks my heart. If they took the time to add more features later with the DLC they've planned, it might make it feel less like a let down, but with that and the MASSIVE number of crashes and performance issues, I'm left giving this a score I had nightmares about.… Expand

    Playing the PS4 version on the PS5 & while there are a few bugs & crashes I'm still thoroughly enjoying the game. People need to chill, fixes & improvements will come.

    Barely playable. Graphics are poor PS3 quality, NPC’s randomly despawn, AI is incredibly outdated, frame-rate is awful, the game repeatedly crashes, and that’s not even getting into the hundreds of bugs and glitches. It’s honestly insulting that they even thought this game was ready to be released.

    this is literally a scam from CDPR shady marketing. even games like Red Dead Redemption 2, Horizon Zero Dawn, Days Gone, Ghost of Tsushima able to make it decent and playable this should be no excuse for CDPR.     A objective evaluation, totally trash graphic on current-gen consoles. 720p on 30fps. They can’t manage to make it work on base PS4 and Xbox but they want to sell it to the customers. They know the graphic is **** but they hid the fact before the launch. Total deceive promotion! Everyone should get a refund!

    Crashes constantly on Playstation 5. Settings lost frequently so have to reconfigure basic things like subtitle size, HDR, etc. over and over again. Interesting story and world but not particularly immersive or great looking. Was not ready to be released, and shouldn't have been for this price.

    Night City, despite being well designed on a large scale, feels completely void of any genuine interactivity - it is too big and too dense for there to be so little to do in it, besides driving to new jobs and occasionally stopping to fight random gang encounters.

    For what was marketed as a deep and complex RPG, it fails on multiple levels. Character customisation is limited and I have seen better from games that barely even mention it in their marketing material. The gear, to be fair, has made me laugh. If you focus on stats and don't take your character too seriously, you can end up looking absolutely ridiculous and it's quite fun.

    The gunplay and combat as a whole is almost average. Just completely forgettable and full of jank - yet somehow still the most enjoyable part of the game - perhaps only because of the badass music that kicks in.

    Ultimately, technical and graphical issues aside, it feels like a generic action-adventure looter-shooter game from a small studio from 2015, and nowhere near delivers on the hype or on the game that was promised and shown in the multiple Night City Wires and other advertising material.

    There's character buried somewhere in this game, and a potential to be a fantastic experience, however this potential will not be achieved through patches alone. This will be come only from a complete overhaul - a 'No Man's Sky' - which it seems unlikely we will ever receive. Worst gaming disappointment of all time.

    Shame on CDPR, shame on them for their lies, shame on them for their false advertising, and shame on them for allowing 8 million people to preorder a game that is months and months from being finished.    … Expand

However the performance of this game is outright unacceptable, and a disgrace since CDR intentionally kept this hidden. I won't go into the PS4 base performance as there are plenty of user reviews here covering that, but I've been playing the game on PS5 via backwards compatibility. While FPS are smooth and pop ins aren't too bad (relatively), everything looks blurry and underdeveloped, annoying glitches that can disrupt gameplay, a severe lack of NPCs and cars when driving, NPCs and cars will fade in and out of existence like ghosts, and frequent crashes every 2 hours of playing. One time a crash even forced my PS5 to shutdown. Overall there IS a good game in there made by creative and passionate developers, but seemingly it was unfortunately hijacked by greedy executives who wanted to make a quick profit off the hype from the marketing and released an unfinished and horribly optimized game that can only reach close to its potential on a high end PC and deceived many console users spending 60 bucks on this. Hopefully the next gen versions are what were promised to us in the first place.… Expand

    I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive.     Cyberpunk 2077 is a game brimming with potential, and it damn near reaches it on so many occasions, but the pitfalls of its development ultimately drag it down. There's still a lot to like here for RPG fans and lovers of the genre, but it's far from the generation-defining masterwork that the world was waiting for.
