    Lord oh Lord where do I even begin. I'm playing on a ps5 but even the boosted performance isn't helping. This game has got to be the epitome of a rushed product that needs to meet a deadline. We should've known something was up when they didn't allow game journalists to showcase any of their own gameplay regardless of device prior to release. And they NEVER showcased base PS4 gameplay atLord oh Lord where do I even begin. I'm playing on a ps5 but even the boosted performance isn't helping.     Worse quality than ANY game for PS4.

    The worst part were the false promises from CDR that CP2077 will work on the old consoles. I could focus on PC or trying to get PS5. Now I am stuck in a limbo hearing from my friends about the game and not being able to play... THE WORST FEELING EVER.

    This game is a joke. When i saw it first time on my tv i think about change TV because is broken , but with my whole hardware is ok . This game sux . We got a lot of game look better on ps4 than this like tsuhima. Sometimes i feel like The last of us 1 remastered looks better than this "game"

    I'm about 8 hours in and just can't continue anymore. The game is just not playable in the open-world sections while being barely playable in the scripted indoors parts. I've experienced multiple crashes that wiped my personal settings in the game back to default. There are tons of bugs, glitches and very low-resolution textures. All this while it can't hit 30 fps    [PS4 slim - patch 1.02]

    This game is a parody. Starting with the execution, animations, textures, ending with kitschy style and plot straight from the worst action movies. The creators of this game should play RDR 2, think about themselves and never make games again because their product only regresses the gaming industries.

    Misleading and deceptive marketing successfully fooled millions of people into buying an abysmal game that should never have launched on this console. Both Playstation and CD Projekt Red make it impossible to seek a refund for an entirely faulty product without any consequences.

I felt compelled to as gamers need to be warned that this is the biggest ripoff in the history of gaming. I was a huge Witcher fan and like many put faith in CDPR to release a game that is at least playable on PS4. It's not. It's also worth noting that I'll take gameplay over graphics, but thisI've been gaming since 1986 and have never taken the time to write an online review...Until now. I felt compelled to as gamers need to be warned that this is the biggest ripoff in the history of gaming. I was a huge Witcher fan and like many put faith in CDPR to release a game that is at least playable on PS4. It's not. It's also worth noting that I'll take gameplay over graphics, but this is an absolute mess of a game. The screen seems like it's been smeared in vaseline, the textures are atrocious, floating cars and NPCs with no faces are just some of the things you'll encounter. The worst thing is the poor performance means no joy can even be taking in the shooting and gameplay. Ultimately, this should never have been released on last gen. I can't imagine patches fixing how bad this looks. The worst part is that CD project red knew it all along, and committed borderline fraud in the run up to release with their actions to withhold the truth. They should refund buyers of this game on PS4. I've never felt this way about a game before, even some of the travesties from Bethesda. Shame on you CDPR. I won't be pre-ordering one of their games again. They have a lot to answer for her. Stay away.… Expand

    The game is completely broken in base PS4. I barely hit more than 20 fps in the city and the game had crashed several times in the 3 hours i played it. Broken mess.

    Aside from all the technical bugs (unplayable on PS4, outright), aside from the false marketing and shady review manipulation from CDPR, the game ITSELF, the one underlying all the surreal technical hiccups, is nonetheless very underwhelming. They took the cyberpunk aesthetic, made a pretty looking world that is completely lifeless with dull NPCS, threw in the worst parts of Borderlands,Aside from all the technical bugs (unplayable on PS4, outright), aside from the false marketing and shady review manipulation from CDPR, the game ITSELF, the one underlying all the surreal technical hiccups, is nonetheless very underwhelming.     Took me 16 hours to complete the main story, would have taken me 13 hours if it wasn't for the constant crashes, bugs and glitches some were game breaking and I had to restart my PS4 or reload a save game from a an hour before, pretty graphics but I don't think they should have released it on the PS4 or Xbox with the low textures , resolution and FP low FPS.

All objects beyond two meters are not clearly visible. I have no words to describe the disappointment, CD PR caused. The benefit of the doubt, they`d been gaining all these years, is vanished.

Die Texturen und die gesamte Optik des Spiels sehen verwaschen aus und machen den Eindruck dass das Spiel schon 10 Jahre alt ist kein Vergleich zur The Witcher 3 oder The Last of us 2.     This makes Sonic 06 look like a GotY title. I made an account just to review this game and warn you not to make the same mistake I did and buying it for base PS4. It is literally borderline unplayable. I'm only an hour in, had a game breaking bug (NPC wouldn't start dialogue) constant random glitches and it looks like a late stage PS3 game.     " players will be able to focus on body shape " etc etc. Well I was already disappointed in an obvious lie about being able to deeply customize body shape. You cannot alter buttocks, any dimensions, no height , just one body type. You also cannot alter your appearance after character creation??!! WTF? It's a futuristic game that's all about augmentation and customization but you can't get a haircut for some reason? Ok So anger is rising...I'm not in a red zone just yet.

    I notice my curser keeps dropping to the bottom of the screen. I tried all three of my controllers and realize it's the game that's sinking my crosshairs. This already is game breaking for me because It's infuriating keeping that little bastard afloat. When you have your first enemy encounter....oh god that's when that sinking feelings comes in. The targeting and combat is just as ugly as the graphics . I had such a hard time aiming ( curser keeps auto dropping ) I just had to run up at point blank and spray an ocean of bullets into some dark blurry d statues . That's when i turn it off...It's unplayable.

    I've never played a game so disorienting and ugly...It honestly makes your head hurt. This is the first time I've ever left a review and I'm sure you've already read similar post to mine. The worst thing about this is you cannot get a refund even though It's an unplayable game. The curser problem for me alone turns this mess into a lemon for me. I cannot count how many times I've purchased a turd in a dress but this one tops them all! I thought fallout 4 was a great disappointment with dated graphics. but after this dumpster fire that game is looking so much better.

    In its current state it is unplayable piece of garbage. Everything is blurry, low FPS, AI are very dumb and they don't react to you. Quality of people models are so poor that it looks like it's 2005. I feel like its a PS3 game not PS4. I don't undersnand why CDPR even decided to release it on past gen consoles if it doesn't run properly. Dropped the game after 1 hour.

The game is clearly too much for the hardware to handle and should have never been released on this generation of console. While I understand the PS4 is now dated technology, other CPU-intensive games such as Red Dead Redemption 2 and Horizon Zero Dawn run almost flawlessly on PS4 and still look fantastic.If you're looking at buying this for base PS4 - don't, it's as simple as that. The game is clearly too much for the hardware to handle and should have never been released on this generation of console. While I understand the PS4 is now dated technology, other CPU-intensive games such as Red Dead Redemption 2 and Horizon Zero Dawn run almost flawlessly on PS4 and still look fantastic. Cyberpunk 2077 seems to have a resolution around 720p, the graphics and textures are blurry and look dated and the frame rate drops are woeful - around 15fps during some combat sequences. Even the title montage has frame drops. As others have reported the game also causes frequent system crashes, roughly one or two per hour. All of this is unacceptable really, especially considering how long the game's been in development for. No wonder the PS4 reviews are being gagged by the developer!… Expand

    Game is literally unplayable. The 'immersive world' is not immersive at all with literally braindead NPC's and broken Ai at every turn, a hard pass on this game for anyone and everyone.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. this ps4 game is a tragedy, Nomad the first 5 seconds of the game, we reattach the cables in the car that do not change their position at all, maps on the walls, posters are so blurry that you can't look at them, globes are in millions, jumping rag dolls and characters spawning after a while, mission after the prologue, the one in which we save a girl from the bathtub, I tried to pass her quietly, of course, it cannot be done because Jackie then does not bump into the wall and it is impossible to go further ... and the windows they do not open, and so do the common crashes. 8 years of production, I do not know, they got a tip in the middle that there will also be a version for the next genes and skip the previous generation or what is it like? to play CP you need to add 2k to a new graphics card or PS5 XD… Expand

There’s a bunch of technical requirements that all developers, no matter whether it’s a 1st party sony studio or a developer of Tetris, must obey. There are compliance teams. How on earth with all these checks, dedicated teams, testers on developer, publisher and hardware manifacture side, this game was given a greenlight for release? Who have paid whom and how much to let this **** happen? There is always a manager, who says “approved”, even a council of managers at sony and developer sides, who say - “go, we’re ok with releasing it”. Has any of them at least tried to launch it on ps5? Next-gen console.... It crashed 10 times already during a 2 hours play. Half of the cutscenes I’ve seen were jerking. It’s impossible to play at this state. I’m even ok with seeing ****ty graphics - ps5 support hasn’t been added yet, but with crashes and freezes - no way to play at all. I don’t know what cd projekt must do to please the community - free DLCs won’t help. I got a disaster for 70 bucks. And they would continue doing same **** on next projects they release....… Expand

    What is the point of creating a vast world to explore if u can't see it. Like someone has smeared marmite on my screen. Avoid!!!

    CP2077 is an unacceptable and unplayable massive mess. The worst game release ever made. After unfair and false information about the product, i feel it is a scam, deception. It is shame on CDPR. I paid for the the unpleasant moments, there is no entertainment part of it. Do not buy, mostly not digital, cause you can not ask refund. Low framerate, blurry visual, low resolution, you cant enjoy.

    **** this game on PlayStation 4. a lot of friezes, fps is not enough, cars fly in the air, characters pass through textures, and in General a complete p*****. I expected more from the game but in the first mission I was met in the scene not by enemies but by flying weapons.THIS IS TOTALLY ****ED UP.

    Could be a potentially great game. I am not even complaining about the graphic. It was decent. But the amount of times the game crashes on my ps4 pro was frustrating. I decided to stop until this has been patched. I have also sent at least 3 reports of the crash and just hoping for a fix soon..

    Cancelled my pre-order when I saw what a mess is PS4 version. Even though I have PS4 Pro, the release console version of a game is a bloody mess. This is unacceptable. You should really cut marketing budget, and think about the players, like you did before. Won't toss a coin to you anymore.

    One of the greatest SCAMS in gaming history.

    Literally one of the worse looking games on the PS4. Looks like GTA 3 with mods.

    Shame on Sony for refusing refunds and letting it pass its certification process. They are just as complicit in this SCAM.

    it's really sad to see.

    That being said the game itself is amazing, the atmosphere and characters in cyberpunk 2077 are impressively well crafted, but it is impossible too appreciate anything in this game due to it's technical failure

    This is unplayable on PS4. I died in a main story quest and when I hit retry from checkpoint the game crashed. And ever since then when I boot up the game and load any of my save files, even the ones from BEFORE the quest, the game crashes immediately without fail.

There's no way this is the work of 7 years. Is it only explanation you can find is that is this game is basically recently developed.

    I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive.     Cyberpunk 2077 is a game brimming with potential, and it damn near reaches it on so many occasions, but the pitfalls of its development ultimately drag it down. There's still a lot to like here for RPG fans and lovers of the genre, but it's far from the generation-defining masterwork that the world was waiting for.
