    CDPR is supposed to be one of the most consumer friendly companies in the industry. And yet, in what is among the most staggeringly anti-consmer decisions I've seen from a game company, they have released Cyberpunk 2077 on platforms that simply cannot run it well, and are charging full price for it.

    Currently, the quality of this game on all consoles is completely unacceptable. At best,    CDPR is supposed to be one of the most consumer friendly companies in the industry. And yet, in what is among the most staggeringly anti-consmer decisions I've seen from a game company, they have released Cyberpunk 2077 on platforms that simply cannot run it well, and are charging full price for it.

    Currently, the quality of this game on all consoles is completely unacceptable. At best, it looks like a game from the early PS3 era (even when running on PS5), and on the base ps4 console the performance can be so poor that it is essentially unplayable. This is far below the standard we should expect from AAA games in 2020.

    They must have known this, but lied about the quality prior to release, saying it runs ‘surprisingly well’ on last gen consoles and that people need not be concerned. To make matters worse, they prevented the media from reviewing the console versions prior to release. As far as I can tell, the only reason for this was to try and prevent inevitable preorder cancellations and reduced sales. Disgraceful.

    So to anyone thinking of buying this on consoles: please don't waste your money. At the very least, wait until the next gen upgrade or play on good PC setup. And I hope that CDPR will try to redeem themselves by continuing to work hard on improving the game on all platforms, and by prioritising a highly quality next gen version.    … Expand

    I felt the atmosphere, I know the game has potential but this a joke. And the press so are you what is your point if you can't even warn us "Actually no, we have a very custom engine, the RED Engine. And actually, we’re targeting consoles as first class platforms and it looks amazing there. So obviously, if you spent, you know, $2,000 building your PC rig, it’s going to look better on that. But the graphics are quite amazing for what you’re going to get from Cyberpunk 2077 on consoles and low-end PCs."

Tengo que decir que no es totalmente injugable, si estas acostumbrado a juga a la primera Game Boy. Es un juego que no se disfruta nada en la ps4 (base), desde los bugs que tiene tanto como los coleccionables de todos los assassin´s creed juntos y después la calidadCiberpunk 2077, el juego que te cambiara la vida, pero para mal. 70 euros para un juego roto en todo los sentidos posibles.     I liked the aesthetic and the dynamics of the game but the graphics, performance (lack of it), crashes and bugs made me hate the game. If it’s so bad don’t publish it to fat ps4. I mean id give it a second chance on ps5 but for now this is the worst performance I had in the console since it’s launch

    I remember when "Just Cause 3" (fun action game from 2015) only ran well on PC and console versions were absolutely awful, this game got ripped to pieces. I honestly hope same happens here. This was 2015, we are in 2020 now. And this is not about some fun 2015 action game anymore, it's about most overhyped game of all time, so i think people should be way more critical now.

    I don't have word for my disappointment with this game. We're talking about 8 years of development not even counting the delays. The game is UNPLAYABLE in it release state. All my faith in CDPR is gone now.

    Awful graphics, this game looks like it was designed on a potato and simply cannot operate on the PS4. It makes no sense because games such as the TLOU2, God of War and much more operate at a much higher level. Disappointing and a terrible job at polishing the game

The game looks like a PS3 title, the AI is absolute garbage (there isn't even driving AI for NPCs are you kidding?! Even GTA 3 had driving AI), if you do something bad, police will just spawn behind you,What an absolute garbage excuse of a game. I'm from an economically failed country, which means every $ cost me so much to get. I've wasted 60$; it's about 1-2 months of work. I tried to refund, but due to the PlayStation policy, I didn't succeed.    I pre-ordered the game on PS4 last month.

    I love the Cyberpunk universe and Dystopic future so I've waited like a dog for this game for this 8 years.. turned out a universe full of bugs and glitches that makes my Ps4 crash like hell.
    I've played for 13 h and I just couldn't take it anymore after again and again, I couldn't finish a mission cuz of the glitches... Thank god I was able to re-sell the    So disappointed in this game!!

It is obviously not ready to be played on PS4 or Xbox One systems due to massive technical failures that are inexcusable for a company such as CD Projekt Ted. I was blaming Ubisoft for making trash games but believe me instead of buying this game go and just buy AC Valhalla. You would definitely enjoy much more...

    This game is unplayable. It crashes every time I try to talk to Jackie when he’s eating noodles. Not to mention the graphics are horrendous and nothing renders correctly in the city. There is no excuse since we’ve had beautiful games like red dead 2. It’s a scam

    Life paths take 10 minutes to finish. Nomad path contains no nomads. Just a 5min talk to a mechanic. Then you meet up with Jackie and drive to NC.

In the linear scenes 30 fps are rarely achieved and when free roaming through night city... I've seen PowerPoint presentations running smoother than some of cyberpunk 2077s set pieces.

    After 20 hours I just gave up, the issues in this game made my experience unbearable and tedious. Perhaps in 6 months, after several patches I`ll give this game another chance. For now I cannot decide which gives me the worse nightmares: how cyberpunk might have played on consoles if it were released in April of this year or the sound of a 2013 PS4 Fat running this game.    … Expand

Why would I rather CD Projekt Red to just cancel CyberPunk 2077 for current gen consoles? If someone from the future would've told me that Cyberpunk 2077 was going to have worst performance than GTA V, I would've just say "LMAO you're crazy." Sadly that person from the future was correct, THIS GAME RUNS WORST THAN GTA V. Cyberpunk 2077 is not even a constant 30fps experience on the Xbox One S this game reaches the low 14 FPS on some action scenes in the game, and even sometimes the resolution goes down to 720p . CD Projekt Red can't give the excuse that the Xbox One | S | X | is not capable of running at a constant 1080p 30fps, for example Red Dead Redemption 2 runs at a constant 1080p 30FPS, so the console can run decently looking games but CD Projekt Red underestimated the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 with disgusting performances, it seems like the game is running on a Nintendo Switch. i don't recommend this game at the moment, if they decide to make an update and make it look like Red Dead Redemption 2 or even the Last of Us 2 I would change my mind and recommend but this game is not good for current gen consoles if you have a next gen console or a high end PC this game is great and runs well and I would recommend on newer and powerful hardware but for the Xbox One and Playstation 4 they could've handle it better, for the game to be fun and playable just like Spider-Man 2018, RDR 2, TLOU 2. And story is a bit lackluster but that's not a big issue because multiplayer is coming soon. In conclusion this game was not ready for Xbox One and Playstation 4 an it should've gotten delayed once more.… Expand

It's a dead end, I can't continue the game. I read online that it happens to many other people. Maybe one day the developers will patch it.     This game is just a janky The OuterWorlds. Gunplay is sloppy with enemies acting like bullet sponges. Weapons have no kick to them, melee plays like Kingdom Come Deliverence, weapons dont feel like they connect with enemies. Obviously loads of technical issues as well.

    What a pure dissapointment. This game needed 10 more years to be what they promised and advertised. The only customization left is ur character but u can’t see that because they removed third person cutscenes. In the opening they say u can live the rich live, yet u will always keep living in the slums because they removed appartments. So much got cut...this game isn’t worth 1% of the hype.

    I don't believe that our "beloved" Cdpr launched this game for the ps4...and the ceo claimed that it "runs surprising good on the current gen consoles ..I won't talk about the glitches and bugs..ok maybe these will be fixed some time in the future but this game is unplayable..but those graphics and the rendering is just funny that ps2 environment is all over again

I thought: they've been working on this for nearly a decade, CDPR no doubt created an immersive world lush with detail; this game is going to floor me and be an incredible experience. I was wrong.

    I boot up and go to create a character. Something is wrong. This character looks like it could be an NPC in vanilla WoW. That can't be right. I exit and go to settings. HDR is off. That must be why. Turn that on. Now everything is way too dark and barely any definition. I spend about an hour tinkering with settings trying to figure out why this game does not look like anything I've been sold. Turns out that's because they advertised a completely different product.

    Interestingly, it goes downhill from there. I push the graphic settings frustration aside and move onto the game itself. I choose nomad and I'm dropped into the story. Usually this is the part where a good game will hook you in. There's a heavily pixelated poster on the wall. I've seen higher definition sprays in counterstrike source. Within thirty minutes of whatever that was, I'm in night city and the background story might as well have never happened.

    I play through tutorials and nothing is fun at all. Melee is not fun. Stealth is not fun. Hacking is not fun. You cannot plug in a mouse for this game on PS4, so you have to struggle with analog sticks, and to make matters worse, they have all these "advanced" settings that make aiming totally unnatural and borderline impossible. I struggle with those settings for close to an hour until I am able to configure it to something playable.

    Crouching, swapping weapons, sliding, and performing any action is completely unsatisfying and incredibly clunky. Grabbing a guard from behind feels like it is missing a second or two of animation, because you instantly have them in a headlock as soon as you hit a button. Driving cars in this game is on par with final fantasy XV. It's bad.

    There is way too much going on in the HUD, and the UI/menus are absolute crap. There is so much crap to loot that you spend a good chunk of time walking around clumsily aiming your analog sticks at tiny, poorly defined items in low resolution only to find out that it's just an ashtray or some other piece of junk you don't need.

    Items of people's clothing go through their model when they turn their bodies--not random NPCs, major characters. You try to talk to people on the street and most do not move their mouths. The idea that this took nearly a decade to develop is unfathomable.

    I generally play and beat every game I buy so that I get the full experience and see what all the fuss is about. But I really don't feel like playing this one at all. I knew from the beginning that this was going to primarily be a next gen title, but I had faith that the PS4 pro experience would be fine in view of the fact that so many great developers make such incredibly well-designed games that look incredible on PS4 pro (GOT, tlou2, rdr2, god of war). This game looks worse than GTA IV. There is no excuse. Playing it is not fun. It is a huge let down, and I would take a refund if I could.

    I remember people complained that tlou2 was marketed deceitfully because of some pictures of Joel that were circulated. This is a whole 'nother level of deceit. CDPR should be embarrassed by what it released and ashamed of how it released it. No commentary on how the game runs on PS4. Only pre-release reviews by people playing on expensive gaming computers. No independent gameplay footage until after release. They engineered this whole release to grab as much cash as they could from last gen players by tricking them with next gen graphics.     The police spawn out of nowhere.
    The ai is dumb as a rock.
    There is no ai for cars, they just follow a pre programmed path.
    The bugs, the crashes, would give it a negative if I could.

Compré este título para PC, en GOG; y, además, mi hermano ya había hecho la preventa desde abril, para PS4. Sin tener la PC de mínimo 2,500 dólares que quizá el 1% de los que compran este título tendrán, el juego corre "bien" a secas. Mi problema, sin embargo, no es tanto la cuestión catastrófica de bugs, gráficos completamente despulidos y crasheos que te obligan a cerrar el juego y reiniciar la aplicación de GOG; mi más grande problema es el contenido del "juego". Terminé mi primer playthrough en modo "Muy Difícil", en el path de "Nómada" y, aún con el modo, la IA es una basura: tanto enemigos, como policía, son infinitamente menos desafiantes que los que te ponen en el tutorial. Pareciera que sólo están puestos para estorbar cuando caminas hacia el siguiente punto de la misión. Podrías pasarte el juego entero con las misiones secundafias sin siquiera usar el árbol de personalización de armas y demás modificaciones en atributos del personaje, y otras upgrades que te pone el sistema del juego. El sistema de progresión es inútil.
    Los paisajes, y la ambientación del juego en general, EN LA VERSIÓN DE PC, me parecen muy atractivos... Pero están vacíos! A excepción de aquellos barrios, callejones, y departamentos donde se encuentra alguna misión, o en cargo, el resto del mundo funge de adorno. Esto es desastroso, debido a la "amplia verticalidad y abundante posibilidad de exploración" que nos prometió CDPR. Pero, y bien, ¿qué pasa cuando exploras lo poco con lo que sí puedes interactuar? Te encuentras con el peor loot y sistema de looteo que he visto en un RPG, en 25 años que tengo jugando videojuegos. Si quisiera un juego donde puedo recoger **** regresaría al maravilloso e hilarante Saints Row IV. Si quisiera lootear condones, los lootearía en el mundo real! The Witcher 3 padecía de lo mismo, un loot de mucha basura (literal) pero, al menos en TW3, podías desmantelar la chatarra, y sacarle provecho para las armas. Aquí, tu **** con tachas, se queda como **** con tachas.
    La emoción por rejugabilidad es inexistente: una vez que terminen la historia principal (que dura como 20 horas) y todo el contenido secundario (que, después de un total de 40 horas, ya me terminé lo inportante), no queda la necesidad de volver a explorar, de retomar la aventura. Personalmente, sólo me quedó la intención de volver a jugar un NG+ en modo "Death March" en el juego que SÍ fue la obra maestra de la desarrolladora Polaca.
    Nos mostraron la posibilidad de 3 distintos caminos para jugar, pero si escoges "Nómada" (mi caso), no vas a cambiar la experiencia de juego, ni el final del mismo, que si escoges "Corpo" (el caso de mi hermano). A excepción de un par de posibilidades de responder de forma distinta a una que otra conversación, TODO es IGUAL!
    Todo lo anterior, es meramente la superficie, de una profundidad más notable de problemas con el contenido del juego. Hablar del horrible rendimiento que este título tiene en las consolas para las que fue desarrollado, ya es otra cosa; mismos problemas que tiene para PC, a excepción de los gráficos y el bajón de frames tan cerdo. Me parece un insulto y un robo que hayan ofrecido este juego para PS4/Xbox One.
    En resumen, no gasten 60 dólares por este prototipo de lo que quizá en 8 años, sea una muy buena franquicia. Me parece que el equivalente de esta atrocidad, sería que CDPR hubiese sacado The Witcher 3, para PS3 y Xbox 360. Ni más, ni menos. Mi recomendación: esperen a que la compañía, con todo el dinero que se va a meter después de este atraco masivo y descarado, saque la 2a y hasta 3a entrega de Cyberpunk. Esperemos que aprendan de sus errores garrafales, y veamos una transición y salto gigantesco (como lo vimos con la serie de The Witcher) en esta IP. Mientras tanto, a jugar Doom, Dark Souls, Ghost of Tsushima, o cualquier título que sí merezca la pena, y que sí esté hecho para ser, no sólo digamos disfrutado, sino jugado con dignidad.    … Expand

I'm writing this as of version 1.04 but even with this recent patch the pop in and bugs are still present. NPCs look like PS2 era models sometimes, and the holograms are static and rigid, which is terribly ugly. Parts of my HUD display the wrong buttons, and have stayed that way since a certain mission. When you make calls, NPCs that aren't even related to the call overlap with the person you're talking to, and makes them nearly impossible to see. Romance options are extremely limited, and despite **** and sex very present in the setting, theres basically nothing you can interact with. I know its not a porn game, but I was definitely expecting more from at least who I'd be able to romance. It's has its moments and the writing is gambling, but the performance and bugs ruin all of that. I'm playing on a PS4 pro, so I can only imagine how bad it is for the base console players. It feels like the advertisement was SEVERELY manipulated for this game, which breaks my heart. If they took the time to add more features later with the DLC they've planned, it might make it feel less like a let down, but with that and the MASSIVE number of crashes and performance issues, I'm left giving this a score I had nightmares about.… Expand

    The game is still probably in its alpha stage for Consoles, on how horrid and BLURRY THE GRAPHICS ARE, YOU WILL WITNESS A LOT OF BIG POLYGONS. THE sound MIX and VFS are so inaudible, its a complete joke.

    The AUDIO from gun fire is completely unrealistic, very bad physics.FYI there are many comparisons on YouTube between GTA 5 (7 year old game) and Cyberpunk in terms of physics, and and its just hilarious to watch how little effort was put into the physics aside from the gameplay or story elements! .

    PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT BUY this PRODUCT !! maybe the story and some RPG elements are revolutionary but it is still not worth 60 dollars to be played in its current state. I MADE THE HUGE MISTAKE of trusting the developers of this game because of their track history and consumer friendly practices, and pre ordered the game DIGITALLY, which means I threw 60 dollars in the trash since I am not get any way close to get a refund. The publisher and the platform support really drew the bar big time by shaming, deceiving their loyal customers. and i hope gamers will learn to NEVER PRE-ORDER DIGITALLY nor PHYSICALLY A GAME EVER EVER AGIN.     I have PS4Pro & Samsung 55” true 4K UHD. The graphics are awful, just awful...it’s like playing a PS2 game on an old SD TV. But that’s just for starters. Characters are wooden, dialogue is cliched dribble. Gameplay? Ummm, just walk around, do some shooting, do some hacking, pick up collectables...pick up more    WORST PRE-ORDER EVER! No doubt CD Projekt will release endless patches in a futile effort to improve this mess...But it will live on in infamy as Worst Game Ever, and that’s being charitable. K,K...there may be a few games in the history of consoles that are worse, but not with this much hype. And never with this much outright collusion by the game reviewer cottage industry of lies. How much does it take to buy off game reviewers these days? I guarantee CD Projekt spent more money paying for positive previews then on the game development...or even what they paid to Keanu Reeves.

    Obvious take always: 1. Never pre-order video games again 2. Never, ever buy game from CDPR again!

    I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive.     Cyberpunk 2077 is a game brimming with potential, and it damn near reaches it on so many occasions, but the pitfalls of its development ultimately drag it down. There's still a lot to like here for RPG fans and lovers of the genre, but it's far from the generation-defining masterwork that the world was waiting for.
