Handles like a late 90’/early 2000’s game, which is completely ruined by first person perspective. It’s similar to Days Gone but set in the future. Glitchy and boring.     Its really a bad experience playing this game with my PS4 Pro and my cousin's Xbox One. It keeps on crashing and it's very annoying. The graphics is so bad too and the game is full of bugs and glitches.

    What a disgrace to release a game in this condition, it’s very close to being unplayable on ps4 pro, my game crashed 6 times in one day, the performance is absolutely horrendous, the graphics are so poor (for ps4 pro) and the bugs... so many bugs. Many people have been robbed for their money.

    After waiting for a first patch of 50Gb to download and install, I played a few missions of the game with no crashes, but severe glitches and graphical atrocities. Then came a second update which only fixed framerate issues. I went back to the games shop right away and got a full refund.

    I am unpleasantly given such a score, because I love this studio, but this should in no way be encouraged. The PS4 version is simply unplayable and terrible. I really hope that a separate version for PS5 will give me the full enjoyment of this game, but for now I can only put zero.

    This game is terrible. The usual campaign, disgusting physics of cars, boring and empty world, bugs and the worst optimization I've ever seen in a games. And this game is being sold for money on consoles, I think you must get the money back for this misunderstanding.

    Absolute garbage. I kept the game cause it's a fun meme to show my friends but that's about the only enjoyment I've gotten out of this lifeless, bugged out game. This game is a colossal failure on all accounts.

The graphic is blurry and I feel like I have vision problems playing this game, just after 1 hour of gameplay my eyes are sore and I have a headache due to the blurriness. The game looks like a PS2 game at best, billboards and signs are nearly readable or not atI was so excited about this game and it turned out that my base PS4 is not enough.     7 years in development and it’s not a finished product. CDPR has to fix this as soon as possible. I’ve encountered a game-breaking bug that will not let me continue gameplay. Completely unacceptable.

    I am not one to give a game a rating of zero, however, on the PS4 Pro, the game is absolutely unplayable. I paid $64 for the Cyberpunk 2077 tab. Since I'm not able to even play the game I paid for, I cannot give it any other rating but zero.

I was on the fence about buying this, i thought it wouldn’t be great on console, but this is so much worse than I expected. Especially from the company that gave us Witcher 3, a game i adore. I have requested a refund for this game and anyone who bought it should be eligible for a refund. This game was originally meant to release in april, before next gen was a thing. So any argument this wasn’t meant for last gen is a pathetic excuse. The majority of the players are on old consoles and CDPR is trying to sweep it under the rug like these issues don’t exist. Even on PC the game is still a very buggy mess, its clear that the game needed another year in development at the very least. I’m so tired of companies releasing unfinished games and people are okay with it, because ‘don’t worry they will patch it’ its tiring. This is a full price £50 title and this is what is served up. Its false advertisement.

    Shocking quality. NPCs were more sophisticated 10 years ago. The bugs, crashes and frame rate drops alone make Cyberpunk 2077 unplayable on base PS4.

    There is no reason for a console specific version to run this badly and why some of the menu's we're clearly intended for a mouse and not a controller.

Graphics are poor PS3 quality, NPC’s randomly despawn, AI is incredibly outdated, frame-rate is awful, the game repeatedly crashes, and that’s not even getting into the hundreds of bugs and glitches. It’s honestly insulting that they even thought this game was ready to be released.

    I have tried on PC too and while it’s not even well optimised or polished there, it’s nothing compared to the console experience. This is one of the worst performing games ever released on console. Dips below 20fps, blurry PS3 era graphics (honestly The Last of Us on PS3 looked at good as this with a higher frame rate too) and bugs every minute, with brain dead AI that completely break theI have tried on PC too and while it’s not even well optimised or polished there, it’s nothing compared to the console experience. This is one of the worst performing games ever released on console.     8 лет ожиданий и хайпа самой студии, что игра будет прорывом в геймдеве и по итогу получить ЭТО? Cdpr просто всех наебала, доверия к этой студии нет и игры их покупать больше не буду.

    The game is unplayable in its current state. It should never have been sold like this, it is completely unacceptable.

    It looks awful and the performance is deeply unstable. The Witcher 3 has shown that they can make a game that looks and plays nicely on PS4, they've just chosen to release this game before it was finished. Plus they lied about it and tried to hide it. I feel betrayed.

    I was playing(trying) on ps4 fat and everything looks terrible, unpolished, crashes, low frame rate. It is almost unplayable. The game had a great potential but should have never been released to old gen. They could have improved the game over the past 3 years only to ps5, series x and pc.     Не видел ни одной игры на PS4 с таким паршивым графоном, мылом и багами. Да что уж там, на PS3 даже не видел. Глаза вытекли на 20й минуте, играть невозможно. Общее ощущение от игры примерно такие, будто ты в 90-х купил пиратку камерку на зажеванной VHS и пытаешься это посмотреть с периодически ходящими перед экраном на записи зрителями. Но за-то комплекте есть 3 замечательных открыткиНе видел ни одной игры на PS4 с таким паршивым графоном, мылом и багами. Да что уж там, на PS3 даже не видел. The AI is dumb, gunplay is worst than far cry. The open world is boring. Story do not make sense. Surprised that this is same developers who made witcher 3.     One of the worst experience about gaming: wasted money and time for a game that I cannot play. It's unbelievable, if this game demands such powerful hardware, why did you sell it for PS4? This is how to disappoint your fans. I'm expecting at least a refound or to get a free version for PS4 or Xbox series X.

    The game that everyone waited for for 8 years is finally released and ohh god what a mess it is. It was supposedly optimised for the consoles but what we got was not what was advertised. Oh and the shady review tactics. Really disappointed.

All of the footage they'd promoted of this game, including at Sony events and on the PSN page, came from PC builds of this game. I was shocked to boot it up and find what looked like an early PS3 game. Just the worst thing I've ever seen on this console.     the game is very bad. and it's not about bugs. the game is linear, without alternative quest scenarios. the game world is dead. npc are dumb. The feeling of shooting is terrible.

CDProjekt Red knew fine this game was in an unacceptable state (recently admitted) and undeniably tried to cover it by misleading and manipulative business tactics. The game needs at least another year or more of development time. ThisSo bad that it was removed from the PSN Store by Sony. This is up there with the worst trickery and dishonesty in marketing for a game that's ever happened. CDProjekt Red knew fine this game was in an unacceptable state (recently admitted) and undeniably tried to cover it by misleading and manipulative business tactics. The game needs at least another year or more of development time. This is like 99% preparation for a large immersive game, and 1% of actually trying to get it to run. The open world is laborious and unplayable. Graphics and gameplay is below 720p and sometimes will never manage to load in textures and framerate persistently reaches as low as 15fps and can or will stay like that. The amount of bugs and glitches is completely messed up and it is without question the most horrendously bugged, glitched and poorly performing game ever released. General combat gameplay is a similar calibre to Outer Worlds, but sometimes feels like an old Halo game from 2000s. Shooting often bullet sponging enemies with tactically OP firearms and melee with underwhelming feedback and collision. QA testers around November time pointed to a still-unfinished game across all facets of it's content. I'm shocked at how much that isn't just tolerable things. But this 'crunch' that everyone knew about was more serious than what was ever told - they had to scrap the game as an RPG game and instead title it an Action-Adventure due to the vast number of things removed which no longer qualified it as an RPG. Non-extensively or to name a few, they removed large mechanics such as:

    All normal spider bot gameplay Removed skill trees (Techie etc) Whole wall running mechanic scrapped The subway system as fast travel system scrapped - replaced with a loading screen. Vehicle and home customisation scrapped Character customisation such as haircuts and augments cut
    Other storage options removed such as wardrobe, all done in inventory now

    The bugs etc are pervasive enough to ruin the experience and spoil it. The crashing is regular enough to frustrate players into switching off, then your character falling through the scenery nearly as frequently as the crashes which can happen several times in an hour of gameplay. Missions get stuck permanently (currently have two side missions and my main story permanently non-progressing), dialogue sticks and have to reset. NPCs and AI is diabolical and there is actually 'no AI' for several concepts in the game such as driving. One blatant example being the whole wanted level system where cops come for you. They don't actually come arriving to you — they just spawn right beside you in plain sight and start shooting. Then they simply vanish into thin air when you leave the scene. Textures and rendering never loading causing reset.. The game has so many severe problems that you'd never be done, but I'm legit horrified with how something like this can be hyped up and sold. Totally unacceptable for a game of 8 years in development. The memes are bull going on about people complaining about it's delays when it was in a state like this for at 8 years. Cyberpunk is easily one of the most horrendous releases gaming history. The gaming community must learn about pre-ordering games and the expectations and hype they have for them prior to actually seeing a complete product. Consumers need to change and learn a serious lesson from this.    … Expand

    There is no possibility to play this game on PS4. Drops of FPS, bad quality graphics and a lot of bugs. CD project must fix all this problems soon as possible because its a very expensive game and The players of playstation dont deserve this.

    The game is unplayable on PS4, unfortunately. They developers should have made it a timed exclusive on PC and work on consoles thereafter. Instead they opted to lie to everyone else. Especially the console gamers.
    And the next gen versions are not good either. It's the same version as PS4/Xbox one but with slightly better resolution and frameeate. This is a disgrace.

    I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive.     Cyberpunk 2077 is a game brimming with potential, and it damn near reaches it on so many occasions, but the pitfalls of its development ultimately drag it down. There's still a lot to like here for RPG fans and lovers of the genre, but it's far from the generation-defining masterwork that the world was waiting for.
