    This should never have been released on PS4, and the way this company catfished their customers is unacceptable. All of the footage they'd promoted of this game, including at Sony events and on the PSN page, came from PC builds of this game. I was shocked to boot it up and find what looked like an early PS3 game. Just the worst thing I've ever seen on this console.     Cyberpunk 2077 had the worst launch in last gen consoles, even fallout 76 wasnt this bad, game crashed every 10 minutes on ps4 pro and the whole graphics made me feel like i was watching a low quality stream on twich. Bugs, glitches, cars spawning while ur driving, soundtracks bugging out, camera locks while driving, and night city looks like a ps2 era GTA while u drive around, my take isCyberpunk 2077 had the worst launch in last gen consoles, even fallout 76 wasnt this bad, game crashed every 10 minutes on ps4 pro and the whole graphics made me feel like i was watching a low quality stream on twich.     The purest reason why you should NEVER preorder. You can of course trust a Company with a positive background.... But it takes 1 time, one simple moment to F you UP! Gaming industry is slowly turning into a huge example of failed customer service.... THIS GAME WAS NOT READY TO BE RELEASED!!!!

I didn’t expect a technical marvel on ps4, but I did expect a functioning game with ps4 graphics; this is not it. Please save your hard earned money and get something else. Shouldn’t have been released on last gen consoles, period.     Un juego completamente roto, caída de fps alarmantes, carga de de elementos en el escenario, texturas lentas y pobres y una carencia de IA demencial. Hacer un análisis completo es imposible porque el juego se crashea pasado un tiempo.

    This game is unplayable and complete betrayal of the community's trust by CDPR. They lied to us and said the game ran surprisingly well when they knew you could barely get through the intro video without the console lagging to pieces. Don't waste your money. This company has lost all my trust

Anytime in a gunfight with more than a coupe of enemys the game drops frames like crazy which makes it look awful and feel terrible. On top of that there are so many random glitches around the city.     This game is completely unplayable on ps4. Never should have been promised or released for last gen consoles. Wish I hadn't bought it and would very much like my money back but Sony's return policy sucks. I have never looked up how to get my money back for a videogame until Cyberpunk 2077.

    Coming : "When it's ready" .... yeh, right.

    The is obviously rushed, so many bugs, feels lifeless. Watch dogs seems like a next gen title comprares to this. Give us all refunds!! The developers knew what they were doing not allowing gameplay to be release that is shady and we want our money back!!!!!!

    Unplayable rotten message that seriously makes me reconsider my desire to buy a PS5. This is due to the horrible and greedy refund policy's that Sony and PlayStation have in place. Where they wont allow refunds for even games such as this, which arent even functional!

    The game started early development before the launch of the PS4 console (the plataform which i played). The official release date was first scheduled to april/2020, months before the launch of the PS5. All advertisement falsely stated that the game would performe well in the PS4 console. Talking about features, the game promised to be ground breaking when talking about how decision making in the game would affect your progress, or how your background would be important. None of this matters, you can't save NPC's from undesired fates, or create a personality for your character (not even customize your appearence after the game's beggining). All of it was a lie to sell an unfinished and broken game to 8 million ppl and counting in pre sales. Even the decision of sending Pc copies instead of the ordinary console copies can be viewed as an attempt to prevent the press to give a bad review hours before the game's launch, which could cost millions of dollars in canceled pre orders. I cant make myself to continue playing a broken game on ps4, and i will wait for new patches and fixes. Because the bugs destroy any immersion that an RPG is supose to create.
    To list a few problems: Error in graphics in a vatiety of ways like flickering, stuttering, low textures, delayed rendering, missing object collision, npcs and enemies broken AI, few npcs and vehicles in the street, no interaction at all from npcs not meant for quests, no random events, npcs and objects floating, audio bugs, hud bugs, tutorial bugs, flashing, spawning everywhere, invisible objects, no possibility of keeping stolen vehicles, no interation with the world, lack of cutscenes of importance when upgrading your implants (if feels like switching clothes), game crashes constantly, etc. The game doesn't even work properly, so a 5 rate is impossible. A 3 is a very good rating when talking about the worst launch titled i ever seen in my life.    … Expand

    Glitchiest game ever. Ragdoll, vanishing textures, cars clipping, AI cars driving into walls for no reason, objects floating, quest markers disappearing and way more. They should have waited longer before release.

The game is 720p and 20fps with patch 1.04, which is unacceptable, it looks blurry and the low frame rate makes it almost unplayable, just look at the tables and walls of the bar at the very beginning, most of those textures are like 144pI give the game 1 because it has a very good packaging.     All the good feedback and hype are all due to the pre-released game being shown or tested using a really high end PC.

    When indoor, just a mirror model with your character model can be as blurry as a ps2 game, the way NPC walks and interact with you are like coding and animations from ps3 era or worse (like a ghost that will either walk through you like you are thin air or like a robot that rotate and then walk)
    How can older games like Witcher 3 or GTA5 are better than this game is beyond belief.
    This game had been hyped by fanboys, they even got awards before the game got release, it is a big slap in the face for those game award critics for giving a game score based on hype.
    If you could refund it, refund it

    I have never seen anything released that performed so bad. If a game says its for ps4 it should at least play well. It doesnt run well at all. I feel a little ripped off. All ill say is if it runs well on your next gen good for you. Im happy. But for xbox and ps4 steer clear. Im still in shock how bad it is. Such a shame. I hope a class action is made.

A stunning open world, great implemented RPG elements, the leveling systems are very nice, very interesting en well written stories and quests, beautiful characters. This game is everything I hoped it would be and more. I am in for about 40 hours doing about anything I can possibly find on the map. And I can only sit and smile while playing. It is understandable that compromises had to be made to make it playable on base consoles but the current state is unacceptable. The game is not enjoyable at all in the current state.     I felt deceived by CDR marketing not being transparent with the issues on console version of the game, I’m using PS4 pro but the quality of game is barely enjoyable with slow loading textures, poor frame rate, blurry visuals and plagued with numerous bugs. Not worth the wait. Disappointed :(

    I did wish it didn't crash every two hours and have bugs in every scene, and have the framerate drop markedly during fights...
    That being said, it is a very fun and deep game with a lot of dark, morbid missions. I relate it to The Observer, Detroit: Become Human,    This game had LOTS of bugs, but for someone who is such a fan of Cyberpunk themes as me, I'm VERY pleased with my purchase.
    I did wish it didn't crash every two hours and have bugs in every scene, and have the framerate drop markedly during fights...
    That being said, it is a very fun and deep game with a lot of dark, morbid missions.
    I relate it to The Observer, Detroit: Become Human, Mirror's Edge, Rage 2, and Watchdogs Legion all rolled together and with a LOT more bugs.
    I'd recommend to any cyberpunk-type fiction fan, as long as you have patience to put up with the countless bugs and glitches.
    I am pretty disappointed with CDPR for delaying the game so much just to produce a game so unpolished - but on the other hand I still enjoy this game A TON; so for me, I'm alright with it.    … Expand

The fact that people stand by this is unbelievable with theAtrocious, I was looking forward to this game for so many years and had faith in this company but I feel absolutely deceived by them. The story itself is great and I love the world, but the low FPS, the bugs, the crashes and most importantly the graphics in this game are ridiculous!! This looks like a low budget ps2-ps3 title.     Muchos problemas, mal optimizado, incluso en la PS5 funciona mal, se vieran tardado mas tiempo pero que funcionara bien, espero con las actualizaciónes mejore, de la 1.02 a la 1.04 si mejor en texturas al menos

    unplayable!!! the load time and bugs in this game are unacceptable after years of delay. i had to restart the game more than 10x due to glitches and gamebreaking bugs. even after patch 1.04, same issues are still rampant.

    announced for ps4/xb1 but after 8 years with many delays the graphic still like sh*t and bugs and glitches appear frequently, CD Projekt still have a lot to learn from Naughty Dogs and Ubisoft.

    It saddens me to add my review to the growing list of angry fans because I had such high hopes for this game. I wanted this game to blow their competition out the water. Unfortunately, that is not the case. This game is a mess! And I played about 35 hours on the PS5, yes the new console! The game has so many bugs. Here is a list of what I am experiencing over and over again:
    - The game    It saddens me to add my review to the growing list of angry fans because I had such high hopes for this game. I wanted this game to blow their competition out the water. Unfortunately, that is not the case. This game is a mess! And I played about 35 hours on the PS5, yes the new console! The game has so many bugs. Here is a list of what I am experiencing over and over again:
    - The game constantly crash
    - When NPCs call V’s cell their FaceTime image is all jacked up and fuzzy - As a passenger in an NPC car (storyline mission require me to ride shotgun) they drive slow and unrealistic - The streets are empty in many parts of the city (this is not overpopulated city, it looks remote actually)
    - NPCs have missing faces and body parts during cut scenes
    - V’s dialog choices glitch that force you to only select one option - The characters look away and speak to the walls - V motorcycle shuts down on a way to a mission point and I have to sprint the final metes to the location
    - Guns go missing during battles

    This is atrocious! I’m so heartbroken. God, I wanted this game to be great. They should have taken at least another year with this and put it out on the PS5 as intended. In closing, wait to buy this game. It needs MONTHS of work!! Yes, it is fun, when playable, but the bugs will kill any enjoyment you may have. Trust me on this one. This game is not ready for consumers. It needs months of work. A+ for the vision, story, theme, content and side missions, but a massive F for putting this out to consumers in this state.     I am not one to give a game a rating of zero, however, on the PS4 Pro, the game is absolutely unplayable. I paid $64 for the Cyberpunk 2077 tab. Since I'm not able to even play the game I paid for, I cannot give it any other rating but zero.

    What a disgrace to release a game in this condition, it’s very close to being unplayable on ps4 pro, my game crashed 6 times in one day, the performance is absolutely horrendous, the graphics are so poor (for ps4 pro) and the bugs... so many bugs. Many people have been robbed for their money.

I can't wait for the true Next Gen Version in 2021. I can understand the base PS4 complains but this game is extremely hardware intensive and the ps4 is 2013 hardware.     I’m about 25 hours into this gem!! I have seen one bug so far where Jackie’s motercycle flies around and smashes into stuff after he gets off of it. Once the second patch dropped I noticed some more graphical improvement. I think story is amazing so far and combat is very challenging on hard. I honestly feel this game will be another masterpiece by CD Projekt Red we just need to beI’m about 25 hours into this gem!!     Was so excited for this game, even stood up for it before release but within 30 minutes of play I realized that the graphics are worse than a ps2 top rated game. GTA at best. But even worse, atleast gta functioned. I really wanted this to be a good game but, RDR2 was waaaaay better, even AC Valhalla is better in gameplay and graphics.

    Just throwing in my 2 star review. I want to love the game on PS4 but I can’t. Absolute corporate greed (ironic given the themes of the game)! The game runs horrifically on PS4, it feels about 70% finished, with no polish.

    I heavily regret pre-ordering this and feel like there should be legal action (or change in legislation) to prevent this predatory, false marketing practice. Never again.

Unfortunately, I have to say that this the reality of this game pales in comparison to the fantasy world I thought I would enter upon its initial release. So far, the game has crashed a total of 8 times. The sprites and models constantly disappear and reappear based on the distance you are from them (entire human beings vanishing and reappearing out of thin air). The "quality" graphics touted in pre-release gameplay and ads is a lie. The frame rate constantly plummets, and sometimes the game freezes altogether. Visually, I suppose it looks okay. But when games like Spiderman PS4 look better than a game LITERALLY CREATED for next gen consoles,...and you don't even want to imagine what it looks like on other consoles. The game mechanics are extremely confusing and feel "incomplete". Due to the lack of in-game signs and cues during tasks, there are many missions that are difficult, if not IMPOSSIBLE to complete. I'm not kidding. We literally cannot progress through the game anymore. It's essentially unplayable. Many aspects of the game feel incomplete. Unfortunately, this game was completed under time-sensitive circumstances, from what I've heard. It was rushed. Prior, I was hopeful for it to release as soon as possible. But artistry takes patience, and this would have probably been amazing if they'd given it an additional year or two.
    Basically, this game is broken. I'd compare Cyberpunk 2077 to a broken toy. It's design is wonderous, amazing, and astounding in every way, and the toy itself is great. But it's broken, so it doesn't matter how amazing it is or intended to be. It's broken. You can't use it. You can't operate. You can't rate it. It's a broken, unplayable game. Empty. $60 wasted. While the world is incredible, I can't enjoy the game with the low FPS, crashes, blurry visuals. Considering review codes for consoles copies were not sent out, CDPROJECT RED were obviously trying to hide how buggered this version of the game was

    - The duck/unduck button share with dialogue cancel button, which can cause accidentally skip dialogue.

    - No consistent confirm/yes button. some of them i press X, some of them I press square. Please be consistent.
    - The driving experience is really bad. The car is too hard to control and very floaty.
    - Personally I still much prefer 3rd person view, I feel more connected to my character in 3rd person.
    3. False marketing
    - CDPR claimed the game work well in PS4, obviously not.
    - They promised no compromises on 18+ materials, but I see a lot censorship even my censor option is off. Also not enough gore when shoot on opponent.
    - I know this from other review, romance choices and progression is disappointing, especially for a RPG game.
    - CDPR claim they stand on LGBT+ community, but from the characters creation option, the game still draw a line between binary of male and female (based on voice), non-binary group representative is diluted way too much.
    4. **** business practices
    - No review on console version prior to launch, and stopping reviewer post game footage and review console is not fair to console players.
    - CDPR employees are forced to crunch the game by hook and by crook, and this is the result that we get. Again falsely claim by CDPR top management employees are treated fairly and no crunch.

    Summary: The game is obviously made with PC in mind, no optimisation and though was implemented in the console version. Do aware the game was firstly announce to release on PS4, Xbox One and PC, by this standard, the game should work, at least playable state, in these 3 platforms at launch. Using pandemic as excuse is irresponsible and cheap giving the game was suppose to launch before the pandemic happen. This just show the poor management of CDPR, and the game is poorly coordinated and put together. Unless i see a massive change in the management, I lose my trust on CDPR in game development, and will not buy another game from them.    … Expand

    Cyberpunk 2077 for the PS4 is one of the most disrespectful products a client could buy, and loses its badge of trust.
    Announced in 2013, released to the XBOX One/PS4 generation as a near-unplayable game, full of bugs, glitches and performance issues.
    A score of 2/10 in my eyes feels more than it should.

    I'm playing on PS5 and really don't understand all the hate, especially about stuff that doesn't matter. Is the game unpolished and could have used some patchwork prior to release? Yes. Is the game play fun, world and story captivating, and basically like playing bladerunner the game? Hell yes. I would say people just like to hate on stuff and it's a great game so far.

It is essentially an early access version of the game, and would recommend waiting 6 to 12 months whilst the bugs are ironed out. Incredibly dodgy of CD Project Red not disclosing how this game ran on the PS4 before release.

    What i don't like on this game :
    1. Bug. 2. Game Crush. 3. Below average Story.
    4. Boring Characters.
    5. Terrible Voice Acting, especially japanese character talking English (It's makes me Cringe, It's clearly English speaker talking English with japanese accent.
    6. Average Gameplay.
    7. Poor RPG system.
    8. Ridiculous Game file Size.

    I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive.     Cyberpunk 2077 is a game brimming with potential, and it damn near reaches it on so many occasions, but the pitfalls of its development ultimately drag it down. There's still a lot to like here for RPG fans and lovers of the genre, but it's far from the generation-defining masterwork that the world was waiting for.
