Oct 17, 2020The oldest house architecture is the coolest setting for long time in games. Game play is solid Remedy quality and the there's nice tricks to take advantage in battles. Points from nine to ten because Ahti with his Finnish idioms in English.

Oct 14, 2020Flawed, yet endearing, Control channels the likes of Prey, Alan Wake, and Max Payne in the best and worst respects of its presentation. Even with prevalent technical issues and frame drops across all platforms, the title proves itself as being a unique and highly entertaining experience that has the potential of becoming a definitive cult classic later down the line.

Oct 7, 2020Fascinating game, graphics and storytelling are the two best parts of this game.

Oct 4, 2020GREAT GRAPHICS! Maybe ahead of it's current generation. Story is great and the odd play makes it awesome

it has that green-grey vibe of misery ala all them hip netflix movies. -
Sep 23, 2020This game got a great world-building. I found the start a little bit rough because I did not understand everything. But that`s what makes the game so great, mysteries. You don`t understand everything and this is what makes it so special.
The gameplay is pretty standard, nothing incredible. But the world, the story, and the side quests shine really well. I just want to find more lore every time. -
Sep 21, 2020For me one of the best games in the last 3 years.
Good story, interesting setting & the game physics is great.
Can I have some more, please. A 10 out of 10 -

Sep 11, 2020I played the game but didn’t finish it the game did not run great on my PS4 pro, the game don’t deserve a zero , but after they screwed there customers over upgrading to next gen I will not support this game or any future game coming from this developer

Sep 9, 2020I enjoyed the first 2 hours or so. I would be able to enjoy this a lot more if there was a difficulty adjustment option or at least some health regen. I found the game stupidly easy and then stupidly difficult which sucks because the story seems like it might be good. Unfortunately I will never know.

Sep 7, 2020I felt like the game had much more potential. But the story kept getting more irrelevant to me. The gameplay was good enough to keep me playing. The main character is pretty boring, well basically all characters are. Overall a mediocre game in my opinion.

Sep 3, 2020Good game! Dynamic gameplay, lots of ways to engage in combat, very fluid. Good!

Sep 1, 2020One of the most fascinating and out of this world stories I have ever experienced in gaming. Aside from maybe God Of War 4, RDR2 and RE, I NEVER read every piece of lore I run into within a game world, however, Control's would is so interesting, I just couldn't get enough of the weirdness you learn about while playing this game.

Aug 30, 2020Fun game with really enjoyable gameplay and interesting story. Unfortunately it gets repetitive at times when opponents are attacking you while traveling from point A to point B, also the story stretches a bit to long.
-
Aug 26, 2020Control gives an impression of an unfinished game. It probably could have been a nice game if it was not full of glitches, freezing screen moment, bad map system and unimpressive shooting combat.
-
Aug 26, 2020I loved the gameplay and things you can do but the timeline of the story was different from remedy’s games i liked game but it has to many problems with the story

Playstation Official Magazine UKSep 25, 2019Impactful gunplay bolstered by a telekinetic twist, and a mystery you’ll be turning over for a long time afterwards. Welcome to the Oldest House, Director. [Issue#167, p.79]

Sep 18, 2019The writing, direction, and performances are consistently brilliant. This is Remedy at the peak of its game. Control feels like a company rediscovering itself, waking from a long slumber. Remedy’s legs work as intended once more, the vestiges of sleep paralysis a distant memory.

Sep 17, 2019I don’t want to use the word masterpiece lightly, but what else do you call the combination of gleefully chaotic gameplay with earnest storytelling in a setting as refreshingly unique as Bioshock? What else do you call a combat system that goes so far beyond the simple act of shooting a gun without drilling down into a set of intricate menus and complicated controls? What else do you call darkly malevolent horror that doesn’t feel like it was cribbed from someplace else? What else do you call the crowning achievement of a studio with a unique voice, an uneven track record, and 25 years of experience? If there’s a better word to describe what Remedy has achieved with Control, I can’t think of it.
