Jan 29, 2020Problems aside though Blacksad: Under the Skin is an interesting tale of murder and corruption that presents in one of the best takes on the adventure game formula-multiple endings, choices that really matter, and a cast of characters that are extremely engaging. I never felt like the story was coming out of left field with its ideas, and was shocked when I started figuring out what was happening. I love this game and if the Life Is Strange or one of the many Telltale series has ever been enjoyable, I think there’s a lot of enjoy in Blacksad.

Nov 27, 2019Despite the technical problems and in movements, Blacksad has proved to be a pleasant experience. History keeps interest from the beginning to the end; the characters have character and contribute their involvement in the story; The ability to gather objects and research, make the gameplay more exciting and, in the end, there is a real need to make sound decisions and solve the case successfully.

Nov 19, 2019Blacksad: Under the Skin is a game that detective fans will like with a new case that could be taken from the original comics, but the technical problems weigh too much on the final result and we will see if in the future they can be solved.

Nov 13, 2019In terms of narration and atmosphere, Blacksad: Under the Skin is true to the comic album series. However, problems concerning some interactive components and the presence of bugs and glitches can’t be ignored.
-
Nov 18, 2019Blacksad: Under the Skin is a true adaptation of the comic album series created by Juan Diaz Canales and Juanjo Guarnido but delivers an overall frustrating experience due to technical issues.
-
Dec 3, 2019Blacksad: Under The Skin is a specific case where an overall good game gets totally ruined by the appalling technical side of things. Go for the PC version as it shows a much better finish.

Nov 19, 2019Even if you’re not familiar with Blacksad’s previous adventures, fans of games like L.A. Noire or any of the Telltale adventures will find something to like about Blacksad: Under the Skin. It’s a real shame, then, that the game is so buggy on release. Numerous technical issues really spoil what would otherwise be a very entertaining whodunit.

Playstation Official Magazine UKDec 17, 2019It’s got passion but is far from having all the answers. We can’t recommend what we played but hope that a patch has addressed the bugs obscuring its bright ideas. [Issue#170, p.90]

Nov 25, 2019I really, really wanted to like Blacksad: Under the Skin. I love the original graphic novels and just wanted this to be an interactive version of that. Perhaps it could have been, but we're unlikely ever to know thanks to a torrent of technical faults that kill any enjoyment it might give. Pendulo Studios need to urgently fix nearly every aspect of Blacksad: Under the Skin on PS4, and until they do that, this is one mystery best left unsolved.
