    No where near as bad as what people are saying, not sure what people were expecting. I'd give it a 7/10 myself, but putting 10 to counter the ridiculous 0s from people expecting every release to be a billion dolla AAA game (and even a lot of those suck anyway, cough cough AC Valhalla)

    I've been waiting for this game since I played the demo at gamescon 2017. I was very disappointed when playing the final release.
    The biggest problem is that the combat is **** I was playing a dual meelee weapon build but I had to cheese (run around in circles and use my gun) almost every fight for the first like 15-20 hours. Another complaint I have is that it's not really fun (or worth    I've been waiting for this game since I played the demo at gamescon 2017. I was very disappointed when playing the final release.

Another complaint I have is that it's not really fun (or worth it) to explore the world, you'll explore the world by following objectives you have from your side quests, there's no reason to "explore on your own" and do your own thing, which I think an openworlder should have. The narrator is also a pain in the ass.
    The game has really good graphics though, I'll give it that.

    I've played this game now for a few hours and I think that's as far as I'm going to get. While there are a lot of concepts here that are interesting like the character creation and mixed combat of ranged and melee, I just found this game dull.     I’ve honestly struggled between a 7 and an 8 over the last couple days but I’m landing on an 8. The developers have created a unique and gorgeous world to explore with different biomes and creatures, mounts and mechs, blimps and whales. The story leaves a lot to be desired which is where I deduct my two points as this is a single player rpg.     okay, i'm not going to recommend this game. in order to better explain how i feel about this game i'm going to compare it to ordering a pizza (stick with it)

    so you order a pepperoni pizza normally right, you've got you toppings and it all tastes good together (when doesn't pizza taste good) a Biomutant pizza would be a pizza in a box, but instead of everything being combined    okay, i'm not going to recommend this game. in order to better explain how i feel about this game i'm going to compare it to ordering a pizza (stick with it)

    a Biomutant pizza would be a pizza in a box, but instead of everything being combined together to form a wonderful delicious circle of happiness. what it actually is, is a box containing-

    a base
    some pepperoni
    some sauce
    some cheese.

    that's what Biomutant is like, it *should* be really great but it's just not combined in a way that makes it enjoyable. (well to me anyway)

    After getting my GameStop pre-order early I have been able to play the game for 40 hours and Biomutant is an interesting game that takes elements from devil may cry, Horizon zero dawn and zelda breath of the wild. I think the main campaign was not that good. I also had some technical issues on my PS5 with several bugs, one game breaking. The open world is very pretty but its filled withAfter getting my GameStop pre-order early I have been able to play the game for 40 hours and Biomutant is an interesting game that takes elements from devil may cry, Horizon zero dawn and zelda breath of the wild. The open world is very pretty but its filled with stuff to just check the box. Outposts get really repetitive with very little veriety . One of the cool parts of the game is the character customization and the 6 factions. There are good factions and evil factions. This allows you to play the game as an evil or good character.

    Biomutant has very repetitive missions and poor puzzles; they all feel really similar and give a small variety. This game's repetitiveness reminds me of Ubisoft open world games which end up having a strong first 1-2 hours and then it falls off then picks up within the last 2 hours of the game.

    Overall Biomutant doesn't bring anything new to the table for open world action RPGs and copies a lot of other games and does everything worse than them . So Biomutant ends up being a 6-10 for me which I wish I could give a better score because I have been waiting for this game for years and it's very disappointing.    … Expand

    I read the reviews. And thought It's another Outriders and Avengers situation (Sorry if you like those games or are patient enough to stick through their issues).

    However, what a fun game. GET PAST THE TUTORIAL (it's horrible). Yes, they need to buff up Psi powers and work on the feel of melee. But, all of the cool gadgets and open world make it fun.     This game is very cool, the craft system is simple, you can take end game early if you want, the gamebility is easy. the game have some bugs, but it was not problem for me.

    After the patches that came out the game is amazing. I love the game. When it first came out it had a lot of bugs but now it’s great.

I really don’t understand Who talk about the graphic of ps3, it’s insane. Maybe the first hours of the game the rythm is a little slow, but because you have to learn the bases to continue the adventure. In my opinion 8.5 is the right vote. ForThis game is really fun.     A wonderful kind game, excellent immersion in a fairy tale. A beautiful world, not tricky mechanics. It is very pleasant to play it.

    So far I enjoy the game. It is a AA game don't forget. It is a very casual casual gameplay style so ideal for some relaxing gameplay after a hard work day. It is not perfect though that is for sure. But it does a lot of things right and the atmosphere stands for itself. The narrator though can be annoying at some point in time. Than turn it off.     I keep finding new things by exploring. I usually get burnt out on games fast but this one keeps giving me new tools, gears, and mounts. Idk why they bombed it, the game is addicting.

    Las primera hora de juego pueden resultar un poco engañosas porque tiene un desarrollo anormal y lento (por los diálogos). Pero superando el tutorial el juego mejora notablemente y realmente se disfruta la exploración. Puedo afirmar que el mapa tiene muy buena vista y no lo siento como un mundo vacío, es más se siente que se ha hecho con bastante cariño

    Having a blast so far. I don’t mind the narrator, the gameplay is actually quite fun, the world is beautiful and enemy design isn’t bad either. Lots to do in way of quests and crafting. It has a charm. I love the exploration. Overall it isn’t bad at all. Perhaps expectations were too high from that one announcement years ago?

    At the time I reached lvl 23 with my deadeye class, but I haven't progressed much in the main story. I only fought 1 enemy clan and since then doing lots of side quests and clearing the areas I discovered. Which also means I haven't fought a world eater yet even though I fulfill the requirements to fight 2 of them. My progress reflects that I really enjoy the exploration in this game. EvenAt the time I reached lvl 23 with my deadeye class, but I haven't progressed much in the main story. Even at lvl 20+ I discover new things and riddles that I haven't seen before. I also like the crafting, it feels rewarding to upgrade your weapon to become better and better. I basically sticked to the first weapons I got since you can transform weapons in any type you want. Combat is also fun, you benefit a lot from combos and you can vary different abilities psi + bio with your preferred playstyle ( crowd control, dots, DMG). I also like the different zones, and that there's stuff to do by mech or jetsky. The mix is good. But the game also has some flaws I would like to see patched like minor bugs or stuff like an option to dismantle useless items when you loot them, right now loot goes straight to your inventory and once you start crafting you will first spend 5 mins dismantling everything you don't need. And in most cases dismantling is better than selling since you need lots of mats for crafting and even more to upgrade. Just keep 3-4 expensive items for sale is enough. I recommend playing on hard. It's not that hard really... And playing on easy or medium takes fun out of the game cause you just buttonsmash everything and won't need any combo or super wung Fu.ps: Would normally give 8/10 but I'd like to balance out the haters giving 0-3 which has nothing to do with constructive criticism.… Expand

    Not sure why this game gets so much hate. The game oozes charm and when you have a kung-fu fighting hamster who can shoot and slash his way through an open world what more could you ask for?

    This game is absolutely amazing!! Don’t beleive the bs critics reviews this might be one of my favorite games of all time and I’ve played probably every action rpg that there is! Great job Experiment 101 I am thoroughly impressed!!

    Fun, quirky, and colorful world mixed with creative, sandbox style combat allows your imagination to run wild in a Wung-Fu fantasy adventure. Definitely has 80s era Saturday morning cartoon vibe. Recommend for people who have a soul and enjoy having fun

    I absolutely love this game. If you are a fable fan, (one of my favourite franchises) I would give this a go. It’s a fun, vibrant rpg. If you utilise the powers, melee, and guns the combat is a LOT of fun! It’s a refreshing change of pace.

For such a small team they’ve delivered a knockout blow and I can’t fault them at all.     Is a game full of content, extremely replayable and with a fun but unbalanced combat system.
    if you are interested in graphics, complex plot and enemies A.I. this game is not for you.

    Traversal of Bio-Mutants open world is an absolute joy,    Bio-Mutant is a game for people who actually like games; it isn't a pretentious political analysis ripe with virtue signalling, diversity quotas and mainstream media approved political opinions (Critic bait), it is simply a fun light hearted adventure set in a unique and beautifully crafted world inhabited by martial arts muppets.

    Traversal of Bio-Mutants open world is an absolute joy, character movement, abilities and mounts make what is normally a monotonous open world experience one of Bio-Mutants greatest assets, a feat few open world games can claim.

    The combat is simple to pick up, it's fluid and satisfying, although familiar in many ways clearly taking inspiration from multiple popular action games, Bio-mutant still maintains a uniqueness in it's execution. A large selection of weapons and abilities offer a variety of ways in which you can approach combat. Your arsenal consists of Melee and ranged weapons as well as offensive abilities (Psi and Bio), there are multiple types of melee and ranged weapons allowing for the creation of very unique and numerous playstyles.

    The extensive crafting system is a min-maxers dream allowing you to heavily focus your stats around your chosen playstyle, it's not revolutionary, however it is very well implemented, easy to use and also affects equipment appearance.

    If you long for a time when games were made to be fun and not to be some attempt at high "art" Bio-Mutant may very well be the game for you, I'm thoroughly enjoying my time with it and I'm sure you will too.    … Expand

    Simply put- I hated Biomutant! The narrator is annoying and they use a stupid baby language like “mooma” “popsi” etc. Hated that! It stunk not finding a needed suit for the environment like the no-oxygen zone. The story is really lame and wants you to choose going for the light/good side. Although it looks open-world it’s really pretty linear with waypoints to next events. It has extremelySimply put- I hated Biomutant!     I should start by saying 95% of games I play are of the open world rpg variety. I've sunk hundreds if not thousands of hours over the years into games like BOTW, Borderlands, Fallout, and Outerworlds, Red Dead Redemption, ect. so I think I have a solid understanding of all the aspects that make them enjoyable and not so enjoyable. So far I have about 40 hours of play time in Biomutant andI should start by saying 95% of games I play are of the open world rpg variety. I've sunk hundreds if not thousands of hours over the years into games like BOTW, Borderlands, Fallout, and Outerworlds, Red Dead Redemption, ect. so I think I have a solid understanding of all the aspects that make them enjoyable and not so enjoyable. So far I have about 40 hours of play time in Biomutant and I gotta say my honest opinion is that although it lacks depth and scale compared to other AAA rpg's I have played I still think its a wonderfully crafted game that is both beautiful and charming. Its relaxing to play and I love its quirky characters and story telling. Not to mention the character armor and weapon crafting is super satisfying. It seems a main complaint from players and critics is that after awhile the game feels repetitive but I know if you play any rpg long enough they all get repetitive. In every rpg i've ever played at some point or another I inevitably find myself racing through what seems like a never ending chain of fetch quest in order to finally feel the sense of achievement I get from advancing the main story without skipping anything along the way. I think the real issue with Biomutant is that some of the side missions and puzzles are too similar or simply repeated throughout the entirety of the game which I will agree makes the game feel basic and/or dated. Some people are also crying about the narrator being overbearing and claiming the names the game uses to describe things is too silly or childish. I didn't have a problem with either of these issues, for starters there is an option in the game menu to lessen the frequency that you hear the narrators voice while you play and as far as the silly naming conventions, they are no different then similar made up words used in movies like Willy Wonka, Harry Potter, or the B.F.G to list a few examples, all of which are very popular very successful movies. Other than that I really don't have anything critical to point out about the game. I really enjoy the oriental overtones in the games music score, artistic style, and combat mechanics which I feel all work together to bolster the colorful and beautifully designed world environments. Bottom line I really like Biomutant and I hope that it is successful enough where the small dev team that made it can continue to build upon the great foundation they have created and get to work crafting a bigger and better sequel in the future. 10 out of 10 to offset negative reviews I think are completely unjustified.     Let's break down the reasons.

    TECH
    GRAPHICS | 9: game is gorgeous, lush and vibrant environment, dense. Think of Horizon Zero Dawn. Not a 10 because there is a tiny bit of repetition especially in insides / bunkers
    SOUND | 8: does it's job, no outstanding OST or anything but just the right support to the game play

    GAMEPLAY
    COMBAT | 7: this is a mixed one for me. I love combat but I feel it could be polished a little bit more. What is lacking the most is "weight" especially in the melee, a more responsive and clean parry and a balancing (ranged can get overpowered fast, needs to be toned down a lot). Would be interested to have more often enemies resistant to to melee, ranged or powers
    EXPLORATION | 10: this is one of my favourite sides. I always feel encouraged to look each nook and cranny to find scrap and use it for crafting. Tons of secrets, funny and quirky things to discover. Many traversal options with vehicles, mounts and "parkour" via double jumps and weapons combos
    CRAFTING | 10: another easy top vote, hands down the best crafting system I ever seen in a RPG. NOT BOUND TO A STUPID SKILL. Tons of configurations. Results can be broke back down to their components. Very fun to create crazy weapons mixing and matching scrap. I SO LOVE IT.
    CHARACTER PROGRESSION | 8: there are ton of option, the fact that you are virtually never locked out of options is both a strength and a weakness. I cannot push the score higher here (and maybe is even generous) because sometimes the choices feel impactless, and maybe a bit more restrictions would be beneficial. Also not a fan of flat skill trees, I think it adds more depth if the skills are lined in paths to take and go deeper

    STORY
    OVERALL | 6: here we are touching the very weak points. Story is there, adds the right context to the overall world but it never got me hooked. I didn't find it compelling or special.
    DELIVERY | 5: here the weakest point for me. The character don't have interesting dialogues, often they repeat themselves. The narrator, while a reasonable choice for a "fable" as the devs call it, removes TOO MUCH SOUL from any character... they should have been voiced independently to make them memorable. Also the continuous presence of this voice makes the overall experience very flat an monotonous.     1. The narrator and the constant interruptions that stop you actually playing the game are the worst I've experienced. The game is action focused in the way the character is controlled and set-up, but the action is stopped every minute or so because of the narrator or some other thing freezing your progress. It makes it ponderous and boring.

    2. The quests and puzzles are boring, repetitive, childish and lazy in design.

    3. The loot is mostly useless and there's rarely anything to get excited about.

    4. The combat is a weird hybrid that doesn't nothing well. You don't fully lock on but you do hit them bad guys if you are generally pointing in their direction. It's just not satisfying.

    5. From the screen shots and trailers, I expected the graphics and animations to be much better - they are very poor compared to what we've seen pre-release.

    6. Game play aside, this game might have been put together by 20 people in a kind of Indy way, but they should have measured that against the price of the game i.e. not an AAA game but charging an AAA price. The game is a £29.95 game at most and I feel like I have wasted all of my money because I was not entertained at all and I just want to uninstall is and get my valuable hard drive space back.

    Unless you have some die-hard affinity towards the designers and what they are trying to do, then save your money.    … Expand

    I don't know about those really bad reviews, but I like the game. I play on Hard, it's very challenging and gives me the usual satisfaction of win a battle. The narrator gave me some lols, I don't think take him apart. The story flows like water and I can connect with the main character and his mooma. The open world works like a charm. Three abilities non consecutive fills your bar and you can make a great attack. Doing that right after I cast an ice ground, which makes the enemies slide, is a pleasure to do. I'm very happy with this game. Now I have 11 hours of gameplay and counting. Pc never crashed, I don't have any problem.

    The names of things like the microwaves or another things of everyday uses really kicks me into the game.    … Expand

    This game is great, everytime I find new loot I get excited to see what I found and it just has a bunch of cool mechanics and things to explore, reviewers are haters, how can they give games like call of duty good scores and **** on this, its like a cross between fable and zelda with way better combat, dont listen to reviewers or haters.

    First of all ignore reviews , what others believe doesnt mean that you have also to believe.....its a beautiful game . i love the way you customise your character and only that you can use an animal character, thats all for me !! love the world design ,love the big enemies!! this game is amazing!!

    Don’t go in expecting a AAA title. Go in with an open mind and some patience and you’ll see the love behind the game. Played through once and already started my second play through. Plenty of options and character choices to keep things interesting for awhile. Looking forward to Biomutant 2!!!

    No where near as bad as what people are saying, not sure what people were expecting. I'd give it a 7/10 myself, but putting 10 to counter the ridiculous 0s from people expecting every release to be a billion dolla AAA game (and even a lot of those suck anyway, cough cough AC Valhalla)

This is a love letter to simpler times when games were made to be fun, quirky and make us feel like a child again. The combat, crafting, exploration is all top notch. And open world games being some of the hardest games to make this is truly an achievement and testament of this small studios talent and creativity.     This game isn't perfect. Far from it. However the longer I play it the more I love the game. Don't follow the critical hate. Its trendy to hate things lately. Try it for yourself and have your own opinion. There is a lot of charm here and I'd hope there is a future to improve upon whats laid out.

    I was hyped before the launching and then after some reviews I got little bit sad to buy the game. Even though I bought it and for my surprising I love it. It is true the narrative is not good but I liked to explore the world to find new items and craft some awesome weapons.

    The game is good and the best price for it would be US 40.

I haven't been this intrigued by loot since borderlands. the way you can customize the weapons give it a unique look that make it feel more personal than most games. I wish more games can adopt this crafting system like dying light 2.
    The world is gorgeous in motion and have really foo draw distance it was cool seeing an area then realizing i cant o in there yet till i required the right gear for the element. I felt like so far I have been always working towards something. the music is enjoyable to and enemies have been nicely scattered through the world(although i dont think they respawn in certain area but i believe they are working on a patch).
    the combat is where i have had the most fun. it was really janky and bare bones at first but once i unlocked the wung fu combos for the gun and weapon i was using and earned a few abilities that complemented the way i play combat became a lot more smooth and fun. I do warn that this game isnt a hack and slash game or it will feel janky. once you are in a attack animation you have to finish the attack so you should be more methodical with you button inputs.
    The story is probably the weakest aspect with it being straight forward and there just to string you along the world. if you are playing just for main quest story the game is not for you. I personally have enjoyed some of the character I have came across exploring and usually found worth while upgrades, loot, mounts or mini bosses through exploration.
    the game has some jank and flaws but if im being honest I am having more fun with this game than the last few openworld I have purchased for 60$ (AC Valhalla and Fenix Rising) so I dont mind the price point comparing it off of those AAA games    … Expand

Combat system, skills and mutations give you a lot of different options you can combine to build something unique. The story isn’t very complex, you don’t get a lot of twists, so it doesn’t distract you from exploring and you can go exploring entire map, I didn’t find any things that prevented me from going anywhere I wanted to explore, aside from areas that require resistances to go in. I’m now 30-40 hrs in game without even killing first world eater. Not sure on New Game+, but it opens you all class bonuses, so you can combine a best from multiple classes, and this is worth exploring. It’s actually first time I’m considering New Game+, after completing Witcher 3, Red Dead Redemption 2, Horizon Zero Dawn and this is mostly because exploring here is much more fun. Disregard all bad reviews, try it out yourself and make your own opinion. Experiment 101 continues to work on the game and I’m sure they will improve it based on gamers feedback further. They managed to build nice world that’s worth further content build on it.… Expand

    Biomutant is a fantastic game with a fresh take and unique gameplay. The world is colorful and the characters have a fun charm. While the game is not perfect I hope to see more from the game and the developers. Highly recommend if you are looking for a fresh take on the post-apocalyptic open world genre.

    The main issue with this game on PS4 is how poor it runs. Even turning the frame rate down doesn't help with the drops and general stuttering that happens when you're just running around the map. Add a bunch of enemies on top of that and it literally gave me a headache when I was trying to maneuver around during combat. Disappointed that I can't get a refund.

The the environments look nice at first glance but there is some serious texture popping and most of the game world is somewhat empty. Then there's bad combat, audio issues and just the general blandness of the entire game. And being a small studio is not an excuse for putting out a bad game.

    Karma - It's useless. The funny thing is you'll come across shrines in graveyards. some are dark. some are light. You have no idea what one it is until you activate it. But if you're worried and wanna be light just pick up every animal you see "pet and keep" and your light will be in the majority easily. Yes the system is useless. And feels worthless.

    Quests - You know those RPGs where you have a favourite quest, one that just resonated with you - whether it's Mass Effect, Skyrim, Final Fantasy, Tales of, etc. This game has none of those. No quest that makes it feel worthwhile. No quest with a storyline that you enjoy.

    Combat - it can be fun, but that wares off by level 25. So in the end you make sure you have a fire sword for armoured and shield enemies. And your rifle takes care of anything else. There's a variety of weapons don't get me wrong, especially the tribe ones but they're not all that good. The only one that made me smile was a burning rolling pin.

    Mounts - The only useful one is the googlide, but even then if you see a body of water and think wow the googlide would be perfec... it doesn't summon everywhere. Only in certain areas like the rest of the transports. They're mostly used for bosses or the blimp to reach an area you can't get to otherwise. (in this game if you can't pick up, use or get to an area there's usually a convoluted quest on the other side of the world in 6 parts that helps you)

    Levelling up/Gear - There's loads of loot, but most of it will be useless. In fact 90% ends up being useless. But there's plenty of it. So there's that.

    Puzzles - even with a decent intelligence some of them can't be solved in the moves given. it's randomly set up each time. So you'll get it, they're not difficult, some are just impossible given the amount of moves they give you. The only interesting ones are the X, Y and Z but they're in short supply.

    Graphics - the game is pretty and it's a fairly large world. Dark in areas especially nuclear fallout underground.

    Also if you're going to play it, as I did on the PS5. Keep a manual save updated regularly. The game only crashed twice but each time it corrupted the two autosaves that the game keeps.

    It's a 6, it would have been a 7 but the terrible fast travel system, the poorly written quests. The terrible male orientated characters (you'll come across maybe 3 female characters out of 16 and none of the tribe leaders are female). You can change the frequency of the narrator. Do that. Straight away.

    Just be prepared for repetition which would make any MMORPG blush.    … Expand

    The game itself looks amazing and I have to credit the devs for a lot of creative potential which is absolutely shining in this game but this is where the positive vibes already end. The game runs terrible on Playstation consoles. It is a 1080p60fps on PS5 and still has great trouble with stutters, texture pop-ins and occasional hang-ups. Whenever you travel too fast, kill an enemy or there is just too much happening the game freezes for a mere second or has very bad hiccups. Basically this disqualifies a game for me as being good and recommendable.

    Beyond that the introductionary part in this game is horrible. Players get flooded by command prompts within minutes and after that cutscenes happen every few minutes rendering game immersion and "getting used to it" to insignificance. Looking deeper the game falls apart even more because the target aim is all over the place resulting in misses or getting hit. The game is so buggy, that sometimes you do specials but you cant hit because the game engine misses the collision progress. The combat itself tries to be deep by having categories and classes but honestly... it is most of the time just button mashing.

    The UI and UX is also not the best. It seems that is has been tuned to seem modern but lacks practical placement. The menu is not intuitive by any means and you will find yourself pressing the wrong buttons over and over.

    Gamewise I do like my random fetch quests and this is fine after all but the quests are really that bad and the loot is insignificant. I found a handful of weapons on my playthrough the rest must be crafted. Most of the loot is trash and not worth grabbing at all. I think this is especially again for casual players not the best design.

    Now the game comes down to boss fights and where it matters you often dont control your character as usual but you are bound to use a device, mount or something like that. Ontop they tried to layer boss mechanics to make it appealing but failed completely in doing so leading to boss fights that are terrible finnicky and can be frustrating especially for casual players on console controllers.

    Closing with one more very existential point. The story feels very bad, the constant narration gets overloading and the gibberish as well as the words used to describe the "fantasy world" makes it even worse and uninteresting. Half way through the game I just skipped through the dialogues.

    I think there was a lot passion in developing the game but it feels bad to invest full price into a game that is just not worth it at all. I had some fun moments, but mostly I just wanted to get over with it. I do not recommend this game at the moment and even with performance and bug fixes which are needed bothways, the game still lacks. If you are still interested in this game I HIGHLY recommend to wait for at least 50% of sale and lower initial expectations.    … Expand

    I don't understand what is the reason for such a large number of negative reviews. Game journalism sucks these days. I definitely liked the game, it has flaws, in the narrative, in the technical part (some issue with shadows on ps4), but nothing critical.

The game also has philosophical thoughts about good and evil. It's such a weird and nice hybrid of Ratchet and Clank, Fable and Borderlands.

    It’s an exploration based game and the amount of fun content is great. If you like interesting and rewarding exploration you should give this game a fair chance. It does indeed have some jank but it is not game breaking and I think most people that are into these types of games will find a lot to like.

    i really tried and want to love this game but it just feels like an indie game rather than AAA and the narrator... stopping you play the game every other minute, its 1min gameplay then unnecessary cutscene where you lose all control.

    This game is a mess in all of its aspects, it feels like a joke, one you have to pay for LOL The amount of people who worked on it has nothing to do with the game they delivered. If you cant make it, don't overscope, and more important, don't sell an unfinished pile of assets and nonsense like an AAA. If you really like this game, you need to play more.

I hope there's a sequel. This, along with RE8, were two great choices for preorder in my eyes. I got burned on outriders (it wouldn't run without crashing for 2 months).

    If you think you will like this game get it. The gameplay is exactly what it looks like. I have zero complaints. I especially love the goofy characters, the way they talk, the way they look, and the crafting system is so cool. Toilet plunger stapled to a butcher knife? Check. Magic? Check. Upgrade systems galore :). I've never seen a game so panned that i liked. Usually critic reviews guide me but i think this is an 8.5 out of 10, but my son thinks it's an 11 so I'll compromise and rate it 10 for both of us. Get it if you can afford it or at least get it on sale in a month. Devs are also patching in new features they said. Just look at the biomutant reddit. It's full of love. Like i said, I've never disagreed with critics so badly before. I really don't understand why they panned it because after beating RE8 i needed another good game and i definitely got it. And the fact it was made by about 20 people blows my mind. Add in the pubkishers self aware jokes and you have a recipe for a winner. 10/10 would preorder again (i RARELY say that)    … Expand

    ma che schifezza è sto gioco? ma che è na pagliacciata? mai vista sta grafica cosi schifosa in oltre dieci anni che gioco, ridicolo farlo pagare 59 euro. Gioco noiosissimo e bruttissimo, e quel coglione che parla in continuazione per dirti quello che devi fare e come giocare. Faccio fatica a trovare un gioco più brutto nella mia ludoteca.     Худшая игра этого года из крупных проектов. Разбили все надежды в пух и прах. Мало того что уныло, так ещё и с оптимизацией под ПС5 не смогли. Поставил 2 бала только в память о дарксайдерс.

    For on open-world action RPG developed by a handful of people, Biomutant makes a very striking impression. It’s hard for me to imagine someone not falling in love with the beautiful, unique world conjured up by Experiment 101. Sure, the game as a whole is not perfect, but if a sequel is ever created, I’ll be the first in line to play it. [07/2021, p.38]

    From creating your own character to a wide array of vehicles and a unique world, there’s a lot to love in Biomutant – which makes its shallowness all the more disappointing. The inconsistent battle system and the amount of bugs doesn’t make things any better. While the game certainly knows how to hook you, the fun doesn’t last very long.

    Biomutant tries to do a lot of interesting things. It offers a potentially captivating world and unique crafting mechanics. Even the combat's fine, on the surface. The game, however, doesn't exactly play well, with clumsy controls, repetitive missions and an overemphasis on drawn-out dialogue that bores instead of inspires. This really could (and should) have been a lot better than it is.
