    I really dont know what i can say, i was really hyped and after release i was dissapointed, because so many female soldiers on the Battlefield, Gas Mask fetish and no content. Graphics are great but no more. Really sad.

    I love the mechanics and the aminations. I like the fast-pace movement. And the gun play can be intense. Overall, the game is unbalanced right now.

    DICE has fallen so far since Battlefield 3. One would think it would be difficult for DICE to fall lower than the state Battlefield 4 released in but they've managed to outdo themselves with Battlefield 5. it's baffling how DICE managed to underdeliver on a World War II game.

    Not only did they lie to the community about not nerfing TTK but they also completely left the Russians out of    DICE has fallen so far since Battlefield 3. One would think it would be difficult for DICE to fall lower than the state Battlefield 4 released in but they've managed to outdo themselves with Battlefield 5. it's baffling how DICE managed to underdeliver on a World War II game.

    Traditionellement, c'était à peu près le juste équilibre entre simu et arcade. Avec le 5 je pense sincérement que c'est encore plus arcade que Call of Duty ! C'est devenu grotesque ! Si jamais vous avez fait un break à partir du 3 ou avant, oubliez Battlefield.

    Mention spéciale à l'équilibrage des armes, de certaines maps, aux glissades, à la vitesse de déplacement délirante et j'en passe. A en pleurer pour les fans de la première heure !!!

    Si j'y joue c'est uniquement parce que je l'ai acheté au prix fort (j'avais fait un break après le 3).
    Mais c'est le dernier BF que je paierai !

    The story is super disappointing, not sure if you can even call it a story. Battlefield should take its previous games story’s as an example such as bf3 and bf4 which were incredibly action packed. The multiplayer feels awkward and boring. Not the WW2 game everyone was waiting for.

    I put a lot of hours into this game and I am really questioning why I played it so much. There were a lot of interesting things they did with it but overall its got flaws and years later there are still a lot of bugs there shouldn't be.     Самая худшая часть в серии. Мало карт, оружия, зато много шкурок за донат, дисбаланс команд. Всегда одна команда доминирует, если у первых 5 игроков по 15к очков. то у второй команды по 5к очков. Даже если начнется новый матч, то ничего не изменится. Либо проносите за 5 мин, либо терпите.. Проигрывающие ливают, поэтому велик шанс того, что присоединитесь только ради поражения.. А ливаютСамая худшая часть в серии. Мало карт, оружия, зато много шкурок за донат, дисбаланс команд.     Ну и конечно отсутствие СССР... Есть нег... простите, Афро-Нацисты, есть девочки-инвалиды-с-крюками взрывающие танки и сметающие на своем пути всех врагов.... Но нет победителей...
    Хоть я и получил по ПС+, но все равно какой-то осадок остался... Не тратьте свои деньги, а уж тем более свое время на этот высер.    … Expand

    As peculiaridades da Dice continuam ali. Quando vc mata vários inimigos com HS de sniper e ele começa a fazer a contagem baixinho. Os detalhes, gráficos. Maravilhosos. A gunplay é muito boa também, mas a imersão simplesmente não existe. É um jogo de guerra com armas antigas. Não tem nada de segunda guerra. O feeling, nada.

    This game has its ups and downs. It is an alright game. Sure, the whole WW2 era that the game is in is amazing, but the game is just really ok. The physics can be really wonky. The plane physics when you crash suck. And when you get blown up, you go all over the place. There are tons of bugs, and some of the maps just suck. BF4 was definitely the best game.

    Конечно сюжета 5ой батлы хуже чем у первой, там такой стелс чуть ли не - обязательный есть, что аж тупит... Без него ракетные удары просто ваншотят. Примерные мысли гейм дизайнера: - Игра про войну, про нереальное единство единиц юнитов и техники    Впервые встретил столько багов на плойке. There is nothing good about Battlefield V, other than its gunplay, which is decent at best. Battlefield V tries to be a accurate depiction of World War 2 and it fails. The war stories are really shallow and it is quite clear that it is trying to push a feminist agenda. And I am not angry because women are in the game, just take a look at Battlefield 1. It includes a woman in the story and everyone is fine with it because there is a REASON. The only reason I have not rated Battlefield V a 2 is because of the multiplayer. The mechanics have been refined and the progression system is good. There was also quite a variety of maps at launch. I would be damned if I did not mention all of the bugs. They were a big problem for the game at launch and even though it mostly has been fixed you can still spot a couple of bugs that have not been fixed. Overall I would recommend Battlefield V for people who just like to shoot at other people in Multiplayer but for the single player lover this is a huge NO. EA and DICE please do not screw up Battlefield 6 or whatever it will be called.… Expand

    The gameplay that they show us and the real gameplay don't look like the same game. All de damn game sneaky and stealth missions with some seconds of action. Even the tank mission is undercover. Lucky I did not pay for the game. Absolutely trash. Only the norwegian mission have my respect because is origina and well executed.

    Спасибо вам , что бросили игру сделав лишь 4 стороны конфликта, взяли и наплевали на своих поклонников, думаю это отразиться на будущих серии, придётся сильно потрудиться , что бы вернуть доверие.     As Battlefield has progressed you can see how hard they 'try' to give you the best experience possible in a first person shooter. Unfortunately they have crammed so much in that it's become a beautiful tragedy. None of the levels feel epic or have any main focal point to fight over, this is probably done so that there's pockets of fighting all over the map. The problem then with console gamers who don't use their headpieces, there's total lack of team work, making the experience scatty.

    The ability to build fortresses is a great idea but has never really proved itself to be a valuable part of the gameplay and in many cases seems pointless as maps generally are too open.

    The UI outside of the game is sluggish and in-game feels overdone, you can reduce the HUD which is always a welcome touch.

    In BFV The guns feels so restricted, I don't know if it's because of the era i.e. WW2 or it's just that they don't feel weighted, or tactile. I remember playing previous games and wanting to shoot my rifle to hear the sounds, see the bullets drop and hit walls far away. Now there's none of that atmosphere which separated it from other games like COD.

    With these great explosions, sounds and detail, it seems to have turned the game into a cinematic you feel detached from.

    It all feels like you are being pulled in one direction with the Battlefield franchise and have no way of creating your own experience and in turn, is taking all the excitement away.    … Expand

    I paid for a premium that I didn't get. no night map, generally abandoned game development. very ugly customer approach. I will never buy anything from them again for the premiere. big disappointment through it all. NEVER BUY FOR PREMIERE! SHAME ON YOU!

    Battlefield V had a hard start... As a big Battlefield fan since many years I followed the development with worry lines... Battlefield always deafted CoD imo because of the huge atmospheric and "relastic" gameplay...
    There were times when u could even improve your history knowledge while playing BF, because of the places and battles...

    And then this trailer with the undefeatable super cyborg girl appeared.. I am still annoyed by the communication between the developers and the fans and can't accept this "let's change history, because developers daugthers might want to be a cyborg superhero in WW2 and media has to show that girls can be anything, because its 2010s"... exhausting...

    Beside this the gameplay is actually cool. I like the WW2 setting, it just fits so much to this huge typical BF battles... The maps are awesome, it looks good, the engine with the destroyable world is fun, there are no 1000 have to play dlc (effen thoug I would ve actually bought 1 Addon if the content would ve been worth it) which is unfortunately not normal anymore.
    The whole atmosphere is super epic, the sounds and graphics with all those details gives you the feeling to be part of it. There are a lot of interesting different weapons, the hits/kill feedback is cool and there are those epic moments when u are defending on your own in a complety lost position, just you and your mg42 against dozens of attackers you are mowing down, while a airplane drops right next to you into a decomposed stable. That's what I call an battlefield moment. And I think thats beautiful.

    My critics: developers behavior like mentioned, no more support - like really? An WW2 shooter with no Russians and "Ostfront" maps, beside this finland themed one? .. thats a shame, few bugs and idk how but some long-term competitive involved would've been nice for the replay effect.. like a rating system or something and the balancing of airplanes can be annoying if you play against 2 good pilots.

    With an USSR Update and a Stalingrad map it would've been a 9.5/10 for me.

    Now the BFV booked has been closed. I really hope they won't follow this "dark path" with the next chapter that I am afraid of... a path full of microtransections, unrealistic jetpack knife kills and muilticolored bunny skins out of season pass lootboxes.    … Expand

    The story idea is quite good although the various storylines are all too short to get you engaged with the characters. The multiplayer is fun although it all feels like a bit of a let down after how amazing Battlefield 1 was.

To put it crudely, this game feels very cheap, the gameplay, the weapons, the hit markers, the little bugs and graphics glitches you experience.... It just doesn't feel finished. The soundtrack doesn't fit, there is just no WW2 feeling, in BF1 I felt like I was just in the war, I have never had such a good feeling in aI spent several hours in this game. Казалось бы, забили вы на Восточный фронт ( хотя его можно было преподнести любимым методом ЕА в виде ДЛС по цене как половина игры, уверен что купили бы как горячие пирожки ), но где тогда Нормандия, освобождение Франции, Арденны и прочее? События выглядят как стимпанк в стиле сороковых - пятидесятых годов в другой реальности, с целыми батальонами женщин. Ракеты выносящие всю команду, орущие бабы на немецком, негры бегающие за нацистов, жахнутая кастомизация бойцов позволяет нарядиться в фуражку офицера СС, шорты и мундир генерала. Максимальный плевок в лица фанатам серии и сеттинга, зато угодили всей левацкой движухе которая дальше тик тока и твиттера не вылезает.     Nazi-ism isn't a "there are good people on both sides" kinda thing. It should just be condemned. And as an American I don't want to play the Nazis slaughtering American GIs. Worse, this gives anti-American Neo-Nazis and white supremacists a way to live out their fantasies. You'd think there wouldn't be a lot of people like that. But it's now clear that's the entire Republican Party -- i.e. tens of millions of people -- which fights to kill as many Americans as possibly by weakening the fight against the virus, destroy the American economy by pushing all the money into the coffers of cash hoarders, and replace democracy with authoritarianism such as the Jan 6 insurrection.

    The game is very immersive and just straight up fun. the only reason its not 10 is because in every match there's that one guy running around with a katana killing everyone. that ruins the emersion.

    After last BF this is really so good. Optimization and gameplay on a mid level, but we don't have any other good BF with live online. I recommended this if you wanna play some BF!

    I ranked it that high, because I’ve had a really good time playing it. I admit, the game has huge problems, but I can live with them. A big point why I like that game is because, you can build stuff (trenches, sand sacks and more) and the vehicles are better than ever. Some weapons are pointless, but most of them are playable.

    Maps are either too bright or too dark, spotting system is broken where you are easily spotted and planes destroy infantry, inaccurate history depiction with swaztika removed, maps arent that good. The destruction is ok for the buildings. There were times when I got killed from running around corners. The campaign is laughable and untrue. The developer mocks its fans

It is not like the hardware came as a surprise. I play with ps 4 pro on full HD, should be able to run without these issues.

    Bf5 was truly a frustrating experience for me.

    Nearly everything that made the mechanics work well in BF3 & 4 were pitched. Anything resembling progression is gone, replaced by skins? Multiplayer is a joke. 4-person squads? In a game that support 32 to a side? I need to unfriend a bunch of people because in a PS party of 8 people, we're not getting into the same squad. Frack if we're lucky to get into the same game let alone on the same side — it's ridiculous! previous Battlefields at least understood the complexities of managing large teams and tried to give you the tools to do it: ability to have separate audio chat for teams and squads; separate squads in PS4 parties would still typically join onto the same side; ability to change sides if balancing got messed up; enemy marking that actually worked; etc.

    After BF:H, I swore I wouldn't go all out on a BF preorder, and I didn't. I didn't even preorder BF5 at all — I bought the disc in the discount bin at GameStop and I'm glad I didn't pay more than that.

    This is probably my last Battlefield. It's just a shame that they not only forgot what made BF great, but they stopped listening to the paying fans that helped build the franchise.

I've got RDR2/RDO and there's a ton of F2P games that don't have the stupid buggy-ness that BF5 has (getting sniped through walls in houses you're not even touching, getting sniped with LMGs, stupid spawn points that make no sense, FUBARd medics that reload their weapons instead of reviving, etc.) and have behavior that just makes sense (how many times do you have no idea why you died in BF5?)    … Expand

    Surprised this has such ridiculously low user scores, as in my opinion it has the best gunplay in the series. Really enjoy all aspects of BF5's multiplayer I've sunk dozens of hours across all maps, and I really think the game is in a great state now with balanced guns and a detailed and interesting variety of locations. However do not even try playing the campaign, it sucks dick.

    In many ways, Battlefield V feels like a big step backwards for the franchise. The campaign is boring and frustrating, multiplayer is unbalanced, and bugs keep popping up in every mode to ruin the experience. The fortification system is a good shakeup, but the good it brings is tempered by the cumbersome and murky Grand Operations. With some patches, balance changes and bug squashing, BFV could be a fantastic game, but at the moment, this soldier needs to go back to basic training.
