    Worst game from DICE. I don`t know if half of Dice team still works there but this is just a big disappointment. I have played all BF's and i must say that BF 1 is the last one i could call it just a bit Battlefield. Even on that i`m not totally sure of. But this one, OMFG i can`t believe that in 2018-2020 you can`t make a balanced game with good maps and mechanics. Everything is wrong.Worst game from DICE. The engine is so bad that half of the game is just TREES and BUSHES that are impenetrable. Movements are more like a movie, you can`t jump a fence or a damaged wall from the first try. Weapons are imbalanced , vehicles are a mess . Maps are made to give you cancer. You have just a few mods you can play , no more good servers and private. Anti cheat is not event there (2020 now and cheaters everywhere). I`m not sorry to say but Battlefield 4 was your last good game, after that is just money.

    We had so many maps and mods on BF4 and loads of weapons on classes so you can play how you want with loads of custom paints and now all you have is pay for crap skins. THAT IS WHAT WE NEED? freaking skins to pay for. You sell a broken game with every update is even worse and you give us skins for money. How the mighty have fallen.    … Expand

    Игра по своему хороша. Но есть большие проблемы с балансом техники и оружии. После обновления ТТК 2.0 оружие стало стреляться как из гороха. Но самое главная проблема этой игры это ЧИТЕРЫ! Читеры заполонили игру от самых краев я не знаю есть ли у этой игры вообще античит?Игра по своему хороша. Но есть большие проблемы с балансом техники и оружии.     I love the franchise and really enjoyed playing bf1 and bf4, but this duplicate of bf1 in deco WW2 look awful. Where the USSR? Where a **** country that lost 7 million(military loss) people in this war? Female? Really? It is nonrealistic! At battlefields of WW2 never been so many females!     I first met the Battlefield universe. The graphics are one of the best, but I did not see any more advantages. the plot is mediocre, very tolerant and terrible physics. But somehow this game still got me hooked.

    This game is complete garbage. Infestation of bad map designs will get you killed from the most random angles ever. Maps are extremely campy where you will find yourself just ignoring objectives and stacking your kill count by sitting on the edge of a map. The weapon customization is a joke. Better off with MW2 remaster to be honest. DICE didn't make a good game since BF4 and there's that.

    Worst game I ever played. I just cant play it for more than 10 minutes. The shooting is bad, no war atmosphere, boring, no ranking system ( if I'm level 10 I have to play with level 70+ players). Not even talking about screaming women on the field. I regret buying this game even for 20 euros.

    There is something seriously wrong with upper management at DICE for this game to go the path that it has. The devs are no longer doing what's best for the game and clearly what ever crunch leadership is putting them through is ruining the very little integrity that this game still has after a year.     This game has 0 balance, the no skill aa can easily snip every plane with no counterplay and the stg 44 is since release the strongest gun in the game.

    Considering how good BF3, BF4 & BF1 were, I thought BFV would be at least decent. It's not. The only fun to be had is Iwo Jima, and for a $60 game, that's pathetic.

    They wanted to surf on the fortnite wave. Also on the SJW wave. It has resulted in a really bad game. It could have been good. Shame

    Honestly, I wish I had spent my money on the new CoD Modernwarefare. Total waste of money, and I really starting    I completely regretted buying this game.     Its a PC mess where they just had to have a gender and race perspective in everything, so much that it totally hurts the experience.
    No, this won't do it, take a look at Infinity Ward and CoD MW Dice and see how it's done, because this was embarrasing

Launching for £45-50 here in the UK, I avoided it like the plague, and even in the months following release, where PSN had it for £30 quite a bit - I still refused to dip in.

    I'll not go over the reasons for giving Battlefield 5 (sorry Trevor Noah - I meant "Vee") a wide berth, as all fans of the series know exactly what turned most people off - I voted with my wallet this time!

    Then EA Access came along for £20.

    First game to download with my new 'EA slave pass' - BFV, a whopping 70 gigs, which subsequently needed to be deleted an re-downloaded, when half the menus failed to load, and I was greeted with just black screens most of the time!

    Eventually I jumped into my first few MP games - initial impressions were 'wow', this game looks and sounds amazing! Top marks on that front. Then I realise that owing to me joining the party late, pretty much everyone has much better kit - there were arty strikes, V2 bombs, and all sorts going on!!

    I grind away for match after match, unlocking pointless customizations for my chosen tool of death - wow, I now have a slightly green sight and handle.... erm, woop woop? I get a new pair of GI trousers; I get point to unlock specializations - that appear to have utterly no impact to the weapon whatsoever.

    My player rank over a couple of days in now in double digits, I have unlocked two or three weapons for certain classes, and used in-game currency (that I didn't pay for) to unlock some new support guns - feeling hard done by, as with the exception of one having a bigger belt of ammo - are exactly the same in in-game performance.

    When I finally take stock of the game, I realize, just how little there is too it - 9 MONTHS after release, there are still menus stating "Coming soon" - there's 3 or 4 sights per weapon, no grips, or stock customisations - in a word "limited". I appreciate this isn't BF3 or 4 with all the different points on a weapon to modify - but if Dice/EA are going to spin their narratives on WW2, they could have surly worked more weapon customisations in.

    And the GRIND! I know that these days, EA/Activision/Whoever are making their games in such a way, that purchasing their premium currency becomes the dangling carrot - the rationale they use is that you either spend your free time, or heard earned cash to advance. It just kicks you when you're down, if you're short on time and cannot commit to the grind to unlock the next thing. There seems to have been a huge jump in points needed between player/class/weapon ranks now I'm in double digits on player score.

    The game just feels completely unfinished to me, or at best, an expansion pass to Battlefield 1 - as combining these two titles would probably make one decent game - it's a bit like Hardline.

    As for one of the controversial bits - hearing women screaming in a WW2 battle, just dents what little immersion this game has; it gets to sounding like a drunken hen doo out on the town, and if anything is quite disrespectful to those who fought in the War.

    Battlefield 5 is the Star Wars version of a Battlefield game - if you are a true fan of the predecessors, avoid this game. OR if your curious, get it second hand for less than £20 or via the EA Access.

    It's a solid 3/10 game for this old BF fan.

    Some credentials out the way:

    Firstly, I'm a huge fan of the Battlefield games - the second (or third) PC game I purchased, was Battlefield 1942 - which I played online via 56k dial up (some BT gaming service iirc) or at LAN parties.

    For 1942, I purchased all the expansion passes, and when the epic fan-made Desert Combat came along, I spent many hours gaming with a slightly improved 1MB/s NTL 'broadband' connection.

    When Battlefield 2 came along - it was (and probably still is) the pinnacle of the series for me, and I spent a huge amount of time on it - but never once earned a Purple Heart, which I was quite proud of - considering my play style is to get right into the action (forget that K/D ratio rubbish!). I purchased the expansions, and played a great deal of fan made conversions - even running a server with a clan for a while.

    I skipped 2142, as I was firmly in the camp that the futuristic setting, had no place in Battlefield :-P I then jumped ship to consoles, and although I missed the first iteration of Battlefield on the 360 - I picked the series up again with Bad Company; whilst a bit of a deviation to what I had been used to - it was a welcome return.

    Bad Company 2 was another pinnacle for me - and to this day, hotly contests the fond memories I have of Battlefield 2 on the PC. Battlefield 3 was also a great addition to the series, and had some utterly stunning single player experienced.

    Battlefield 4 - pretty meh, nothing worth remembering, and Battlefield 1 just felt incomplete - though the SP tank missions were ace!    … Expand

Al transcurrir en la segunda guerra mundial, la guerra más sanguinaria, más cruda y terrible. Uno no se siente del todo como si fuera un soldado más. Le hace falta más crueldad. Su online en ovaciones se siente vacío al tener falta de contenido seEs un juego que a mi parecer promete mucho. Me gusta mucho la historia de la humanidad, sus errores, sus hechos históricos, todo en general. Al transcurrir en la segunda guerra mundial, la guerra más sanguinaria, más cruda y terrible. Uno no se siente del todo como si fuera un soldado más. Le hace falta más crueldad. Su online en ovaciones se siente vacío al tener falta de contenido se siente muy repetitivo y vacío. Su modo de un jugador, historias de guerra., tiene muy buena narrativa y cuenta hechos que te podrían poner a reflexionar. Pero la IA es algo estúpida. Con el nuevo DLC guerra en el Pacífico muchas cosas han cambiado. Después de que exploté sus dos nuevos mapas llegué a la conclusión que el juego aún puede dar más hacia delante. Es un DLC que me hizo pensar lo que tuvieron que vivir los japoneses y estadounidenses en esa época. Pero retomando los otros mapas uno se da cuenta que son muuuy flojos on online flojo que no se compara con los de sus antecesores, un online repetitivo que podría ser compensado con un aumento de slots en los jugadores. Acerca de su banda Sonora es una maldita obra maestra sin dudarlo, le da un toque genial al juego así que un punto a favor para este juego que se que algún día dará lo que prometió. En conclusión battlefield debe cambiar su rutina en diferentes aspectos. Es un juego que le he dedicado horas y horas, no me desepcionen y por favor no dejen morir al juego.… Expand

    Didn't like the new gunplay in BF1 and this feels the same. I enjoyed this game for some time but it was just like every other game published by EA... Not finished when it arrived.

    This game has came a long way in a year! The Pacific Theater has added a lot to this game for sure. When you have two teams playing fir the win this game really shines. Unfortunately you sometimes get in games were half your team sits back and snipes for kills or uses tanks planes in the same planes in the same manner. When it's played the way it's supposed to be played it's great!

    What a disaster and disappointment, this game is probably the worst Battlefield of the saga, bad mechanics, horrible gameplay, the worst history of WW2 ever, inconsistency in history like women's in all the factions, the lack of key country's like the Soviet Union and France, Italy etc. This game is the worst nightmare of historians and scholars of history.

    I respect the EA DICE games. But as a person who bought it 2-3 months ago I was razasherov because in this game there is no balance for example I play level 1 with 80 uraniums and the maps are big and you meet these people about 6 times but the problem is that there are a lot of such levels. plus a lot of bugs and gaps. I sincerely hope that in

Framerate drops during achievements, textures take a while to load. Each update introduces more bugs than fixes. You need to grind to unlock cosmetics / face paints that won’t load on time for other players to see anyway. Most cosmetics cannot be purchasedSadly, this one’s a huge disappointment for me on PS4.     But for me, who is closing in to my 40´s of age and still play games, i mostly enjoy campaigns and good single players which earlier BF games had to offer. It was fun and cool with a lot of replayability like Bad Company 2. But with BF1 the campaigns were short and disappointing. MP did solid on that game but as said, MP is not my bag. and it´s only getting worse now so it seems.

    Enter BFV, it looks like a rush-job pushed by those fools at EA. And at the same time thrown in a lot of political agenda and feministic **** that does not belong in a WW2 game. Wth is that about?
    I can always accept fictional storyline in gaming because it is not really that important, but come on. Its a disgrace to veterans who fought in the war. This is like pissing on their gravestones. it´s offending ME even..

    If there is something that is good here it´s the visuals. As a Norwegian that has grown up in harsh winters and northern lights, it was a certain pleasure to play the campaign at Rjukan. but the story was rubbish and totally inaccurate. The Gunnerside boys and the entire Company Linge has been disgraced. Nuff said
    Weapons are good and varied. Many types to grab and fire and they all are very different in feel and action. 1 point. The controls are sub-par at best.

    All in all, not a good game. But i don´t blame DICE for putting out such a unfinished game, i blame EA who puts a pressure on DICE to give them what they want. They have become puppets for them sadly. DICE have a long history of making great stuff, but they are degrading as long as EA has ownership. Every employee in Dice should quit their jobs there and start a new company and be creative again, take their time and once and for all give us a good LONG story-driven campaign again like it was back in the days.    … Expand

    The campaign isn't fun i thought it would be a improvement from battlefield 1 which had a great campaign. All parts of the campaigns are of small fictionalized battles with no consequences. It doesn't feel like ww2. When you think of ww2 you think of D-day, battle of the bulge, battle of Britain, Dunkirk, stalingrad, iwo gima, etc. Instead you get random very obscure battles (or made up battles). These battles are usually inaccurate like a women replacing the commando who destroyed the German heavy water plant, British commandos are portrayed as criminals, the racism about the Tirailleur is exaggerated, and the last tiger doesn't even have naiz symbols.

    Multiplayer is actually pretty decent but it was short of content on launch and still now. The maps aren't as good and battlefield 1 since their too damn big with no big point everyone fights over. The gun play is pretty great, but this is hurt by squads being smaller, and class guns being very limited.

She can also use smgs despite having no experience with weapons. The whole story is an empowerment fantasy that someone cooked up to try and sell copies. It is just plain pathetic. Second worst of these stories is under no flag which features the special boat service recruiting from prisons. [they never did this} the rest of this is passable. The third story was decent but over too quick and I won't say anything on the last tiger because Dice couldn't be bothered to release it with the base game despite promising it overall the multiplayer is garbage and pandering garbage at that and the story is alright at best and historical revisionism at its worst.… Expand

In a game that support 32 to a side? I need to unfriend a bunch of people because in a PS party of 8 people, we're not getting into the same squad. Frack if we're lucky to get into the same game let alone on the same side — it's ridiculous! previous Battlefields at least understood the complexities of managing large teams and tried to give you the tools to do it: ability to have separate audio chat for teams and squads; separate squads in PS4 parties would still typically join onto the same side; ability to change sides if balancing got messed up; enemy marking that actually worked; etc.

    After BF:H, I swore I wouldn't go all out on a BF preorder, and I didn't. I didn't even preorder BF5 at all — I bought the disc in the discount bin at GameStop and I'm glad I didn't pay more than that.

    This is probably my last Battlefield. It's just a shame that they not only forgot what made BF great, but they stopped listening to the paying fans that helped build the franchise.

    It's ok. I've got RDR2/RDO and there's a ton of F2P games that don't have the stupid buggy-ness that BF5 has (getting sniped through walls in houses you're not even touching, getting sniped with LMGs, stupid spawn points that make no sense, FUBARd medics that reload their weapons instead of reviving, etc.) and have behavior that just makes sense (how many times do you have no idea why you died in BF5?)    … Expand

    It plays a lot more like CoD these days, favouring smaller game modes, where fastest finger wins and there's no room for strategic play. They even reduced the squad size to 4 so you can't play as well together either.

    In many ways, Battlefield V feels like a big step backwards for the franchise. The campaign is boring and frustrating, multiplayer is unbalanced, and bugs keep popping up in every mode to ruin the experience. The fortification system is a good shakeup, but the good it brings is tempered by the cumbersome and murky Grand Operations. With some patches, balance changes and bug squashing, BFV could be a fantastic game, but at the moment, this soldier needs to go back to basic training.
