Great game, quite fun to play, and the graphics are excellent. The multiplayer, the best part, but its more fast-paced that the older games: lots of people running through the map with automatic weapons and little people playing the objective. Also, if you´re looking for a WW1 game, this is not for you; this doesnt look like WW1 at all. Finally, the single player campaign its ok, but, again, you are not going to see a great representation of the Great War. Most of the time its you, alone, behind enemy lines, with a really stupid (almost inexistent) IA. Only a few missions are different between each other. Dissapointing for me, as a long time battlefield player, but you cant denny the game quality. 7/10 Expand

When I first got into Battlefield (Bad Company), I never saw myself using an armored trooper with a Maxim machine gun, dropping bombs on populated sector or charging into a hail of gunfire to cheat death or fall. Battlefield has always been about bringing the intensity of the combat, newer things to flesh that experience out. Battlefield 1 does it in the best way possible, all out war and large scale operations and vintage (mostly historically accurate) weaponry.

For new players, forget what you know about every other shooter. Battlefield will train your failures into success the more you play it. At first, you may charge into battle hoping to find another to kill. At first, you will realize, that you are gunned down before snapping a shot in. So you die and respawn, begin to realize that moving too much is your enemy and that proper teamwork, accuracy and attacking carefully is the name of the game. (provided you aren't in a tank, which does change the dynamic slightly.) Second, you begin to understand what the hell classes/gadgets are and how they improve how you fight and survive longer.

Once you figure out that, you'll realized what you've missed all these years and realize that Call of Duty was the wrong shooter to play. Battlefield is where its at!

Very Very bad game. it's impossible to play for more than 30 hours which is inadmissible for an online shooter. And online 20k on ps4 it confirms. at first fun, but the game does not offer anything new due to what becomes boring. And here are terrible map.

Scoring system in the game is horrendous.. If one team gets up a couple hundred points early on, it is impossible to overcome.. You almost always know which team will win by the first 5 minutes of the game or so. The matchmaking is horrible, which has always been true of Battlefield games... You'll start a game with 30 people on one team, 20 on another, and the 30 person team builds a big enough lead before the other team fills up to guarantee them a win. Lastly, the guns kill too fast, which has been a trend of Battlefield games over the last 10 years..It's not something I appreciate.. I don't like getting shot in the back with a couple bullets and dying before I can turn around and engage the enemy.. I guess I'm in the minority in this thinking, but it's extremely frustrating to me.. I don't get any sense of accomplishment when I walk up behind a dude and waste him in 2 seconds either. Still a good game though. Expand

The multiplayer made a extreme change. its very fast paced so you definitely wont get bored. i think the different variants of guns was a good idea, but found it hard to navigate around your solider menu.

The campaign was very interesting in the way that it was based on true stories. found that was very short and some missions kind of drowned on. But i think if more missions were added it could've been a lot better

The stories are told very well and the game also feels very good to play, minus the stiff running which feels like sliding. However, there wasn't enough time to get invested in any character too much or really feel like it was you in the thick of it at all. Also the time to die under fire can sometimes be a little short, requiring you to only play the game a certain way instead of fighting however you want. This is more realistic but less enjoyable for me personally. I enjoyed the cutscenes more than the shooting sometimes, and for a fps game, that's not ideal. I would give it a 6 but some of the stories are epic and memorable, even if I didn't feel connected to the characters as I was playing them. If you're like me and mostly play these for single player, you might want to get this game at a hefty discount. Expand

This game has been out for almost a year and already has so much DLC but the fact that I'm still experiencing regular glitches/server issues is just unacceptable. The lack of coop in the campaign is also very disappointing considering the let down of the BF4 campaign. Overall, the game feels fun but that never lasts longer than a round or two because of the ugly flaws.

Battlefield 1 is the pinnacle of First Person Shooters. Up to this point I was uninterested and disappointed by Battlefield, only delving into it every now and again. This game made me change my mind about the Battlefield franchise, not only is it a great first person shooter, but is far superior to the likes of Call of Duty (Don't say I'm a Battlefield fanboy because I enjoy COD too).Battlefield 1 is the pinnacle of First Person Shooters. This game made me change my mind about the Battlefield franchise, not only is it a great first person shooter, but is far superior to the likes of Call of Duty (Don't say I'm a Battlefield fanboy because I enjoy COD too). With the direction the COD franchise is going as of right now this is a good alternative, and if you don't like WWI then fine wait for Battlefield V or buy Battlefield 1943. If you like modern day shoot for Battlefield 4 or Bad Company 2.
Now on to the actual game itself, while I have not finished the War Stories they suffice for a good 5 hour distraction from multiplayer. Multiplayer is fantastic offering a variety of tactical choices, but don't rush headfirst into battle like I did at first because you need your teammates as they are essential to your survival. There is four classes Assault, Medic, Support, and Scout. Assault is more focused on as you can clearly tell, assault, it offers a variety of different guns focused on this type of behavior everything from shotguns to automatic weapons and more, this class is also essential to taking down vehicles as they offer rocket guns and anti-tank grenades.
Medics do as they do they are medics, they are more focused on semi-auto rifles as far as guns go, but will help you on the battlefield as they can drop med packs that will heal you faster, they also have a needle that revives players that have fallen in battle.
Support is focused on LMGs for their guns, they can drop ammo packs that will give players more ammo, And that's the jist of them.
Scouts are more accustomed to bolt-action rifles either scoped or unscoped. They have special bullets that will damage vehicles but won't do much, you can also cycle the zeroing distance on most rifles.
Each class has the ability to spot players by pressing R1, and they also have the ability to put on a gas mask by pressing up on the d-pad.
Battlefield 1 is truly an amazing first person shooter that must be played. Goodbye.

Stunning visuals and fun multiplayer action!
BF1 is an amazingly fun game. It may not be historically accurate but it is fun!
EA and DICE valued fun over historical accuracy which may be frustrating to
the gamer who is a historical shooter fan, but I don't mind what it lacks in
historical accuracy it makes it up in the sheer fun factor alone.

The best shooter multiplayer under my point of view (a bit above battlefront 2). The idea of multiple short stories is really good, and those stories are very good, soundtrack is AWSOME, pvp is so much fun specially if you play with sniper. Multiplayer maps are really spicy, the only problem is it's price (right now you can find it for 20€, but 2 years ago was 100€). 9/10.

Battlefield 4 is more addictive. And 1 has too few online trophies, and Bad Company 2 had such fun helicopters and jeeps where in comparison 1 feels like a lite version of the more hectic modern games.

Also, it seems they adjusted the health-bar so that soldiers die faster from less damage. So there are few real shootouts, more instant deaths just when an enemy pops into view. Maybe

Having it take place in a time period that is often not touched by developers is a welcome change of pace. It has a decent amount of content to keep one invested, and the two map packs that recently came out change enough to make them good, if unnecessary editions to the game.

In terms of graphics, the game is gorgeous, and often times looks like it could be photo realistic. There is some minor issues with character model glitches but other than that it is still fantastic. The sound design is great as well, with all the guns sounding like they have real firepower behind them.

The gameplay is also very good, though a bit arcade-y. Being able to drive and fly in vehicles from the time period is great, and the shooting is a lot of fun, but the prevalence of automatic firearms is a bit odd considering the time period wouldn't have that many and mostly had bolt action rifles. The spawning of vehicles and planes from outside the map is also something I'm personally not a fan of, as I like having the vehicles on map to get in at any time. But the overall gameplay is fun and is challenging enough to make you want to come back.

The Campaign, or "War Stories", are an interesting addition. Most of them are pretty well made, having a good production value behind them, though I feel like focusing on only 1 of the campaigns, and making it longer and have better character development would've been a better idea. The lack of any campaign for the central powers was also a missed opportunity, especially considering the rather "Gray" nature of the first World War.

Overall, it is a fun game and a nice addition to the Battlefield franchise, and I think we will see a rise in shooting games from the world war period again due to its success, and nowadays, I think this will be a welcome change.

Battlefield 1 reinvigorated my interest in multiplayer games; a true Battlefield that wages 64 players in a all out war of the first World War in stunning visuals, sounds and gameplay that is truly spectacular. Bayonet charging with chaotic screaming, blowing down towers and houses with explosions and more make the experience feel very convincing and my jaw was down when I played a match.Battlefield 1 reinvigorated my interest in multiplayer games; a true Battlefield that wages 64 players in a all out war of the first World War in stunning visuals, sounds and gameplay that is truly spectacular. Bayonet charging with chaotic screaming, blowing down towers and houses with explosions and more make the experience feel very convincing and my jaw was down when I played a match. Conquest and Rush is apart of the BF staple for fans, with also Domination and Team Deathmatch as a reach for Call of Duty fans and other shooters but not as creative. Even its War Pigeons is lackluster, but what sells it is Operations; a hour long pseudo-meta game that sets up attackers and defenders and wages control over points with only three attack attempts. It is the coolest idea and deserves alot of praise for this.

With all this praise there are some issues needing to be addressed of why it stays to a 7/10. Microtransactions, loot boxes and season passes loom over this game much like the previous and have an effect that hurts this grand scale of war play entirely. The campaign is mediocre that feels more like a glorified tutorial than an actual campaign. There are also some issues with network connections and servers as well. In the end however Battlefield 1 delivers a exhilarating experience of war that deserves your time, just be cautious with your money.

The story of Battlefield 1 cannot decide whether it's embracing the moral gray area of World War 1 or trying to be about good guys and bad guys. There may be a moment of two soldiers spotting each other from a distance and each simultaneously deciding not to kill each other, followed by a mission where it is necessary to mow down countless German soldiers in order to complete the objective. The gameplay, however, is on the complete opposite end of the spectrum. If the story was tonally inconsistent and incoherent, the gameplay never strays from monotonous, boring, and dull. There are very few changes to structure or form between this game and other generic, by the numbers FPS games. The shooting mechanics are very simple games of whack-a-mole, but in this aspect I do feel as though Battlefield 1 is superior to Infinite Warfare. It doesn't have the messy, over-the-top wall running or jump pack mechanics, so it's more simplistic. This results in the moment to moment gameplay being cleaner than Infinite Warfare's messy and chaotic battles. However, this works against the game in another aspect because despite not having the lows of Infinite Warfare, it cannot embrace the highs. When the movement mechanics and more frantic gunplay in Infinite Warfare work together, it can be fun and entertaining, despite how little time is spent in which the mechanics do work together. Similarly, instead of many missions being terrible and one or two being decently fun and providing some interesting moments, Battlefield 1 pumps out consistently mediocre missions without fail, and never delivers anything beyond the most basic experiences required of a shooting genre. Interlocking mechanics and physics allow for some magical moments that can be entertaining, until the repetitive missions and unoriginal story sink in. Really it's up to personal preference which is worse. I personally believe that Infinite Warfare is the inferior game because for the first few hours of the game, Battlefield 1 can be pretty fun, but for me, it got old way too fast for me to give it anything more than a 4 out of 10. How good can a shooter be? This question is answered with great power in Battlefield 1's addictive multiplayer, moving stories and captivating graphics. Once you pop the disc in you are thrown into the front lines where they show you the horrors of this catastrophic event that went down over 100 years ago. A true classic with fun gameplay and beautiful graphical power.

10/10 on graphics, 10/10 on audio, and a ******* 1/1 on game play. We definitely know a game is bad when it's an over hyped EA game. They spend so much time and priority on graphics, audios, gimmicks, etc. and yet barely any time on game play and everything else that revolves around it.

This game is more or less an amazing FPS game, if not the best imo this generation. For once, the battlefield series has a great story, and add its signature multiplayer greatness and jaw dropping graphics, you get a surprisingly great game. Only problem is that it does feel to similar to BF4 in terms of gameplay, but otherwise, buy it

All of it is due to the game engine DICE insists on using, every SINGLE game they have made on Frostbite have had **** like this happen, getting shot once youre around a corner, getting shot after from enemies you cannot see and they cannot see you, shooting someone to 1 hp and then getting instantkilled by them from an inferior weapon... All of this makes the experience horrible to a person who have tried what it feels like to actually be able to rely on who shoots first and where you hit.
Only positive thing about gameplay is in its singleplayer.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. My first impression was: ok, this game looks pretty good. But then i started to look closer. So where do i start...
    Weapons:
Lets start with the new weapon custimization, which actually doesnt exist. As a player you have to choose between several prebuilt weapons with different attachments, which only purpose is to make the amount of weapons not looking miserable. Your are able to change the zoom and can sometimes choose betweens 2 different iron sights on the most smgs or self loading rifles, but thats everything (sorry, but i wont count useless skins for weapons as custimization, which ill get into later on). So compared to Battlefield 4 and the old weapon system, i was really disappointed. And overall, being in the menu it doesnt feel like battlefield at all.
    Vehicles:
Like in Destiny pvp, dice cant really come to a conclusion on how to properly adjust your vehicle maintenance. From several changes (from more direct repair, to less direct repair, to faster direct repair,...)- And trying to solve this will definitely go on, because this paper tanks make too many people sit on a hill with their artillery truck, getiing maybe 15 kills in one round of conquest, which is a goddamn waste of a tank. The tanks sidearms are mostly useless, resulting in an 6 space A7V tank with only the driver reliing on the ground troops. And as many tank drivers realized, you cant tank that much and without protection, youre done in less than 30 seconds, resulting in people camping on hills with tanks.
    Gameplay:
At best i start with something positive this time. Dice did actually make some improvements on the gameplay. They erased bugs which were existing since the release of battlefield...after several month. Everyone who played conquest will have experienced the medic bug, which hasnt made you able to properly use your weapons upon getting revieved. But sadly, i still have this bug, like many other players, and since reviving is key part in battlefield this HAS to work 100%.
Overall the gameplay, beside the bugs, feels pretty sharp. Fluent movement, physics, is actually how i wanted it to be. Another part of the new Bf game is the behemoth, the most retarded feature in a battlefield game so far. When a team gets behind too much, it recieves a huge armored tank, train, airship or ship, which are only annoying and the reason most players ambrace the new frontlines mode much more than oldsc...oh wait, newschool conquest.
    Graphics:
They look very good, so does the atmosphere.
    UI:
Battlefield 1 features a new way of selecting the teams starting vehicles, which sucks incredibly, seriously. Go watch Bf4 and then compare to BF1, youll see yourself. For changing or customizing the vehicle of your choice, there has to be one available, which is retarded and gets me mad every...time.
    The maps:
For battlefield-standard, they are really small. Too small. And thats why you only have maximum 2 tanks per team, which is sad, compared to BF4s 5 tanks. Nevertheless the design itself looks pretty nice on most maps, especially forest of argonne is one of the best maps ive ever seen, despite its infantry only and also small.
    The game-modes:
It features the classic conquest, hardcoremodes and normal deathmatch. Dice added throughout some new game-modes which were actually awesome, but removed them after one month and havent brought them back in. Which is one reason the game doesnt offer enough content in terms of game modes. So nearly one year after the release, im still missing modes like "airfight only", "tankfight only",...
    Everything else:
Battlepacks! Beside the behemoth, the most useless stuff ever in a game. They offer skin variations for weapons, and they are actually the only longterm motivation bf1 offers, despite the fact that they are useless and not motivating at all. Which shows in massive decrease in player count (visit bftracker for the numbers). Too many players took a look at the good graphics, played for a month, stating the game is awesome and gave the game 9/10, which it doesnt deserve. Since you are able to unlock nearly any weapon within the first 10 hours, the game has no longterm motivation at all.
That being said, the release of upcoming dlcs is taking ages, not to mention urgent bugfixes and improvements, which are still missing. The community sucks really hard. Since many people played bf1 because the last CoD also sucked, you get too many teammates which dont revive, supply or play the objective (or spot enemies, which also doesnt work properly (key feature of the Bf series, but hey the CoD guys give 9/10 for the looks, so who cares)).
    Last word:
The game could get 9/10 without any problem and the potential it offers is incredible. But still it wont get me the Bf-feeling from BF4 or the earlier games, maybe because the real Bf veterans are still playing the old games. So if the game would really be 9/10,like many people claim, then why is this massive decrease in player count?!

I love settings back to WW1. Battlefield was always brilliant in multiplayer, but campaigns was usually not that great (if it had it at all). Here I liked campaign very much and liked Idea to make it in 6 different settings and characters. Multiplayer take a lot from previous BF's with some nice aditions. Firstly and most importantly I'll talk about the AI, it's probably the worst I've seen in an AAA game since the year 2000. The fact that the enemy charge at you, constantly shooting with no tactics is painful. While driving a tank you have an near infinite number of enemies charging and shooting at your impervious tank, they cannot do any damage, they do not take cover and are happy to die. The artillery that can actually do damage, fires at very consistent patterns allowing you to reverse the tank to avoid hits and move forward again to shoot them. You rinse and repeat the same tactics with every artillery. I think the developers should be ashamed of their work.

As for game play mechanics, being able to pop out instantly, repair a tank that has taken multiple artillery shells hits by cranking a wrench is silly, but actually forgivable and you can allow that arcade mechanics. However, if a game does use silly arcade mechanics, do not use cut scenes that try to impart a serious note, it is ridiculous to attempt to impart the serious horrific nature of war alongside missions that have aircraft trying to take out Anti-Aircraft Guns.

Like the other Battlefields; the more you play and help your squad the better. It limits the amount of "lone wolves" out there just doing their own thing. The tanks and planes add a fun aspect and nothing is better than taking down an entire building with a bomb drop or perfectly placed tank shell.

Often times I find myself stopping to just simply take in everything that is going on around me. It's simply the best war shooter available! I would give it a 10 but the sometimes long load times and sporadic server issues drop it to a 9 in my book.

Call of Duty nailed the campaign in Modern Warfare, why can't the developers at Dice hit the bar right too?

A visually stunning game, with depth and emotion tethered into the single player campaign. It's the only game I've played to make you feel the gravity of war and what it meant to those fighting in it. The single player is a little short, but that doesn't mean it isn't thoroughly enjoyable.

The multiplayer has had me hooked for months. Stunning effects, explosions, destructible structures and a wide array of vehicles to play with. When it comes to the weapons, I've read other reviews complaining about how inaccurate they are, how weak they are etc etc. Well, newsflash, World War 1 was over 100 years ago, so expect the guns to be 100% perfect.

Overall, a brilliant game, occasionally buggy, but thoroughly enjoyable nonetheless. I plan on playing this game for a long time to come.

This is for the online only. It's great, the best thing I have played in years as far as online FPS's are concerned. The huge maps (I don't play as a sniper, so this is a pro and a con), the graphics are great, and the pace is just right. I do find myself always remembering a few features that are missing or some imbalances, but I'd say a great game.

In all honesty though, for a game centered on World War I, the developers have taken the liberty of using a lot of (functional) automatic weapons and some high capacity semi-automatic rifles. That historical inaccuracy aside, the variety of weapons does keep the gameplay from being dull. It's probably better to think of this as a WW2 game with a WW1 skin on it.

Graphics and sound design are outstanding, as to be expected from DICE. More importantly, the game is not rife with bugs and glitches like the release of Battlefield 4 and Hardline. The game also has a surprisingly engrossing single-player campaign mode, where you see the point of view of old soldiers fighting in different theatres of the great war. What the campaign does right is give you an opportunity to operate the vehicles of the game, a lesson they've learned from BF4's lackluster campaign.

Operations Mode is a relatively simple, yet enticing multiplayer mode that plays somewhat like Rush, but on a much larger scale, operating on multiple maps with an overarching narrative. This change truly makes you feel like you're fighting as a part of something much bigger, allowing you to be absorbed by the conflict in hand.

A few things I do dislike are the certain weapons that take an enormous amount of grinding to unlock, like the Hellreigel SMG, one of the most effective weapons in the game. Certain areas of a map (ie. Argonne Forest) have very narrow choke points that essentially become a game of "Who has more grenades?" and can become a frustrating standstill. Remember Operation Locker and Metro in BF4? Yeah, it gets that bad.

Argonne Forest aside, the designs for the maps are outstanding. There's a natural feel and flow to the landscape, where some areas have a natural advantage and disadvantage without feeling broken or artificial. Hopefully DICE's future works in the franchise are influenced by BF1's map design.

BF1 is the most exciting shooter I've played in years. I've had a blast traversing the fields on foot, and especially in the war vehicles that were in use during the great war (war horse ftw!) Almost everything DICE did with this game is a step in the right direction, and I hope they continue down this path of excellence.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I over all enjoyed every aspect of the game in a short summary, but if you want more details please continue reading, and it will contain spoilers.

    ---The Campaign---
Holy s*** a BF campaign I actually care about and enjoyed, I haven't had this feeling since the days of Bad Company. In the BF game you will "Relive" some epic moments of many different soldiers on many different fronts. Sadly no French, Russian, Ottoman, German, Austria-Hungary. The game just feels epic in ANY of the campaigns you play in, probably the least enjoyable to me was the Italian campaign but that may just be me.

Now to the issues I have the campaign and I'll s*** on this game alot for it (But don't let that mislead you, it's still an incredibly enjoyable game). The SJW themes in this movie. White/Europe/British just as bad as the Ottomans, thats the message I got from the story tellers especially in the middle Eastern campaign. And you'll get this theme alot of the game designers overly trying to be inclusive.

    -----Multiplayer-----
"We wuz snipers en shiat" Sorry terrible joke on part but continuing on from the SJW talk, yes I have yet to play a "Sniper class" that isn't Black. Even for the Germans, apparently the Germans enlisted heavily from their massive black population to feed into the meat grinder. I'm of course joking, and find it laughable that the game devs couldn't atleast attempt to keep it close to history. And because it doesn't stay close to history it personally breaks the immersion for me occasionally. But again NO BIG DEAL, just a minor gripe.

The multiplayer is very fun, even getting spanked and losing horribly I've yet to have a "Throw my controller" moment because the game is still fun even when losing. There is just way to much to talk about for here, just pick it up and try yourself YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!

Encima el multijugador es un Battlefront 2, simple, casual, sin personalizacion, pocas armas, pocos mapas y dlcs abusivos. Arruinaron mi saga favorita, gracias EA.

I got very bored with the modern and futuristic shooters, at least when it came to online gaming. For example I thought the modern BF games were tremendously boring on PS3 (on BF3 the maps were too big for so few players, for example). With that in mind, I was a bit skeptic to say the least when BF1 was announced. During the beta it was confirmed: I did not like BF. But I tried it at a friends place over new years and got hooked. This game is so well built.

The single player has a surprisingly good campaign that doesn't end in 4 hours. I don't know if the game is worth it solely for the solo campaign, but it's close. They have managed to capture the gritty feeling of World War I; BF1 does a very good job at presenting the hell this war was. The campaign is composed of several short stories that offer a variety of missions. Best of all: it doesn't feel like a tutorial for the multiplayer.

The multiplayer is also very good. Several different game modes, from the bombastic Operations (a more story based kind of game mode that could well take 1-1,5 hours to play) to the fast paced War Pigeons which is sort of a mobile "capture the hill", or a version of Capture the flag but without bases. It is super intense and an instant favorite. A round could take anything from 3 to 30 minutes. But it feels longer. The game is also well balanced for each class, so that none of the 4 classes are overpowered compared to each other. It's all down to how you decide to play. A positive consequence here is that if you get bored assaulting, simply switch class to something else and change your way of playing. It will add new dimensions to the game.

There are few minor mishaps that prevents this game from getting a 10, but those problems are quite easy to oversee.

In conclusion, this is by far the best Battlefield game I have ever played and the most fun I've had with the series since when 1942 was first released. I hope they stay away from modern warfare games for a while now and let this game brew a lot longer.

Battlefield 1 has amazing graphics, a good story mode with a great theme, great mechanics to play. Talking about the story mode, I thought it so interesting, they worked very well on the story line and the result is phenomenal. The online mode is very good and we can have hours of fun playing it. EA Ganes and Eletronic Arts made the best war game for the console until now.

Battlefield 1 is a first person shooter placed in WW1 and published by EA. This action packed shooter starts at a price around the $60 range and is rated M. An explanation for Battlefield 1 having such a good reveiws is because the Campaign is unique, it is split up into 5 different war stories from different people and how they were affected by the war.

Battlefield 1’s Multiplayer is one of the best ever created, the game modes included are Conquest,Rush,War Pigeons,Operations, and Many many more because BF1 has an option to make your own mode to your own liking.

While playing BF1 multiplayer you are given 4 options for classes + Extra Special classes like mechanic and pilot. The normal 4 classes include the medic, support, assault, and scout. All of these classes include different abilities and gear so it is good to have your team balanced with a decent amount of all 4.

The bad things in BF1 are actually the glitches that can occur while playing multiplayer. These glitches are usually not that bad but it could go from not being able to quit a match or even not having a gun.

Besides the unfortunate glitches, Battlefield 1 is one of the most balanced and solid game i have ever played because of the graphics, story, and overall being different from other franchises. If i were you i would grab a copy of BF1 now.

    4. Map loading takes too long as well

5 guns per class - really ? Is that what DICE/EA are charging us 60 bucks for? pff (not gonna buy premium for sure)
No normal medals/ribbons system of progression
    6. stupid sweet-spot mechanics, far too casual sniping and lots of campers on any map because of it
    7. empty custom servers, so users are made to play official servers.
    8. boring campaign with locations that are almost exact copies of multiplayer maps (disappointed :( )

I don't get how people keep playing this game with all the issues it has. So far, Overwatch provides a much more solid online multiplayer experience in all the aspects.

However, the multiplayer mode lacks of depth in content (weapons, armies and even maps). I also regret the fact of not being able to do a +5 squad, it might not be everyone's problem, but I have a lot of friend playing it and separating in 2 squads is annoying. There are also big framerate problems on certain maps

There are also big framerate problems on certain maps when there are a lot of craters on the ground with many people around and shooting everywhere. A game, especially a FPS, should always feel fluid.

Unlike many other people I'm not a fan of the solo mode even if it is decent. Yes some missions are surprisingly entertaining, but on the other hand there are a lot of identical missions (infiltration phases for example are very present in the game and it gets boring after a while).

It's a good BF, occasional players will love it, but more serious gamers will get bored after a few dozen hours.

For real, though. This is another content lacking, unbalanced DICE shooter with 4-5 hours worth of gameplay since the campaign is only 1-2 hours long and the multiplayer is barely worth playing since you'll die the moment you spawn in by some sniper, tank or bomber plane. If you reach rank 3 with all classes well you're pretty much done with the game since you don't get any more weapons untill rank 10. Which means you must grind away for hours and hours on the same 9 maps using the same weapons and vehicles over and over untill you're stupid enough to reach rank 10 and get 1 more weapon.

There's also no variety in the soldiers. Even Star Wars Battlefront has more variety in the Stormtroopers and Rebels. Here they all look the same.

Oh, and France and Russia 2 key factions in WW1 are locked behind a paywall. Meanwhile, America is in the base game although they didn't join the war untill late 2017.

Like I said, the campaign is a boring, 1-2 hour experience. With no interesting main characters except for T.E Lawrence. So, do we get to play as him and experience epic adventure though the Middle East? Nope. Instead of actually playing as an interesting character we get to play as some random woman who was part of some tribe. So I bought this game just to play as an idol of mine. And it turns out he's just a side character with 10 or so minutes of screen time, Even the Lawrence of Arabia skins for the multiplayer is locked behind the deluxe edition paywall.

So, I don't and probably never will recommend Battlefield 1. Just buy Verdun if you want a fun WW1 shooter with standard issue rifles and trench warfare. Because Battlefield 1 has none of those things.

Battlefield 1 offers a truly incredible multiplayer experience. Unlike most games with well done graphics, the jaw dropping effect doesn't really go away with this game. And during all ofBattlefield 1 offers a truly incredible multiplayer experience. Unlike most games with well done graphics, the jaw dropping effect doesn't really go away with this game. This is because there is almost always bound to be some sort of surprise had in store, be it from a plane crash missing you by an inch or a tank popping up out of nowhere and blasting you to oblivion. And during all of this action packed excitement the game pulls off the task of looking great.

Because of this the game succeeds in immersing you in the action. The serious tone that it took accompanied by a piano-laden music score and solemn narration creates an internal consistency and gives the game a more mature undertone.

Nevertheless, the game does suffer sometimes from performance issues. This seemed to occur to me the most when playing medic, as I'd toss out my medic pack and nothing would happen for a full five seconds, which is a bigger deal than it seems when every second counts in battle.

Furthermore, the campaign suffers, like most other Battlefield games. Battlefield 1's campaign is certainly better than its two predecessors, but that isn't saying much. Often times the emotion that they were trying to convey in the story felt underwhelming due to lack of complex writing and uninteresting gameplay. There are a few good moments, but those are somewhat far and between.

Overall, however, Battlefield 1 really makes up for its faults in the absolutely stellar multiplayer experience, an experience that contains much more depth (the ability to customize, the historical accuracy, the map design, etc) than other multiplayer games like Overwatch.
