    I don’t like raining on anyone’s parade but it seems hard to believe that anyone will be scared by this stuff these days. It’s all so… hokey. But if you’re just itching to see what the commotion was all about with this series, and you can do so with a sensible understanding of context, the Amnesia Collection might be worth the investment.

    Players in the target audience for these titles (like me!) who’ve been waiting for this storied series to come to console will find the package worth exploring even if there’s only one real reason to buy in.

    Amnesia Collection games would deserve greater attention during PS4 conversion. The first part grew old, the second was never worth much. Both games share the same problem with controls designed for keyboard and mouse. [Issue #270]

    The Amnesia Collection fails to revamp the original visuals and lacks the bonus content to entice existing fans. But for newcomers, this three-course dish of blood, guts and horror quickens the pulse like few other games can.

    These games are clearly not as scary as the games they inspired like Outlast or SOMA,
