One of the most boring games I have ever played. After seeing it and being wowed by the E3 demo I wanted to give it a shot but man was i duped. This game is just floating the whole time and getting audio logs. Boring AF

The game has great idea and the graphics are neat, but it feels justs empty and all you do is try to collect air. I was excited to play this after seeing the movie Gravity, but this falls short on all counts. It's just not a great game.

I bought it yesterday for 20 bucks because I thought it will get PSVR support like it was announced last year. Now i heard that they will not bring ADR1FT to PSVR. What the hell is going on? Now it's just a **** walking simulator with a horrible story and repetitive gameplay. The controls are spongy and I get stuck on doors and get stuck every few meters!

After hours, i discovered there's only one way to actually enjoy this game, and it's by just floating around in space and enjoying the nerdy space scenery while listening to Pink Floyd on your phone. The score for this game is noisome, repetitive and painful on the ears- hardly what i'd call an actual soundtrack.

The other reviews about awful gameplay and the boredom of drifting at a snail's pace from one point to another are accurate. With such great visuals and concept, it's a shame this game didn't live up to half it's potential. This is, exclusively, just a spacewalk simulator. I got it for $7 and wouldn't have paid a penny more.

Regardless of the setting and the fantastic visuals, Adr1ft feels like an also-ran walking simulator with more rules and less explanation along the way. It’s a good distillation of the limits and how the genre both does and doesn’t work. It may have been a cool idea but it’s unable to deliver on the promise inherent in being trapped in space, resulting in something too slow, too tedious, and too unsatisfying when you reach the end of its too-long running time.

A first-person experience that nails the experience part, but - despite flashes of brilliance - reminds you all too often that an astronaut's job can be...well, a bit dull. [Sept 2016, p.109]

Initially exhilarating, but ultimately deflating, its sensational setup is disappointingly squandered. [October 2016, p77]
