    Although similar, a pretty big step back compared to Uncharted 2. While the ending (last quarter of the game) has some nice ideas and almost reaches the same heights, this remains recommended only for "fans of the genre"

    Me ha gustado mucho aunque lo considero algo peor que el 2.

    Sin lugar a dudas naughty Dog saber hacer video juegos.

    Boring and uninteresting story. Gameplay is an absolute joke. Just play the first mission. The animation is incredibly janky. It's clear that the review scores are inflated by critics who are just there to suck off Naughty Dog and fanboys who don't actually believe what they say.

    Not worth playing. These game is pretty much an action movie, where your actions are limited and repetitive. I can´t count how many times I have pressed triangle to open a door, look for a box to jump on, or watched how the character does all sorts of trickery without me even interacting.

    The story is predictable and childish, gameplay basic and repetitive, although graphics are good,    Not worth playing.     The first half of the game has brilliant story and it's very pleasant to play. From Natan's kidnapping begins mainly uneven shooter at which I was mainly nervous. Compared to other parts, there are definitely too few "puzzles" to solve.

    OK. So I am personally in love with the whole series. No doubt one of the iconic and amazing story lines out there. BUT WHY is 3rd game so call-of-duty like, why so much shooting, why so much realism, why so little story, why enemies are unrealistically difficult to kill? When you have to shoot someone with bazooka 3x in a raw, throw your controller on a wall and scream from frustration..OK. So I am personally in love with the whole series. No doubt one of the iconic and amazing story lines out there. BUT WHY is 3rd game so call-of-duty like, why so much shooting, why so much realism, why so little story, why enemies are unrealistically difficult to kill?     Mientras que sigue teniendo los mismos problemas que los anteriores (cosa que es una vergüenza), los gráficos siguen siendo muy impresionantes, la jugabilidad con muchas escenas de accion correctas y una historia que hace que uno se adentre y que le gusten los personajes, como la parte en el que cuentan el pasado de Drake, esa es la parte que mas disfrute de TODA LA SAGA hasta el momento.Mientras que sigue teniendo los mismos problemas que los anteriores (cosa que es una vergüenza), los gráficos siguen siendo muy impresionantes, la jugabilidad con muchas escenas de accion correctas y una historia que hace que uno se adentre y que le gusten los personajes, como la parte en el que cuentan el pasado de Drake, esa es la parte que mas disfrute de TODA LA SAGA hasta el momento.     The young drake/sully-background is touching, story wise. I would have liked more of that. As for gameplay, only the second quarter had a peak of annoyances, otherwise it was a flowing experience, with great gunfights giving opportunity for creative solutions.

    Впервые поиграл и прошел Uncharted 3 в 2019 году. Игра сделана на совесть и наблюдать за происходящим интересно. Но для статуса шедевра не хватает более интересного геймплея.

    This game is short. Way too short and very slow. If you could run faster or non stop then you would be able to complete it in 5 hours. It doesn't last more than 10 or 11 hours if you are slow and exploring everything like me. Not worth the price. Get it cheap if you can and I would recommend Devil May Cry 5 over this. It's much better.

    Buen juego pero no le llega a la rodilla al 2 la verdad. Vuelbe al modo hordas tiroteo hordas tiroteo del 1o que no me gusto nada, ahun que la historia es buena y tiene algunas escenas de accion memorables. Un buen juego muy entretenido.

    I hated playing this game. The game was too Repetitive and bad maps. Escaping the boat was the worst part because it was dragged across 3-4 chapters and everything was predictable. I’ve recently played the first 2, so this one is a big let down. Hopefully the 4th installment is nothing like my experience with this one

    This game pushes the boundaries for what video games can be just like its predecessor. Fast paced, action packed, third person combat with dynamic set pieces, an epic soundtrack. Truly feels like a Hollywood blockbuster. Worth playing hundreds of times. Never gets old. Just EPIC!

    Much like my Uncharted 2 rating, I want to say I understand why some people may find this review unfair. I am playing and rating a 2011 game in 2019 and the technological landscape had undergone a seismic disruption in the time between. So this is more like my opinion on how the game is holding up 8 years after its release. And like Uncharted 2, my answer is simple: it's garbage. TheMuch like my Uncharted 2 rating, I want to say I understand why some people may find this review unfair. I am playing and rating a 2011 game in 2019 and the technological landscape had undergone a seismic disruption in the time between. So this is more like my opinion on how the game is holding up 8 years after its release. And like Uncharted 2, my answer is simple: it's garbage. The invisible walls were prominent and felt out of place, the graphics was rubbish, the shooting was one of the worst I've ever experienced and the ledges that you're meant to use for traversal stuck out like a sore thumb. The plot epitomised the notion of a "big dumb action game" and at no point throughout the experience, did I feel engaged with the game's protagonists. Having said that however, and contrary to what a lot of other have said, I actually felt that Uncharted 3 was an improvement over its two predecessors. Graphically, it was still disappointing. If anything, the technological leap from 1 to 2 was much more noticeable than the jump from 2 to 3. But the pacing was faster (the game didn't felt as dragged-out as 1 and 2) and the action involved somehow gave me a heightened sense of urgency. Nevertheless, compared to other 2019 releases, this was still a rubbish game for anyone to play. So if, for whatever reason, in 2019 or beyond, you're still contemplating whether or not you should purchase this game, my answer is "no". No you shouldn't. If, like me, you only wanted to play through Uncharted 1-3, in order to get a better grasp of background for the much acclaimed Uncharted 4, my advice would be that you save your time and money, and watch a couple of YouTube summaries instead. This was an utter waste of my time and I can say, with no shame, that I've already re-sold my physical copy of the shop where I got this from in the first place.… Expand

    This is simply the best game on Playstation 3. Beautiful graphics, fun gameplay and a great story all in one package. You don't wanna miss this.

    Part 2 of this series is, to my mind, the least of the 4. Still a game that is good for hours of fun but in the shadow of the other parts.

    Nothing changed of course in the concept. Strong story, beautiful locations and lots of adventure!

    I have lots of dear nostalgic memories about this game when i first played it in 2011 on ps3 but recently i gave another go to the uncharted trilogy with next gen ps4. I have to say that this game is still as awesome as in 2011.     I have lots of dear nostalgic memories about this game when i first played it in 2011 on ps3 but recently i gave another go to the uncharted trilogy with next gen ps4. I have to say that this game is still as awesome as in 2011. Love how they finally implemented good close combat system to the game that is still to this day fun and brutal. I just love to replay missions and just beat enemies in close combat, it never gets old! Drake's deception has maybe three times more epic moments than the previous adaptations which includes bar fights, sinking ships and falling planes. Those moments are just best in the series. Soundtrack is incredible and it still gives me goosebumps.
    This game has almost none negative things that really affect the gameplay than movement system being sometimes kinda clunky. But i have to name couple of them. AGAIN the main villain and their story arc is just mediocre. They are just these bad guys without better than mediocre motives. Even the plot feels little bit ripped from the last game with all the lost cities and stuff. Just with a different location moving from snowy mountains to huge deserts. On top of the final act is just like from the last game. Nothing new. Just the same old plot used again. I was going to give this game 9/10 but after writing this review I decided that it's closer to 8 than 9
    I fully recommend Uncharted 3 to all action/adventure game fans and if you played the first two you have to play this too to complete the trilogy

And it is very much felt from first minutes. The plot is fragmentary, a lot of things move as is, without preliminary history. The 3rd part a big step backwards, in comparison with an improbable 2nd part. HereUncharted 3 is the simplest and boring part of a series. Here only 1 new thing - abrupt level with the falling plane in the desert. In 2 parts of such episodes there was 3-4. Still not bad told about Drake's history in the childhood. And all the rest already was, and there passed 2 years after release 2 parts. Yes it is still Uncharted, and therefore an adventure game, not having analogs. And the 3rd part it is possible to forgive only because people who had to do it worked on Last of Us. As for a remaster for PS4, it turned out the most insignificant, owing to age of a game.… Expand

    When I played it for the first time I was truly charmed how great this game is. It felt almost like a blockbuster, adventure movie with its cinematic cut-scenes in this world of treasure hunters. The story and the atmosphere is amazing. The music fits the adventuring theme of the game perfectly.
    One of the best things in the game are the characters. Each and every one of them has charm, that fits the game. And the differences between them creates one of the best comedy situations during the playtime. The villains are a bit flat (they are just evil - no questions asked) but I believe that is the franchise-wide problem.
    The gameplay is decent. The game forces you to change your weapon after you run out of ammo and I think it is a good decision. Thanks too that you can try out every weapon in the game instead of sticking to the just the favorite ones. I really liked that they reduced the amount of shooting comparing to previous chapters. There is more climbing and fist-fighting, which I think was a great decision.
    Some may say the second one was better, but for me, this is the best Uncharted before Uncharted 4 came out. Maybe I just like a desert setting more than a mountain one? Maybe. Hard to choose between two so amazing games.    … Expand

    De los juegos que te hacen comprar una consola, sin palabras, no me aburro del carismático Drake. Lo he jugado en pleno 2019, la versión Remasterizada de PS4 y es una gozada, ha envejecido muy bien el juego. La historia de 10, la única pega sería el bullet impact sobre los enemigos por decir algo pero perfectamente comprensible para un juego del 2011.

    The third part of Uncharted looks great, with more epic sequences than the previous game, however, the story (although it tries to have more weight with flashbacks and more characters) still lacks a certain weight, the gameplay has not been as polished but It keeps working and being very fun. It has some very tedious levels and I think it does not beat the second part.

    As always, the graphics are great and the gameplay is smooth as f*ck. The only thing that bothered me is that the Desert Eagle wasn't featured anymore, which is not a big deal but I missed that gun.
    The story was told exceptional, but it was in my opinion the second worst right after Uncharted 4. I just don't like the whole middle eastern setting towards the end of the    Definitely a 9/10

    This game is mega stupid. Your enemies has unlimited ammo, unlimited granates and some enemies has immortality. You can hit them on the head (without shield, helmet, etc) and they are ok. For one adventure you kill approx 1000 people. And in hand fight you can knock down 20 enemies. You play 10 hours but 5hours is still same cutscen, same problem and jump and crawl up, up up, down down.This game is mega stupid.     Am not big fan of Uncharted style but i am fan of the series and i have them all becuase the game is really fun and enjoyable, and first i played 2 i like the game i like the story and gamplay and action, but in my opinion 3 is better, first reason they show you the past of Drake when he was a kid and he met Sully for the first time, i like the weapons here its diffrent then 2, the story is awosome and more realistic then 2, there no monsters and invincible creatures, thats why i like it more, and the action is amazing same like 2 no difrrents in my opinion, gameplay is same then but there is an important thing they made new here, is return the grenade after your enemy throw it to you, the diffuculty is very hard its more hard then 3 even there is no strong creatures in it, your enemy comes to you while you hide, and there more snipers then any uncharted game.    … Expand

    A good game that feels too similar to it's predecessor. The story was enjoyable, but it didn't offer up anything else new to push it to the 9 or 10 level for me. Everything is still great, it just played like Uncharted 2.5. If you liked Uncharted 2, definitely check this out. Just don't get too excited for it.

The voice cast will keep your interest even when the action momentarily dies down. If not, then the orchestra music will captivate. There was no need for Naughty Dog make big changes to the combat because the previous game, Uncharted 2, wasIt's true that the story of Uncharted 3 sometimes slows down the pace of the game, but it quickens up fluidly and then has awesome action sequences. The voice cast will keep your interest even when the action momentarily dies down. If not, then the orchestra music will captivate. There was no need for Naughty Dog make big changes to the combat because the previous game, Uncharted 2, was already very fun to play.
    My absolute favorite aspect of Uncharted 3 is the cooperative play, though. It was the most fun I've ever had playing a video game so far. After maxing out my cooperative load-out and earning all of the cooperative achievements, I continued to play that mode for several months because it was pure fun for me.    … Expand

    This game doesn't deserve its score. Its much worse in terms of story and characters from 2, and in terms of level design. In part two i was never bored and i was always suprised, here its more like Michael Bay movie - more explosions but empty inside.

    And it is too repetetive. To much of the same. It aged very badly.

    Great game made by an amazing studio, One of my favorite games on the PlayStation 3. Not the best in the trilogy, that one is 2 but 3 managed to have more and more interesting puzzles.

    Uncharted 3 Drake's Deception is my favorite game on the PS3. It out does Uncharted 2 by a mile, the story is great and the gameplay has been improved yet again, the set pieces in this game are amazing and the multiplayer mode is a lot better than before. This game is a masterpiece 10/10 any day!

    Another amazing Uncharted installment. Heart pounding gameplay on intense moments from shooting enemies to fighting them hand-to-hand combat. They significantly improved the hand-to-hand combat with this game. A must-have game for PS owners!
    Unfortunately antagonist weren't as amazing as the previous one but they're definitely still good. Uncharted 2 set the bar too high

    Great Game. Coop-Mode is really nice and a good addition to the Uncharted-Series. Story and Online are good but in my opinion Uncharted 2 is still a bit better.

    Naughty Dog once again delivers a unique cinematic experience that has no equal. With superb graphics, unbelievable set-pieces, superb story telling and great characters, Uncharted 3 is a genre-defining game. Next time though, we'd like to see better shooting mechanics.

    Compared to the previous two titles, I wouldn't really say it's an improvement in any way. I mean, it's an Uncharted game - characters and story is amazing as usual. But it feels more repetitive and forced than the prior titles. Stick with Uncharted 2 imo.

    Uncharted 3 is not a bad game at all. The graphics are amazing for the system, the main cast is as charming as ever and the combat at it´s core is still quite fun. However the plot structure is a total mess, the ending feels rushed and the more open level design only makes the difficulty more cheap and unforgiving. Still, this is a pretty good game, though nowhere near as great as among thieves.

In addition, I have not liked the fact that you do not to the desert till the last chapters of the game; this should not happen, taking into account the desert is precisely the cover of the game! The previous chapters are OK in general, but almost never brilliant; and the puzzles are extremely boring and tedious to me.

    Still, it would be unfair not to give this game an 8 or a 9, since gameplay is fantastic as always and almost no game has better graphics than Uncharted.

    However, any of the first three Uncharted games (which are the ones I have played up to the moment) can be considered a top-quality game in my opinion. As I usually say, a masterpiece needs more than just a very good gameplay and an Indiana Jones-like storyline; it needs truly idiosyncratic art and a more memorable storyline. Once I beat an Uncharted game, I always have that feeling of having played a great video game, but which will not leave a mark on me.    … Expand

Nathan Drake, Victor Sullivan, Elena Fisher, all return and are more well acted and performed. The game tries to go in depth about Nathan Drake’s background but fails to dig deep enough. The main villains are bland and come to a weak closure. Uncharted 3 does not do very much to change the series formula in terms of gameplay but has made tweaks and improvements in a few areas. The melee combat which was there in others games but was often not very useful is fully utilized and expanded here to make for some great fights. The shooting controls are improved and handle much better. Platforming another staple of the series returns here and is better than ever and much smoother and easier to control. The gameplay does make regressions though such as more difficult puzzles that were more frustrating than fun and increased difficulty spike that led to unfair deaths. Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception is an overall fun game that suffers from technical problems and a lack of innovation.

    Not as revolutionary as Drake's Fortune and not as good as Among Thieves. Drake's Deception is kind of like Indiana Jones if Michael Bay was in charge. It has terrific graphics and epic set pieces, however the story is cliched and too similar to previous titles and the gun play becomes tedious and repetitive. Its still a very, very good game and better than any competitors out there.

    The gameplay is about as good as 2 with the only improvements being better combat and the gun fights felt a little more fun and challenging than before. Tho 4 is still better in this category as well.
    The music is great like all the games, the performances are top tier like all the other games too. 3 for sure has the best theme for Drake too.
    Can't say much about the graphics as a played the PS4 trilogy but from what I've seen it looks pretty good for a PS3 game.
    This game holds the title for best set pieces. Only thing it beats Uncharted 4 in imo
    Overall this is definitely my favorite of the trilogy, even tho it just barely beats 2. If you've played the first two you're really doing yourself a disservice by not playing it.    … Expand

    The visuals are still as impressive as ever. Still using 30fps, but still maintaining without much drop. It pretty much is 2 just in a different setting. Still great voice acting, good set pieces, barebones story, solid gunplay and cover and nothing really raises the bar. That's fine because the second was pretty good for what it was and playing it safe after achieving massive success from 2 was a smart move for Naughty Dog. I like Cutter in this game alot because he feels like the fan who gets to guest star in one of Nathan's adventures. The voice actor really nails his British accent and mannerisms.

    The biggest issue I have now for the Uncharted series is not having the balls to kill off characters. In a scene where Cutter could easily have died by Marlow and her men, he instead just jumps and breaks his leg instead. Even when Sullivan gets shot in the exotic city, it was merely a hallucination by Nate when he drinks the djinn-corrupted water. The dialogue and delivery really makes the player feel like Nate is in over his head and should stop before something bad happens. Having this and bait the player into thinking someone will die and not follow through is incredibly ****

    Uncharted 3 is definitely a blast to play and I would recommend people to check it out if you like a big dumb action movie. It's plot sucks, but its acting and setpieces are definitely fun to watch. The pirate ship, airship and cargo truck/horse trek is very wonderful to be apart of. The multiplayer is still not that great, but for fans and newcomers it might be a distraction. Very good game in the end.    … Expand

    While the horrible QTE driven close combat system spoils the formerly great gameplay, Naughty Dog went far over the top when it comes to the point were Nathan has to escape death. The Story at least is quite nice so you might want to play it if you liked Uncharted 2, but it's sadly not more than a solid game.

    Everything I want from a game, engaging story, mystery, charm, adventure and bad guys to shoot. On normal it's not that challenging but there is never a dull moment with this game. It stay with you

    go play uncharted 2 instead, this one is a sleeper compared to it. after 3-4 hours of gameplay nothing really happens and shoot bad guys because they're bad...

    Uncharted 3 Drakes Deception conseguiu manter o nivel dos anteriores, sendo melhor que o primeiro na minha opnião, a historia continua boa, oque eu gostei do game é que cita muito o T. E Lawrence ou Lawrence da Arabia que tem ate um filme que é um dos meus favoritos, a trilha sonora continua fantastica, o jogo tem ótimos momentos, o grafico é incrivel, principalmente quando se passa noUncharted 3 Drakes Deception conseguiu manter o nivel dos anteriores, sendo melhor que o primeiro na minha opnião, a historia continua boa, oque eu gostei do game é que cita muito o T.     Un juegazo con todas las letras! Gran historia, ambientacion y graficos. Mencion especial al comienzo del juegos, donde podremos jugar con Nathan cuando era pequeño. Un indispensable para ps3.

    increíble el bajón que pega la saga con este juego, incluso el propio juego va de más a menos

    bugs, granadas gratis, enemigos suicidas, historia con mil clichés, zonas en las que hay que morir si o si para que al hacer respawn sean abordables, cuerpo a cuerpo copiado nefastamente de los Batman lo peor de todo es que los errores de IA y apuntado/jugabilidad continuaron en los    increíble el bajón que pega la saga con este juego, incluso el propio juego va de más a menos

    This is the greatest Exclusive 3rd person shooter you can play actually on PS3, and one of the best looking games of the PS3, with TLOU and Beyond Two Souls, in this game, you play as Nathan Drake, a fortune hunter, which is in search of the legendary lost city of ubar, you will feel really excited with those graphics, A game which needs to be played on your ps3, Seal of approval.

    An amazing continuation of the Nathan Drake series. While it does not quite live up to the polish of Among Thieves, it is still undeniably awesome. Great graphics, a great story, amazing set pieces, and fun gameplay make this a must have.

    This game falls short for being as great as the 2nd one, but by a hair. Level design, protagonist, story line, thrilling, cinematic and game play were great. The one thing that they did better with this game than the others is that they did a perfect balance between puzzles, climbing and combat. The downs were that the antagonist were a bit more dull than the last one (they weren't bad),This game falls short for being as great as the 2nd one, but by a hair. The downs were that the antagonist were a bit more dull than the last one (they weren't bad), but definitely not as interesting. Protagonist were great, but not enough of Elena, Chloe, and Cutter. Despite having so many thrilling parts, there were also so many bland parts in the game. The ending was disappointing the last boss was too easy, the ending was a rip off from the 2nd, and the antagonist go out very anticlimactically.

    All in all a very great game! Too bad it lacked the potential of being as great or even better than the 2nd Uncharted, but it had too many flaw, but I enjoyed it through out. A 8.9/10 for this one.    … Expand

    The characterisations by the actors is second to none and even though this tall-tale takes you to fantastical places and events, the script is never once unbelievable. You never feel like an outsider. If anything, you'll feel right at home, ensconced in the constant drama of this loveable cast of returning reprobates and reprehensible villains. [Dec 2011, p60]

    Only a few camera troubles stopped us from giving Drake's Deception the highest rating. Uncharted 3 is without doubt the best PS3 exclusive game of this year. [Dec 2011]
