    I really hate giving a Resident Evil game a low score but this one just wasnt so great. The graphics are great, the controls are what to expect. I thought the monsters and bosses were good but the puzzles just sucked. I mean there were just too many of them and some of them didnt even make sense. I think the over emphasis on puzzles is what ruined the game for me but i dont know. iI really hate giving a Resident Evil game a low score but this one just wasnt so great. I do like the story however and thats really about it. This is perhaps the lowest score I would give a main Resident Evil Game.… Expand

    It's far from the worst entry, but it's definitely not the best. Especially when compared to RE1-3. The flow of the game is often tedious and slow. The storyline feels a bit unusual for a Resident Evil game, but still entertaining nonetheless. RE2 and RE3 feel more progressive in the technical achievement department. The only thing it had going at the time was nice visuals and cutscenes, which even back in 2001 were very Dreamcast esque hence being a port of the DC version.… Expand

    When Resident Evil: Code Veronica X first released back 2001, Gameplay is Perfect, Story was Best even more thanks to Wesker.

    Total: 8/10
    I was once Die Hard Fan but stop caring Since Series become crap once Resident Evil 4 Released.

    Looks good, but that's about it. It's slow going and some of the puzzles are crazy.

    i expected something new for resident evil for the ps2 and i was really hyped for this game but it turned to be nothing new and it is boring bad graphics and it had the worst start ever

    The parts I don't like;

    1_) Security Boxes: I think it is very unnecessary. It's a boring factor that prolongs the game for nothing. 2_) The Tyrant Boss battle on the plane is bad. The field is very narrow and you can die very quickly. Movement is restricted. 3_) I don't know if there is a solution, but poisoning butterflies are very annoying and constantly respawn. 4_) Some camera    The parts I don't like;

    5_) In one part of the game, Chris and Claire's inventory is separated. And if Chris doesn't have a gun, the game gets stuck in the Alexia boss fight. This is bad design.
    6_) And there is no typewriter during the last episode from Chris to Claire. If you fall under the stupid stone trap, you have to start over.
    7_) Escaping Stave's monstrous form is often uncertain. He can kill in 2 hits. And at first I didn't even know I had to run. Annoying.

    In conclusion;

    Unfortunately, the RE game that I couldn't like after RE6. Some aspects are nice, but it's a very long game and there's too much backtracking. And the voice acting of Steve is terrible. Steve's character isn't very good either. Wesker remained in the background. My favorite part is the sibling relationship and story of Alfred and Alexia.    … Expand

    I played it when it was released, and i dont know what i was expecting, but i didnt like it too much and at some point I just abandoned it.
