   Simply one of the best games I've ever played. The controls, weapons, physics and balance were probably never topped by numerous otherSimply one of the best games I've ever played. The controls, weapons, physics and balance were probably never topped by numerous other competent Worms games. A game that encourages strategy and imagination. Good hot-seat play, good online play.
   
   Team17 has continued to update this game and it should run well even on modern computers, if you're considering buying it. High level resolutions are supported, giving a greater view to the action than was likely possible in 1999. I've bought this game twice now and I feel more than satisfied with both purchases.… Expand

   I played the demo version back then, so this is my first time playing the full game. Oh the nostalgia kicks in. I'm glad that "Super Sheep"I played the demo version back then, so this is my first time playing the full game. Oh the nostalgia kicks in. I'm glad that "Super Sheep" was the only "Special Weapon" in the demo version and it is still my favorite weapon. The worms are so cute, so adorable, so innocent...hmm... I love their funny quotes like: What are you nuts - What was that - Whoops - We Are The Winners and so on. A good tip is to set the resolution to 640x480 otherwise it is way too much HD, at least for me.… Expand

   Easily the pinnacle of the Worms series. Everything that needed to be added to the earlier games without the more gimmicky and confusingEasily the pinnacle of the Worms series. Everything that needed to be added to the earlier games without the more gimmicky and confusing content of the later games. This is the essence of Worms. Should delight fans of the series and newcomers alike. Easy enough to pick up and play, but perfecting the art of Wormfare is no small thing. A better system for finding multi-player games over the internet would have made this one absolutely perfect; unfortunately, players have to directly connect to someone they've contacted outside of the game or use the third -party GameRanger service to find a match.… Expand
