    The game is full of bugs, glitchy, laggy, outdated graphics and just not a good game with several restrictions, that are really out of place for a game in 2022. Like... I wasn't even able to join my friend's guild, because wow uses racial segregation for their 2 playable factions and my race wasn't allowed in his faction.     pvp is due to the class imbalance a complete mess.
    loot system is frustrating.
    Still FOMO and time gating.
    Still faction restrictions.
    Still no player housing.
    Still outdated looking gear.

    Buggiest expansion I've ever seen. Very many maintenances, so you can't even play it most of the time, especially, if you have a real life next to gaming and can't afford playing for the short periods of time every now and then when the servers are up.
    Quests are hyper focused on lgbtq... at the same time the whole game is built on racial segregation. Racism is fine I guess? Which is it    Buggiest expansion I've ever seen.     Racism is the very cornerstone of this game. You can't choose the faction you like and at the same time all the races you like, because racial segregation ist still a thing in this game. Considering the kind of devs, who work on this game it doesn't come as a surprise, though.     The story, while bad and not really worth getting into after Legion, is locked yet again behind a gigantic renown grind. Why? Because the devs love your monthly sub fee.
    While fair play is a foreign word in this game, because of class imbalance, you wouldn't even want to participate in raiding. Dungeons and raids this time around are very boring.
    This game is also dated when it comes to it's graphics, no player housing, awful gear and clunky looking player models with almost no customizations.
    The world feels empty, even though my realm is supposed to be full. You really see how many players left over the last few years. wow almost feels like a ghost town these days.
    A ton of bugs in this expansion aren't helping either. Can't give it more than 2 points so far.

    If you didn't like the previous expansion you won't like this one. Simply because for some reason the devs just keep holding on to the same archaic stuff, that clearly didn't work, but they keep it anyway. This constant raid, m+ or die mentality is incredibly hurtful to the game, because they sell it as a mmorpg, yet it has become nothing but an e-sport game and even at that it is bad, because they can't balance classes properly.

    Regarding rpg you get almost nothing and definitely nothing new. This game is now 18 years or so old. Normal devs, especially those with so much money on their hands like Blizzard, would maybe start updating their game, the graphics, the player models, customizations, normal features for today's games like player housing and proper gear... they ignore all of it. Like literally all of it.
    This game's world is a dumpster fire to put it lightly and ugly to look at, beginning with the character selection screen, which not only forces you to take part in a racist faction system based on racial segregation, it also gives you poorly aged avatars, that didn't even receive basic things like sliders and color pallets over the last two decades.

    Professions aren't fun either. It feels like a gold sink and if you do alts, it feels like a job. It feels now like a chore to do more quests to keep up with the knowledge points so professions are taking up even more time, arbitrarily for barely any return. The crafting order system is truly a nightmare. Even crafting consumables for yourself is a gold loss because the mats cost more than the product does on the auction house.    … Expand

Seriously, do not go in voice chat, if you want to run a raid or dungeon. If other player notice you have a dialect, instead of pure American english, they will harass you. I've lost count on how many times this happened. The devs foster to these people with their racist faction system. Wouldn't even be surprised, if some of them are racist aswell, given the lawsuit and all and since they are still keeping racial segregation in wow and seem to be proud of such a toxic system.
    The developers are also more into a spam dungeon type game vs giving us an actual mmo. In short, same old game with the same outdated stuff and mentality.    … Expand

    Gosh, it felt like you were losing brain cells while playing through the main story in Dragonflight. At least, from what they voluntarily show us, because of course, they've locked away a lot behind renown grinds to squeeze as much money as possible from their players, as Blizzard demands not only the overpriced expansion fee but also monthly costs for the game.     Anyway, similar to the previous expansions, the story this time around is completely ridiculous. Thanks to the massive allegations against the developers, they've hastily added a lot of LGBT content to the game, and you'll encounter one trans NPC and member of the LGBT community after the other during your quests, and now there aren't even two genders for the player anymore.

    Considering how the story was before, this comes out of nowhere, of course. I wouldn't even mention it though, but when you have a game like WoW, whose foundation is built on extreme racism and segregation and you leave that part unchanged... well, anyone who takes Blizzard's desperate attempt at progressivism seriously probably can't be helped anymore. Sure, they'll soon allow cross-faction guilds, but that's where it ends already. There will still be strict racial segregation between factions. The race you want to be will still force you to choose only one of the two factions. So, you still have no freedom in this game. Everything is dictated by your appearance. That is everything but progressive.

    But it doesn't stop there. This game is miles behind others in every imaginable aspect and is just outdated through and through, or I would almost call it archaic in its current state. As an MMORPG fan, what annoys me the most however is the terrible story, which really makes your fingernails roll up so far.    … Expand

    It started out promising with a neat storyline and some back to basics gameplay. Halfway through though, it started to    Once again, the end-game is the end. The game is so glitchy that I'd argue they outright lied about recommended and minimum specs.

    It started out promising with a neat storyline and some back to basics gameplay. Halfway through though, it started to look like two, three, four different games depending on the area I was in. Whatever teams worked on the first part of the game understood WOW lore, pacing, and spacing.

    By the time you get to the Forbidden Reach in this new patch, you've got every horrible, frustrating component in the game thrown in during the first hour of the patch. Hard to locate quests stuffed in a stray mountain surrounded by trees, tag-a-long questers who block the actual quest objects you're trying to pick up, frustrating terrain with zero color or personality, and quests and enemies packed in so far together that you can't tell one from another.

    If I had to describe "Return to Forbidden Reach," it's "Poorly done book report thrown together by a third grader at the last minute." Yes, you packed 20 quests here, but there's no pacing, no story line, and absolutely no reason to do any of it. If you do get a great new piece of armor, it won't be in your class.

    What makes it even more difficult is that the ONLY people left playing this game are Twitchers, professional gamers, or diehards. So if you do by chance try the end game, I can guarantee you'll have a miserable time and deal with the most obnoxious people imaginable. They refused to listen to the chorus of people explaining that difficulty level in Shadowlands was far too much for people with family, careers, and lives, and chose to stick with an end-game that requires way too much study and far too many reflexes and time for anyone getting older (You know, the people who originally loved Warcraft). The people left playing it at the end are toxic.    … Expand

I was expecting something great after BFA and Slands failed. The weekly events on the dragon isles (Community soup, hunts, etc) are so bland and lack any depth. The community soup causes extreme amounts of unplayable lag in Azure Span.

    I    After I got loremaster and cleared mythics there was nothing that brought me back to play. This expansion feels like absolutely bare minimum effort. I was expecting something great after BFA and Slands failed. The weekly events on the dragon isles (Community soup, hunts, etc) are so bland and lack any depth. The community soup causes extreme amounts of unplayable lag in Azure Span.

    I wish that was the only issue. Blizzard has proved since pre-patch they are completely incapable of fixing bugs and reading beta reports/feedback. There are still many bugs, glitches, and exploits that have been reported since beta that are not being fixed.

    The game outside of Dragon Isles is just a wreck it has been completely abandoned, old content is riddled with scaling bugs, quests that are glitched or cannot be completed. The scaling of BFA is just nauseating. It feels like private server quality.

    Once you complete the quests in Dragon Isles (and there aren't many) you start to see just how barebones this expansion is. You are left with the same gameplay loop we have had since legion. M+ (These are just terrible, especially if you are not playing a class with high mobility.) PVP (No new battlegrounds, solo queue was a + I guess) Raid (Boring, over dragons already.) This is the expansion we needed to see something new added to the loop such as housing.

    The community at this point is just not worth the stress, I deal with just about as many trolls and toxic players as I do in games like League of Legends.

    The final thing I want to mention is the laughably boring rep grinds they added. The Obsidian Sanctum and Cobalt Assembly. This was proof enough that development time was cut short. This is world of warcraft in 2022, and this is the type of innovative content you give us? Terrible.

    But don't worry guys we get the trading post next patch! That'll save it! More cosmetic and collectables is what we need. Not worth the $10 price increase this time around. What a joke. The only thing positive about this expansion was that it is the final nail in the coffin for me with this company and MMO.    … Expand

Don't even get me started on the gameplay regarding classes or the bugs in this expansion or that awful looking Dracthyr race, that can't even wear clothes and is only allowed to be a female human and male blood elf in visage, because giving all races dragon eyes is too much work, I guess? Those devs, jeez...

    Armor is still not dyeable and consists of the same sets from over 15 years ago, instead of designing proper armor that doesn't look glued to the avatar.
    The game's story has become catastrophically bad in recent years.
    The new race, the Dracthyr, are remodelled female Worgen who can't even assume different forms from all races like real dragons. They also can't fly properly or even wear clothes. Nope, not a joke. It can hardly get lazier.
    Speaking of laziness, it's 2023, this is an MMO... and there's still no player housing.
    The classes are still unbalanced, and there are still unnecessary restrictions on social interaction. Players are still strictly separated from each other if they're not in the same faction. Normal chatting is not possible, trading is not possible, LFR/LFD, questing is not possible. It's just frustrating.    … Expand

And there are just no upgrades in this game, even though it's 2023. I tried revisiting some zones and the graphics were abysmal. I'm not asking for Unreal 5 engine upgrades here. But for godsakes, atPretty bad yet again. Wow isn't a world anymore. I'ts being reduced to a sandbox. Characters swing wildly from over the top Hamlet levels of cheesy ham in one cutscene or dialog to flat unemotional in the next and at the worst times to be completely deadpan.     wow looks like a mobile game and the p2w elements don't help either, though let's be real here, even mobile games these days have better graphics, more customization options and in general more stuff going on than in this mmo, that doesn't even allow you to properly play with your friends, let alone let you choose your preferred race with your preferred faction, wihout forcing you to participate in an outdated system, that relies on racism.    … Expand

    This is gonna be garbage WoD 2.0, log in for raid then logout. Legion was truly the last good expansion. Lore was still fine and not this woke garbage. Truly a reason to login and play the game with epic rewards, artifact skins and their acquisition was worth the effort, especially on alts.
    A shame, lots of potential again in the art design and direction but this expansion instead of striking a balance like Legion, went the route of WoD. Boring and login only to raid. Another fail expansion, a shame.    … Expand

    It baffles me how Blizzard want so much money from their players for each and every month, aswell as money for each new expansion, yet offers nothing really new.

    And the graphics... my goodness, the game looks terrible. They don't even bother updating the graphics.

    I won't even start on the stupid story of the game. Rarely have I experienced such nonsense.

There is so much lacking, in all different aspects of the game, UI, spec balance, still racial segregation for the playable factions, pvp, neglected outdated graphics, pve, professions, open world, toxicity, story etc..     I also hate that they kept the same treadmill, players have to chase in order to be able to even play this game. Some people might like the hamster wheel, but I can't stand having to re-gear my characters every few weeks just to be ablle to play. Not for a subscription, anyway.
    Time gated professions killed that activity for me. I don't have the time to collect all available knowledge points per week for all of them.
    The story and characters just aren't engaging, kept the same horrible retcons of the last 2 expansions and well, it doesn't make me care for the world we are supposed to play in.
    Cross faction being half done is also frustrating. Yes, I can have my chars in the opposing faction's guild, but I can't do open world of lfr/D with guild members, I can't freely choose to be whatever race I enjoy in the opposing faction, because racism in wow is still treated as something necessary. Like wtf?

    Regarding racism in wow:
    Many said it already, it is really annoying to have racial segregation in this game, which is still treated as a necessary foundation. If you claim to be this virtuous liberal loving and tolerant company that is putting all these lgbt npcs in the story for progress and representation, but at the same time continue to strictly segregating playable races from eachother and forcing players to choose a faction based on races, then you're not being consistent and I won't respect you. Simple as that.
    Toggle auto self cast not working.
    Siege on dragonbane keep disappearing.
    Mage bugs:
    Mana regen will sometimes completely drop to extreme low lvs and ignore the enlightened talent. Arc barrage will sometimes miss or do no damage at all. Clear casting arc missles drop off when you try to move. even though talented for movement.
    Customizations and graphics in the old world are a joke = very outdated and limited.
    Several pages for my item restoration are blank across multiple characters.
    I can start the dragon riding races but the path arrow goes straight into the ground and the gates do not spawn. Unable to complete.
    Factions and classes are still unbalanced... to no surprise. Also still unable to fully play with the other faction due to Blizzard's toxic restrictions.
    When call pet is placed on any action bar it does not work for hunters.
    All jewelcrafting reagents stored in reagent banks appear in the crafting window, but fail to craft with the message, “That item is not a valid target.” Reagents stored in the normal part of the bank don’t appear in the JC crafting window at all.

    Seriously, I could go on and on. This game is not worth it's money. I want to play it, but these devs clearly don't want us to enjoy it, so bye for now.    … Expand

    The dragon isles are littered with bugs.
    Classes are completly unbalanced.
    If you are not raiding, there is basically no end game for you.
    Do you love time gating? Yeah, me neither, but there is a lot of it.

    Another point I'd like to agree on is the criticism regarding racism in wow.
    The whole game uses racism as it's foundation. Let that sink in.
    Even though we are living in the 21. century. Racial segregation is not treated as bad, but as good for the faction system of Horde and Alliance. Race is more important than value. I think I don't need to add more.
    It's both from a gameplay perspective and from an ethical point of view a really bad restriction for the community. Races should be neutral, yet they aren't. Race is more important than anything else in this game. The way you look is what dictates what faction you are allowed to join.

    While dragon riding as the only new feature in this expansion makes travel across the dragon isles easier than in previous expansions, it becomes boring very fast. because we aren't allowed to use our normal mounts and dragon riding is also really bad for farming.

    Other than that there is really not much to talk about. Pretty much the same old restrictions, limitations and lack of standard mmo features like player housing. Not really a game I would recommend.    … Expand

Seriously, who builds their two faction system upon racism and then tries to claim they're progressive because they've thrown in a few LGBTQ stories and characters?
    It's hypocritical at best and downright a frustrating restriction for players.

    And even if you are interested in the bad story of the game, you're not even allowed to see it unless you spend days, or even weeks, grinding for renown. The whole game seems to be designed to be as repetitive as possible, just to milk players' monthly subscription fees.

    In short, if you're looking for a game that's worth your time and money Dragonflight is definitely not it. At least so far, but the next patch looks just as bad.

I could deal with Cata and Mists, hell, I enjoyed them, but the new design philosophy is just not it. It was boring in WoD and its boring today. At no point has it ever felt good. Ill go over a few of the problems.

    Linear, irrelevant leveling experience - Check

    Worst, most bland itemization in WoW history prioritizing ILVL over anything meaningful - Check

    Class design that exists simply in Tank/Healer/DPS and each architype being a clone of the other. DPS = Filler Spender. Tanks = 2 Charge Reactive, 20% and 50% reduction CD. Boring, bland, and probably designed by 1 person. Cheap and boring in order to create "balance" by severe homogenization - Check

    A progression system going nowhere. No longer to you beat Deadmines and move on to SFK. No longer do you gear up to get into the next big raid. No longer is their actual progression. Instead what you find here is a hamster wheel design of reserving dungeons/raids to you nigh infinitely for ILVL rewards. At no point are you ever going anywhere, at no point are you ever growing. You are simply doing it for ILVL for minor DPS increases, that is redundant as each difficulty is increase HP levels of mobs. You are effectively on a hamster wheel, going nowhere, achieving nothing and the only people this benefits are the devs who can shovel out infinitely rehashed content. Bland, awful design > Check

    So thats it. Progression sucks, classes suck, itemization isnt even trying. They have 1 stat called ILVL in reality. The leveling is redundant and over in a day or two. Theres nothing here worth doing. GGWP fire the whole team and lets start over.    … Expand

However the only good thing about this expansion so far is the talent system does add a bit RPG to your character again outside of that it is a lobby game with no substance and some of you would argue well its the foundation for the “third era” but that era should of started after legion.

    This is my take on expansion do intend to do m+ and raiding when it’s out that will soak some time but for me personally I can’t justify the £39.99 base game cost should of been £29.99 my opinion.    … Expand

    But that brings me to the next point. After all these years, they still keep the racial separation for the factions. I mean, seriously? They include all sorts of LGBTQ+ stuff in the story, but racial separation is still considered good and necessary? Yeah, right.

    Basic MMO features like player housing or finally decent looking gear are, of course, still nonexistent in this game. They just don't exist, and the outdated graphics and models of playable races still haven't been updated.

    Half baked at best. Unfinished, full of exploits and bugs. It's like they didn't even try. We are PAYING TO BETATEST this mess. Class balance is completely out of whack. All settings, especially UI related keeps resetting. Action bars reverting. They don't even know how to write a simple spell tooltip anymore.

    There are no improvements regarding all the problems with imbalance in this game. So it is really not fun playing pve and pvp content. Also the amount of bugs in this expansion is just embarrassing.

    Same crap different year. Grinding the same 8 dungeons, 1 raid, PvP is a mess behind an enormous ridiculous grind after they lied incessantly about it before the expansion came out.

    Biggest waste of £40 in gaming, only addicts will enjoy this steaming faeces. No semblance of Warcraft in the game, complete waste. I pray WoW dies soon so we may get something better. Avoid.

    Dragon flying. It's good to let players fly right at the beginning, but it is not really flying. It is a watered-down version of the flying system in Guild Wars 2.
    I am not in general against copying features from other games, but they should at least do it right. Dragon riding in wow is not good and so far we can only use four mounts in the new zone. Not fun.

    Dracthyr is an overhauled female Worgen model, which even kept some of the Worgen animations like the sitting pose. Not very innovative. The design by itself is in my opinion meh, especially the head is really tiny compared to the body.
    What bothers me the most however is the fact, that despite it being a dragon, the dracthyr can't use all playable races for visage, but only female human and blood elf. That and in dragon form they can't use transmogs.
    All in all this race looks like a last minute project, which never got finished.

    I wish there would be more new features, but that is pretty much all. So I fully understand people complaining that they got shafted with this expansion. Blizzard gave us more of the same, but of course charged us anyway for this expansion.

    I think what they should do in order to save this expansion is:
    Adding all playable races for visage and to give the dragon form transmogs.
    Making all races neutral and available for both factions asap. As many stated, racism should not be a pillar of this game.
    Get skilled devs for the classes.
    Update the graphics, models and expand on the customizations (no, not just 5 more hair colors every few months. That is laughable and pretty embarrassing).
    Add mmorpg features, instead of making everying about e-sport.
    Fixing the lore. Not sure if that is still possible after the last expansions, but a mmorpg with cringe story like the one in wow is not really fun to play.    … Expand

    There is nothing new in this expansion:
    GW2 flying cloned as a selling new feature.
    Worgen skeleton cloned into an ugly mesh as a "new race".
    Talents made into a tree to give an illusion of choice, in reality most items are forced. Those few you are "free" to choose will be defined by the scenario (st / aoe )
    Same covenant abilities put into the talent trees. The rotation for some classes is almost identical to SL rotation.

    Hypocrisy at it's best:
    Trans npcs, gay couples, matriarchy... Blizzard tries so hard on inclusiveness, to whitewash their name. Yet the game is still based on a racial conflict, key characters in game are racists. You can't choose your faction, your appearance will identify which alliance you join.

    Uninteresting lore:
    Sylvanas was a key character in last 3 expansions, a strong independent woman surrounded by weak men. She ended up burning the World Tree with no one capable of stopping her, no one capable of bringing her to justice. Even the Lich King was unable to do anything against this strong woman. She defeated him easily and destroyed the Ice Crown Citadel.
    Now Alexstraza is taking her place. Surrounded by weak male characters she's the most powerful dragon around. She's already replaced Sylvanas on the game banner. It's almost certain that she'll keep growing her power, no one will be able to counter her. So get used to seeing her for next two expansions and wait for cataclysms.

    Conclusion:
    Stay away from WoW, check back on next expansion launch.    … Expand

However, Blizzard has ruined the enjoyment of this Expansion for those of us Gamers who play Video Games to escape from the Identity Politics, by inserting a large amount of Identity Politics, and activism in this expansion.

    If you don't enjoy seeing multiple quests in every Zone of the Dragon Isles that focuses on Gay Couples, then you should pass on this Expac. If it was 1 or two Quests, there would be no problem; the problem though is that there's multiple Quests and I mean 5 or More in the first two Zones if the Expac that I visited. I don't consider myself homophobic, but I don't want that garbage in my escapism. Some of us don't approve of Homosexuals, and do not want it shoved in our faces, especially when we are doing an activity specifically to avoid real life problems. Blizzard is now forcing their extreme left wing views on it's players, and if you argue that content like that doesn't belong in a Fantasy Video Game, you're attacked immediately for being Homophobic. This really broke my Heart because I have been a loyal World of Warcraft player since 2007, and forcing in theireft wing ideology into this game has ruined my desire to play it anymore. I had bought a $150 twelve months promotion, and had to argue with Blizzard customer support to get a refund, which they relented and are giving me my refund. It's sad that Blizzard knew that putting in this kind of content would likely anger % of the player base, and went forward with it anyway. If they remove that content, I'd consider going back, but let's be honest, they will never remove their activist content. So this is one player who has lost all desire to ever go back to WoW. Cela m'a dégouté de tenter les mm+. Parlons du nouveau système de métiers, qui est clairement d'une lourdeur est d'une complexité innommable ! Ok ils ont voulu apporter un peu de fraîcheur à ce dernier mais là c'est beaucoup trop, c'est fouillis à souhait on s'y perd. Les commandes de crafting, sur le papier ça pouvait être intéressant mais la réalité a vite enterré la fiction. C'est purement et simplement inutile. Et enfin, je n'ai pas parlé de raid pour la simple et bonne raison que le Lore (qui contribue grandement à ma motivation pour les raids) est complètement éclaté au sol dans cette extension. Et idem que les mm+ je n'ai même pas eu envie de raid... 2ème "exploit" en 17 ans de jeu. J'ai beau avoir adoré les origines des aspects, d'en savoir plus sur la chute de Neltharion mais que c'est vide de sens ! Blizzard à voulu surfer sur la mode des dragons qui règne actuellement en remettant les aspects au premier plan. On nous sort une nouvelle menace qui vient de nul part comme d'habitude avec une Raszageth au comportement digne d'une ado au summum de sa crise de rébellion pour libérer ses copains encore plus méchants qu'elle. Ca n'a aucun sens bon sang ! C'est mou, plat et ennuyeux au possible.
    Il y avait d'autres possibilités bien plus intéressantes notamment concernant le contenu sur les seigneurs du Vide ou sur La corruption de la Lumière et l'armée de Dark Yrel.

    Dernier point, le plus explosif : l'effet néfaste, selon moi, du Wokisme sur le jeu et sur son histoire. Cela a commencé doucement dans SL, pour débarquer tel un rouleau compresseur dans DF. On a commencé par supprimer les sexes. Plus d'homme, plus de femme maintenant on parle de morphologie... Je doute que toutes les personnes homosexuelles soient pour ce changement car à mon sens c'est une sérieuse dérive. Les dragons humanoïdes et les Draktyr males comme femelles n'ont quasiment aucune différence morphologique WTF... Alors que quand on regarde Alexstrasza on voit bien que c'est une femelle bon sang ! Parlons maintenant des romances, quand on pex on nous a mis en avant quelques romances entre PNJ et devinez quoi ? ce sont tous des couples gay... à croire que l'hétérosexualité soit devenue une honte ? Qu'on soit bien clair : OUI à l'ouverture d'esprit et à sa libre orientation sexuelle, NON à ce qu'une minorité veuille nous imposer leur vision de la vie.

    La société devrait toujours compter sur le bon sens de la majorité des gens pour faire évoluer les consciences et non pas sous la dictature et l'influence néfaste d'une poignée.

    Now, let's talk about the loot situation. It's like the developers want us to suffer. They dangle the carrot of epic loot in front of our faces, but it's always just out of reach, depending on pure luck.

    And let's not forget about the developers' hypocrisy.
    They've added several lgbtq+ elements to the game, hoping to improve their reputation after the lawsuits against them. But at the same time, they stick to a very strong form of racism in their game. I'm talking about the racial segregation of playable races between factions. It's not just ethically questionable, it's also terrible for the player experience. Players are forced to choose a faction based on the race they want to be. Veeeeeery progressive... not.

    And finally, let's talk about the lack of fresh content. Dragonflight is like a stale piece of bread that's been left out in the sun for too long. The developers seem to be relying on recycled old systems, rather than coming up with anything new and exciting.

    So, there you have it, folks. I'm not impressed at all and the coming patch will give us more... more recycled stuff. I might change this review with 10.2, if they'll actually add something new and improve bad stuff like their racist foundation, but so far? No thanks, there are better games out there.    … Expand

    Dragonriding with an energy system, when the game has gathering and you're going back and forth between high cliffs and low ground so you're always running out of vigor on a farming route.     Questing experience again, 'campaign' streamlined which is always a poor choice.

    Renown is another poor system they're pushing forward to keep it limping, and it's not account wide like people gave the feedback for. No real catch up mechanics besides "Oh hey you earn a little more while doing all the quests again!" which hey, people don't want to do because the questing is a slog and a chore.

    Basically the removal of World Content as a whole, and what World Content there is, like World Quests have poor rewards and are generally unfun to play through.. So many more 'minigames' instead of I don't know, playing my character? They're LESS compelling than SL WQs which is saying something.

    New Profession system, requiring MONTHS of working on and farming to level up properly, and CRAFTING professions are now basically untenable without others helping you, you have to PAY them to get help btw so Blizzard fosters more community toxicity again while claiming to want to fight it (again). Continued disabling of certain profession things like Transmutes because someone figured out an exploit and Blizz has no Quality Assurance team.

    Customization options still lacking for many races, especially those of furred variety, as well as the utter failure that is the Dracthyr.

    They've really been pushing cash shop transmog and other items since the xpac launched, right after making you shell out a large sum of money for a game on top of monthly fees you have to PAY more to get the 'cool new items'. If they want to do that they're gonna have to make expansions or sub free, sorry.

    Class Balance is an absolute joke in PvE and PvP this time around and in old world content like older cities, players with broken Heart of Azeroth essences have a large advantage as well as tanks that just self-heal to max and take so little damage.

    Talent Trees TRIED to return to Vanilla style and failed, taking base things from class toolkits and making them talents to make them 'feel better' but failing. I DO NOT want to have to 're-earn' something I already had before.

    Blizzard also doesn't equally enforce their rules in game or on the forums, and in fact rarely actions anything at all. Low amounts of reports mean nothing, meaning Blizzard doesn't value their reports and doesn't care.    … Expand

    I don't understand how WoW gets WORSE with each expansion, but here's a few of my gripes;
    1) "Smushed levels" ...expansions increased level cap to 120, until shadowlands, when the levels got 'smushed' and set most folks back WEEKS, if not MONTHS of grinding. New level cap is 70... for now.
    2) ZERO ability to follow the storyline from main game to 1st expansion to current; game bounces    I don't understand how WoW gets WORSE with each expansion, but here's a few of my gripes;

    But, at least for me, the game play loop is really tedious... The dungeons in M+, for me, feel terrible. The new way of achievming KSM is kinda bad too.     And now the best part... They introduced a "battle pass"... Now you can always have that delicious FOMO we all know and love...

    Blizzard is dead and gone, no reason to keep playing their stuff... I'll probably try the next expansion, but yeah... We have better options right now    … Expand

    Only change in the game is much more LGBT content. Majority of quests is gay/trans stories. I mean...OK, but I am not a far right guy, I dont need to be teached about diversity for 40$ + month subscription.
    It can be free update or free patch if you do care so much about it.

    -wPvP and PvP are back: rewards for both fighting the opposite faction out in the world, and in instances on ladder. Solo queue has finally been implemented, but...

    Cons:
    -War in Warcraft has been diluted: actual fans of the IP for the long term understand Horde vs Alliance. Working together with the opposite faction as a fan of the original game this much just feels awful. Peace time exists, but the game feels diluted and lost it's soul.
    -Solo Shuffle: solo queue arenas have massive problems with wait times, lack of incentives for healers and MMR issues for them, and people leaving will ensure you've just wasted over a half hour of your time with no CR gains or losses.
    -Dracthyr: an MMORPG race that can't even wear armour in it's main form? All the development time was put into a visage form with customization that could have easily gone to other races, which also still feel horribly outdated.
    -Faction Imbalance: the Alliance still lacks any interesting new races, and has human male models that look like gorillas. Playing one faction shouldn't feel like you're getting scraps, but if you're a Horde main who doesn't care that you're working with Alliance peacefully in a war game, you'll likely feel fine.

    While the game continues to evolve to modern standards, it is still massively behind, and with a focal part of the game's identity - Horde vs Alliance - being put to the side, hopefully temporarily, other games in the genre like XIV, Guild Wars 2, or even Star Wars offers more features, and embraces their identities in full.

    Worth playing if you enjoy the end game cycle, but if you're a long time Warcraft fan or enjoy the old stories, this doesn't feel like Warcraft.    … Expand

    Furthermore, Blizzard has an extreme bias towards some classes like Demon Hunters who right now are untouchable and do 3x as much damage as the 2nd closest class. It's like you have 2 DPS classes in 1 with an insane amount of control/CC/stuns. The top 100 Solo Shuffle board has 40+ demon hunters.

    Blizzard also hit the game with a series of nerfs that completely destroyed some classes before the season even went live based on some world PvP and buffed others until they become completely dominant like Shadow Priests.

    Unfortunately, the PvP side of DF so far has been a disaster and whoever is in charge of it at Blizzard needs to do a much better job and adjusting class damage numbers and the amount of CC in the game has become obnoxious. Their solution is Dampening and bandage solutions that don't actually address the game's fundamental problems.

    There is also a massive issue with PvP and PvE boosting where people spend gold to get their ratings boosted or to get carried through a raid, they do so by buying gold through Blizzard's services and Blizzard turns a blind eye to this because they make a profit from it. It is however undermining the value of these activities and making legitimate players frustrated.

    Blizzard also screwed up the race to world first by making changes to the last boss while only 1 guild was raiding.

    DF has a ton of UI bugs as well as game bugs and Dragonriding is a fun mechanic but feels very clunky and can cause you to DC and have your characters bugged across all realms if you DC while strafing.

    Blizzard has also started designing fight encounters on the basis that everyone is running Add-ons which overly complicates the fights. Mythic raids are also unattainable for the majority of WoW players as it requires 20 people from the same realm and Blizzard has continuously focused on putting the majority of the best rewards and gear and cosmetics in Mythic raids.    … Expand

    Extra + they make you think they have great rework of the Profession well turns out you need object to craft that is given to you every two week 1 by 1, then you also have this wonderful "Artisan's Mettle" which drop only when you 1st time craft something of when you get specialisation point or other rare occasion well you can't get enough of this to craft plenty of high end item

    this make you very slow get the 400 required to end with all spe....

    Now we have the dungeon all difficulty is crap only mythic is challenging so no real fun to do normal heroic or mythic m0

    Huge imbalance of the classes and specs. The most gamebreaking bugs in a wow game since 2004 release. Clueless developers that seem out of touch and desperate. Sleazy stealth changes to things that continue to disrespect players and their time.

    It is a game full of annoyances and frustration due to underqualified staff and clueless management.

    The dragon flying is a chore at best, and the terrible design of the landscape means you need to occasionally try to fly places in order to get there at all. As others have stated, the concept was copied from Guild Wars 2, but somehow made less fun.
    The storyline is completely boring, and I cannot find it in me to care about any of it.
    You may ask why I bought it? Because I had heard it was better than Shadowlands, and because the critic reviews didn't seem too bad. They were wrong, it's awful.
    You may ask why I still subscribe? Because I enjoy World of Warcraft Classic, which is the only reason to continue to subscribe to the game at all. I can still enjoy VERY old content. World of Warcraft hasn't actually been a good game in years. Such a pity.    … Expand

They couldn't even be bothered to update Stormwind and Orgrimmar. Especially Stormwind looks hideous with it's dated graphics. The bugs in this expansion are enough to    Dragonflight...     Then the outdated graphics in most zones of the world. They couldn't even be bothered to update Stormwind and Orgrimmar. Especially Stormwind looks hideous with it's dated graphics.

    The bugs in this expansion are enough to make any player want to quit.
    Then the glaring class imbalances.
    And what's with the racial segregation? We should be able to play any race in any faction without feeling like we're betraying some archaic and racist mindset, which the devs put in this game. But no, all races still have a hivemind instead of free will like the Pandaren and that weird looking new race Dracthyr.
    It's frustrating for players who can't play their favorite races in their favorite faction.

    Then the story... It's poorly written and lacks any real depth.

    Dragonflight is a disappointing expansion for me that fails to deliver on almost every level.
    From the poorly aged character models to the outdated graphics and bugs, it's clear that this expansion was not given the attention it deserved.

    Больше казуального опционального контента. Нет Торгаста, Утробы и других обязательных сайд активностей. Професии интересны и нестандартны, но минусов больше, о них ниже.     Из плохого:
    Чтобы сделать гир профессий полезным они понерфили лут ключей и растянули его до 20 ключей.
    Для того чтобы заставлять гильдии рекилить ластов рейда они добавили ему мизерный шанс на итем который на 10 илвл выше чем весь лут игры. С учетом что близзы благородно решили не разделять ключи от рейдов, то в добрых традициях второго сезона Shadowlands вы обязаны гриндить рейды если хотите максимального выхлопа в ключах. Все чтобы умирающие престарелые рейды казались живее.

    Шанс лута остался прежним с Shadowlands. То есть вы можете как пройти рейд не получив ни одной вещи, так и фармить гору ключей ничего не получая. Ретрограды должно быть танцуют от удовольствия из-за того, что людям которые действительно играют в игру не дают в нее поиграть.

    Профессии дико затаймгейчены. Отчасти с каждой неделей у новичков увеличивается базовая доступность профессий, за счет квестов список которых расширяется с каждой неделей. Но помимо этого получить знания (очки талантов) можно в основном занимаясь профессией, что сильно ограничено. Дело в том что собрав определенное количество знаний в неделю твой шанс их получения резко стремится к нулю и можно спокойно бросать это и ждать следующей недели.

    В случае ошибки с выбором талантов профессий ты ничего больше не можешь с этим поделать, разве-что создать нового персонажа и перекачать профессию на нем.
    После расширения аукциона на весь регион цены на нем всегда стремительно падают до незначительных и не стоящих времени. Я полагаю это было сделано чтобы осмыслить использование стола заказов. Такой аукцион может и хорош для покупателя, но за отсутствием источников чистого золота вам придется на нем торговать.
    Полеты на драконах неудобны для фарма ресурсов. Во-первых энергия рано или поздно заканчивается. Во-вторых талант который регенерирует энергию за сбор ресурсов работает ТОЛЬКО НА ЗЕМЛЕ, кто это придумал? Это все делает талант на сбор ресурсов с дракона нелепым.

    В итоге это просто очередной затаймгейченный кусок кала. К этому всему ситуация с лутом только ухудшилась. Как по мне подойдет только ретроградам для которых медленней и унылей всегда лучше.    … Expand

    Underwhelming, story was poor, just non stop talking to random people, nothing interesting. Big bad isn't bad, and the talent system is good, but there's so many issues and politics forced on you, I can't enjoy wow anymore.

    The raid content is oke-ish, the profession changes are quite good, the new mythic plus' are not good. Even Shadowlands had better instances than this expansion. The game feels quite boring at the moment.

    Dragonflight is still de facto at the beginning of its life cycle. Still, one can't help feeling that we desperately needed an adventure like this. With all its pros and cons. [Issue#325]

    World of Warcraft: Dragonflight is somehow a breath of fresh air and a celebration of classic design principles in equal measure. The return to more dynamic, old-school talent trees enhances the class fantasy with a seasoning of new abilities across the board. At the same time, the retreat of pressuring, artificial power-gating systems promotes a more healthy gameplay loop. The game is also gorgeous, with a more promising storyline, elevated cinematic delivery mechanics, and deeper core systems which make for one of WoW's best expansions in years.

    I appreciate the new interface (it needs getting used to though) and talent system (those dilemmas!), as well as changes to crafting that raise its importance. I enjoyed dragonriding a lot and found quests to be engaging, but was disappointed by dull dungeons and repetitive endgame content. World of Warcraft: Dragonflight is a pretty safe expansion and I expected a bit more from it, but I do feel it has a huge potential that could be fulfilled in the near future.
