    This is the only game about werewolves, yes - not so well, but about werewolves! I don't know why no one makes games about them. After all, the topic: stupid zombies, and even more stupid vampires, has long been annoying. Hopefully, in the future, someone will make an "AAA Project" about werewolves.

    This game can be better? Yes, BUT, for a first approach, it's a really good job. Graphics are cool but can be better. History and main character are amazing. I hope you make more content. Gaia needs it so I too. Highly recommended for role play fans and newbies on the world of darkness universe.

Могла бы придумать что-то глубже, в целом на один раз поиграть можно. Оценку 10 поставил за новизну идеи с тремя перевоплощениями, уже давненько не встречал нечего подобного. Что-то новенькое. Но им бы бюджет по лучше и сценариста по сильнее. И за главногоИгра бы была просто потрясающая в 2016-2018 году но не в 2021м видно что был очень ограниченый бюджет, и сюжет очень поверхностный. Могла бы придумать что-то глубже, в целом на один раз поиграть можно. Оценку 10 поставил за новизну идеи с тремя перевоплощениями, уже давненько не встречал нечего подобного. Что-то новенькое. Но им бы бюджет по лучше и сценариста по сильнее. И за главного персонажа! Наконец то главный персонаж БЕЛЫЙ КРЕПКИЙ МУЖИК!!!) спасибо разрабам за это! У них ещё остались яйца. И пусть она не тянет на эту оценку из-за своей примитивной графики 10ку я поставил за главного персонажа!     I was not expecting AAA quality from this one, I was expecting a good small rail-story with some good bloodbath, and I got what I was waiting for. Don't look at the game as you look at all those big AAA projects, it is a small game with a good story, an awesome werewolf model, and a fight. Yes, the human models a less good animated, the stealth is not so good as I think it will be (sinceI was not expecting AAA quality from this one, I was expecting a good small rail-story with some good bloodbath, and I got what I was waiting for. Don't look at the game as you look at all those big AAA projects, it is a small game with a good story, an awesome werewolf model, and a fight. Yes, the human models a less good animated, the stealth is not so good as I think it will be (since the game was made by the same company that made Styx), but still, it is just a good story, an adventure and I like it. It has a good story, at least, as I know the lore of WoD werewolves, it was easy to get into it.
    I do hope people will not put these games into the trash, as they could if they will look and judge the game by AAA rules, and they find some good things that I see in these games.    … Expand

    Yes, the game has poor graphics for 2021, but since when does graphics affect game scores? For me, the most important thing is the plot and the gameplay. The gameplay here is gorgeous, the character has three forms, each of them is universal and designed for different purposes, reading reviews    Many players and critics didn't like the game, to put it mildly.

    So i wanted to share my humble opinion/review on werewolf the apocalypse earthblood.
    So i am near to finish. I enjoy it a lot but i have some constructive criticism meaning there is no "Hate" or bias in this review and i will offer what would make things better. (NO SPOILERS)
    Pros: -The world and game's environment, they look beautiful and I love it especially the caern and how you    So i wanted to share my humble opinion/review on werewolf the apocalypse earthblood.
    So i am near to finish. I enjoy it a lot but i have some constructive criticism meaning there is no "Hate" or bias in this review and i will offer what would make things better. (NO SPOILERS)

    Pros:
    -The world and game's environment, they look beautiful and I love it especially the caern and how you interact with tribe members and how these members have their own stories (not explored in-game).

    -The gameplay is fun and fast, I do feel that it is a little bit repetitive but we will get to that later.

    -Lupus form is greatly enjoyable it is one of the best parts of the game.

    -Crinos form is my favorite, fast and brutal just slice and dice lol.

    -variety in combos and Skills.

    -The story is interesting and I loved the characters, cahal is a good protagonist and not generic in any way.

    -Rage system is straight up great and it just not influence the gameplay, it influences the story and how you interact with people. (Like there are people who can trigger your rage bars one by one until you fill it and makes you transform only to kill everyone in the room, so beware).

    -Transitions between forms is smooth and satisfying.

    -performance is great, sure thing there is a few bugs here and there but nothing critical.

    -It respected the lore of White wolf's werewolf the apocalypse.

    Cons:
    -The Texture and animation are outdated (Which i understand because of small developers team).

    -The RPG system is just bad from getting Skill points to upgrading skills. The thing is you don't get EXP points after every battle based on your battle performance like D is the worst and Z is the best so you get more exp point from Z. And it feels that it is just partially RPG. (This can be solved by removing the RPG system at all like you just unlock new skills and moves after just completing stages. Or enhancing the RPG system where you actually get EXP points based on your battle score.)

    -The lack of variety in enemies and bosses. It just feels that enemies are all the same, the humans doesn't have varieties in weapons, the "Prototype people" are all similar and some bosses are repetitive like the werewolf bosses. (This can be solved by adding varieties to human enemies like flamethrowers, swords bearers (Ninjas) and other interesting weapons that could extend to extremely technological or even magical).

    -The lack of combat impact, this one doesn't bother me much until i die from it. When you hit an enemy he/she should supposedly go flying, flinching or even moving. However in this game they have no reaction, they will continue their attack, hence your attacks will only reduce their health without any impact. Which means their attacks cannot be interrupted which is a major problem in combat if there are a lot of enemies they will for sure kill you if you don't dodge. (This can be solved by actually making the enemies impacted by your hits).

    -Needed to explore more into the lore even though that one of the strongest point of the game is respecting the lore.

    -AI is inconsistent, sometimes it feels that they are smart and other times extremely stupid. Especially in stealth.

    -And finally the stealth. It is just too outdated, needs a lot of improvements and added gadgets would be nice too.

    Side notes: Some reviewers said that the stages looks similar, i have to disagree, stages looks different, however, objects model are indeed copied and put throughout the stages. It just feels that every compute and table are the same.
    It would have been nice to have a greater number of bosses with variety. Cause 7 bosses on a 12 hours playtime is not enough. Needed like 1 boss per stage.

    Conclusion:
    Werewolf the apocalypse earthblood is a good enjoyable game. The gameplay is fun and the story is interesting. Sure thing the textures and animation are outdated but it is playable. It greatly respected the lore but it would leave some fans hungry for more. It can get repetitive sometimes and lacked varieties in enemies but overall you will have fun playing it.

    This game has some cons, but in general I liked it! I'm writing this review only because this game has met so much hate, and I don't think that it's fair. It's a simple railroad story, with no lootboxes or open world time/money sucking **** it works nice, I've met only several bugs, but mostly because I was intentionally    I'm a WtA tabletop fan, so my review may be not 100% objective.

    Graphics is not that bad as many people describe, I would say that everything except of people in dialogs looks great - nature, interiors, enemies, effects, etc. Graphics in this game is "stylish", it's not meant to be very realistic, I believe.

    Combat is challenging on hard level of difficulty, I would not recommend to play this game on easy or medium.

    My only complain is about game "age rating". This game lacks some gore, even "executions" look like PC is tickling enemies. Hope that there will be mod or something to fix this.    … Expand

    A solid game. The combat is satisfying and gruesome. Werewolf form is very well animated. You feel like a badass while using it. Stealth sections provide some variety when it comes to gameplay.     I play it on pc on max settings with rock solid 75fps (i5 9400f, GTX 1070 and 16GB 2666mhz RAM) and it looks better than on yt trailers at 1080p.

    It's an alright game. People going into this expecting a triple A experience will be disappointed. Any fans of the tabletop will love it, though if you don't care about that it's still alright. besides theres not much games with werewolf

    If you're looking for story, this is not the game as the story feels like it was the last thing they worked while developing the game. Not sure why everyone talks about the graphics, they're perfectly fine and in no way made any impact on the game quality or my enjoyment. Stealth was a bit wonky with some things like enemy vision sight and the bark mechanic but it's still fun and challenging to a certain extent. Looking at how large the studio who developed the game is, and this game's development history of being passed from one studio to a completely different one this game came out pretty great. It may not be some revolutionary new game but at least it's different from all the other stuff we've been getting and I certainly have a lot of fun playing it. If you're looking for some massive overall game with tons of RPG elements like Skyrim this is not the game for you. If you like running around tearing apart tons of enemies as a werewolf, this game is very fun.… Expand

Dando uma zoiada no catálogo da plus , me deparei com o tal odiado : Werewolf : the apocalypse - earthblood. Fui ver opniao dos YouTubers. Vir eles xigando bastante uma desenvolvera pequena , que faz jogos não tão grande. Baixei e meus amigos que jogo bom. Ainda mais para quem quer ter aquela nostalgia de Altered beast (Mega e Ps2).
    O jogo não tem lá aqueles gráficos , bem de início de geração. Tem uma história curta , porém bem fácil de entender e se diverti.
    Dificuldade razoável para cada nível escolhido.(recomendo joga no difícil para ter aquela adrenalina boa e uma diversão maior).
    A Boss Figth é maravisolha.
    Gameplay boa , tanto no furtivo , como no aloprado.
    Design dos lobisomens muito bonito
    Uma platina facil.
    E Um sistema de RPG fácil de fazer.
    A desenvolvedora pós um sistema de diálogo lento e sem muita animações , só para que as pessoas que não sabe inglês poderem ler e entender a história , muito bom.
    Fiquei com pé atrás para ouvir opiniões de YouTubers.

    Vale á pena baixar e joga Werewolf the apocalypse - earthblood , 9/10

    This is a cool werewolf game that's faithful to the World of Darkness lore. The gameplay is basic but fun, and the combat is decently challenging on hard mode, where you gain advantages by switching combat styles frequently. If you want to just play a fun werewolf game where you mindlessly slash things, then skip all dialogues and you'll still have some fun. If you want, the game lets youThis is a cool werewolf game that's faithful to the World of Darkness lore. The gameplay is basic but fun, and the combat is decently challenging on hard mode, where you gain advantages by switching combat styles frequently. If you want to just play a fun werewolf game where you mindlessly slash things, then skip all dialogues and you'll still have some fun. If you want, the game lets you go into WW mode and slaughter everyone instead of negotiating with NPCs, which is a great feature that not many games offer. Your choices can also affect some later dialogue options in the story. If you really want to get into the lore and enjoy the game even more, I recommend watching a couple Werewolf: Apocalypse lore videos before/during your play through. If you don't have the extra twenty minutes to do that, then you don't really have the time to write a review either lol.

    Many of the negative reviews focus heavily on graphical imperfections, which is a fair but a cheap criticism for a game developed on a lower budget than AAA. We've all played beautiful games from AAA devs that were still horrible lol. In my opinion, the graphics were good enough to not take me out of the adventure. Most reviewers who hated the storyline were probably unfamiliar with the series, so they defaulted to boredom or anger when the NPCs talked about the world lol. Like in many games, there are many short texts you can pick up to get a better understanding of the situation and side-quests that reveal some broader context. My guess is that most people with bad experiences did not fully explore the world with an open mind.

    Overall I enjoyed the game and I hope they take this concept and develop it further. They've got a lot of lore to work with and a potentially very deep fanbase if they can tap into it!    … Expand

    Ridiculous story, shallow gameplay and poor graphics don’t leave Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood any chance. The only imaginable reason to play it – is to remind yourself how bad and absurd games could get. [Issue#252, p.70]

    Cyanide Studios once again manage not to raise the bar. This is a deeply average game reminiscent of cheap B-movies, visually awful and mechanically obsolete. But massacring your enemies as a bloodthirsty werewolf is, not surprisingly, quite fun.
