    AMD card working fine for me; visually fine, great hacking and combat play, only marks down are for the slightly lightweight (emphasis: only slightly lightweight) plot and troublesome driving mechanics on keyboard/mouse.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. To be fair, this game is not as good as GTA V, but it is still a very decent game. No many games are playable if you always compare them to the greatest games. I really hope this game will grow in the future and offer more to things do in-game.

    Pros
    Some unique city interactions, providing different kind of chasing/ escape gameplay.
    Great stealth game-play compare to most open-world games.
    Beautiful world. I know its not great, but beautiful still.

    Very bad PC version. I have a decent PC and I still need to run it on medium settings. Hope this will be fixed
    Rather boring characters.
    Short story.
    Side quests are boring. ( I had high hope for the serial killer, but in the end its just another crime prevention.)    … Expand

    Graphically fantastic once modded, overall story okay but game gets rapidly repetitive and unsatisfying. Earn lots of money but not much to spend it on - outfits all look largely the same, weapons can't be upgraded and much of the time spend with grenade launcher and silenced handgun. Devs could learn a lot from games like Skyrim that have more configurable gameplay.

    With a story that is just laughably (not in a good way), driving physics which make it seem like Chicago is covered in thick layers of oil, hacking tools that simply boil down to 'push x to awesome', and all the other baggage that comes with it being an Ubisoft game, this game is simply not very inspired, and at times, incredibly dull. While the hacking is simple, it can be fun at times,With a story that is just laughably (not in a good way), driving physics which make it seem like Chicago is covered in thick layers of oil, hacking tools that simply boil down to 'push x to awesome', and all the other baggage that comes with it being an Ubisoft game, this game is simply not very inspired, and at times, incredibly dull. While the hacking is simple, it can be fun at times, and there is some enjoyment in using hacking effectively to get away from cops, or catch people you are chasing. And doing all the Watchtowers just using the cameras was a fun puzzle to solve.
    But the game falls so far short in many other places that it just isn't that great taken as a whole.

    Buy in the bargain bin, and you'll feel much better about it. .    … Expand

    Watch Dogs is an entertaining ride for a while, but its open world concept is misplaced. Yes, you can go anywhere in Watch Dogs' Chicago, but if its not servicing the story, then there's not much to do. You can hack people, listen in on random conversations, stop thugs and petty bad guys, play lame barely fleshed out mini games and go on digital trips. This last part is the most engaging part of all the "randomness" of Watch Dogs, most specifically the Spider Tank is really fun and weirdly satisfying.

    Watch Dogs graphics are overall very good, but its not what was advertised. Even if you dont care all that much about graphics, you should feel strongly about fake advertising, and this is where its at.

    Even the highly publicized fact sheet you get from citizens, as much as it is amusing for the most part, has zero to do with the plot and its randomization is inexplicable for the most part (it seems that, according to Watch Dogs, most people in Chicago have a weird sex thing going on).

    The driving is forgettable at best, even Mafia 2 had better driving than this.

    For Ubisoft's Watch Dogs it was all about the flare, the particles, the wind blowing and lights exploding (although the best is saved for the rupturing of underground pipes, that's an amazing effect for a skill you pick up a bit into the game). Not a lot of the budget went into the story itself, or the gameplay for that matter.

    Should you play Watch Dogs? Yeah, why not.

    Will you love it? Maybe, if you're just getting into gaming... but being let down is more likely, especially if you've been following this release since E3 2012, thinking it would be the be all end all of open world games.

    I need to write - I do not complete this game - but its not so bad like most of users are saying. If you will not compare it to GTA5 you will be find and maybe you will fins a little fun playing this sandbox

    A **** game with same **** graphics the trailer was deaf to peace and final release different :S doesn't even utilize or also not optimized for SLi properly even for high end cards like 780ti. One time play.

It turns out this game was restricted by the very thing that apparently made it fresh Hacking - while being able to hack into things is a cool concept, other than pressing a button at the right time, it in no way felt like a hack from a players 'gaming' perspective. (The game attempts to deal with this by giving what I think are supposed to be puzzles to break into networks, but are to easy to be granted that title.)

    Hacking then directs the story. The story is what really lets this game down. A single Uncle putting his sister and her kid in danger, whilst in the process of trying to avenge the death of the other kid . It''s the dumbest story for a video game I have ever seen. To the point I stopped caring about why I was killing people and breaking into places.

    What's worst is the games only difficulty is avoiding the police. That's it. And this doesn't matter what setting you are on. You use hacks to get away from them. This can be very difficult later in the game and may ruin the enjoyment for some.

    I feel if the development team during the making process consulted players and asked for feedback during; they could have or would have made a very decent game.

    Instead. If Sleeping Dogs was about Kung Fu to rip off Grand Theft Auto, then you have to think Watch Dogs was about Hacking to do the same. You cannot try and innovate by coping another working model and editing it. People will see right through this.

    I think that's what is going on with all these mixed reviews. The "bugs" and low scores are just peoples way of venting frustration. I didn't have any bugs during the process of playing this game. The overtly high scores are I think other peoples way of combating the stupid low scores people are giving. This game is a solid 7.

    Buy this game once its reduced in price. It was and is not worth the full RRP. Play it for the gaming experience that it is. It is not a horrible game and does not deserve the score of 4.6 by users.

    Ubisoft should learn from this failure. Invest in better programmers, artists, story writers. They need to connect more with the people they make games for. Otherwise they risk repeating the same mistakes with future titles. Failure is hard on anyone, Especially a large company, but you come from a position of strength by admitting you didn't get it right.    … Expand

    Game is perfect. 10/10 It's not 11/10 like games I've played (Assassin's Creed for example), but people hate CARS, cars in Watch Dogs are good, if you know how to use FOCUS skill (CTRL after it's unlocked), they think Watch Dogs has something with Sleeping Dogs because of name, WHAT?! Or with GTA because this game has (functional, unlike gta) open world! Are you that dumb?     It wasn't as fun as I thought. Not nearly. The police attack you even if you didn't do anything, and the cars suck. Also there isn't much to hack early on in the game, and it's so hard, so it gets boring.

    Watch Dogs does a lot right and has a few game-play mechanics that may seem original but, fall short of their potential. The sneak system is just like Farcry 3's and shares a lot of the same environment style elements of assassins creed, mix that with extremely repetitive missions and you have Watch Dogs. This game has a lot of potential but, it just isn't there yet.

    The game is good for the first chapter, but starting from chapter 2 onward i feel the games attractiveness has degradated greatly, lack creativity in mission. However the graphic is ok

    Great Game, It's not quite GTA Level but For a first try Ubisoft have certainly succeeded in making a wonderful, fun and entertaining game. Sure the hacking is simple but if you were expecting a hacking simulator than your expectations were totally unrealistic. The menus can be annoying to navigate but are good enough to do simple things. Overall this game is a very nice 1st attempt at aGreat Game, It's not quite GTA Level but For a first try Ubisoft have certainly succeeded in making a wonderful, fun and entertaining game.     It didn't live up to all the hype but its not a bad game. The one thing I could never get past was the driving. The vehicles are squirrelly and there is no getting around it. It isn't bad with a controller but I don't like playing with one like a console, getting used to it and then switching back and forth for shooting. I can't play shooting games with a controller.     Driving a car is pretty **** After I upgraded my graphics card it was a bit better but still ****.

    So if you have set up your details too high then you'll probably have a car which will steer very crazy.

    Apart from the small main story with just some missions (compare GTA's more than 100 missions, here about 50 or less I don't know exactly) and the opportunity which isn't existing. There are some online missions which you can play with friends but, well, there is nothing for single players.

    All in all it's okay, graphics amazing, it's worth a try. Weapons are cool, story okay but not more. But it's not worth 70€ for digital deluxe edition and not 60€ for the standard edition.    … Expand

    This game seems to have a interesting concept, I gave it a good go, but overall Iam finding the game boring and mediocre. Iam not enjoying it and would rather play something I would enjoy.

    The game's great, maybe the story line wasn't as interesting as in other similar titles but the game play was spot on and very enjoyable for many hours. Oh, and a small tip to people that say there's nothing to do in the city CHECK THE MAP.

    Ubi's marketing team hit a grand slam with this release. They tantalized us with impossibly-awesome trailers, then delayed the game for a year. The promises of graphics, depth, and the innovative idea of a free roam game with the ability to hack everything left the consumers drooling at the potential of limitless possibilities. After a year of waiting that left gamers tossing in their beds and squirming in their chairs, Ubi releases.....this.....this gimmicky, average, unfinished, simulacrum of what we expected.

    Well played, Ubi.

    Per EVERY F**ING VIDEO GAME AND MOVIE PLOT -EVER-....the point is our hero's (?) loved one is killed/captured, and now you're on a murderous rampage of vengence/rescue. Yaaaaawn. It's hard to pull for the hero when the game opens with him committing digital grand theft.

    While the voice acting is on par, the characters are so goddamn BORING. Tyrone "Bed Bug" and Jordi were likable, but get crowded out by the interchangeable good-ol-American, brown haired, white skinned, raspy-voiced, single minded vigilante.

    And just what did we get after all the hype and potential of being a hacker? A ranged, context-sensitive action button. Really. Instead of walking up to a door and pushing "open", I push "hack" from a distance. Ground breaking sh** we got goin here. Nothing you can hack is remarkable either. You can hack a few things to stop traffic, make explosions, or set off frags your enemies hold.

    Even if you DO make good hacks, the A.I. is the most un f**ing fun A.I. design I've ever seen. The police A.I. in particular is.....WTF UBI?? They are super over powered, almost impossible to shake off, and any random thing can "sick" them on you. Example: You're sitting on a bench, a bad guy walks by you, goes OMG PLAYER CHARACTER, then runs away shooting at you. The police show up, triangulate your exact location, then spray rifle fire at you, then call in back up so your screen is swarming with them. Example 2: You get a mission to stealth into a enemy-ridden area, you can't get caught/sound an alarm, OR kill the target. They must be MELEE KO'd, right? So you try to use that hack (you know, the whole f**ing selling point of the game) and you hack a guy's grenade, he throws it at the target, kills him, and you fail the mission. Example 3: if the police are p**ing you off, just run to a boat, drive away, and you'll fully lose aggro. If you're the hacker good-guy, why can't you use some strats to bring the police and direct them at the bad guys? So, so, so much wasted potential.

    And the driving.....JESUS HAVE MERCY, THIS DRIVING ABSOLUTELY SUCKS!! It's hard enough to control, but as you gain speed, your frames go down, so you're controlling a slippery dump truck with flip-book visuals. This game is a mess!

    What little it does get right is nothing you haven't seen a billion million gazillion times before. It seems that -tragically- all video games can offer us is more shooters with a gimmick here or there and slightly better/worse controls and/or optimization. WD baaarely stands above average with its hack gimmick and a few exciting moments.

    Perhaps most unforgivable of all is missions that have exciting build up or some remote form of tension have the most generic, unsatisfying endings. Par for the usual open-world tropes, you climb a tower, follow the dot on your map, kill everyone, then run from the police until a floating text goes "GJ! YOU DID THE SAME MISSION...BUT OVER THERE THIS TIME!" While that could be passable for most side missions, more dramatic missions like breaking up a human trafficking ring should have been faaaaar more satisfying than "GJ! YOU DID A DIFFERENT MISSION!" I couldn't even get a 15s cutscene of the police cracking it wide open and escorting the girls to their families or something? ANYTHING??

    The other one I can't forgive is when you bust the badass hacker Dfault (spelling). He's built up in the dialogue to be some mysterious, world-class hacker, enough to give Aiden a rival. He out hacks your team, and you have to go chase him personally. He hacks around you, plays weird mind games, I admit, it was exciting, but it ended like every other mission: hold W+Shift, and smash M2 until you catch him.......aaand end of mission. WTF?!?! WHO IS DFAULT? WHY DID HE HACK YOU? WHO IS HE WORKING FOR? HOW DID HE FIND THE HEROS?? This is like if Star Wars 4 5 and 6 ended with someone nonchalantly shooting Darth Vadar with a laser gun and CREDITS.

    If you can find it for 20ish bucks, you can run thru it, and never play it again. It has its moments and the combat CAN be satisfying, but after what Ubi did to us here and the trend of it (google e3 graphics vs real game graphics) this s** needs to stop. With all the ppl swearing off Ubi and their investors jumping the shark, how are they still getting so much money....?

The driving controls are so horrifically done that driving is a lost cause, where it's impossible to avoid most collisions if you're going any faster than 10-20 MPH. God forbid you attract police attention, considering the AI rubberbands so hard that unless you get 3-4 hackable lights or blockers in a row, losing them is impossible. Even when you do,The camera is absolutely terrible.     I don't want write 1000's words about how this game sucks, all already know it (If you are not a filthy "Pro MLG Critic" of course...)
    Just remember one rule - never buy games from Ubish1t again. This is the most greedy and sh1tty company I ever seen in whole Game Indusrty.

Дождавшись заветной даты релиза, я весь день играл в эту игру в предвкушении большего. Оно вот-вот должно было случиться. Игра не оправдывала ожиданий. Окончательно понял я это после десяти часов игры. Кошмарная оптимизация, детали проработаны на отвали, кошмарное управление автомобилями. Графика по тем временам выглядела вполне достойно, но серость всё же давала о себе знать. Единственный плюс в этой игре - интересная история и сюжет, вот только процесс прохождения уныл и однообразен. Практически все миссии - это лазь по камерам/взломай/иди куда-то по стелсу. Именно поэтому прохождение далось очень тяжко, чем дальше, тем больше тошнило от этих миссий. Впечатлило также взаимодействие с миром на примере светофоров, подрыва канализаций и прочего. Но эффектные аварии тоже очень быстро надоели. Ну хоть вторая часть стала лучше.    … Expand

WATCH_DOGS' story is a generic, cliched tale of revenge. That's it. It's so boring and uninvolving that you just daydream through it. I think what sucked me out of the story the most is when IWATCH_DOGS is an incredibly disappointing and overhyped game. Generally speaking, the graphics look like **** The game looks good at night time, in the rain, but that's about it. The open world is dead and empty. There are around five pedestrian models, and the pedestrians have no human personality to them. They just walk around, drive around, and sit. The pedestrians on trains and at train stations never get on or off. You can go to a bus stop and see them waiting for buses, even though there are none in the game. The side missions are quite fun, but the main campaign missions are just awful.
    So, all things considered, WATCH_DOGS is a huge letdown, which is not worth playing.    … Expand

I would say it is playable and it may have much potential but I´m not rating potential in a fully released game.It could be worse but there is nothing in it where I say that this game does it better than any other game of this genre.     Весьма остроумно со стороны Убисофта было и предложить взлом в виде Press X to Win, предел игровой механики современности и аплодисменты обеспечены. Не жалуюсь на оптимизацию, хотя знаю не все запустили на    то фееричный маркетинговый монстрик от Убейсофт.

    Я вынимал планки и тихо удивлялся, 8 Гб установлено - забиты 8 Гб, 16 Гб - прогружают и их. Смех один.
    Что касается самой игры, едва сюжет раскачался, ты прочувствовал повествование - история заканчивается.
    Шикарно.

В Джаст коз у тебя нет унылого дерьма, ты можешь развлекаться как хочешь, никто тебя не тормозит и унынием не душит. Saints Row - то же самое, бесконечно веселее и интереснее, чем вотч догс. У юбисофт есть 2 игры интересные - Сидж и Реймен Леджендс. Все остальное - дерьмо блевотное. Надеюсь эти идиоты обанкротятся и закроются. Хуже говноделов в индустрии нет.… Expand

    Story: you play as edge lord supreme aiden pierce whos good at killing people some how and has batman like success. but because he is bad at hiding his identity his family gets in trouble and even killed so hes angry. unfortunately the story makes little sense rather than making it a straight revenge tale it mixes that with a conspiracy and although this definitively made the world itself more interesting the main story suffers hard because of it because of a lack of focus. characters are dull as hell with the exception of 1 or 2 but adrian is not an interesting character.

    Worldbuilding: I am a sucker for a good world and the best thing to come out of watch dogs is definitively its criminal underworld of fixers cleaners and hackers . some even get famous and a militaristic type organization runs the city and is the nightmares of any conspiracy theorist. its a wonderfully violent world that has a multitude of potential. the foundation laid in this first game is really good but its definitively under utilized. hope for when i play the sequel though.
    Worldbuilding: 8/10

    Graphics: the graphics were not as good as the trailers and thats what most people hated about this game , hell the graphics are not even that great. launch was even worst some how , witch i was only able to read about cause i picked this game up 4 years later. they are good enough that the games playable and i guess thats all it needs to be now. to much bloom. character models are hit and miss , animations are decent at best , clunky at worst.

    Gameplay: gameplay had a lot of potential with the hacking mechanic and i do think a lot of it was well done even if some opportunity were missed, hacking the street lights and blockers was fun , and car physics was good enough that car chases were a lot of fun. unless it was the cops , the cops were way to hard to escape from. not impossible but difficult. gun play could have been better but it was fun enough that combat encounters were fun and combat had some strategy to it. most locations seem to have 1 or 2 paths , the sneaky path or the straight up guns blazing path and many don't deviate from that , story missions seem, to have 1 path only sometimes would have liked to see a better variety. there is a VERY GOOD variety of guns , and i think in modern games this should be a standard. each gun behaves differently even if its slightly and subtle. the guns aren't perfect but the variety makes up for a lot of the weapons short comings. i think the best animations in this game are the executions witch to that i say SUCH sakuga( google it) . this games really not well optimized for PC , mine stuttered a lot and froze multiple times. game play was a doozey and thats because there was alot too it

    Sound design: acting was cheesy and too serious. i think its upcoming installment watchdogs legions has the tone set perfectly having a player character die but then also be an old British lady who takes the bus to go commit "terrorist" activity's. thats the tone i wanna see a game thats not afraid to laugh at it self and its self seriousness this game has is pretty annoying. the music chose was really good , i liked how you can chose your music from your playlist not just a radio like in gta , it makes a little more sense in the more modern setting and the music chosen is so varied that it kinda makes me relate to aiden a little bit , it reminded me alot of my own playlist for my car, and i even added some songs from this game to it cause i liked the music.

    Most of the vehicles aren't really fun and don't handle that well.

    Most of the music is pretty bad, so I turned it off.

    I craft items and they disappear. Missions disappear even though it appears that the game still registers me as in a mission.

    Missions bug out. The first forced Online Contracts. I completed everything, now it wants me to access the Online Contracts App but it says it's unavailable during missions... After watching a walkthrough it appears that the "Online Contracts App" never actually shows up, and I was thinking what they wanted me to access is the "Fixer contracts".

    The "fix" I figured out was to click "monitoring network" instead, which opens the "online contracts" menu/map, which you can get stuck in. And the fix for getting stuck in that is to click every single option on the map, and one of them should eventually work. For me, "online hacking" was the one that worked. Then "request hacking target". Then I went into the game menu options -> online -> online invasions OFF.

    Fills up your screen with information to read while you're getting shot. And then after you dismiss it so you can not get killed it's difficult/impossible to find. An easy fix would be if the game paused during those pop up messages, like pretty much every other game does.

    The mouse accel makes the combat really frustrating, especially when there are lots of enemies. It even makes the map frustrating to use.

    Lots of annoying and buggy things, such as completing an area and then enemies respawn right away. Or completing one section of a mission and then enemies spawn right on top of you and kill you immediately, resulting in you having to do everything again, including the unenjoyable hacking mechanism. Plus you have to go through unskippable cut scenes over and over. Missions frequently bug out and make you lose everything you earned during the mission. Because the only way to get out of a mission is to erase everything since the beginning of it. Crazy.

    Sometimes you can't use the same key that you used to open a menu to close it. Can't scroll out far enough on the map. You have helicopters chasing you and you have to do actions on them or attack them, but it locks your camera so you can't even look at the helicopter. There's no mechanism for getting out of boats normally/easily. The upgrades are super "meh".

    This is the kind of game where you're thankful when it's over.    … Expand

Pese a todos sus altibajos con el pasar del tiempo se fueron actualizando algunos de los errores hechos en su salida, pero la plataforma en la que surgirían mayor efecto seria la PC ya que las actualizaciones en su mayoría era para Uplay PC. It's a shame that this game does not present a cohesive story and the main character is so dull as it could have been an important entry in the world of Internet dangers that are developing faster and faster. The open-world is ok, the driving sucks, FYI I play hardcore sim racing and arcade racing games, you only meet the villain of the story 3 times, and the third time you kill him, also he is just evil for the sake of being evil no actual motivation. most of the fun in this game is during spider tank ( a side mission ) and gang hideouts (also side missions). no one should play this if you have the option to play watch dogs 2, it is way better in every way imaginable with better hacking, better open world and no false graphics tease.… Expand

    Generalne odczucia z gry mam bardzo pozytywne. Główna mechanika hakowania - praktycznie wszystkiego, jest wielkim urozmaiceniem podczas rozgrywki. Możliwość infiltracji, rozpraszania przeciwników czy likwidowania celów za pomocą tej mechaniki daje dużo frajdy. Misje poboczne są wspaniałym sposobem na pogłębienie immersji i wczucie się w opowiadaną historię. Jeśli ktoś lubi uzupełniaćGeneralne odczucia z gry mam bardzo pozytywne. Główna mechanika hakowania - praktycznie wszystkiego, jest wielkim urozmaiceniem podczas rozgrywki. Możliwość infiltracji, rozpraszania przeciwników czy likwidowania celów za pomocą tej mechaniki daje dużo frajdy. Misje poboczne są wspaniałym sposobem na pogłębienie immersji i wczucie się w opowiadaną historię. Jeśli ktoś lubi uzupełniać rozgrywkę o zadania poboczne, na pewno będzie zadowolony tak jak ja. Oczywiście, jeśli ktoś nie jest nastawiony na maxowanie gry, to najpewniej po kilku misjach mu się znudzą, gdyż są powtarzalne i często monotonne. Jednak ja zawszę znajdowałem w tym wszystkim dla siebie jakieś urozmaicenie. I tak, aby zrobić grę na 100% trzeba się oddać pewnym nudnym i nic nie wnoszącym zadaniom, ale reasumując, da się to przeżyć. Sam wątek główny jest ciekawy, może nie jakoś bardzo pociągający ale poprawny. W kilku sekwencjach naprawdę się wciągnąłem, ale na ogół po prostu z przyjemnością bez większego podekscytowania szedłem dalej, bez większego zżycia z bohaterami. Jeśli chodzi o aspekt mechanik takich jak jazda pojazdami, strzelanie czy poruszanie się to jest po prostu poprawnie. Postać czasami zachowuje się "drewnianie" - przykleja się do osłon i nie che się od nich oderwać, spada z krawędzi, i wspina się pozbawiona dynamiki. Model jazdy, nie jest zbyt innowacyjny i rozbudowany, ale potrafi sprawić przyjemność. Feeling strzelania wypada naprawdę okej. Nie ma w nim większych rzeczy do których mógłbym się przyczepić. Dużym ułatwieniem jest drzewko rozwoju postaci, którego rozwój jest konieczny do uwolnienia faktycznego potencjału gry i jej mechanik. Największym minusem jest tryb on-line. W jego skład wchodzi kilka różnych "trybów" ale żadny mnie nie wciągnął, a przeszedłem przez nie tylko aby dostać osiągnięcie. Jedynie wróciłem kilka razy do hakowania on-line - ten tryb wypada najlepiej spośród wszystkich dostępnych w grze. Podsumowując, jest to całkiem dobra gra z otwartym światem, masą zadań pobocznych, ciekawą mechaniką pozwalającą na przejście misji w nietypowy sposób, poprawnymi modelami walki, jazdy i sterowania, bez wymiernie wciągającej fabuły i treści zadań pobocznych. Według mnie najlepiej będą się z tą grą bawić osoby, takie jak Ja :). Takie, które lubią obserwować jak mapa powoli oczyszcza się z miliona wskaźników, zgłębiając przy tym stworzony przez twórców świat. Które potrafią przymrużyć oko na powtarzalność i zwykłą poprawność podstawowych mechanik na rzecz wielogodzinnej zabawy, z umiejętnością urozmaicenia jej sobie, przez nietypowe, kreatywne podejście.     The story in game was really good. Game work well on modern PC. Really annoying was system of hiding behind covers. Once you try to hide and you will either miraculously peel off the cover or you will run from one to the other.

    Давольно интересная игра, с хорошей концепцией и неплохой реализацией, но есть проблемы: С течением времени кажется, что тебе не достаёт хакерских примочек, ты вроде в песочнице, тебе это нравится, а вроде и хочется песочницу побольше, в миссиях с врагами по итогу ты пользуешься пистолетом глушителем, ибо это эффективнее. Зачем пытаться подманить врага куда-то, отвлечь, сделать вид, чтоДавольно интересная игра, с хорошей концепцией и неплохой реализацией, но есть проблемы: С течением времени кажется, что тебе не достаёт хакерских примочек, ты вроде в песочнице, тебе это нравится, а вроде и хочется песочницу побольше, в миссиях с врагами по итогу ты пользуешься пистолетом глушителем, ибо это эффективнее. Зачем пытаться подманить врага куда-то, отвлечь, сделать вид, что его гибель - несчастный случай, если можно за пару секунд избавиться отнего одной пулей? Тем более, что игра только подталкивает к скорейшему устранению врага, давая опыт за это (и она не даёт его больше, если вы убили его хакерским способом) Ещё одна проблема - активности. Их много и не понятно, зачем они нужны. Бабок много, тратить их, можно сказать, и не надо, а опыт можно получить с пары районов и у тебя будет достаточно очков опыта для +- комфортного прохождения. Хотя, отмечу, что эти активности лично мне особо не надоедали, иногда даже приятно их было проходить. Но когда понимаешь, что особо ничего и не получаешь в итоге, желание проходить их как-то улетучивается. Город выполнен хорошо, много знаменитых для Чикаго зданий и мест, которые интересно посещать, Юби даже подталкивают нас это делать, ставя "галочки" с интересной информацией по этому месту. К тому же понравилась фишка с происходящими случайно авариями на улицах, нпс тоже умеют делать ошибки :)))) А уход от полиции здесь, наверное, одно из лучших, что вообще есть в игре (хоть и физика машин дико аркадная и малоприятная) Сюжет в игре... ну он вроде нормальный, а вроде ты уже и забыл что там вообще было, к тому же ты не ощущаешь контроля над героем в сюжетном плане, он всё решает за тебя, да так, что даже не понимаешь, как мы из 1-ого пришли ко 2-ому.     A typical Ubisoft game no more, no less. I wonder why it is keeping gain so much hate even today, 7 years afterwards. Dowdy plot, boring characters, poor gameplay mechanics - everything in the best traditions of Assassin's Creed games, nothing new. But... That neo-noir style the game was made in kept me glued to screen throughout whole campaign. Only because of aesthetics i'll give it 7/10.

    The game surprised me the most with its details and how the surrounding future will look. When I started talking about the story of the game, I personally enjoyed the start of the game, the game felt at first like a movie series, I mean the cutscenes. The goal of the game's story is about revenge and fighting corrupt bandits and so on, but story - writing was sometimes funny or dumb, without logic. Personally, I liked and disliked how they made the game's gameplay. The most interesting thing was to hack certain things you could. The story mission of the game was very boring, those missions kept repeating only there were a few missions that really felt like a good game, even the side missions were better than the story mission was, and some game missions were repetitive and were boring. But what I really disliked in the game, the Auto Aim, on the PC platform - WHAT Really? Auto Aim annoyed me a lot because it was too easy to play and very uncomfortable. The enemy's AI was very bad, they only knew how to shoot very accurately and think dumb. The game had quite a few bugs that interfered with playing the game.

    So the game isn’t too bad I still remember what event happens that day, when Ubisoft cheated players that Watch Dogs would have brutally good graphics, but things were different. I may have played the older version, maybe everything is fine now, but I wanted to start with the older version. I enjoyed the details of the city and that life in the game felt like the future. The game has problems, and it is not the best. I would dedicate 7/10 to this game.    … Expand

But the gameplay itself is just awful. Ubisoft took the worst aspects of GTA/Saints Row and turned them up to 11. Best believe that each and every activity in the game are there to annoy you.     The story and mission designs of this game are good, but the gameplay is the most disgusting gameplay mechanics I've seen among all games. The game does not officially aim at you. The character stands up by himself when in the trench. The aiming aid of the game is so disgusting that it officially won't let me use my mouse.

    A game with an interesting story and decent game play, but a lacking open world. The story kept me interested until the end with enjoyable missions and memorable characters. Making the environment interactive through hacking explosive pipes, bollards, and other world objects is a great idea and it's fun to do. There's a good soundtrack to go along with the game.     I've played this game just because get it free in EGS and don't have any hope I like it. But, it was interesting experience and after all this years I can say that WD series do the same story as AC series - strange but interesting first game, great second game and frustrating third.     Visual (7/10): So graphics is good, but as I know at the start there were too many problems and differences between prebuild and the game, even years after release on new videocard - the game lack optimization. Music was not very memorable, it was average just for atmosphere. Interface and visual design was ok, I don't feel the city is living I feel like it's my big sandbox, similar feeling I had in Prorotype years ago.

    Gameplay (6/10): Gameplay is not balanced, first mission on stadium - WOW, hacking city - WOW, virtual drug mini-games - cool, but it's first couple of hours in game, than you need to play a bit boring linear storyline, a hue minus of the game balance - in the end game it's better and easier to kill everyone using weapons rather than do some hacking staff and it's really frustrating, because WD is bad shooter game with strange physics.
    Story (7/10) Story is very average, but I really like characters and interaction between them. Really good job for direction some missions , very cinematographic. And it was a bit interesting at the beginning to understand how everything works with this cityOS. All other things are just average - we are god guys, all others are bad guys, and of course super bad guy who will tell us the plan before shoot us.

    So all in all WD is not an AAA game, but it was good AA game with some unique mechanics that I really like. and that's why I've tried other games. So like first AC this game is not balanced, was not optimized a lot, and have some boring moments in a super serious story, but I feel that developers and designers really like what they did and tried their bests. I think I can recommend this game to everyone who likes open-world games, or want to check WD series. But it's not a masterpiece or must play game, just good ambiguous game.    … Expand

The story shows to you a criminal who lost her sister-in-law, the only person who was happy with him. For his fault, Maurice killed her, and Aiden thinks that the only way to redeem is the revenge. But thats a big mistake. He tries to kill maurice, a few days, her sister gets kidnapped and he tries to go after damien, but hes does criminal things. After a while, he mets clara lile, her helper, after, he meet T-Bone, unfortunately, he starts to loose, things at the end of the because his obsession to kill damien, he loses clara, she is killed; he loses his family because they don't wanna be on risk, he loose his dignity and finally, when he kills damien, he kills his friend, jordi-chin. I personally think that the story represents how bad is the revenge, and how a criminal, usually can't become good person. Honestly, i hate the end because jordi-cin for no reason is still alive, but the story is breaking-down, you feel bad for the characters around Aiden pearce. The graphics are generic, in 2014 were good, but nowadays, i recommend to put graphical mods because some moments growned very bad at the time. The world is interesting, has some interesting activities but are very short and its easy to get the final trophie (platinum, in ps4, for example). The gameplay its very good, and the car persecutions are spectacular, with all of the hacks and slow motion, the final boss its very original, because you needd to drive around the city escaping and trying to go places wich in a short time, get hacked. The atmposhere is good, and dark. The game has a lots of bugs. Good performance. I recommend it, but only for 30$… Expand

    It's good to play but once the story is over you can't and don't want to play anymore

Worse are the subsequent Watch Dogs, which lost all that vigilante feature that AidenOne of the few jewels that exist among video games. With the garbage that there is today, that this Watch Dogs has received so much criticism is an injustice, even more so for a simple supposedly misleading E3 trailer that has not fooled me, because what I saw in the trailer matched what I later played.     Solid open-world game, it's not GTA 5 level, but it had it's own cool things that GTA 5 doesn't have. Like you can ride inside train and actually walk around there, GTA 5 doesn't have that. GTA 5 is obviously better game, but Watch Dogs is still great.

    Nobody even cares about that stupid E3 trailer anymore. That was million years ago. Game looks still great on PC no matter what. City is well designed and gunplay is fun. Hacking makes this game stand out of other similar games.

    Watch_Dogs is better game than Legion and WD 2 combined. I have lost all hope for this series, but at least there will be always this game to play. Strong doubt Ubisoft can fix this series, if they even want to make next game.

Biggest problem with these kinds of games is that everyone tries to compare them to GTA 4 (2008) and honestly this is unfair in every possible way.     Ubisoft's flagship title has a really, really repulsive protagonist. The entire storyline feels like it was cranked out of a automated story generator. On the positive side, Watch Dogs looks really good on PC, especially after modding the graphics to match the visual splendor of the early E3 demos. [Aug 2014]

    Nothing could have realistically lived up to the immense level of hype that Ubisoft stirred up for this game, and while I value strong narratives and envelope-pushing technological advancements, I place just as much importance in the ability to enjoy the gameplay that's being offered to me. Watch Dogs is one of the more exciting sandbox games of the last few years, and if this is to become Ubisoft's next big franchise, I'm excited to see where they take it.
