May 28, 2014Yes, I played this game.
Why?
1. The whole game is like GTA 3.5 - ok, not a BIG problem.
2. Bugs? Ok, it's 'normal' ...
3. Camera - where is dynamic camera?
4. Collision system.. really?
5. Crowd system control - I thought after all ACs this would be mastered to perfection.
6. Physics?
7. Mechanics?
and so many other 'little' things... -

May 27, 2014high production values in all the wrong area's. overall just kind of mediocre and one button interactions. the game is ok, but nothing amazing or ground breaking.
probably should stop making games for 6 platforms and then integrating smart phones.
but hey, rich ppl gonna make bad games. cuz they don't play games. -

May 27, 2014The game is boring. It has bad graphics and physics (worse than GTA IV does), stupid and repetetive gameplay. NPCs and cars are spawning right in front of the player.

May 27, 2014Terrible PC port. The optimization is abysmal. The story is completely boring. Regarding the game play, think of it as a glorified assassins creed set in current time. I have a pretty high end PC and suffer from fps drops while driving or doing any other stuff. Also, ultra settings don't live up to the quality of the demo shown a while back. Don't buy it, or just wait until Ubisoft fixes it.

May 27, 2014Game sucks. Buyer Beware! Stay away! Bargain bin material. Overhyped piece of c...
NPCs are dumb. Car physics are moronic. Hacking is retarded. Story is stupid. Avoid! Seriously, the game crashes all the time, there's nothing to do in the "live, breathing city", and it's short. This game is awful. -

May 27, 2014first of all: Don't let the low user score scare you from this title. It's a good game.
Ubisoft made people wait a hole year for this game, and after that, another year. That made impossible surpass the expectations. That probably happened because the game is too ambitious.
The game lacks its own style and looks like a copy of GTA, but that don't make it a bad game. -

May 27, 2014You can hack security cameras...cool(really very).
You can hack the stuff you are seeing from the security camera WTF. Before this I was sceptical, and was not liking it, post this I hated it never to boot it up again. -

Pelit (Finland)Sep 3, 2014Ubisoft's flagship title has a really, really repulsive protagonist. The entire storyline feels like it was cranked out of a automated story generator. On the positive side, Watch Dogs looks really good on PC, especially after modding the graphics to match the visual splendor of the early E3 demos. [Aug 2014]

PC PowerPlayJun 29, 2014There are some strong gameplay elements in Watch Dogs, but overall it's merely an adequate open world game. [July 2014, p.46]

Jun 23, 2014Nothing could have realistically lived up to the immense level of hype that Ubisoft stirred up for this game, and while I value strong narratives and envelope-pushing technological advancements, I place just as much importance in the ability to enjoy the gameplay that's being offered to me. Watch Dogs is one of the more exciting sandbox games of the last few years, and if this is to become Ubisoft's next big franchise, I'm excited to see where they take it.
