May 31, 2014This game is great! Game play is fun and extremely interactive. Can't wait for the patches to smooth things out. That is why I give this game a 9 and not a 10, is because of the technical sloppiness.

May 31, 2014Game had a very promising start but after Act 2 (of 4) the writing goes straight out the window. The missions become repetitive and unimaginative. The game was a 8 eight about half way in but dropped quite sharply after that.

May 31, 2014I was really looking forward to playing this game, I found the story interesting and original, but the controls are awful, specially the mouse, it's a mess. I don't think I can play it like this.

May 31, 2014I can hardly even review the content of the game, as I have yet to even get into it. My system, running an AMD Radeon HD 7950 graphics card, blue screened not once, not twice, but thirteen times on the lowest graphics settings possible. If you value your $59.99, give this game a pass.

May 31, 2014The game is unique and really fun.
Too bad many haters rate it low because some people think there was downgrade, even if there was it looks absolutely gorgeous. -

May 31, 2014Just a call to metacritic to try and stop these very obvious FAKE reviews to try and get the score to a positive number. people are pissed of because we are getting RIPPED OFF yet again by the likes of Ubisoft
I am beyond rage about these horrible media campaigns and the unfortunatly expected crappy console ports. What a bad day for gamers. -

May 31, 2014Maybe this game is good on consoles and some supercomputers, but in current state it's unplayable on many (powerful) PCs. Game have great potential but doesn't live it's potential.

May 31, 2014Story is awesome! Still there is a bunch of true misses like really bad car-phisics and city-scape made of concrete and paper)) Srsly, all you can brake is as fragile as paper)) But! Stealth and shooting mechancs are OK, no more no less. Chases and car-stealth are realy something new to me. And there's one thing that makes them all shine with new colors.. it's HACKING!

Pelit (Finland)Sep 3, 2014Ubisoft's flagship title has a really, really repulsive protagonist. The entire storyline feels like it was cranked out of a automated story generator. On the positive side, Watch Dogs looks really good on PC, especially after modding the graphics to match the visual splendor of the early E3 demos. [Aug 2014]
-
PC PowerPlayJun 29, 2014There are some strong gameplay elements in Watch Dogs, but overall it's merely an adequate open world game. [July 2014, p.46]

Jun 23, 2014Nothing could have realistically lived up to the immense level of hype that Ubisoft stirred up for this game, and while I value strong narratives and envelope-pushing technological advancements, I place just as much importance in the ability to enjoy the gameplay that's being offered to me. Watch Dogs is one of the more exciting sandbox games of the last few years, and if this is to become Ubisoft's next big franchise, I'm excited to see where they take it.
