    I was surprised to find out that so many on steam and youtube actually really like this game, i thought it got some hate, but haters are always pathetic minority

    GTA 5 might be best game of all time overall, but game like this will be forever in my heart no matter what. Highly recommending!

    Not regretting trying it, here's the lesson, never take negative reviews seriously on metacritic until you have tried certain game for yourself. You might miss out on many outstanding games that are hated for dumb reasons.

    Graphics in this game were ahead of it's time, looking at trash games like cyberpunk2077 makes me like games like this even more (and overall open-world as well)

    graphics are very nice, i think story could be little bit better but that's forgivable because overall everything else was amazing okay.

    This game will forever belong in my top 50 video games of all time list. It is special and it is well done by 2014 standards. Biggest problem with these kinds of games is that everyone tries to compare them to GTA 4 (2008) and honestly this is unfair in every possible way. GTA 4 (2008) is one of the biggest gems in history of open world games. It was at least 5 years ahead of time and wasThis game will forever belong in my top 50 video games of all time list. But all that doesn't mean that Watch Dogs is bad or doesn't stand out. Watch Dogs is very much unique game, hacking cars, bridges, trains, people's phones etc was first time ever done in gaming. That will always be something Watch Dogs did first and nobody can take that away. Chicago is well designed, over 50 different cars you can drive, murder mystery to solve, decent story, cool outfits, lots of guns etc. Graphically one of the best looking games of 2014.     Ubisoft's flagship title has a really, really repulsive protagonist. The entire storyline feels like it was cranked out of a automated story generator. On the positive side, Watch Dogs looks really good on PC, especially after modding the graphics to match the visual splendor of the early E3 demos. [Aug 2014]

    Nothing could have realistically lived up to the immense level of hype that Ubisoft stirred up for this game, and while I value strong narratives and envelope-pushing technological advancements, I place just as much importance in the ability to enjoy the gameplay that's being offered to me. Watch Dogs is one of the more exciting sandbox games of the last few years, and if this is to become Ubisoft's next big franchise, I'm excited to see where they take it.
