    un juego que me debería traer nostalgia y felicidad... pero lo cierto es que no es así. Solo me trajo tristeza al ver como lo habían hecho y el intento de engañar a la gente o sus mas grandes fans con una entrega totalmente demacrada. Solo puedo decir que ya estoy con el reembolso.

    Nada de lo que prometieron ha sido realizado, las voces son peores que en el original, los iconos han perdido su gracia, la mejora de texturas ni hablemos, el modelado 3 d corto, simple, chapucero y poco fiel con la realidad

    Very disappointed. No ladders, no clan, no channel of chat, voice of units changed and no possibility of use the original... that is a game without a lot of good things that had in past. And, if you create new mods of maps... the intellectual property is for Blizzard. Bad bad bad...

    Why would I rate this game even though I didn't buy it?
    Because I did buy the original Warcraft 3, and Blizzard decided that with the release of Reforged they had the right to completely gut the classic version. Thanks Blizzard.

    This is suppose to be an amazing nostalgia trip for me, right after the disaster with WoW classic, i still gave a chance to it. But holy ****, it was ridden with bugs, crashes and frustrating moments. Not only that, the game constantly freezes every couple seconds making it completely unplayable. They not only took longer to release the game, but the game they released was utter trash.This is suppose to be an amazing nostalgia trip for me, right after the disaster with WoW classic, i still gave a chance to it.     How can this game be anything other than a solid ZERO if I cannot get pass the the term of service?
    This game provided a platform for players to build things, you don't get to own the idea, imagine new Microsoft excel claim they now own all the spreadsheet and its data, ridiculous.

    40 euros wasted. DON'T buy this game, it's nowhere close to what was promised, it's full of bugs, crashes, laggy as hell. As a huge fan of Blizzard games since Warcraft II in 1996, I feel betrayed. SHAME ON YOU BLIZZARD.

    Everything has been said, thousands of truly disappointed gamers are left behind and I totally agree with them. I am not going to re enumerate all the issues of the game. Everyone who played this 17 year old game (which actually still had a reasonable player base) knows that blizzard just.......totally **** up.

    I just hope that the reason this incomplete game was published the way it is right now was because of:

    -Activison putting pressure on blizzard to release more games to make fast money
    -Some kind of major breakdown during production, causing them to start like 10 times over again
    -A hacker assault, who deleted all the Cut-scenes, Ladders, Profiles and added new AGB to the game (pretty unlikely)

    Otherwise all hope is lost, because then there wont be a way blizzard is ever going to give us the quality of games back, blizzard was used to be known. Even Activision has to accept that the current way with all the **** breaking down on blizzard is probably not the right way to go, but i guess before they realize blizzard and all its games have to die out and thats probably the best thing that could happen. I and all of you blizzard fans out there would do best if you boycott their games to force them to break down, free themselves and probably reincarnate one day. That is just me dreaming. If they would be gone, its still better than everything they sell us right now.

    Yeah, I needed just 1 to ask for redound. I got disconnected twice, at one moment my unit were not taking any action. And the menu, oh my God the menu move horrible. Even the map in loading screen is like a photo with 0.1 megapixel camera.
    So so bad. They should take it out and come back next year with something that works.

    Am asteptat jocul degeaba :( I got this game to relive my childhood and bring back many amazing, nostalgic, funny, heroic, fun memories. This is one customer that will aggressively pursue a refund, due to the pile of electronic dung that I was tricked into getting. Good riddance blizzard.

    Here comes release, i get day off at work and start playing campain and realise that ive got cheated.
    campaign not working old client dissapeard and also my D: drive with it. all my 4tb data lost...
    now im crying from disappointment. and who will gona get my all data back?
    and to play with old licence key i must still download 30 gigs for what? its not cross play how you promised. its 1 game with grapichs options....
    look at microsoft how they make remasters with AOE and AOM!

It seems that when Red Shirt Guy at BlizzCon 2018 asked if Diablo Immortals was an out of season April Fools joke, Blizzrd panicked, pulled the entire deveopment team off of Warcraft III, and set them the task of creating Diablo IV. Thats the only reason I can think why Warcraft III is such a heap of unfinshed poop.

    Long time fan here, 10k hours ++ in orignal warcraft 3. The game is absolutely broken.. 60% of your public games won't even start when you que up. And if it by any miracle starts you are prone to disconnect or game crash. Yesterday i just exited the game after not being able to play public games and custom games because of it either crashing or disconnecting all the time.     At the time they announced wc3 reforged I was quite sad that they where not announcing wc4.
    But thankfully they destroyed warcraft 3 and not warcraft 4.
    Let's hope Blizzard will learn from this, and create a great wc4.

    Retroactively ruining great games in blatant cash grabs? Sounds like the next big thing in AAA video game companies. Reforged itself being bad is sad enough, but the fact that it actually goes out of its way to impose its flaws on the original game is truly disgusting. Let's hope this fiasco teaches Blizzard that they can't release bug-ridden, flawed games and get away with it.

    Huge disappointment because of lack of single-player mode. Having no cheat codes is OK. But in Reforged I can't even save my games! This is very important when I'm playing a long custom map. Also without single-player mode I can only pause games for 3 times, and I can't use the "restart mission" button to restart a map quickly. What are Blizzard people thinking?

    Blizzard somehow managed to make a poorer performing, laggier, and technically worse product than 17 years ago. It's truly despicable. I didn't even get tricked into buying the retexture pack and i still have to suffer the same as those who did.

Reading up it looks like features from the original game, whichi have paid for, have been removed and I have to download a game i don't want? Terrible. For anyone that's bought it, get a refund now.

    Long version:
    When I was young, Warcraft III was one of my first strategy game. I just loved the art of the game and the map editor to build your custom game. When Blizzard announced the new Reforged Edition, I was excited. I pre-purchased it right away when it's become available. I never thought that someone can ruin an old game when they have the great recipe for it. The new art direction is horrible, the over detailed models are not a good choice for a strategy game. When you zoom in it's great but who plays a strategy game zoomed in? (It's not the fault of the outsourced art team. Blizzard was the one who accepted the new art direction.) The new menu is also a disaster. They changed the old 3D menu for a boring 2D animated wallpaper. The UI of the main menu has an insane input lag (on a i5-9400F CPU). Also the structure of the new menu is a colossal mess, just try to start a simple offline game against the computer and you will see it too. One of the new addition to the game is the option for microtransactions, just as they did it with StarCraft II. (You have to pay extra 10€ to unlock the 4 multiplayer hero skins.) There are several bugs in gameplay (ex.: unit and group movement issues and missing shaders) and some crashes too. I have just finished the Exodus of the Horde and my reward was a game crash. When I finally refounded this monstrosity, I noticed that the old Warcraft III is no longer available. They merged the old version to this monstrosity.
    I have almost forget their new anti-community policy. It's just going to kill one of the strongest aspect of this game, the custom map community.
    It was the last time I bought anything from Blizzard. It's clear that the old Blizzard is no longer exists. It's become an another money hungry company.    … Expand

    I never thought I would have to make a metacritic account but Activision left me with no choice.
    Warcraft III (NOT REFORGED) has been one of the best games I've ever played and it made my childhood amazing and has a special place in my heart.
    Activision does not care about the games and only the money they make from it.

    Blizzard does not exist anymore, it's just Activision

    Weeks after release this game is still practically unplayable. Can't play a custom game without getting DC'd half the time and the other half is a buggy mess. This would be unacceptable in an indy game let alone one of the biggest game developers in the industry. I finally gave up and uninstalled.

    The only Pro about this game is the graphical update. Blizzard has managed to take a legendary rts and mold re-mold it into a pile of crap. They have merged warcraft 3 with warcraft 3 regorged and if you dont upgrade to reforged the game feels broken. UI, game mechanics just dont work properly.     When I reinstalled the game, all my cards were deleted. REMOVED - ALL MY WORKS. WHOLE 6 YEARS IN EMPTY !!!!!!!!!! I will set ZERO for such stupidity

    no ladder, very little remaining of the blizzcon announcements, buggy (I suppose that's to be expected these days). The new artwork/style isn't really working for me personally either. All and all very disappointing.

    Reforged… 'Stripped yet somehow updated' is more like it.

    I prefer to remember the game as it used to be; not the abomination it has become. My soul bears the burden of my pre-order, but I have been patient; I have been waiting. And when the time is right, the Betrayer will become... the refunded.

    There were a lot of bugs that I cannot even recognize the nostalgia experience from the original Warcraft 3 anymore. The fact that I can't even play the original Warcraft 3 on battle net made it even worse.
    Forget about storming area 51, lets raid Blizzard instead.

    This game shows how Blizzard has step back, makes the game's graphics feels like downgraded, its cutscenes was bad , you literally merge its server with original w3, making w3 feels worse, you take ownership for custom maps, etc. What you promises for its features was literally a lie

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
