    What exactly did Blizzard thing with this game? It is neither a decent remake, nor a good successor. I feel bad for all people that pre-ordered on false promises and hopes and are being denied refunds. Even the f'ing cut-scenes have been neutered from a months old demo, where did they go?

    Que ce soit pour des raisons commerciales ou autre, le "jeu" est quand même sorti.
    Á coté de ça, faut être honnête, c'est une catastrophe. Rien ne va, je me suis donc fait rembourser.

    Huge fan of the original. A company like Blizzard should not be allowed to deliver this. It deserves all the backlash they're getting. Doesn't properly support ultra wide on full screen. You need to play it in windowed mode. Feels sluggish, the animations are bad. Playing the original gives a much better experience. Don't allow them to get away with this. They'll do it again.

    I´ve got my refund now after seeing the results of this development after 1 year of waiting for it.

    Created this account for this game alone DO NOT BUY!!! But if you did buy and want a refund just keep pestering them. I put in 5 tickets and if you have other blizzard games you care about dont swear they will ban all activity on your account as I found out. Good job Activision you ruined another company

    I loved the original Warcraft 3 game. I do understand why would they want to merge original game and Reforged one.. but if the game you are trying to reforge (and merge) is so well loved by players, WHY make so many terrible changes to it? And on top of that cut the planned changes that would/could make the the game actually better? The person who approved of those cuts needs to be fired :)

    At release ignored every release or news, I was reading the main page while waiting to install. Most important thing on the website (on release day) for me was 4 hours of new cinematics. The opening cinematic started and I    No cursing or fake rage, I bought this game for Single player & Mods.
    I did not research enough about the shape the game was in and pre-ordered the game (that is on me).

    Most important thing on the website (on release day) for me was 4 hours of new cinematics.
    The opening cinematic started and I was impressed with the changes, still not have read anything about the game.

    Here ended the so called reforge changes, no new UI, No 4 Hours new cinematics, Not the same style of ingame cinematics they showed in 2018.

    I have a 2080 GTX TI and could run the game with now issues 4K 60FPS, but the ingame cinematics are locked on 20-25 fps, it is just not acceptable. I started to research how to fix that issue and then for the first time saw what Blizzard truly has done.

    I read about the mods and what they were planning, disgusting. I have the fondest memories from the game MODs, playing with friends at LAN parties, early 2000ends. Only good thing come out of this was that they refund my pre-order.
    Blizzard is done, and to be honest it was like this for while now. I would never pre-order anything from them and they can not fool us with some shiny Diablo IV teasers.

    They should just change the name to Activision and be done with it. Blizzard is DEAD.    … Expand

    I am really not sure if I should be sad or angry about what happened to the company I loved. Blizzard games changed my life and they made me the person I am today.     I agree with several comments that I wish I could have paid them to not release the game because what we have is a worse version than that which I had 17 years ago. It's a sad day made sadder by their pathetic non-apology, going as far as somehow 'blaming' the gamers for why they haven't made the changes they showed us at E3 2018.

    They broke all of the custom maps, added 50,000 new bugs to the game and messed up the colours even for the reign of chaos version, if you actually buy the remaster all you get is some Malaysian outsourced models, the whole thing is garbage and a downgrade to a great game released in 2002.

    It's total disappointment. Missing features advertised before release date, new models with old laggy animations and textures not matching world, CUT FEATURES FROM ORIGINAL VERSION just to make it compatible with Reforged... That's a shame, it's not the game I've been waiting for.

    Trailers that were demonstrated before and the game trailers and other things 146% match. The game meets all my expectations and I can recommend this game only my worst opponents.
    Thank you, Blizzard, you can do what others cant. Keep going that way, hope to hear from you and from your amazing projects soon!

    No reforged cinematics (Illidan versus Arthas is a draft). Pure lie by Blizzard and still on their website. No additions but removals of old features such as ladder, tournaments, stats, profiles, etc... Custom maps are not yours anymore and you won’t get a penny if Blizzard turns your maps into official games... well, then nobody is gonna do custom map anymore... Lot of bugs everywhere.
    Can’t play classic anymore... Everything is wrong with this game, from marketing, communication, advertisement to release and damage control. I’m disgusted by Blizzzard. When I think I almost worked for them 5 years ago. Thank god...    … Expand

I've learned to expect less and less as this company has become more and more like EA. I boycotted their cash grab games long ago. I am committed to doing the same with Blizzard.     the reforged graphics arn't worth 30-40 €.
    Versus 4vs4 random team is horrible to play, about 50% of the games at least 1 player of your or the other team leaves or gets a disconnect.
    and at least 1-2 times a week the ping is 450+ so its unplayable.
    don't buy this game don't support blizzard anymore

    -It is basically a lot of fake publicity to grab money from fans on pre-purchase, official website still displays features not in the game.

    Refunded my copy. Embarrassing release for Bluzzard. Crashes every other game I play in custom games, that’s if I even connect to the game. I can’t create any custom games, and also have trouble joining 45% of the games others host on the public custom games. The blizzard I grew up with is long gone. Won’t be getting diablo 4 or any other blizzard games for the rest of my life.

Unit models are best looking when you fully zoom in on them but no one plays like that. The design in versus mode is confusing. The colors blend too much. I can’t tell if I’m fighting a frostie or a wyvern. Is Tauren chief bigger than a large dragon? I played 20 3v3 matches. I’m happy they have enough people playing to do 3v3 and with fast queue time; however, about a minute or two in each match someone has been kicked from the game with some weird text that shows up on the screen that everyone can see. There hasn’t been a single balanced match due to the disconnects. I can’t view my profile, stats, or change my icon. I still play because I’ve always been a blizzard fan but all of their projects over the pass view years have been mismanaged in some critical way. Either the game is great but the continual artistic development of the game ruins the balance or the policies and lack of responding to feedback in a timely matter have made the community bitter and the rate of trolling, especially in competitive modes, has grown so large that it’s can be experienced in every match that doesn’t have two fully premade teams. Lastly, I don’t mind paying $30 for an outdated game but it has to be finished product, not in beta for campaign mode and in alpha for versus mode.… Expand

    It is really unacceptable that blizzard now says that it is the fault of the user to expect something that was not, after them say that they will do a lot of things and then deliver the same game only with a change of texture that is not even the best that they could do, and they still don't make the game, really disappointing the blizzard now

    Was für ein Enttäuschung!!!!!!!!! Ich habe das Spiel geschenkt bekommen, und kann nur sagen dass es nur scheisse ist. Ein Remaster ist nicht nur ein Grafik Upgrade!!!!! Ok?!

    When people screamed this ruined my favorite game I did not think they meant that you can no longer play Warcraft 3 frozen throne online at all.
    You cannot play Wc3 anymore without buying reforged. I have been playing Wc3 custom maps multiple times a week for many years now I can not even login. Just wow.....

    Many bugs, game crashes, downgrade from the original game, laggy and blizzard now take full ownership of custom maps created, meaning that new original map ideas will not be as common as it were in the original. Due to the fact that map creators will never be able to profit or develop further on their creations.

    The truth is, ladies and gents, is that Blizzard lost its heart and soul a long time ago, and has since morphed into yet another typical big corporation focused solely on maximum profit. They don't care about feedback from their customers and loyal fans anymore. They don't care about anything that doesn't have money attached to it.

    Blizzard deserves this score. I would say let's hope that they read these reviews and perhaps implement some changes, but that's tantamount to hoping that pigs may one day fly.

    Not delivering what was promised. It looks like nothing compared to the announcement trailer and original features have been removed. Blizzard has once again proven that they are not the same company that they used to be. Good job, Activision.

    I'm giving this a zero rating mainly because of the incredibly anti-consumer eula. It's completely unacceptable to take intellectual property rights away from modders / map creators. This is downright evil.

Blizzard was beloved by all, now all that's left it's shallow memories corrupted and plagued by people that want just money and that have nothing to do with the gaming experience. Warcraft 3 was to gaming like The Lord of the Rings is to movies, a story that enriched our childhood with great adventures and stories that left us mesmerisingThis is the death of a god in the gaming industry. Beyond all metaphors, this remake has failed by all aspects of it's creation. And with it, it has destroyed what was before as well.     Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
