    This is a huge disappointment. False advertising, broken promises, ignoring criticism, refusing to admit your mistakes, repression of creator rights, hypocrisy. I made a Metacritic account just for this, and I own all of Blizzards games. At least until I refunded Warcraft 3: Refunded.

    A low quality texture pack sold for a high price as if it was a standalone game that also manages to break most elements of the old Warcraft III in the process. Awful netcode, tons of bugs, game feels laggy and unpolished.
    Blizzard is no longer a friend. I vote with my money and refund it.

    I was really hoping to get to play a game that brings back memories of the first franchise I fell in love with! Sad to see the game will be just a memory now.

    I was really looking forward to the promised "reforged" Warcraft III. I am disappointed. Empty promises from Blizzard and the final delivered product is buggy and shallow. It's a retrograde to the classic. It would be okay for a first time player - but it is not what Blizzard was peddling to the existing fan base.

    realmente el juego no lo vale, no trae lo prometido, esta lleno de bugs y solo es una pequeña texturizacion, sin contar el timo de clausula de robo por el que te pasan el creador de mapas. Lo peor es que nisiquiera deja jugar el antiguo que por lo menos aunque no estubiera tan texturisado era jugable.

    I am a long time content creator for blizzard games. I used to make custom maps on StarCraft 1, Warcraft 3 and StarCraft 2. However because of Warcraft 3 Reforged new policies I'll not be creating new maps and campaigns here. It is time for me to move away from modding blizzard games and embrace other companies that will not be stealing from hard working mod creators.

    Main issue about the game - advertisement is misleading and wrong.

    Some feedback on my own experience. I've purchased the game just for the story campaign, to review the new missions and modifications to the old ones according to the WoW lore. The first act ( Orcs tutorial ) was nice in general.     I've purchased the game just for the story campaign, to review the new missions and modifications to the old ones according to the WoW lore.

    The first act ( Orcs tutorial ) was nice in general. Was impressed with the new missions, they set up some expectations for the rest of the actual acts.

    Second act ( Human campaign) was without modifications, only one map was re-done and that the map that was advertised in the pro videos. Everything else was a lazy copy paste.

    After this I've stopped playing.

    Regarding the videos and cut sciences.
    Nothing was changed or improved. Just re-shot the old game in the new graphics. Kinda sad.

    Another point is I'm very annoyed that lips move randomly ( it's a blizzard game and 2020 ... ).

    Biggest hit in the balls was the Arthas killing his father scene. Its the same old movie clip in a better resolution.

    Had some troubles controlling the troops as well. The movement command feels more clunky and less optimized that in the 2002 original game ( when people actually gave a **** ).

    I don't know to whom to recommend this game actually. May be if you have kids that are not spoiled and never played the original game, this can do.

    In case the game was advertised as a Just Graphical Improvement - would rate the game 4/10 because of the lazy work on the remake of the maps and story mode.

    Most horrendous product i ever bought and stripped away from my right of playing the original game where i payed for too. The one making that decision is evil beyond imagination.

    Broken promises, lies, false advertisement, the game is so bugged, that I couldnt play the campaign. The performance in this game is so bad. It's really totally **** The walking animations of the units. They suck more than before. This game is really a **** show.

    Worst of all, they deleted the original game, so you can't even go back to the old version

    This is the biggest disappointment in blizzard's projects. I play for many years in world of warcraft, starcraft, diablo and warcraft 1,2,3. I'm used to high quality company projects. This game does not meet the highest quality standards of the company and is a spit in the fans.

    How you can fukup the Original as well as the ''Reforged'' version at the same time is TRULY baffling to me.. So much false advertising that they should be sued. Refunded it, never have been happier with a decision regarding a game that I bought.

    1 game made, 2 games burned. Nice one Blizzard!! Should have known better then to expect anything in regards to quality these days. I guess the nostalgia of the past where anything that Blizzard used to touch turning gold is long over now :(

    This HAS to be some kind of social experiment to see just how much **** they can get away with, and still make some buck. Disgusting practice. Calling this a game, RELEASING this steaming pile of **** is unbelievable. Slaughtering one of the last things left we can look at and say "This was Blizzard". Going the Disney way. Forget the past. Все что нужно было, это добавить новый графен, обновить движок, натолкать лутбоксов со скинами (привет сами знаете кто), накинуть пару новых кампаний. Но нет. Позаботились только о том, чтобы людские кастомки в случае успеха остались у метлы. и все. все остальное на аутсорсе ушло в закономерную помойку. Это хуже чем вк3. Убитый сетевой лаунчер, убитые мои глаза, лагов и багов больше чем у беседки. Из обещаний с 18 близкона сделано абсолютно ничего. Тупо худшее что я видел из игр… Expand

    И финалочкой отобрали у людей их TFT, купленный давным давно.

    This "reforge" is a travesty to the legacy that is the original Warcraft III. It takes away the features that users loved the most, while not providing anything new.     I am actually sad, because I planned to play this game. Also port the coop campaign (with the new PROMISED map editor) that a few guys did years ago and play that with my friends.

Кампания не переделана, озвучка испорчена, присутствует значительное количество багов, функциональность меню настроек так и осталась на уровне 2002 года, визуальная составляющая противоречива -- ухудшились узнаваемость юнитов и эффекты заклинаний, а у картоделов отняли стимул относиться к своим творениям так же старательно. Не вижу смысла рассматривать релиз как полноценную игру, поэтому буду сравнивать с оригиналом, при этом исходя из первоначальных обещаний близзард (ценник же не упал, а сохранился, значит, предполагается, что изначально заявленный продукт стоил бы столько же, сколько стоит этот сырой релиз). А сравнение с оригиналом дает провал по всем пунктам. Ни по одному показателю близзардам не удалось превзойти оригинальную игру. Наоборот, мы видим, что по всем позициям, кроме графики, качество игры резко упало. Это совершенно лицемерное отношение к сообществу и фанатской базе игры. 1 балл.… Expand

    I would have paid double the price and not complained for the exact same game/UI/Voice acting with enhanced graphics.
    How can you mess a main menu this badly when 18 years ago you had a decent and fonctional one? Why can't you switch to the original voices even though you can play with the original graphics?

    I was really excited when they first announced the game. War3 accompanied me throughout my childhood and I pre-purchased it as soon as I could. However, the release is a total disaster and I am worried the reforged version will kill this legendary game I have liked for 15 years :(

    Just think about this, if someone promise you something and when you recieve that is incomplete, how you will feel? this is a real example of a game under develpment, and the users will pay for that. We know this soon or later will be a great game, but this isn't correct way to do it.     - No new UI - Units in 1v1 difficult to see due to bad colors - FPS problems - Game stripped from old features - You can not play warcraft 3 classic in the old client anymore and you are forced to download 30 gb even if you don't need them. - All custom games are Blizzard    Nothing of what was promised is actually in the game, this is a scam that should be avoided like the plague:

    What did you expect from new Corporate Blizzard? I grew up with this game and was heartbroken when I saw this. How out of touch are they going to get? They only care about money. Not the games they make.. or made, not their fans... only money.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This is an absolutely an amazing nostalgia trip for me, unlike WoW classic which immediately bored the crap out of me after 5 minutes. Music is improved, visuals, cinematics, etc. This is exactly what I expected and it was delivered. On the 3rd missions in the campaign and already addicted just as I was when the game originally released. You know you have another gem when you can't turn off the game even after mythic/LFR Ny'alotha come out on the same day! Way to go Blizz!!!! Now all we can hope for is Warcraft 4 and a great new storyline. I CANNOT wait to get to the frozen throne expansion already!!!!! Almost 70 missions of single player content and can't wait to try some multiplayer after I'm done with the campaign. This is awesome. NO ONE does RTS like Blizzard.… Expand

    Blizzard totally used false advertising to get mass pre-orders on this game. The final product is nothing like what was advertised. It’s a poor performing, overpriced pathetic remake. The original is far better. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DON’T GIVE BLIZZARD A PENNY!

    They delivered a terrible product. I preordered this game and what they showed on their reveal in 2018. is a completely different game than the one we got in 2020. The cutscenes look way worse, the FPS is terrible and many other features were cut.

    THIS IS A MONEY GRAB zzz

    A parody of the original Warcraft 3. No promised cutscenes, destroyed multiplayer, bugs, poor optimalization, monopolization of content. What was taken was taken away, not given what was promised. Only word - disaster.

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
