    lies about cutscenes, a lot of features removed from original game (and you can't play that one anymore)

    This is unprecedented. You have defiled a nearly 2 decade old game that I used to cherish just for money. I doubt the real creators of Warcraft 3 even work at your company anymore. You're a bunch of morally-bankrupt grave-robbers.

    The players are clearly the only people who truly valued this game. HOW ABOUT YOU STOP HOLDING MY WARCRAFT 3 HOSTAGE? WHY CAN'T YOU GIVE IT BACK?!

    You can go ahead and make terrible new titles and remasters that I won't pay for, but ruining classics made by the real Blizzard? You've crossed the line bud.

    The game doesn't add anything to the story. It is not a refirge more like a texture pack. But coming back on promises, scaling back shadows and forcing people with the original game to upgrade while destroying the creative community is why I have to give a zero. This is unacceptable and just is a disgrace to the people

    Cant even play through a campaign mission without the game causing my PC to crash to blue screen. Safe to say this game is blue screen crashing my nostalgia, respect and patience for Warcraft as a franchise and Blizzard as a company. I will play their free to play (without paying for micro transactions) but i doubt I will be purchasing any more from Blizzard.     Hear that it's fashionable to review bomb this game. Never played any Warcraft game in my life to be honest.....or any online multiplayer game for that matter. Not my thing. Looking forward to Doom Eternal and Resident Evil 3 remake on PS4 Pro.

    Very disappointed with this game. Now I know, I know, I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up. But with it being blizzard, I genuinely had hope that this would be at least everything we saw for the announcements and demos. Nope. This is literally wc3 classic with even worse models(they're just upscaled originals). The game definitely looks sharper... But in a bad way. It reminds. Me of circaVery disappointed with this game.     If you followed the trailers, the press announcements from Blizzcon, the advertisement on its website, be prepared to very disappointed. Also not even for that, good luck trying to run the game smoothly. Plus, with Blizzard trying to not incentivize custom game creation by trying to claim ownership over the communities hard work, I fear the spirit of WC3 won't captured in this game.

    I didn't wait 18 years to get this crap. I received the refund already, and will continue playing with my old copy of Warcraft III (I still have my old physical version so at least they were not able to remove that from my hands).

    I am genuinely happy for the very, very, very few people that have managed to find something enjoyable about this travesty, but Reforged is a genuine insult to everyone who has ever played a video game- the ABSOLUTE least Activision (not Blizz, as they have proven they don't exist as anything beyond a corporate tag) deserves in return is a slightly mean review.
    I was able to get my refund by promising legal repercussions, so that might work for you as well. If it doesn't, then whenever the inevitable class-action lawsuit pops up, you'll be able to join with visible evidence.    … Expand

It has a lot of bugs(new ones and also the same bugs as the original one!) and the campaign is hard to play, you keep getting thrown out of the game and automatically lose. The battle.net doesn't really work either, many features from the past are not available.     It’s clear that Blizzard’s 2018 layoffs to “non-development roles” has and will continue to have ramifications for years to come. Putting feature development over quality assurance leads to neither features nor quality, and this absolute disaster of a product is both a testament to that fact and a tangible monument to J. I love this game. The campaign, the custom maps, the LAN parties that I still do with my family. The characters, the voices, the aesthetic. Everything about this game is enjoyable and has been for for the last 17 - 18 years.
    When I was reading the news of the terrible release of this game, I felt bad for the people who purchased it. I felt glad that I waited and that I could still enjoy playing classic Warcraft III until this game got fixed before making the purchase myself.
    I went to jump on classic the other day to have a game against my brother in LAN only to find I needed to update the game. When it finally loaded I saw that the game had been updated to integrate Reforged into it. I thought the two games were going to be separate and it never occurred to me that the classic version would actually be affected in any way by the remastered version. I can still play classic Starcraft for example, despite the remastered version being out there.
    It has completely changed the feel of the game for me. I find it ugly to look at and difficult to play. It's still classic...but a hollow version of classic. If I wanted to experience any of the Reforged updates, I would have purchased the game. Now I feel like the very existence of this game has ruined the experience of the classic game I actually enjoy playing.

    If this gets fixed, and they somehow make them two separate games again rather than sharing the same main page, I will update the score and review the game on its own merits. Until that happens, though, and as long as it is actually affecting the enjoyment of a game I can't even load anymore, I am keeping this score low.    … Expand

The servers have been giving us 200 ping for no good reason. I don't understand why Blizzard wants old customers to pay full price for the product again. 5-15 dollars instead would be way more fair. And another thing... why oh why do some of these bugs even exist? The one that confuses me the most is the team color bug. How did that even happen? Yes, they patched that out, but before they did, the servers were giving us like 60 or less ping. Why break things while fixing stuff? The old Blizzard wouldn't have made mistakes like these, and it's easy to see why people are so angry. I honestly think the game has a lot of potential and it's fantastic that they have returned to the game and attempted to improve it.

    I thought I would rate this a 6 out of 10 with the lag, but the new lag is even worse than what we had before the update, and I was rating this 8 out of 10 with less lag... but they apparently patched out the less lag for no reason and since it's worse then its score is even worse. I value multiplayer experience highly when I look at real time strategy games and this game fails hard on the multiplayer end. I can't recommend it to anyone in its current state.    … Expand

    WC3 custom games made my childhood. I have many memories of lan party games that lasted for countless hours. To see them destroy the remake, kill the original, and 9mm down all the custom games and creators is UNFORGIVABLE. The idea of watching another apology at blizcon is to much. It's becoming a tradition .

    -Графика и общее представление сцен в кампании хуже чем в 2018 на близконе.
    -Рейтинговых игр нет
    -ФПС скачет как чумной
    -Игра периодически вылетает
    -Кланов нет
    По факту в игре нету даже того, что было в 2002 году. Можно, конечно, оправдываться что отдел разработки/саппорта/перерисовки классических игр маленький и не успевает, но сроки компания ставила себе сама. Да и ценник у игры(Покупал расширенную версию) вполне себе как у полноценной новой.

    То что есть на сейчас тянет на уровень ранней беты.
    Чего на самом деле ожидали:
    -Перерисованных роликов(Сначала говрили что это будет, потом что не будет, потом что будет частично)
    -Качественного бнет с внутриигровыми турнирами, кланами, каналами
    -Оптимизацию ФПС(Даже на хороших карточках есть пролаги в моменты построения )
    -От себя лично еще ожидал может каких-то расширенных кампаний, которые не вносили бы изменения в лор(Может про мурлоков рандомных или какие то карты по примеру кампании за рексара). Благо таких карт-кампаний нарисовали за 18 лет существования вк3 уже овер 100500.

    Было бы все это - была бы оценка 10/10, не смотря на мелкие нюансы типо непривычной озвучки(старую версию которой, кстати, также обещали сделать доступной ) неестественной травы, путаницы из юнитов и прочего.

    0/10 считаю справедливой оценкой так как предзаказав игру почти за полтора года до ее выхода в итоге я не получил даже функционала 18(!) летней давности. Это не игра, это бета.    … Expand

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.
