    It's a remaster of a game from 2002, that is SIGNIFICANTLY worse than the original. That is FULLY deserving of a 0 score. Add to that they have intentionally sabotaged the original to prevent people ever playing it again and this game deserves a minus score.

    this is not the game that you promised for me in blizzcon 2018 and 2019. The game contains many bugs, the cinematics is low quality. Anyway, you promise a game and deliver another.

    This product is just embarrassing to the source material. Blizzard used to be known for its polish on games, but they missed the mark on this game. The cut scenes are no where visually impressive as they were shown to be; crashes, bugs and glitches still abound in a 16 year old game; the new rule of "you make it, we own it" kills the creative community; etc etc - The game DOES deserve allThis product is just embarrassing to the source material.     I'll say this up front. I do not own this the Reforged version of this game. That said, I DO own the original game that this particular version broke. The fact that I have to even type that is ludicrous. Normally I would agree that reviewing a game you haven't played is not a legitimate practice but when your game actually ends up breaking a separate one that you already do own, it isI'll say this up front.     First i Was happy when they have announced reforged. Then after several years there were new patches for the classic warcraft. Until then the game lived mainly from its community and the costum maps. It was a perfect game all around. But Blizzard managed to patch the game dead. Since then there are no more host bots and many custom maps doesn´t work anymore. And now my old version doesn'tFirst i Was happy when they have announced reforged.     That's one of my favorite games of all time. One of the first games i've ever played. I've been waiting this remake since it was first announced, it's so sad to the the current state fo this game and all lies Blizzard told us.

    Pre Purchased on day and date in 2018 when the option was available, how wrong I was, delayed to fix unforeseen issues and offer a more complete overhaul which was ok at the time, then delayed again no real update given, with all the Blizzmess that 2018/2019 brought out it was, then this broken mess of a game was shovelled out the crap shoot like many other things. Issues that plagued thePre Purchased on day and date in 2018 when the option was available, how wrong I was, delayed to fix unforeseen issues and offer a more complete overhaul which was ok at the time, then delayed again no real update given, with all the Blizzmess that 2018/2019 brought out it was, then this broken mess of a game was shovelled out the crap shoot like many other things. Issues that plagued the OG game are still present after 18 years to work on them. Needless to say I will not be buying any other Blozzard titles day and date until I’ve seen what I’m getting into.     Bonitinho, mas uma péssima experiência. A partida personalizada tem lag (como?), as cinematicas do trailer foram removidas do jogo. Várias vezes ele fecha sozinho depois de estar rodando por 1h mais ou menos, sem ter opção de salvar. A campanha também fecha do nada em derrota. Péssimo.

    The score should be negative really, because this new pile of code made the existing game worse, while also carefully making sure no one is able to play the old better game in its original state. This is what you get when people that don't know anything about gaming and their community, get to call the shots.

    I believed them when they said "Warcraft® III: Reforged™ is a complete reimagining of a real-time strategy classic. Experience the epic origin stories of Warcraft, now more stunning and evocative than ever before."... and I was a fool to do so, they've been letting the ball drop year after year... you'd think they learned not to **** up this bad when the Diablo Mobile was announced on Blizzcon.. but nope.

    What they learned was: People forget, and as long as they keep forgetting, we'll keep on profitting at their expense.

    There's no 'reimagining' of anything in this game, it's Warcraft III from 20 years ago with a new face paint. I do understand that people can be skeptic while changing the gameplay, I really do, but instead of creating new animations, giving them a new variety of skins, improving the cinematics and etc.. they settled for "Lets give them new models.. and push back a month so we can pretend we were working on other stuff as well so the fanbase don't lash out as hard as we think they will when they see this awful mess we made here."

    Welp, you dun' F# up Activision Blizzard, you advertised something that was false, delivered another buggy and experience, one that continuously crashes, you broke the multiplayer servers, you changed you TOS in order to safeguard yourself against the next DOTA (saying that you OWN any of the maps and the ideas behind them no matter who created them). Not only that, people whom owned WC3 and didn't want to update were forced to swallow these changes. Having options such as SHADOWS removed.

    You don't have a "0" game, the game is a rudimentary 6-7 because you messed up and made a buggy creation, but your M.O .. your scummy attitude make it be a "0" game. If they fix this mess I will change this review, but I doubt there's any salvaging from this situation at this point, after all.. Blizzard is no longer Blizzard... it's Activision Blizzard.    … Expand

    For months I promised my son the game would come and that we would play it together each night and grow our relationship. Then it was released in this state and my son looked me in the eyes and called me a liar because the game is nothing like the advertisements and videos we watched together . The last words he said to me were “ I hate you” as he and my wife drove away.

Even the WoW scene was largely a great success. To think that they would wind up like this is a damn shame.     Only played multiplayer. I have to quit the game about twice an hour because the client freezes up and there is now way to recover it. Custom games do not work at all. Mainly interested in that. uh and all the multiplayer games are lagging 1 second lag on every action. this was for about seven days before launch and release of the full game didnt fix anything. issues abound it is still aOnly played multiplayer.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Going from work at night, I imagined how I cut out the stratholme, did not go to bed until 2, to start the preload, I got up at 8. I start and feel that something is not right, the remaster cannot put it on the menu, but it turned out maybe, well, I’m launching an alliance campaign and at the cinematic stage, the first bells appear, the voice actor Minetila doesn’t hit her lips (there’s no lip-link), and after him it all started and I see **** bald patches on the sides of the screen, I remember demo 18 with a normal interface and I already feel the **** up, but in the game itself it’s not all so terrible with FPS. And now I'm ready to save the **** Timmy again, but the game counts my defeat out of the blue. Gritting my teeth, I get to the defensive mission for half an hour and the Vietnamese flashbacks again make themselves felt. And now, at 25 minutes, I understand that the mission is very easy compared to the regular version, but the game decided differently and failed the mission with nothing, blazing like Ragnaros, I finally got to the evil-minded stratholme and the mission specifically degraded compared to the original . Having filled 100 villagers, I watch the cutscene and the game crashes. Blowing all the progress to the dicks.
    I did not swear so long ago. It was very lamp, to get together in the Second World War classic after so much time and from reforging, I wanted the same feeling, but I got it, but you all know what I got    … Expand

    I created this account and made this review in the hopes that we can get the review score all the way down to 0.1, or even 0.0 best case scenario.
    In my wildest dreams I see a return to the Blizzard of ages past, without all the BS.
    Even if the score doesn't reach quite that low, even if it doesn't make the Blizzard that gifted the world Warcraft 3 Classic, I can still dream.     Shouldnt have new bugs and performance issues in a 10 year old game. Also could have at least left the old game on its own infrastructure instead of breaking something that worked fine.

    I don't recommend buying it and if you did don't forget to refund as this degenerated version of warcraft 3 shouldn't be allowed to exist or supported in the first place. You can just hope that future patches make it atleast enjoyable for the remaining 100 players.

Me atrevo a decir que no han implementado nada de lo que prometieron, lo único que han hecho es es retocarlo todo lo mínimo posible para que no sea posible denunciarles y poco mas. Una pena, creo que lo tenían demasiado fácil y le han fallado a su comunidad. Os recomiendo hacer refund a modo de crítica.

    There are several major features outright removed in Reforged or simply not functioning because it’s in a buggy state including player profiles, ladder system and custom campaigns. The updated EULA also discourages map makers and modders to participate in making content for Reforged. The map textures are horrendous compared to the original game, the models are on par with Raid: Shadowlegends, this does not in any way feel like a homage to legendary classic Warcraft 3. Rather it feels like a slap in the face to Warcraft fans.

    If they didn’t ruin the original version of the game by merging the old client with this bug infested one, many people would not be complaining as much or refunding. I wouldn’t be complaining if they didn’t touch the original WC3 client. The issue is that they took out features from the original, released an unfinished product and downgraded classic WC3. Not even Bethesda was foolhardy enough to tamper with the original Skyrim when they released the special edition.

    This is an unmitigated disaster of a game, the developer "update" shows only the incompetency of the dev team leading this project further into the gutter. Rather than adding back basic features, fixing cutscenes and restoring the original client of WC3 they have doubled down on their justification for this mess of a game. I will no longer be supporting Blizzard games due to this disaster, you've ruined the game I enjoyed for most of my childhood. Reflect on what made the original WC3 a 9.2 user score and 92/100 critic score and how you've ended up as the worst rated game in history.

    PS : Ma nostalgie me poussait à mettre 1 en note, mais c'est cette dernière qui m'a également poussée a dépenser 30€. Je ne vais pas faire la même erreur. La note 0 est plus proche du réel.    … Expand

    Sold Blizzard Activision stock (ticker ATVI) as well as my gaming-related ETFs and asked my family to do the same based on not only their support of the Chinese Communist Party but on this disastrous remake. Blizzard has lost its way and they will only change if they take a financial hit.

    Buggy mess! Maps are changed and no they are not better. Maps lack the features that the old game had, menu is a mess and somehow the resolution is worse in the menu. Cut scenes, custom game , crashes in short disgrace to the old game...!

    I have never played Warcraft III before Reforgedr and thought that hey, this is as good of a chance as any to try such a classic. But now all I get is trash, and I won't ever be able to experience the true game people loved so much. I have lost a lifetime opportunity, and the new Blizzard is to blame : (

    My favorite movie ever is Twilight, the saga. I really enjoy watching love stories that also have some action and special effects.     Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
