    Laughable effort put into the update. Glitchy. Very few new features. Not only did they take something great and make it worse, they also took away the ability to just play the old game. Absolutely ruined a classic. Waited for this for a long time, couldn't be more disappointed.

    Blizzards remake to one of the best games ever Created is a complete Failure in all categories.
    They managed to erase the original as well, and with it, they Wiped out its Veteran Community.
    That is unheard of in Gaming History and by itself sets a new record low for the whole Industry. There is not a single good thing about it. None. Every promised upgrade was cut in development. It    Blizzards remake to one of the best games ever Created is a complete Failure in all categories.

    Blizzard effectively murdered a 17yo game and replaced it with an unfinished steaming pile of **** constantly crashes and locks up even when using the original version which had no issues whatsoever, can't play custom games without threats of being permabanned, can't make custom games without all of your rights being stolen from you, just a major disappointment.     I would look forward to logging onto wc3 occasionally and playing some scenario and custom games this game has been a part of my life since childhood, now I can't even play this game for recreational purposes. I feel you not only gave me a bad reforged, but are currently robbing me of the original game I loved and paid for.

Maybe they could go back to making actual good games that way, till then I hope people see the truth of money grubbing ruining game development and don't buy this game until its fixed!

    I gave the game a 0 rating like the others, but only because I could not get it running at all. Now I played it and it actually runs smooth. It is not that bad at all. So, Blizzard, you did bad, but not as bad as the rating shows.

    I didn't even bough WC3: Reforged, but even without purschase it ruined my WC3 TFT O_o
    I ran WC3, it requested an update. After the update it became necessary to run and update the BattleNet desktop app. When I finally got into the game, it requested to log in in the BattleNet O_o I tryed 10 times, but it cannot connect to the server. What the hell is going on here? O_o One more thing: my    I didn't even bough WC3: Reforged, but even without purschase it ruined my WC3 TFT O_o

    Game fails to launch and I can't even play it. (Specs: i5 8400, 16GB DDR4 Ram, AMD RX580)
    Refund was rejected by Blizzard and no specific reason was given except that I must go report the bugs and that the purchase was final.

How can a company release a beloved game in such a bad state. My first Blizzard game was Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos. I loved the campaign, after all this years I thought i could relive that moment with polished UI, Graphics,Reforged released in an awful state, key features are missing.     Well this game didn't hold up to standard but at least we all have Starcraft 2 and Broodwar! Starcraft has always been the best blizzard franchise anyways.

    Double dipping on a classic. trying to cash in on nostalgia with broken promises and an incredibly low effort remake of a classic. And because of their missteps around DotA you HAVE to sign away all of your rights in perpetuity so they can cash in on anything you make. With no opportunity for a refund save money and just buy the original, it's a better game anyway.

    I was lucky to get this item refunded, but they won't refund it to anything except my debit card that is no longer active. Still better than having blizzard have my money for this horrible cash crab. Do not buy this game, it's an insult to the original and the quality that was put into it.

    They have successfully ruined a game i grew up loving. There was literally nothing wrong with Warcraft 3 and it was something that was being streamed all these years later. How they did this is beyond me. We have been lied to. DO NOT BUY WARCRAFT 3 REFORGED. I will never support Blizzard/Activision. The passion, love, art, story, and gameplay behind what Blizzard used to represent is dead.

    Very disappointing we didn't got what they promised in the trailers and removed some stuff from the old game like ladder , clans and it's just like the old Warcraft the only difference is they remodel the units and the heroes that's it so I recommend not buying the game because it's not worth your money .

    Version graphic's and cinematic's are not as advertised and the new TOS has ruined the modding community anything you create "Activision Blizzard" owns everything and you get nothing and mods what they find inappropriate will result in actions taken against your account.
    I'm trying to refund my game I doubt I will be successful, 3 days and not even one reply from them.

I wasn't too huge of a fan of the HotS-style graphics update, but understood that that is the direction their art department is going in general (to match the WoW stuff they're doing) so fine - I can deal. Regardless, they kept saying that the engine itself wasn't being changed (which is very important as aI, like many others, pre-ordered this game after the Blizzcon 2018 announcement. I wasn't too huge of a fan of the HotS-style graphics update, but understood that that is the direction their art department is going in general (to match the WoW stuff they're doing) so fine - I can deal. Regardless, they kept saying that the engine itself wasn't being changed (which is very important as a "function over form" person) and they were even going to add new in-game cinematics (like the Culling of Stratholme trailer shown at Blizzcon [that's still up on their website as of writing this]). Great! Hey, even adding some new UI features to modernize a 17 year old game with QoL improvements is fine with me.

    Then this game released. After crashing to desktop multiple times while going through the Orc Prologue missions, having the game freeze up then catch up really quickly (including other frame drops), and not saving my progress properly when trying to close/restart the game... I was finally getting through the campaign - the campaign that solidified myself as a Warcraft mega-fan (loved OvH and ToD/BtDP but RoC/TFT are simply splendid). And I immediately noticed the animation fidelity wasn't the same. The way the characters move (or don't move) was jarring. Everything felt "off" when instead this should be a triumph of Blizzard's maturity as a development studio, right?

    Examples: there's an Interlude where The Prophet calls upon Arthas to lead his people West and in the original game you see Arthas' head track the Raven as he flies by, in Reforged Arthas just stands there as if in T-pose. It's quite honestly pathetic. Speaking of the Prophet, when he transforms into the Raven and vice versa, there is no effect that plays. There is no metamorphosis animation. It simply model-replaces after enlarging/shrinking accordingly. Again, utterly pathetic.

    I could go on with how many little things they just completely missed with this game but you probably get the idea. I mentioned some of these (as well as all of the performance issues I had) to Blizzard and got my refund. This is not something I can support.

    None of any of the above even begins to describe the issues many are taking with the updated ToS. Nor the lack of clan support, a ladder, tournaments, and complete removal of the original games' ability to be played (now the "Classic" versions of RoC and TFT *must* be played through the Reforged client). This is a tremendous failure from a company that should honestly know better. Shame on Blizzard.

    Shame on the art department for letting lore-breaking models slip through (human ears on Naga, ffs). Shame on the animators for their inability to recreate iconic moments from the original game with the updated graphics. Shame on the systems engineers for breaking their flawlessly running game somehow with massive frame drops and crashes. Shame on the leadership for getting rid of the new in-game cinematics (that, again, are still being advertised as a selling point on their website as of writing this - how is this not class-actionable?). Shame on Activision-Blizzard.    … Expand

    Compre la version premium, tengo un i7 9700k, una 2080, 32gb de ram y sigue dando tirones en la campaña, ademas que el juego baja a 20 fps en ocaciones. No me puedo creer que arruinaron un gran juego ya que la version clasica tambien fue modificada.     You couldn't expect scammy attitude towards its fans from such high level gaming company.
    The game doesn't provide any previously advertised features and on top of that it is buggy and completely broken.

    Just created MC account to show middle finger to the Blizzard. I have ordered W3 reforged in preorder due to my love to this fantastic RTS. Unfortunately again you can see that nowadays Blizzard it's just a shadow of itself. Fusion with Activision was worst thing they could do to the gamers.     Ruined my childhood game which I spent years playing it. I used to create maps just to play with my Friends but still imaginening one day it will get popular and I will be making new games for life :) taking this from new gen I just a bad PR

    I have the game since 2002. I loved it. It took 3gb in my hard drive.
    they destroyed the game. is barely playable.
    *can't play it without installing a 30gb patch with 4k textures of which i don't care.
    * animations are cut in half,
    *lots of maps have been banned.
    *no ladder or competitive games
    *even official tournaments CRASH!!
    . Not going to give money to this crap. Stay away ☹️

    Just a dumb down version that does not hold a candle to the original it looks blizzard we knew and loved is dead, no polish no love or care was put into this it just looks horrible.

    После провальнейшего начала, метелица начала исправлять ошибки. Так что надеюсь в недалеком будущем эта игра сможет полностью заменить классический Warcraft 3!

    New graphic style is so bad and it completely goes away from the style that made warcraft so unique. I am long time fan, i played from warcraft 1 so its over 20 years of experience. Really dissapointed. Blizzard you have only become memory of something that was nice.

    Fake advertisement!!! Where the promised new feature, no mod allowed, no new cut scene.
    Never again buy anything from blizzard again. They now are just lazy, money grabbing, corrupt company.

    Crashing a lot campaign is hard to play with insta defeat crashes in multilayer ever all it feels like down grade not a remaster or reforged game

    They robed me from my child memories, and my hopes of playing modern version of Warcraft 3. They even not let me play original warcraft 3! They force me to go to the noble man from Pirate Bay! This is an outrage! This is not company of my childhood!

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I really had high hopes for this game. I really did. But after seeing what they did with it, i would prefer this game had ever come to the reality.
    First of all this is a game from my adolescence, i had really great moments with it, and until a few days ago i countinued playing it (custom maps were awesome, custom campaigns, repeat the normal campaign over and over again...)
    But today that game has died to me. I can't even play the classic game anymore, all my files, everything, lost. BLIZZARD has deceided that if you install the last patch (even if you don't have reforged) they STEAL from you the game, you are not allowed anymore to play it.
    Besides all of this this game is not what the promised. Where are the remastered cutscenes? (they even cut the scene they showed in the blizzcon!!), awefull UI, bugs that where in the classic are still here even new bugs! everything about this game is terrible and shouldn't ever ever have seen the light.
    Oh! and i can't ask for a refund even if they literally lie to all of us, because in the moment you click the button play, you are doomed.

    A complete mess. A complete money grab. In any other industry, this would be considered false advertising and I hope this spells the end for Blizzard. They've been **** on gamers ever since the Activision takeover.

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
