    very disappointed with this delayed & overpriced mess, i just wanted to play a simple custom game like i used to with the classic version but i couldn't its awful what they did with this product, i've lost all faith in blizzard

    Why do we keep getting ripped off with games released as unfinished, unpolished and lackluster just so the company can get an easy cash grab?

    Its so ridiculous a company like Blizzard can let this abomination of a remake of one of the BEST RTS's in the day as it is now.

    WHY? How do you guys at the top sleep at night knowing that you are ripping innocent hard work people of their money so they can have a bit of nostalgic escapism from our miserable lives. We get shafted in the real world with poor pay and crappy jobs and games are a portal for a comfort zone.

    More and more huge company's like yourself and cough cough.. 16 TIMES THE DETAIL

    Long gone are the days of Blizzard North and the teams involved that loved to play games and loved to please their fans. This is an atrocity and I never thought I would see a game reach .6... but it looks like it's about to happen

    I installed WC3 using my original discs just to see how badly they butchered the original game for those who did not buy reforged. It's bad. Trying to get onto Bnet required a 30 gb patch, which was just a sham way to get you to use blizzard launcher and onto the Reforged platform with basic graphics. Tons of classic WC3 features are removed. Clans, Ladder, Custom Games are all broken. TheI installed WC3 using my original discs just to see how badly they butchered the original game for those who did not buy reforged. It's bad. Trying to get onto Bnet required a 30 gb patch, which was just a sham way to get you to use blizzard launcher and onto the Reforged platform with basic graphics. Tons of classic WC3 features are removed. Clans, Ladder, Custom Games are all broken. The iconic background with Icecrown is gone, there's no way to pick and choose campaigns now, you have to do them one by one. There's massive stability issues and glitches everywhere. Blizzard ruining the game for original WC3 players is why they deserve the lowest score possible. A solid 0, not because Wc3 isn't a good game, but because their "Reforged" broke and worsened what was once a great game by making it mostly unplayable (especially true for custom game modes).… Expand

    18 years of waiting for a reforged game that is considered one of the icons of video games for Blizzard with all the current technology to develop a game worse than the old... This is a refurbished game, not a reforged. Rest in peace Blizzard.

    This is a tragedy and I fear it is the death knell for Warcraft. The graphics feel half-complete - higher resolution, sure, but the older style was stylised well so didn't feel outdated. The cutscenes are just the ones you had in the original Warcraft 3.     Don't usually bother to go out of my way to do reviews but this one needs it. Almost everything promised isn't present in this the only thing was the updated models thats it. from the custom game clause to steal maps to the missing cut scenes, texture and model problems, fps drops , and everything else. It's honestly just sad to see blizz like this.

    Can't believe that they downgraded, Hope they do fix this. To me blizzard started to go downhill when Jay wilson showed off Diablo 3 the barbarian gameplay in the dungeon and when it game out it looked like a totally different game from what they showed off from blizzcon. Like when they are doing with warcraft 3 reforged with the cut scenes etc.

    Let Blizzard burn, they don't deserve money or sympathy anymore. They're just a hollow shell of what they used to be. Nothing but lies upfront to secure their money to forge another lie. So much is missing, removed or just flat out broken with WC3: Reforged. Save your money. If you want a good remaster, go try the remastered Age of Empires instead.

The game was already amazing, all they had to do was polish. I like the new graphics on low but they are so close at the point that what was it worth all the effort for? UI is still huge and overbearing and thats whatI LOVE WC3. One of my favorite games. This game missed the mark so hard. No cinematic rework, superbuggy. No ladder or profile viewing.     When we get the game we never recognised the gameplay we loved. It is more like comedy parody .

    Literally gutted my childhood and the old infrastructure. You cant even go back to the original. They added new skins and cut half the functionality. They released a half finished game. Blizzard is dead. D4 will be trash. The whole studio is a disappointment.

Hopefully they will add something what could bring players tot his version back like add csmpaign with rexxar, for example story how he get to outland or something.... Виноваты в этом сами Blizzard, но при этом вина их не столько в неумении или нежелании сделать хорошую игру, сколько в жестко установленных (ими самими или же боссами из Activision) временных рамках. Перенос даты релиза на январь – это правильное решение, вот только переносить нужно было не на 2020, а на 2021-ый год. Уверены, что старые Blizzard так и сделали бы. Уверены, что Blizzard современные так сделать просто-напросто не могут.… Expand

    Have now lost all trust in Blizzard. Never going to prepurchase a game from them again. So, many things wrong with this release; removing the original war3, old gui, mixed graphics upgrades, path finder still bad, grouping still bad. Game basically looks like a first beta release and not a final release.

    3) Many old features are missing.

    They just destroyed a game I truly loved. They even run false advertising for the game as it was promised a full rework of in-game cinematics. They even previewed this and still use their "reforged" cinematic in the trailer on their webpage for the game! This is blatantly false advertising as it doesn't look even close to what we got in-game.

    On top of this they even DESTORYED THE OLD GAME! They force a download of the new files even on those who haven't bought Reforged. They removed many functions form the old game and made it a "premium" feature by requiring you to buy Reforged to have access to them (Shadows are one of them any).

    To summarize: They released an unfinished product that is nowhere close to what was promised and marketed to the community and they managed to destroy an old product who was perfect. Thanks Blizzard. I got a refund and I sincerely hope the rest of you do as well.    … Expand

    Warcraft 3 was my childhood game for the longest time and grew on me for the longest time. It's sad to see that a game that I once cherished is now a hard cold shell of its former self. Graphics doesn't make a game better, it's the heart of the game that brings it to life.     The game is absolute trash. They destroyed a 17 year masterpiece in a matter of days. The promised better visuals, more voice lines and better cinematics ingame were all but promotional purposes only. What also makes it worse is the bad servers and the change in their EULA, which means all custom games you or anyone has made belongs to them.

    Very disappointed both by the game and by Blizzard's behavior. Not only did they manage to fail the remaster, they also completely destroyed the original game in the same move, while adding some ridiculous terms of use, and refusing any refund request.

    This is NOT how you make video games Blizzard.

    If you are in any way interested in Warcraft III - play the original, it's all over the internet, pretty sure you can find on pirate bay. It's still holds up as a singleplayer game. If you want multiplayer, the original client supports lan, so you can use any virtual network (like Hamachi), to play with your friends. Don't be fooled like I was by all the promises Blizzard makes.     Everything they promised not delivered. I really dont like to be decived and that game just broke all boundries. Total disapointment. I just wanted to relive memories od the best campain ever but its just unplayable. Response time is stupidest thing i ever saw, but even that is not as bad as units movement.

    What isnt arguable at all is the fact, that activision managed to not only cut off promised features and new content but also removed essential features in the battle.net as well as lan support.

    And if you think thats enough of screwing their long year customers you are damn wrong, because activision decided to remove the ability to even download the classic tft client and enjoy an actual playable game, which means that people are either stuck on 1.27 or play this piece of gargabe remaster which isnt worth a single penny in my eyes.

    This game is so broken, the UI is a stupid huge downgrade, the textures are looking washed out. The whole models look stupid when moving and the whole charm the game had is mostly gone.

    This is the last game i ever bought from activision / blizzard or lets say i havent technically bought since i got a refund for my money but unrfortunately not for my wasted lifetime.    … Expand

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
