    I would have paid double the price and not complained for the exact same game/UI/Voice acting with enhanced graphics.
    How can you mess a main menu this badly when 18 years ago you had a decent and fonctional one? Why can't you switch to the original voices even though you can play with the original graphics?

    How come 2020 cutscenes lack the spirit and energy of a 2002 game?

    Or maybe the fact that Holy Light and Hold position are bound to the same key?
    How about units not answering when you click on them making you believe you muted your game?
    Maybe I should mention the campaign loading screens that ironically don't load properly?

    I was really excited when they first announced the game. War3 accompanied me throughout my childhood and I pre-purchased it as soon as I could. However, the release is a total disaster and I am worried the reforged version will kill this legendary game I have liked for 15 years :(

They actually stole money from long term fans by false promising and    I think all the terrible missteps Blizzard made with this release has been listed.     Just think about this, if someone promise you something and when you recieve that is incomplete, how you will feel? this is a real example of a game under develpment, and the users will pay for that. We know this soon or later will be a great game, but this isn't correct way to do it.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This is an absolutely an amazing nostalgia trip for me, unlike WoW classic which immediately bored the crap out of me after 5 minutes. Music is improved, visuals, cinematics, etc. This is exactly what I expected and it was delivered. On the 3rd missions in the campaign and already addicted just as I was when the game originally released. You know you have another gem when you can't turn off the game even after mythic/LFR Ny'alotha come out on the same day! Way to go Blizz!!!! Now all we can hope for is Warcraft 4 and a great new storyline. I CANNOT wait to get to the frozen throne expansion already!!!!! Almost 70 missions of single player content and can't wait to try some multiplayer after I'm done with the campaign. This is awesome. NO ONE does RTS like Blizzard.… Expand

    They delivered a terrible product. I preordered this game and what they showed on their reveal in 2018. is a completely different game than the one we got in 2020. The cutscenes look way worse, the FPS is terrible and many other features were cut.

    What exactly did Blizzard thing with this game? It is neither a decent remake, nor a good successor. I feel bad for all people that pre-ordered on false promises and hopes and are being denied refunds. Even the f'ing cut-scenes have been neutered from a months old demo, where did they go?

    Huge fan of the original. A company like Blizzard should not be allowed to deliver this. It deserves all the backlash they're getting. Doesn't properly support ultra wide on full screen. You need to play it in windowed mode. Feels sluggish, the animations are bad. Playing the original gives a much better experience. Don't allow them to get away with this. They'll do it again.

    I loved the original Warcraft 3 game. I do understand why would they want to merge original game and Reforged one.. but if the game you are trying to reforge (and merge) is so well loved by players, WHY make so many terrible changes to it? And on top of that cut the planned changes that would/could make the the game actually better? The person who approved of those cuts needs to be fired :)

    I did not research enough about the shape the game was in and pre-ordered the game (that is on me).
    At release ignored every release or news, I was reading the main page while waiting to install. Most important thing on the website (on release day) for me was 4 hours of new cinematics. The opening cinematic started and I    No cursing or fake rage, I bought this game for Single player & Mods.
    I did not research enough about the shape the game was in and pre-ordered the game (that is on me).
    At release ignored every release or news, I was reading the main page while waiting to install.
    Most important thing on the website (on release day) for me was 4 hours of new cinematics.
    The opening cinematic started and I was impressed with the changes, still not have read anything about the game.

    Here ended the so called reforge changes, no new UI, No 4 Hours new cinematics, Not the same style of ingame cinematics they showed in 2018.

    I have a 2080 GTX TI and could run the game with now issues 4K 60FPS, but the ingame cinematics are locked on 20-25 fps, it is just not acceptable. I started to research how to fix that issue and then for the first time saw what Blizzard truly has done.

    I read about the mods and what they were planning, disgusting. I have the fondest memories from the game MODs, playing with friends at LAN parties, early 2000ends. Only good thing come out of this was that they refund my pre-order.
    Blizzard is done, and to be honest it was like this for while now. I would never pre-order anything from them and they can not fool us with some shiny Diablo IV teasers.

    They should just change the name to Activision and be done with it. Blizzard is DEAD.    … Expand

    I agree with several comments that I wish I could have paid them to not release the game because what we have is a worse version than that which I had 17 years ago. It's a sad day made sadder by their pathetic non-apology, going as far as somehow 'blaming' the gamers for why they haven't made the changes they showed us at E3 2018.

Ложь во всем. Начиная с БлизКона и заканчивая выходом самой игры. Вероятно решили побадаться с Говардом, кто лучше "плюнет" в фанатов. Что-ж, судя по рейтингам, им это удалось на славу. Если-же подобное отношение к фанатам будет и дальше - то компанию Близард можно считать официально умершей....

    They broke all of the custom maps, added 50,000 new bugs to the game and messed up the colours even for the reign of chaos version, if you actually buy the remaster all you get is some Malaysian outsourced models, the whole thing is garbage and a downgrade to a great game released in 2002.

    It's total disappointment. Missing features advertised before release date, new models with old laggy animations and textures not matching world, CUT FEATURES FROM ORIGINAL VERSION just to make it compatible with Reforged... That's a shame, it's not the game I've been waiting for.

    Their advertisement videos are lies, they have not remade cut scenes. They also removed the old Warcraft 3. Disgraceful.

    Amazing game!
    Trailers that were demonstrated before and the game trailers and other things 146% match. The game meets all my expectations and I can recommend this game only my worst opponents.
    Thank you, Blizzard, you can do what others cant. Keep going that way, hope to hear from you and from your amazing projects soon!

    My disappointment is so massive I made a metacritic account just to review this.
    Stop to make game juste for more and more money, the new one is not better at all....

    I'm putting 2, not 0, because Blizzard's offering a refund, which is still good thinking

Not buying another blizzard game for the rest of my life, with the amount of other good games out there , there is no reason we should be rewarding these ungrateful lazy commies.

This remaster (or reforged or whatever) is like having a water leak in your bathroom : everything was perfect before and you didn’t ask for anything but now, you’re stuck with a broken shower and a big ugly strain on your ceiling downstairs.     No reforged cinematics (Illidan versus Arthas is a draft). Pure lie by Blizzard and still on their website. No additions but removals of old features such as ladder, tournaments, stats, profiles, etc... Custom maps are not yours anymore and you won’t get a penny if Blizzard turns your maps into official games... well, then nobody is gonna do custom map anymore... Lot of bugs everywhere.

I've learned to expect less and less as this company has become more and more like EA. I boycotted their cash grab games long ago. I am committed to doing the same with Blizzard. I had high hopes for a game I enjoyed as a kid. It certainly is not the gameSuch a disappointment. I was in shock at how poorly Blizzard performed this outing.     the reforged graphics arn't worth 30-40 €.
    Versus 4vs4 random team is horrible to play, about 50% of the games at least 1 player of your or the other team leaves or gets a disconnect.
    and at least 1-2 times a week the ping is 450+ so its unplayable.
    don't buy this game don't support blizzard anymore

    I was really looking forward to this but I am so disappointed. Unfortunately, this is in keeping with the studio that released Battle for Azeroth and will release Diablo Immortal someday.

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
