After a few updates, it got unplayable. There are some overpowered tanks that one-shot you no matter what tank you have and also everything got much more harder to achieve. So this is why I rated on 0. I don't recommend downloading it.… Expand

    As tank simulator you'd better never start playing this **** Forget mighty Tiger, soviet t-34-85 will oneshot you from any side, but you will not with your 88mm. If you not donate for premium acc - prepair to get a lot of pain in battles with tougher tanks you just not able to penetrate their armor.

    I have well over 1000 hours of War Thunder played. I have been playing this game since it had aircraft only, for so many years, but I eventually had to stop. Gaijin intentionally ruins their economy and punishes players for just playing the game, so paying is pretty much mandatory. They have now removed folders in the tech tree so players have to grind more, and they have increased repairI have well over 1000 hours of War Thunder played. War Thunder has one of the most aggressive monetisation systems I've seen in a F2P game.

    Outside of that, balance is non-existent, things are kept overpowered intentionally so players pay to grind them and are then nerfed, some tiers are borderline unplayable, so are some poorly balanced nations, and so is the whole of naval. Powercreep happens constantly, particularly at higher tiers.

    And this is just the short of it. This game is not worth anyone's time. Don't play it. And, by the way, like every single time one of these community outrages happen, Gaijin will probably end up throwing a bone at the playerbase without fixing any of the game's issues. Don't fall for it. We at least need a serious change and a complete economy overhaul.    … Expand

    If you like planes - go play IL-2 Sturmovik Great Battles, if you like tanks - go play IL2 Sturmovik Tank Crew, if you like ships - go play World of Warships (yeah ships in wt really sucks, just some boats with machineguns - really fun).

    But wait, there is more, you can get two-shooted, they shoot at your driver, you can't scape :). They shoot at your gunner, you can't even defend yourself :) and at that moment you just have to accept your death.
    This game could be the wet dream of a Call of Duty camper, but it's not, because is bad.

    You want another OP high tier vehicle for yourself in order to win matches easily without paying money? Well, **** you, play and grind for one hundred years to achieve it.

    Gaijin thinks that we are slaves of Research Points or what?
    If you don't have any boost on your account you will gain 700RP per match at max (if you are one of the best of your team)

    This game is also VEEERY boring and slow.

    Campaigns are the worst joke: cutscene, go to a place, cutscene, shoot some planes, cutscene, go back and land the plane. THANK GOD YOU CAN SKIP CUTSCENES.

    Don't waste your time, it's all about arcade mode, not very realistic, super buggy and glitchy, tanks appearing out of know where when they should have been visible, hits not registering, full of hackers and cheaters, please don't bother with this game it's complete garbage. Also if you post any kind of criticism in the forums they just delete it and if you persist they delete your account.

The greedy developers ruined the economy and charged too much for repair costs in a pathetic attempt to get players to buy MTX. I've deleted it back in early June, but I've decided to give it another chance after the developers claimed they will be improving the economy.     Played since 2013 and the game used to be fun until arround mid 2015. Then it just went downhill. **** up of plane hit registry, insane grind, adding stuff instead of fixing it. Not recommended, stay away from this.

    I used to love this game,, great graphics and realistic aircraft and good dog fights.. but some how its become a game called Pilot knocked out coz thats all that happens,, its like a game with a constant bug. Game play is ruined by unrealistic kills and you spend most of the time just trying to fly to the enemy. Pointless. was once a good game and now belongs in the dustbin of annoyance.

Снаряды пролетают под землей (и килл кам даже не стесняется это показывать), турбо бои которых даже картоха не видывала, клиент постоянно вылетает во время боя. Очень жалею, что потратил на это уныние время и деньги. ЕслиДонатная помойка в которой разрабы не могут починить ничего, они могут только сломать то что работало.     Нерфить доходность техники, повышать стоимость ремонта техники, называя это все ребалансом экономики.
    В игре и так после 5 ранга не возможно играть не донатя в игру, игра тебя начинает наказывать за ошибки в бою высокой стоимостью ремонта которая скрыта от игрока (на некоторой техники цена ремонта настолько высока даже за хороший бой ты в лучшем    Жадность разработчиков не знает границ

    Даже играя с премиум техникой и прем аккаутом чтоб прокачать технику 6-8 уходит безумное количество времени что приводит к тому что в бою у людей есть только один два респа и игра скатывается в унылую дичь где по гигантской карте катается 3.5 инвалида.
    Так же разработчики забивают на баланс техники в особенности если они находятся в не популярных ветках и не стремятся ее исправлять.
    На хайрангах появляются новые проблемы это стоимость штурмовки заходит просто за космическую стоимость при этом зенитка которая способна ее сбивать стоит 70 очков и из за механики игры банально самолеты отрисовываются значительно раньше чем наземная техника, так же кривые лоды из за которых техника для самолетов проваливается под землю.
    так что ПОШЛИ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ГАЙЖИНЫ    … Expand

    Graphics are 10 years behind today's requirements. Get modern tanks is impossible. I’ve been playing for more than four years, but didn’t even reach the t-55! Thousands of fights have passed. It takes 15 years to get to the Abrams or t-90. This not normal. The game has become inaccessible to ordinary users, has become a closed club of several hundred especially gifted.

    I did not like the fact that modern tanks are inaccessible - for example, the Leopard or Abrams tank. It is impossible to get similar armored vehicles without investing money. This is disrespectful to the players. Too high computer requirements for graphics, which leaves much to be desired.

    Everything revolves on gold eagles, customization and such. but the worse part are the following

    game mechanics: there are some maps that are destructible and some that are not. you gotta figure that out while playing the game, no warning whatsoever.

    sometimes a teammate can die in front of you and you won't be able to shoot, but the enemy can clearly shoot through the tank.

    sometimes the matchmaking is disgustingly bad. you could be in a battle rating of 4, for example, and it will up-tier you to a BR of 5, now its nearly impossible to destroy 5 BR tanks , makes you feel you can a toy gun.

    if any of that wasn't as bad, the game sometimes will glitch the Audio, or worse yet, glitch the video and make it a living hell for that round. this is unacceptable for a game that old.    … Expand

    LET THEM KNOW. 0 for camouflage decorations that hide turret, hull armor and weak spots. These cosmetics turn the game into garbage.

    I have played for awhile the game in it's current state is just not fun unless you're playing German Ground battle wise Air battles are fun but really limited in satisfaction leading to be just a deathwatch. The content added won't be anything the majority of players will ever see due the grind. World war is also just terrible a mix of arcade markers and Realistic battle mechanics leading to an awkward sit and click play. I never liked Arcade battles due to it pretty much being hit w right click and shoot but it's the mode pretty much you're forced to play due to how little you get for rewards after tier III. The community absolutely dismisses the dump of complaints due to usually the people that drop massive amounts of money into this game have a weird lost profit fallacy so valid complaints are dismissed by the majority of people on the forums. There's really nothing left to just have fun it's just repetitive frustration or you feel like the game is too easy depending on your vehicle. Ultimately if you're a hardcore player it will be a chore if you're casual it won't be fun so what's the point of even playing a game with amazing penetration system with no way to have fun with it. 1 star because the developers somehow turned a fantastic game into just a boring mess with no redeeming qualities left.… Expand

    The official launch of War Thunder reminded me why I like this game so much. It's adorably chaotic - in contrast to the reliably designed World of Tanks. That's why it can be really fun and frustrating at the same time. There's tons of great vehicles (and the planes are superb!) and a difficult simulation mode, but there are also balance and technical issues.
