I had to check out this game since I love everything about Harvest Moon-esque farming simulators. Unfortunately the game falls flat. Let'sI had to check out this game since I love everything about Harvest Moon-esque farming simulators. Unfortunately the game falls flat. Let's start with the most obvious: The visuals. I personally dislike them heavily, a lot of the assets such as plants are copy pasted or mirrored, character models in the game look very bad, perspectives are wrong and look at times comically bad (especially houses). I liked the sprites used in dialogues though. The Pacing in this game is completely off too, you get thrown into the game with way too much unlocked, a lot of cosmetic items. Recipes for example are already unlocked from the start, progression in general feels bad and not carefully placed like in Startdew. Items in this game sometimes just get teleported into your fridge such as fish and crops and a lot of items are poorly implemented or uninspired. You will find yourself picking up "blue flower", "red flower", "yellow flower". That is literally what they named them. The game has barely any animations, actions aren't animated at all. Chopping wood will simply show an Axe symbol, breaking rocks a hammer symbol and so on, nothing is animated. Inventory management is intuitive and mobile-esque with an action wheel and no precise options. The map itself is one huge speck of land with no love for detail or areas whatsoever, a shame. Same goes for the "map", which is just a radar with some hotspots and no actual map. The farming and mining system is very basic, cowclicker like. The is some strategy in splicing and combining seeds but it is unfortunately poorly explained (such as what quality means), how stacking works etc. The sound design is pretty.. dull. The dialogue is passable however isn't really adjusted to reflect a characters personal tone. Overall I was hugely disappointed in almost all aspects.

tldr; Poor aesthetics, missing animations, sound design non existent, bad pacing and balance, mediocre dialogue and characters, dull gameplay, world uninspired with no love for detail. Overall a pass, even for diehard fans of the genre.
