The game isA village silumator, close to Banished, Craft the World, Dwarven Fortress, with crafting and simple combat and diplomacy. The game is generally bad, with its presentation being the weakest point.

    The good:
    - there are quite some things you can gather and craft, and overall the game is based on solid and tested mechanics found in other games like Banished. Though it's much easier

    The so-so:
    - there is a tutorial which more or less guides you thru the initial steps. However, the tutorial is often hard to read because it only mentions the labels of the buttons you need to press. You will spend time looking for those buttons. It would be much better if the buttons you need to press were simply highlighted. Also, tutorial seems to go at a too fast pace, forcing you to do new stuff before you even feel more familiar with the other stuff you have just learnt

    The bad:
    - the graphics are horrendous. The villagers even have no animations whatsoever, and this makes it hard to see what they are doing
    - the GUI is generally super-ugly and looks like a temporary stub. The Arial font doesn't fit the coarse hand-drawn buttons. In fact all the graphics in this game look like stubs drawn by a programmer. Was there an artist participating in the project? If so, he really did a terrible job.
    - the controls are clumsy. Many actions require too many clicks.
    - combat is uber-simplistic and bad
    - you can't control the villagers individually (this is the problem with most games of this type), so some of the tasks you give may stay undone for a long long time. There is generally no way to prioritize a specific task (though this game gives you a tool to prioritize types of tasks, not a speicific task).

Although this game is playable, and you can call it a game, there is no reason for you to play it simply because there are several much better games around doing the same thing. Oh and btw it crashed on me after about an hour of play. No problem, faster uninstall and refund.
