   They don't make games good anymore. Yes, the controls are dated, and therefore, you will be happy for every jump you make but Tomb RaiderThey don't make games good anymore. Yes, the controls are dated, and therefore, you will be happy for every jump you make but Tomb Raider offers puzzles and exploration of well-designed levels aside from traversal. Current-date games became too easy to control to the point where they literally play themselves. The corridorization and cinematization of modern games doesn't seem to cease (prime example: God of War Ragnarök).… Expand

   Классика жанра Adventure. Хотя это не мой любимый жанр, но поиграть можно. Хотя бы из-за того, что игрока не "водят за ручку" , как вКлассика жанра Adventure. Хотя это не мой любимый жанр, но поиграть можно. Хотя бы из-за того, что игрока не "водят за ручку" , как в большинстве современных игр. Недопрыгнул 2см до уступа или забыл нажать клавишу, чтобы схватиться? Упал в ущелье. Не знаешь как решать головоломку или открыть очередную дверь? Бегай по всему уровню и ищи неоткрытые комнаты или выключатели. Не нашел? Ищи еще. Никаких тебе наводящих стрелочек, подсказок, "размышлений" героини не будет. Такой вот хардкор:) В общем игра для любителей прыгать и интересных головоломок, ну и пострелять иногда, а также увидеть пиксельную Лару в разных позах:)… Expand

Yeah, it was repetitive but mostly I enjoyed playing the game.
   
   Since it's 1996 game it is understandably dated and in some aspects it obviously didn't age well. But I can't count old graphics, clunky controls or convoluted level-design as negatives because that would be like complaining that old movies are black&white.… Expand

   Ah Dumb Raider... dont la raideur est devenue légendaire d'ailleurs, la raideur de la jouabilité pas jouable ou si peu, la raideur des arêtesAh Dumb Raider... dont la raideur est devenue légendaire d'ailleurs, la raideur de la jouabilité pas jouable ou si peu, la raideur des arêtes de la Tombe raideuse polygonée aux membres carrés et pointus, les nichons en triangle, la tête légèrement trisomique...
   
   On ne parlera pas de la version PlayStation, il ne vaut mieux pas : VGA atroce, textures en zig-zag, saccades éhontées et permanentes : injouable ! La version PC sous DOS tournait aussi comme une patate (mais beaucoup moins) et c'était bien pire en SVGA, la révolution... non, la résolution bourgeoise de l'époque...
   
   Puis la lumière vint et les Dieux du pixel inventèrent 3Dfx, le sauveur du monde PC : avec un tout petit patch, cette vilaine citrouille se transforma en carrosse rutilant à 60 im/s ! certes, le flou remplaça les gros pâtés de pixels mais on préférait les textures floues aux gros pixels qui vous regardaient droit dans les yeux !
   
   Non pas cependant que le Dumb Raider initial fût devenu jouable ou intéressant, non pas ! mais il était devenu beau et d'une fluidité parfaite. On errait toujours dans ces niveaux à la con, cherchant l'endroit où sauter (au millimètre près !) et on perdait du temps parce que ce n'était pas là qu'il fallait sauter mais là-bas... Les combats étaient d'un ridicule sans nom, faisant de ce TPS un TPS innommable et ridicule : ennemis verrouillés et de vraies éponges à balles tandis que la fille carrée saute comme un cabri et fait des triples saltos arrière et latéraux : elle se croit aux jeux olympiques, cette conne !
   
   Puis, dès le début du jeu, on tombe sur un dino, oui un dinosaure, t'entends ! putain mais ridicule ce jeu, ri-di-cu-le !! faut l'enterrer et surtout ne plus y revenir parce que ça énerve !… Expand
