Very impressed by the first Division, one of the smoothest coded games I've played, at least it ran so well on my PC. Beautiful textures, sounds, lighting, the whole atmosphere is great, a bit repetetive but cool missions as well, I think I gave it 8/10. This however is much of the same but it feels just a tad bit worse in every aspect. That the first characters you meet in a city turned upside down are 8 out of 10 women, which is very unlikely and they are extremely uninteresting, bland in looks and voiceacting. The missions feels a bit more repetetive but it could be because I didnt finish the game too long ago the first time. Graphics are still beautiful and the combat works, though the map is really ugly and unorganized. I felt that the first game had more character and atmosphere and I feel that a 6/10 is the right rating and I hope that a 3rd one is in the making.

I had 40 hours fun when I could play the game, delta-03 is still a big problem and I had to disable my antivirus before the game worked. The story is okay fun and there is alot to do, the gameplay is fun and IMO the new mod system is better then it was in the first game, I still like the old story system better where it was divided in 3 story system with the medic, tech and security.

I do wish the specialization unlocked before the endgame sins it is fun and nice to have a talent tree you can progress through.
About the endgame, I don't like it, all the work you have put into make does red marks disappear on the map, for it only to get put back on after you finished the story, and it not only 1 time it do it, it do it for every single world tier, I hate it stupid and should not be a thing.
The dark zone is meh it don't fill that important or dangerous as it did in the first game, and I never felt the need to go in there beside get some easy elite kills for projects, but it so much easyer to just redo a mission.

It is a okay game to play solo as I did, probable more fun with a friend.

    Division 1: 400 hours
    Division 2 (When I made this review): 79 hrs @ GS509

I wanted to give a fair review since most 10's in here criticize important game features but somehow it doesn't retract from a perfect score? Most 0's reviews don't give credit where credit is due.

    Pros:
Great Atmosphere, graphics, quantity of guns and gear. Plenty of loot to choose from that can be customized to excessively with mods and combinations. Plenty of world activities, especially for the first play through at tier 1. You will not be disappointed completing the base game activities. And if that is all you're interested in for 60 bucks, you will not be disappointed.

    Cons:
Pretty much everything else unfortunately (meaning the endgame). And before you jump to any conclusions I'm just hating on the game, I have a collective 479 hours total for the series, and to my knowledge im not a masochist.

    End game content is BROKEN.

Gear: As of this review, the class sets (greens) are useless and inferior to anything yellow high end gear can provided. The perks they give have marginal effects on enemies and marginal beneficial effects on players. The only way to actually be relevant is to max out DPS, and focus fully on damage, and damage alone. Defense and tech capabilities just don't do any damage. This means no customizing play styles to match different enemy types or gaming preferences. Its all about point and shoot x100000. Which isn't helped by the fact that enemies are tanky bullet sponges. You and your buddies will literally follow bosses around dumping 10 mags each into his/her's face while the boss casually runs/walks around as if they're being pelted with spitballs. This pretty much sums up all smaller enemies with health bar slight bordering on 3 mags/kill (2 mags for headshots).

With regards to weapons, the best firearms are consistently assault rifles and LMGs. Everything else, is useless save for the exception when you need a sniper to pick off a distant enemy (Which is far and few between). This becomes a frustrating and simply boring process of mindlessly shooting bullet sponges. At least in Div 1 you could try different playstyles (support/medic/assault) in order to focus on various roles. Without that, and dealing with bullet sponges, it just becomes a repetitive grindy game with no excitement in playing against AI's with the intellectual capacity of 2 brain cells (They will literally runs in circles or hop over the same piece of cover 10 times before choosing a spot)

Additionally, the lack of polish exacerbates the aformentioned flaws. There are glitches EVERYWHERE. They happen consistently enough that you'll be dealing with them every game you play. This becomes extremely annoying when fighting on challenging or heroic, where small glitches can literally cost you the mission, forcing you start lengthy segments all over again. Glitches include:

    1. Can't revive allies
    2. Getting stuck and unable to move
    3. Equipment not deploying
    4. Failure of the UI to respond to commands such as changing cover, rolling, basic movement, deploying gear.
    5. Enemies literally popping in and out of existence. One second you be alone, the next you're surround by 4 yellow health bar enemies.
    6. Unstable server connection causing: enemy rubberbanding, delayed response, general lag
    7. Enemy health bars won't respond to damage dealt, or there is some odd delay before the game registers an enemy is out of health before "killing" that enemy
    8. Game doesn't balance out factions with lower level friends. One second we'll be playing through a mission taking appropriate damage and dealing appropriate damage, the next people are getting one shotted from no where.
    9. Enemies shoot through cover. This one is extremely annoying and frequent. I have lost track of times where enemies are firing through cement, cars, roadblocks, etc while the enemy is literally pointing their weapon through the ground or the enemy is in a regular cover animation.

Generally speaking the game suffers from lack of balancing for gear (most gear and weapons are useless and there's not point in striving to obtain gearsets yet) as well as what seems to be complete lack of polish in the sever connection integrity and polish in gameplay represented by numerous/frequent glitches. 6.0-6.5 Average user rating is good representation for this games current state. I would highly suggest waiting a couple months for appropriate balancing to be implemented and cleaning up of the numerous glitches before spending hard earned money.

I love Division and still play it. Division 2 had a tough predecessor to live up to, no doubt. Initially I was impressed but the shininess has worn off. The story isn't nearly as compelling as it was in Div 1. There's far too much garbage in the world, and I know it's trying to help sell this version of DC, but honestly I get sick of running around a giant garbage dump. The story isn't nearly as compelling as it was in Div 1. There's far too much garbage in the world, and I know it's trying to help sell this version of DC, but honestly I get sick of running around a giant garbage dump. Fog, rain, weather is amazing in this game, as is shooting. Until the last update looting was decent too but since the update I haven't seen a single common or green drop, it's all blue, purple, yellow. These are supposed to be rare and rarer but now it's all just common trash loot for the most part. Completely taken the joy of getting a rare item out of the game, which I think is really an integral part of the loot shooter genre.

As for gameplay, until like level 23 the game is far too easy. What i loved about Div 1 is that it was hard but man when you finished a mission you felt amazing. I just ran through missions in this game. I barely ever died, and I'm not that good. Also, i hate that I'll do a rescue mission and like an hour later i can do it again?

Skills - i see no point at all in it. I get my drone for healing and my turret, and I don't honestly give a crap about the rest. Perks same thing, by level 15 i hate maxed them all, only ones left were those locked to level 30. So i have all these points from caches and nothing to spend them on. There's no joy here either.

Crafting/weapon mod system is better in this game. I wish they'd applied these improvements to gear mods as well.

Projects are cool. Love the settlements idea.

Overall only a 6 out of 10. Even though shooting weapons feels amazing, the world is gross and the game lacks the challenge I loved in the first one. I think the perks and skill system are bad. I think looting is broken. Shooting range challenges are a weird addition that make no sense, but then again neither does the whole premise of this game, really.

Sadly, game dropped away all rewards for missions and fortresses just because re-logging after two enemies had troubles with clipping through container which cause soft-locked game. This made me use auto-level pass which come with DLC and skipped nearly two weeks of progression. It's have not so much bugs, but some of them are game-breaking.

It's a decent looter shooter, very generic story and repetitive missions (suppose that's expected from Ubi). But the gun-play/combat is where it's at; the various abilities to use are a lot of fun and the variety of weapons makes it worth a buy (When it's on sale). There's also quite a lot of bugs, albeit not game-breaking, they are still there. Imo not worth it at the full price.

Being a long time player of The Division, it's with a heavy heart that I don't give this game a 10. Graphics suffer and are not much better than the original, this is with a Radeon Vega 56 at Ultra on 1440p. The game play seems worse, in my opinion. The added equipment options? Also Optimization sucks, especially for such visual quality, on PC it looks worse than ARK:SE on Consoles, but requires more resources to run properly than ARK:SE on Highest settings...
Shadow and Light work is very bad for 2019 game, even BDO from 2014 looks better in graphics and especially in Shadow-works.
    Reflections also suck.
particles are annoying and some battles are very eye-heavy and annoying (yes, I understand that it's subjective, and that there are people who like it, but for me it's a huge -).
Also sound is quite bleh, some weapon sound like a nailgun, but not like a weapon, also they feel like that too.
Gameplay is also bleh, not fun for me, not bad, not good, very common for modern games.
And Macrotransactions make it one more Fee to Play game, even F2P games do not do such things anymore...
It's just a very common game. 5/10 -1 for bad optimization and uninspired graphics.
So only reason to play is Pseudo-Realistic Concept and if you love grounded and uninspired games for $80.

The developers made it hard to retrieve good gear and after hundreds of hours invested in the game, they decided to nerf your gear. You will then start the grind again. If you have nothing better to do then buy this game.

Hard truth, liked when it was released back in 2019. Devs don't care on fixing whats already in the game Raid for example we needed matchmaking thats no brainer, they keep on adding stuff that nobody cares. its like more bugs more problem.

Buggy as hell, scaling is a mess. super fun in groups but absolutely wretched soloing. I mean simply it is a waste of time and unrewarding unless you can group npcs have too much ammo/grenades and are super sponge. In most game the bad guys are the Doritos in solo Division 2 The player is the squishy

Game worked for the first few weeks, after update 2.0 game continues to crash after 5 mins.

Spent solid 2 hours troubleshooting and came to the conclusion this was a rushed product and is full of bugs. Not gonna bore you with the details but garbage game that you should avoid until 6 months from now when the game will be patched to a "working version" that it should have been at launch.

I like the map, the graphics, the environment, but the game is boring, a whole magazine for a single enemy, endgame is repetitive and just a big farm. Also Pvp dark zone gameplay dynamics are not well done.
I wouldn't play it even if it was a f2p game.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The game industry today is so bad we have come to expect products to release half broken, in fact, a half broken product is within the margin of error from most consumers point of view. I strongly believe this now especially after I've seen enough of what The Division 2 has to offer.

It is highly praised for its endgame content, which starts after you hit level 30, which is in fact, just a replay for some of the main missions you have already completed but now with the added twist, gear restrictions and reskinned enemies that you have to progress through to be able to obtain items with higher "gear score" and increase your chances of survival in PVP. I know PVP is not for everybody but Ubisoft uses Dark Zone as a selling point yet it is severely unbalanced and unfair in normal AND normalized modes.

The main story lacks substance and is easily forgettable, the levels are well designed and vary from one another but the enemy mechanics are all the same. Stay in cover or flank the player. The AI is constantly aware and tries to counter react against the player. The instant the player presses the button to equip the grenade, several enemies will get out of cover ready to shoot, the same happens when player leaves the cover, if the player is not moving for long enough, enemies will use grenades or attempt to flank to lure the player out. This is about as we get out of AI and that is okay. However in the open world, capturing control points or doing random activities will soon become a chore. You will find yourself completely vulnerable in the face of an ambush from a random enemy "patrol" while you're attempting to complete any of those. You are very squishy, the game encourages you to think your actions but quite often, around 2/4 times in my experience you will find out enemies can spawn right behind you and instantly killing you. This aspect of the game is not challenging nor fun, it's just a fake added difficulty that does more bad than good.

The game fakes projectiles, it plays an effect of a projectile but the actual bullets are hitscan, I found myself trying to aim ahead of running enemies without any success of landing any shots, the only way to actually hit an enemy whether it is a player or an npc is to make sure you actually shot only after the crosshair has turned red, which usually happens only if you're aiming straight at the body, regardless of distance.

DX12 performance is better than DX11, too bad it crashes the game every hour or so. It is however on DX11 by default so most players probably wouldn't notice.

It is somewhat reminiscent of Defiance, it does many things right, but for every good aspect of the game there is also a bad one. It may get polished out in time but right now there are too many things that put me off. I've sinked 50 hours into the game and I'll stop here for now.

This Awesome Game gets beaten down by the lack of performance. Even PUBG runs better. The Game crashes 8 Times in just 3 hours and you have to open the Game in Window-mode or you have a blackscreen.

But should you continue to the "end game" (RPG character building thing), then you are in deep trouble. Unfixed bugs, Constant nerfing, buffing, gear bonuses changing at developer's discretion will make your experience very frustrating. - imagine all your time spent farming for those gears, suddenly be changed on some future update. As of writing this review, the devs are planning to nerf some gears and weapons.

Don't get me wrong, I am able to make solid builds even with all these constant changes, capable of clearing Heroic and Legendary mission replays (2 of the hardest modes of the game). But this game really requires time, time that some players do not have.

this game is a work in progress, sold half-baked.

In conclusion, buy this game when it's on sale. play only the campaign and move on to other games unless you have all the time in the world and is OK with these unfixed bugs, and constant changes the developers are doing to perhaps extend your time playing as you will need to re-farm gears until the devs decided to change it again.

The game is essentially the Modern RPG equivalent of Breath of the Wild, with a breathtaking environment and immersive soundscapes to match. However, all of this good comes at a terrible price, as you can't fully enjoy the world early on due to area leveling, which leaves you with only two choices: grind levels or sneak to explore. The former works 20 times better than the latter... for every level under the minimum you are.

The co-op, especially the Dark Zone, is enjoyable with friends. This turns around and slaps you in the face by making the game scale to the level of the highest-leveled player instead of going the other way around, forcing you to make a completely new agent to play with any friends that want to play the game with you.

The "living world" mechanics are a revolutionary improvement from the original game and gives depth to the series' focus on urban warfare by having plenty of things for you to deal with, including Control Points and Liberation projects. The downside of this is actually a feature: Invasions. I don't know why but I've had problems with Invasion missions and strongholds so often that it can't possibly be a problem on my end. The standard variants work flawlessly, group or not, but I haven't been able to run a single Invasion variant mission in a single attempt because something always breaks, most often a door.

Pre-ordered WONY. Expected to have similar experience as at launch, but boy - was I wrong. Gear 2.0 is something I really liked. It maybe simplified the game, but it made everything more manageable.

Pre-ordered WONY. Expected to have similar experience as at launch, but boy - was I wrong.

Gear 2.0 is something I really liked. It maybe simplified the game, but it made everything more manageable.

Unfortunately, that is the only positive side of WONY and current state of The Division 2.

It is lazy, buggy as hell and not a joy to play. Loot is generally crap, some gear sets don't work, some talents currently also don't work (in DZ, for example), control points are not reset, can't reach boss areas in at least 1 bounty, flame thrower enemies have insane range, and so on, and so on. There are many places which describe all the bugs, no point to list it here.

But worst of all - Massive did what they said they would not do.

They turned The Division 2 enemies into sponges. Worst sponges you can imagine. Horrible and super lazy decision. A year ago, things would be hard, but you wouldn't spend 2 minutes shooting at a thing trying to kill it.

Also, you now die pretty much if enemies fart in your general direction.

So, you end up with a "cover-based" game where you are supposed to stay behind cover in order not to die, but at the same time you need to peek outside cover in order to shoot enemies for half an hour in order to damage them. Paradoxical.

Damage glitch was a revelation, since it made it possible for players to realize how crap loot drop tables are and that there is nothing to look forward to, in the end game. Massive has changed the game so it feels like a mobile game. Really sad about that.

Basically, loot drops are junk and you have a very small chance to actually get a piece of gear, or a weapon, with really good rolls. Massive has turned the game into a "quest for a good drop" game.

Loot in The Division 2 is simply gambling and nothing more than that. Some people might like it, but I like to be rewarded for the time I spend in game, so this does not sit with me well.

All that being said - if you get a game at a good discount, buy it and play until you reach the end game.

Game is beautiful, story line is interesting and you should get a lot of fun before you reach the end game. You won't need to worry about builds, talents or anything else while you are progressing, so you won't notice all the issues.

However, if you don't like bulletsponges as enemies, skip TD2.

Disclaimer: Review was written on April 3rd 2019, and at this point in time enemies are horrible bulletsponges. That might change in the future.

Its so bad that Massive can't make use of this great setting, they have created.

Its always the same, even now with the "new" events: Finish this mission you already played at least 50 times again and get some checkpoints to unlock the manhunt. Seriously how lame is that? Give us at least new maps or new type of quest than all this repeating non sense. Ok since the game is only 3- 9

Ok since the game is only 3- 9 bucks worthy I guess they get a lot new players that really enjoy that. But for Players that spend more than 32 days into this game it sucks. Even the Polarity Mission is just boring. Maybe Day1, its was nice to have a new type of challenge but in the end its just shoot this many people in a special way.

I really enjoyed hunting down Keener. But even is death is so meh. No one cares what happens after that. All we get is this endless grind to level 1000. And yeah I did that because I love grinding and did all kind of side activities like Territoriums, Target Practise, Rescue Hostage legid. And yeah its boring as hell even with friends.

Using the glitch was the first time I felt like this is how the game should be. You get so much bad loot in 200 hours of grinding even with this glitch its crazy. And its not like you are rambo and cant die. You still need to find good spots to be in cover or else they will one shot you. I challenged myself with doing legendary runs all over again solo and hell yeah that was a lot of fun. And it tooks me 56 trys to get a crappy rolled exotic. I am a hardcore grinder and I lose 200 hours with the rollback.
it would be fine if I would have played 50 hours but this is just mad.

The generell loot was not very good and it feeled like grinding for legendarys in Anthem(46 hours no legendary).
While using the glitch I went of the grid no groups and no friends that could be affected by it.

I am a developer myself for a game company and I can say that we never would treat customer this way. They could have bring a pop up message that informs player about the situation and who ever is using it will get there accounts rolled back and my guess 90 % would have stopped right away.

But it feels like a team from masseffect andromeda and anthem. I am not sure why they can't fix stuff that is important for players for month, instead they blame the players for there incompetence.

Now we can't matchmake anymore because we can get banned if we matchmake with someone using any glitch. And the next think what is a glitch in there terms because some are allowed and some not.

And now instead of buffing the weapons they are nerfing the only dps build that make sense in this game to the ground.

This game becomes a joke and after 32 days of gametime I am going to stop until they get there **** done.

No more Bullet sponges accept bosses and armored guys
More rewarding Drops no purples and low tier gear in challenging and heroic missions
Revive Hive is working as it should
More content and better quest system.
And the most important think is this toxic mindset that Massive has against his playerbase. If this will not change than there live service game will become the next Anthem.

Its time for Final Fantasy 7 and to grind again like it should be ^^

Play around 300 hours, used to like it but when they release a DLC and lock most of the feature behind it, it divided the user into 2 categories: OP and trash. The totally left the based game players behind and force them to buy the expansion (it's completely trashed if you read the review). So thanks to greedy dev, I decided to NOT buy the expansion because it's no longer fun.

After a few missions you don't feel adventurous, the only thing I felt was exhaustion from all those tiring missions that have basically the same goal but just in different locations. Playing a game is meant to have fun and not to complete a task sheet.

What Ubisoft was trying to do was to prolong the game by repeating the same missions all over again. After completion of everything the map is all green and the player feels the final accomplishment. That all is crushed by the new enemies that overtake the map and then you have to do it all over again. (note that those enemies are not different than the last ones, just a few different backlog audio and a new type of enemy who this time is an actual bullet sponge robot).

Guess I'm done with this game and with Ubisoft games period. Every time they promise not to screw customers they find some new way of screwing people again. negatives
-Glitchy rooms that will not load.
-random spawning/roaming enemies that can quite often cheat you out of completing a world event, this is worst when you spend 20-30 minutes leveling a control point for blueprint reward when you take it. then it forces you to chase an enemy down that wont go where it is supposed to due to a random roaming patrol ending with the event complete but no reward for you due to being out of the event border.
-lacking any sort of real change to enemy AI rushing or giving AI allies you can play with for those who may wish to play solo.
-having to specifically set up gear for skill powers if you want to put ANY mod on a gadget unless you got lucky and found then saved a low level one to equip late when max lvl.

Take the same Destiny2, which turned out quite controversial. So there I liked only pvp mode. How can you, based on the experience of competitors, make everything so bad?

They added so much unneeded padding to keep the campaign going, and if you don't do the side content, you will be at least 10 levels under the recommendations, not to mention you won't have the recipes for attachments. The spawns are absolutely stupid. I huddle up by some cover to assault a control point only to have every door in the surrounding quarter mile fly open with enemies flooding out around me. There just is no good cover as a solo player. The game isn't meant to be played solo? THEN WHY IS IT AN OPTION!?!? Don't give me a solo choice if it is unreasonable to play it that way.

However heroic and up is just insane to do solo until you get a good build together. The jump from challenging to heroic is the hardest part with so-so loot and low drop rates.
The community is toxic with the split between banned/not banned players. The bans do appear to be indiscriminate and support team is genuinely not reviewing tickets. Not to mention the dps glitch is still around and players are now being perma-banned because of matchmaking. The developer's level of ignorance is at DJT levels. I understand banned players are in the minority, but they are quite active on other platforms for the game. That's probably how they found out about the glitch before devs publicized it. I found out because of the patchnotes on 3/22. It seemed like that is when it caught fire. How can you justify such an extensive rollback? People are seeing their DZ stats are completely reset as well. Do the devs think everybody who tried it, took it into PVP???? Give yourself a 2 week rollback and see how you feel. Rest your recalibration library. Delete all your loot. reset your specilization points. Do this and know that you can't get your season event caches back either. You have to go back and redo tidal basin for nemesis parts. you have to replay level 4 control points for the holster. you have to replay true sons missions for the exotic chest. you have to re-farm NY bosses for lady death. It is just brutal, most people probably never want to play a UBISOFT game again.
The developers really do need to project and see how this looks from the perspective of banned players. Maybe they assume the banned community has been doing it since TU8 release, but reality some people only tried it after the failed patches. It is really brutal for them to be rolled back 2 weeks with 1 week ban. Its just a kick in the face for unbanned players to gloat. Its even worse knowing there are heavy glitchers who kept the loot. Its just toxic to see youtubers cozy with the devs shove it their faces.
The game is definitely amazing to play though. the premise and gameplay is awesome. However, the developers are seriously out of touch. Maybe it is because they know they put a great game out there?

If you thought Anthem was bad, it was. This started good and with each update the developers keep making the game worse, it's actually impressive in a sick sort of way how they manage to ruin a game with SO much potential. It's turning into Anthem.
There are many bugs with this game that the developers simply can't or won't fix. Bugs that have been in the game since it launched. There seems to be a total lack of any kind of testing before updates are rolled out.
I also doubt the developers can ride a bike, because their idea of balance is laughable. As soon as something is fun it gets nerfed, no other form of balancing exists in this game. As soon as people have a decent build, they WILL nerf it.

Finally let's address the elephant in the room, the recent bans and rollbacks. Massive leave bugs unpatched and ban players. Yes they shouldn't abuse the glitches, but at the same time any decent developer would fix the glitches asap and not roll players back for an arbitrary amount of time because of their own incompetence. Speaking of incompetence, they couldn't even get the bans right. There are loads of videos on youtube of people showing themselves cheating using the glitches and then follow-up videos where even they can;t believe they didn't get banned. Then massive do a state of the game where they say they have 100% accurate detection system for the glitch. They simply lie to the player base.

Save yourself the time and money, don't buy this game until Ubisoft change the developer to a competent, professional team. Because the game COULD be amazing, it just has a chain around its neck dragging it down, Massive Entertainment.

This PvP is not balanced, it does not scale to remove any disadvantage for lower level or lower gear score players. So in a TPShooter, the PvP works something like world of warcraft. Acquire the best highest level gear first from either PvE or PvP, then your sh17 will roll downhill on everyone else. I would say there is some room for skill being required after that, but no. All thats left is spamming your skills (drone, turret etc.). Not a skill based PvP at all. Even in similar FPSMMOs or TPSMMOs, the PvP is independent of PvE or gear achievement. Gave it a 1 because running around a 1:1 scale of a post apocalyptic DC is decent. Thats it. Expand

The way The Division 2 handles microtransactions is terrible, and needs to be adressed. having ingame tutorials leading to content behind a paywall is unacceptable (the huge violet icon on the map, where the year one pass missions are located) Yoe are led towards this location, as if it was the next mission content you had to do, there even is a ingame popup telling you to go there, onlyThe way The Division 2 handles microtransactions is terrible, and needs to be adressed. having ingame tutorials leading to content behind a paywall is unacceptable (the huge violet icon on the map, where the year one pass missions are located) Yoe are led towards this location, as if it was the next mission content you had to do, there even is a ingame popup telling you to go there, only to ask you to buy the year one pass when you arrive.
(In my country Ubisoft is not allowed to sell their real money coins, so i couldn“t even buy the pass if i wanted to XD)
thats not all though, microtransaction content is advertised all over, it really is disgusting.
I only buy Ubisoft titles at deep discounts, and would never get a game at release that asks AAA Full Price, and as soon as you start the game asks for money again.

    Shame on you Ubisoft!

Its has a lot of promise but it is plagued with serious bugs which have been introduced with recent patches. Lag / freezing / DC's / crafting issues / absent ammo drops...
    Barely playable atm.

Pros: I really do like the atmosphere, which is way better than the prequel, and the same goes for the story as well. The mechanics haven't really changed, so I didn't notice anything exceptionally great or terrible. It's fun to play with friends, just like The Division (1).
Cons: Players need to face the same thing a load of Ubisoft games "feature", which is terrible optimalisation.

Cons: Players need to face the same thing a load of Ubisoft games "feature", which is terrible optimalisation. This makes those insane graphics of trailers and gameplays appear only in the dreams of a load of us, as it requires massive hardware to run as expected. In most of the cases these frequent lags make the game unplayable or at leas unenjoyable.
The way I see it: although there was great potential in this game, I don't believe Ubisoft has even tried to make the best out of it. It was one hell of a ride to cope with a load of lags and actually try having some fun. (i7-6900k/gtx1080/32gig/ssd)

Perfect reward system, very tactile gunplay and great visuals make Division 2 the best loot shooter on the market, and one of the best co-op games in the recent years. [Issue#237, p.36]

For all the deafening noise and fury of its street battles and set-pieces, The Division 2 is, at heart, a game of co-operative tidying up with incrementally better guns.

With the experience accumulated on The Division 1, Massive manages with TD2 to excite our curiosity. Stronger, more generous, better built, the title succeeds where other games as service before it has struggled to. Thanks to its end-game, which renew the experience by adding content and skillfully recycles the existing one, but also thanks to this map of Washington, absolutely fantastic, which allows more than ever to immerse yourself in the universe of the agents of the Division.
