    The Watchmaker offers a lot of very good and challenging puzzles for the fans to enjoy. But its level-design is average at best, and we’re still wondering why is there any fights in this game.

    Although my own experience with this game has been a profoundly negative one, I can’t completely condemn it. After all, the graphics are delightful and the premise is an engrossing one.

    A tale of the almighty power of time, The Watchmaker is reminiscent of Portal in its humor and scientific focus. Playing will prompt reflection and evoke emotion, but deficiencies include narrative, level design, and puzzles.

    The Watchmaker is a 3/10 third-person puzzle game that's actually a 0/10 game due to all of the technical issues it has. Poor optimization,The Watchmaker is a 3/10 third-person puzzle game that's actually a 0/10 game due to all of the technical issues it has. Poor optimization, long loading times, and the general buginess makes it hard for me to recommend this game to anyone unless they're willing to put up with them and/or have a beefy PC to brute force better performance. It's a shame that it's like this too, because I'm a sucker for games with a steampunk aesthetic, and this game more than delivers on that front. The puzzles suck and the main difficulty is to find how to use them, not to find the answer because even a 3 years old could resolve this puzzles, but not even a Gx1070ti can move this game with constant FPS's, in low quality.
