    If you’re a fan of literature, games with meaning, or unique art styles, then you won’t regret playing The Wanderer: Frankenstein’s Creature. A calm, sorrowful, and beautiful adventure awaits you, with poignant storytelling from the very Creature you control. The landscape will splay out around you in vibrant watercolors, and the music will guide your emotions. There is no thrill, no fast-paced adventure, no strategy, so if that’s your cup of tea you may want to look elsewhere. Otherwise, this game is a beautiful book come to life, and is absolutely worth the play.

    Rather than treating Mary Shelley’s creation as the monster of so many horror movies, The Wanderer: Frankenstein’s Creature is true to the spirit of the original novel and is a treat for the eyes and ears.

    The Wanderer is a beautifully creative point and click adventure that leads you through the tale of Mary Shelly’s Frankenstein using puzzles and decisions that affect the outcome of the tale. Unfortunately, a handful of game-breaking bugs render it almost unplayable.

Mi riferisco a prodotti che puntano molto a far si che il giocatore provi empatia per loro attraverso uno stile assai curato e una narrativa dalle tematiche più profonde. Basti citare produzioni come To The Moon o l’italianissimo Last Day of June. Tuttavia il videogioco di La Belle Games ha come punto di forza quello di essere un ottimo adattamento del romanzo classico con il quale si può approfondire sicuramente la comprensione del messaggio dell’opera letteraria. Facendola breve, sono pienamente d’accordo con la redattrice dell’anteprima del videogioco sulla sua valenza didattica. Addirittura mi sembra assai scontato che una produzione del genere sia un passo avanti nel discorso del videogioco come strumento didattico. Consigliato agli amanti delle esperienze più narrative.… Expand
