Explore intricate levels while helping a robotic dog collect "brains" to unlock new levels.

The entire game is very much like a maze, with every level connected to another. These levels are all shown on a map, which conveniently shows which "brains" you have found that still need collecting. And there are many forks in the road, giving you plenty of levels to work on in case you get get stuck on one.

You will come across many tools to help Rusty find his way, but nothing is for keeps; you will lose all of your items when you leave a level. Instead, you triumph over past levels you had walked away from by using your head to understand the rules of the game, and figure out what exactly Rusty can and can't do.

The graphics are generally dark, but the colors are surprisingly vibrant, and the lights are used to show the player where Rusty Pup will readily walk. The style is similar to the undergound levels of Donkey Kong Country, and the artwork and sound are very well done and make for a highly immersive experience.

I'm about 10 hours into the game, and at 40% completion. I'd say The Unlikely Legend of Rust Pup is fifteen bucks well spent!

A polished, challenging thinking game that gives you a proper sense of pride and accomplishment, without hand-holding, grinding, currencies or an overabundance of cutscenes. It also has a lovely aesthetic and charm in its designs and humour. While some patience is required to fully enjoy it, I would highly recommend this to anybody. Expand

A puzzle platformer that plays similar to Lemmings except instead of focusing on so many little characters, you're focusing mainly on just one: Rusty Pup! But that doesn't mean it'll be easier! Rusty Pup moves on his own and you must guide him to the end of the level by helping build platforms and dodging hazards. Along the way you must collect these Brain Cube things to unlock the tougher stages in the game.

Many of the stages MAY seem tough at first due to your first idea of handling the situation, but play more will give you that "Ah-HA! Of course!" moment. That's what makes it rewarding when you finally beat the stage.

I love the atmosphere of the game and the use of old-timey music. It screams Chris Seavor, the guy who made the game as well as Conker's Bad Fur Day.

I really enjoyed this game and I find myself losing track of time, telling myself, "Okay. ONE more try! I swear I got it!". Check it out some time! :)
