Feb 11, 2014In building an intriguing alternate world, The Sun at Night charms, despite its flaws.

Mar 4, 2014A Soviet world supremacy has combined with a tale of a saved space female dog. The Sun at Night is a wonderful mixture of real history and fantasy. Nonetheless, a mere idea won't make a great game. Its frustrating gameplay that has been caused by design failures should warn you.

Feb 4, 2014The Sun at Night is a wonderful idea that features a lovable main character with a very interesting past. Unfortunately, the gameplay does not feel like it is quite there yet, as its adherence to old-school design elements impairs player accessibility.

Feb 4, 2014The art and customization are really the game’s strong suits, so hopefully Minicore studios can bring the rest of the package up to the standard set by those elements. Regardless of my issues with The Sun at Night, I’m looking forward to continuing Laika’s journey.

Feb 7, 2014There's little power to the bland gameplay or awkward, convoluted story. Laika is a tragic figure whose real-life fate is depressing, but the Laika of The Sun at Night doesn't make me feel anything at all.
