It's kind of paid advertising with the genius twist that you pay for it. If you still like star wars despite the latest episodes you will have a little bit fun. If you feel bored with the rest of the game and all dlc you have, it offers something new, but not much of it. It's not that bad, but it's not good as well. EA has a Star Wars license, so I'm not surprised they've released this extension, but I'm not sure if that was a good idea. The advantages are droids and lightsabers, and the downsides are that you'll rather send a sim to Batuu once and it won't come back there again, because there won't be any reason why (as in the case of Selvadorada) andIt's not that bad, but it's not good as well. The CAS elements are fine, especially Rey's haircut is very nice, but they could do different races as occults, not masks. Expand

The world of Batuu is very polished, the environments are detailed, and there’s a story to play through, but there are also some issues that mar the experienced. You can’t edit lots without using codes, some missions are bugged (I couldn’t finish the evil storyline because of that!), and once you reach the pinnacle of your career, there’s not much left to do beside side missions. First and foremost intended for fans of the Star Wars saga, The Sims 4: Journey to Batuu is a very decent game pack, which offers a solid experience, if not really interesting over time.

The Sims 4 Journey to Batuu is a great addition to the library, but it’s reaching a point where I’d like to see how far Maxis can push the Sims concept with a new iteration.
