  • Summary: The Secrets of Jesus is a classic point & click adventure game, which tells an old tale in a completely new manner.

The overall experience is limited and pretty shallow, however, as mentioned at the start, it has points for originality and educational purposes. This game would be perfect for those who are interested in the topic area of Christianity, but for everyone else, you may want to pass on this one.

I'm not bashing this game because it's about religion. It isn't bad because it's a religious satire. It's bad because every aspect of it misses the mark. The graphics are bland, the music is repetitive and dull, the satire isn't funny, and the point and click interface isn't easy to use. I've never before encountered a point and click adventure that made it so difficult to point and click.

The Secrets of Jesus has a great premise for parody of a topic that few people would be game enough to attempt, but the execution is awful in delivering a wordy mess that makes little sense and, more importantly, is just plain uninteresting and a labour to play.

Very funny game and respectful. Music is great and the puzzles are a little difficult but also funny and good.

Anyway, I will be honest, the game is good, very funny at times although the jokes are bizzare. Some puzzles are not logical but you can find such puzzles in almost every adventure game. The game can teache you a lot about Jesus and his time. Some events contradict the events of the Bible and that what makes the game interesting. The end is great. If you are a theologian or a very religious person you shouldn't play it because the humor will annoy you. Good Job! Expand

I am amazed at how developer Amir did it on his own. Lots of information, funny jokes, nice puzzles and nice atmosphere. Hats off! The musicI am amazed at how developer Amir did it on his own. Lots of information, funny jokes, nice puzzles and nice atmosphere. Hats off! The music is also very nice and fitting. Unfortunately there are 2 negative reviews here, but I am sure that the authors were not neutral and are Christians who don't have a sense for dark humor. I would recommend this indie game to atheists and Christians. Expand
