Dec 24, 2020this is without doubt the best wrpg i have played so far.
Im completly obssesed with it, and i obssese over a game like once a every 5 years.
Also you dont need a very powerful pc to run it, which is great.
great writing.
I would love for it to have a radio tho, i just mute the bgm and play a fallout 24/7 radio on youtube -

Nov 3, 2019У игры есть свои недочеты, но мне очень понравилась история и квесты. Так же понравилась система диалогов, которая изобилует разной вариацией ответов.

Nov 3, 2019This game is blend of star wars, borderlands, and fallout. The gameplay feels like something in 2012 meaning it's outdated. The best part is the narrative/rpg. The story is amazing and so are the quests. 7.5/10

Nov 6, 2019I thought it was a fantastic game. Just way too short, there needed to be more of it.

Jul 6, 2020I love RPG's, I love open-worlds (Or semi in this case), and I love Obsidian. I don't get why I don't like this game, It's all there, I couldn't even finish It because of how bored I was.

Oct 27, 2019This game is making me not miss playing Fallout New Vegas. And that is a good thing, seeing as FNV is my favorite game of all time. But we'll see if this is just new car-smell or if it really will last. I think it'll be the latter, because the writing, the characters and the gameplay is just marvellous. I do miss the free-roaming open landscape of FNV though.

Oct 27, 2019One of the best games of this year. I really like the dialogue system and the pumping system in the game. There are small bugs and errors in localization, but this does not interfere with the game.

Oct 27, 2019The game is very good and well polished. My only complain is that I don't like the graphic too much because colors are very saturated and bright and I just can't get used to it. Everything else is just good. I saw a lot of people comparing this to fallout but to be honest this is just a new Kotor in a different universe.

Oct 29, 2019Absolute best game I’ve played In years. Action RPG done right! After fallout being watered down i was super bummed about the direction the genre was going, however obsidian has done it again. The gun play and time dilation feels crisp, gorgeous worlds and exciting enemies. I look forward to getting lost in this game for hours.

Nov 16, 2020The problem with this isn't that it is a bad game (far from it), but the fact that it failed to reach its true potential… or maybe the expectations were simply too high, because there's nothing here that anyone can point to and say that it is terrible. Sadly, there's almost nothing that's great either, apart from the role-playing element and the quality of writing. The gunplay? Ok. The exploration? Decent. The plot? Fine. The dominant feeling here is of a game that is good enough so that you won't hate it, but also not as good for it to be the flawless classic that it could definitely be - but again, that's probably those darn high expectations speaking, because flaws or no flaws, The Outer Worlds shouldn't be missing from any RPG collection.
-
Dec 9, 2019An excellent effort from Obsidian, and though The Outer Worlds doesn’t surpass its predecessors by offering a world worth visiting over and over, the adventure it presents is more than worth the time spent.

Game World Navigator MagazineDec 6, 2019Usually, a planet has just one or two settlements and a bit of wildlands to explore. But that’s for the best – instead of exploring miles of filler content, Outer Worlds keeps you moving from planet to planet, from one tense situation to another. [Issue#241, p.34]
