The Mystery of Woolley Mountain is a heaping helping of quirky farce, whose occasional foibles are easily atoned for by the eccentric puzzles and general good humour.

Woolley Mountain is a touching homage to 80s and 90s gaming, but modern audiences may struggle to get along with it.

The Mystery of Woolley Mountain certainly serves up rewarding mental challenges, but they’re paired with a constant challenge of another sort: the game’s unsophistication in almost every other department. Stilted in its art style and comedic choices, it will test your nerves as much as your brain.

Being a huge fan of point and click adventures such as Monkey island and Simon the sorcerer I loved The Mystery Of Woolley Mountain. With itsBeing a huge fan of point and click adventures such as Monkey island and Simon the sorcerer I loved The Mystery Of Woolley Mountain. With its hilarious characters and great British humour this is up there with the best of them. It has a good storyline, puzzles and brilliant retro references. I hope there's a sequel. Expand
